The Los Angeles residence in Sullivan Canyon that once belonged to the late Diane Keaton has been sold for $18 million. This transaction occurred 10 months following her passing on October 11th at the age of 79.

Josh Flagg of Compass managed the sale for the Oscar-winning actress’s party, while Emil Alexander Schneeman of Berkshire Hathaway represented the anonymous buyer. The agreement was finalized on Tuesday, as reported by Realtor.com.

Keaton’s sprawling estate, which features five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, experienced a significant reduction in its asking price. Initially put on the market in March 2025 for $28.9 million, it ultimately sold for considerably less.

The renowned author’s industrial-style property had undergone three separate listings, the latest of which was in June for $22.9 million.

Originally acquired by Keaton (née Hall) in 2011 for $4.7 million, the 9,219-square-foot farmhouse underwent an extensive eight-year renovation. This transformation was chronicled in her 2017 publication, The House That Pinterest Built.

The primary beneficiaries are the two-time Golden Globe winner’s two children – daughter Dexter ‘Dexie’ White, 30, and son Duke Keaton, 26 – whom she adopted in 1996 and 2001.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Duke and Dexie for comment but did not immediately hear back.
