Possible drive-by shooting leaves woman in critical condition

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A woman was critically injured just after midnight Thursday when she was hit multiple times by gunfire inside her Longbranch area home on Jacksonville’s Eastside, police said.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating whether it was a drive-by shooting but said the shooter fired into the woman’s home on Claudia Spencer Street from outside.

Police did not have any suspect information to release.
