Eagles wideout Tyrie Cleveland was carted off Lincoln Financial Field midway through the third quarter of Philadelphia’s preseason game vs. Cleveland.
Despite the incredibly troubling first appearances, the Eagles revealed Cleveland had suffered a neck injury and crucially, ‘has movement in all of his extremities.’
The former Bronco looked like he was briefly knocked out after rising high for a jump ball against Browns defensive back Gavin Heslop only to land with his head/neck area driving hard into the ground.
Cleveland lay relatively lifeless before players and personnel surrounded him.
The Houston native had a neck brace placed upon him and was put on a stretcher before leaving the field on the cart.

Cleveland was a seventh round draft choice in the 2020 Draft out of the University of Florida
Amid the tremendously worrying scenes, players from both teams huddled around Cleveland and gave him their well-wishes.
WPVI TV reporter Jamie Apody shared a video to X of Eagles fans performing the Mexican Wave as Cleveland was being treated on the field prior to being carted off.
‘Not the time folks,’ Apody wrote with the accompanying video. ‘I love you. I do. But not the time.’
The 25-year-old has played 23 career games — all for the Denver Broncos — before he was signed to the Eagles’ practice squad in January.
Cleveland was taken by Denver in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of the University of Florida.
He played 10 games in his rookie season before seven in his sophomore campaign and six during his final season with the AFC East franchise.
Through his three-year pro football career, Cleveland has eight receptions – from 17 targets – 91 receiving yards.
