Dramatic US Coast Guard Rescue: Infant, Child Among 8 Saved from Capsized Vessel Near Fort Myers Beach

Eight people, including a baby and a young child, owe their lives to the quick response of the U.S. Coast Guard crew from Fort Myers Beach, who acted swiftly after a boat overturned Friday afternoon near Florida’s Sanibel Causeway.

The crew hurried to the scene of the capsized boat, carrying out a well-orchestrated and swift rescue that ensured every individual was safely pulled from the water.

Authorities have applauded the operation’s triumph, attributing the success to the team’s “relentless” commitment to training and effective collaboration.
