Authorities have confirmed the safe return of a Texas teenager who disappeared mere days before her scheduled departure for college. This announcement was made by police on Tuesday.
Eighteen-year-old Camilla Fuentes was located by detectives with the Rowlett Police Department. However, specific details regarding her location or the circumstances of her discovery have not yet been disclosed.
Camilla’s last known whereabouts were at approximately 4:30 p.m. last Thursday when her family believed she had left for work. However, her manager later confirmed that she was not scheduled to work that day and missed her assigned shift on Friday.

Her family discovered her vehicle parked outside the North Garland restaurant where she worked. Inside the car were her phone, keys, Apple Watch, and AirPods, raising concerns about her sudden disappearance.
A note left behind by Camilla was also found, although its contents have not been released to the public. This led investigators to handle the case as a missing person scenario, ruling out any foul play for the time being.
Fuentes is set to head to VIllanova University in the fall to study civil engineering.
