First Son Donald Trump Jr. has broken the truce he and his father started amid news that former President Joe Biden has an ‘aggressive’ form of prostate cancer.

Just hours after President Trump’s eldest son put ‘politics aside’ to wish Biden a ‘speedy recovery’ – he then questioned whether the diagnosis was part of a coverup.

‘What I want to know is how Dr. Jill Biden [missed] stage five metastatic cancer, or is this yet another coverup??’ Trump Jr. asked about the former First Lady.

Jill Biden has a doctoral degree in education.

Trump Jr. also shared a screengrab of a post from physician Dr. Steven Quay, who called prostate cancer ‘the easiest cancer to diagnose when it first starts and to watch it progress to bone metastases.’  

Quay noted that routine blood tests that are recommended for men over the age of 50 show how quickly the cancer can grow.  

Biden had been ‘experiencing increasing urinary symptoms’ when doctors found a ‘small nodule’ on his prostate.

The 82-year-old was officially diagnosed on Friday, with the White House confirming the news on Sunday.

The White House said the stage IV prostate cancer has spread to his bones – a dire and difficult-to-treat condition.

The health announcement came just one week after reports revealed that a ‘small nodule’ was found on Biden’s prostate that needed ‘further evaluation.’

Biden’s office said the former president ‘was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms’ last week.

‘On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone,’ it adds of the grave prognosis.

Prostate cancers are given a ‘Gleason score’ that measures how the cancerous cells look compared with normal cells.

Initially upon hearing the news, Trump Jr. took to his Instagram story to wish the former president ‘a speedy recovery.’

But as night fell, he seemed to question how long Biden may have had the disease.

‘For even with the most aggressive form, it is a five to seven year journey without treatment before it becomes metastatic,’ Quay asserted. 

He publicly questioned whether former First Lady Jill Biden covered up her husband’s cancer 

‘Meaning it would be malpractice for this patient to show up and first be diagnosed with metastatic disease in May 2025.

‘It is highly likely he was carrying a diagnosis of prostate cancer throughout his White House tenure and the American people were uninformed,’ the doctor claimed.

This is a theory which has spread like wildfire on X in the hours since Biden’s diagnosis was made public. 

TikTokker JD Sharp replied to Trump Jr.’s post by claiming the announcement of Biden’s diagnosis on Sunday ‘is an effort to push the fact that Biden was running the country as a vegetable under the rug.’

‘Without question,’ Trump Jr. wrote back.

While Trump Jr. is clearly skeptical about details of Biden’s revelation, his father joined a chorus of politicians from both sides of the divide to offer their condolences.

President Trump’s heartfelt statement was released to Truth Social on Sunday, insisting that he and First Lady Melania were ‘saddened to hear’ about the diagnosis. 

‘We wish Joe a fast and successful recovery,’ Trump wrote. 

Barack and Michelle Obama also weighed in. The former president wrote on X: ‘Michelle and I are thinking of the entire Biden family.

‘Nobody has done more to find breakthrough treatments for cancer in all its forms than Joe, and I am certain he will fight this challenge with his trademark resolve and grace. We pray for a fast and full recovery.’

Obama’s statement was seen as an olive branch amid speculation he helped to push Biden out as the Democratic presidential nominee following his disastrous June debate against Trump. 

The Trump family has long been critical of Biden’s cognitive decline, with President Trump referring to Biden as ‘sleepy Joe’ in the run-up to the election, slamming his light schedule and claiming the White House was being run by his ‘handlers.’

Questions over the former president’s age, health and fitness for office ultimately led him to ditch his reelection campaign and let then-Vice President Kamala Harris, 60, take over.

But the move also damaged the relationship between Biden and Harris, leading the former president to feel betrayed by some of his closest political allies.

Harris issued a lackluster message to Biden on Sunday via X, wishing him a speedy recovery.

She wrote: ‘Joe is a fighter — and I know he will face this challenge with the same strength, resilience, and optimism that have always defined his life and leadership.’ 

While her decision to run in Biden’s place ruffled feathers among the president’s inner circle, leaders within the Democratic Party have now started to publicly admit that he never should have run for reelection in 2024. 

Some claim that they were duped by advisers who were shielding Biden from the public and telling members of the party he was fit behind the scenes.

The Trump family has long been critical of Biden’s cognitive decline

The forthcoming book details how Biden’s deterioration towards the end of his single term was so severe that some aides started to weight whether he needed to use a wheelchair. 

The authors claim advisers were privately discussing in 2023 and 2024 the possibility that Biden might need to use a wheelchair if he won reelection – and they were weighing how to hide it until after Election Day in November 2024. 

Internet critics and even some medical professionals had also weighed-in on Biden’s gait towards the end of his presidency, mentioning his shuffle and his inclination to stumble and even fall completely to the ground. 

During a commencement address at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado on June 1, 2023, Biden tripped and fell down while on stage. A few members of his Secret Service detail rushed to help him back to his feet. 

The conversations about wheelchair use reflect Biden’s extreme health decline and spine issues, and the extent to which his White House team was willing to go to conceal it during a tough reelection.

CNN host Brian Stelter said the timing of Biden’s diagnosis was ‘extraordinary’ given the onslaught of negative coverage over 82-year-old former president’s declining mental state while in the Oval Office. 

‘The timing is just extraordinary,’ Stelter said, citing the ongoing speculation about Biden’s cognitive decline.

Stetler said Biden’s diagnosis would not end the debate over his mental decline, however, it was ‘briefly put on pause.’ 

A statement from Biden’s office says his family is now reviewing his treatment options

Biden’s office has confirmed that he and his family are ‘reviewing treatment options with his physicians.’

Doctors and medical professionals note that effective treatment for hormone-sensitive prostate cancer is blocking testosterone production since the hormone can help the cancer to grow and thrive. 

Biden had previously battled cancer, and had a lesion removed from his chest in February 2023.

Prior to entering office, he also had several non-melanoma skin cancer spots removed with Mohs surgery.

But while serving as president in February 2024, Biden’s doctor declared him ‘fit to serve’ following a routine physical at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
