A North Carolina man, previously arrested nine times, is free once more after being detained for allegedly assaulting a woman at gunpoint earlier this summer, as indicated by court records accessed by Fox News Digital.
Trivius Crouch, aged 23, found himself back in custody when his bond was increased following accusations of assault with a deadly weapon, assault on a female, assault by pointing a gun, and damage to personal property on October 30, according to information from the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.
According to court documents, the July incident involved Crouch approaching the family of a woman with whom he shares a child. He attempted to communicate with her while she was seated in a vehicle in Charlotte.
The woman’s mother reportedly intervened by grabbing Crouch to prevent him from reaching her daughter, which allegedly led to Crouch attacking the victim, as stated in the affidavit.

Authorities report that Trivius Crouch has faced at least nine arrests for various alleged offenses in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
According to police, Crouch’s gun fell out of his waistband as the pair were fighting in the front yard of the home, causing him to pick it up and allegedly fire two shots into the air and one shot into the ground near the victim.
Crouch then allegedly returned to his vehicle to obtain a baseball bat, which he is accused of using to break into the family’s Mercedes SUV before turning the bat on the victim, subsequently striking her in the head, arm and legs.
“[The victim] advised she just kept moving around, but before anything else happened Crouch took off running behind the house,” police said.
