Elsie Hewitt, Former Partner of Pete Davidson, Asserts She is Raising Their Daughter

Elsie Hewitt, a new mother, has recently shared that she is managing the care of her infant daughter and her financial responsibilities independently, amid rumors of a breakup with her partner, Pete Davidson.

The couple, who celebrated the arrival of their daughter Scottie Rose late last year, are reportedly no longer together.

On Saturday, the 30-year-old Hewitt addressed criticisms about her appearance after being spotted in public. She emphasized that her priorities have shifted since becoming a parent.

“My appearance isn’t my main concern right now,” she explained to her TikTok audience. “I have a baby to look after, and I need to work to earn a living. I’m doing it all on my own, which is challenging.”

The video was captioned ‘priorities ?!?!’ and captured an ‘exhausted’ Hewitt speaking with followers from her couch.

Many concerned followers commented on her situation, to which Hewitt responded in messages that seem to have been removed since.

 Sources have refuted Hewitt’s claims with The Daily Mail, with one saying Davidson, 32, ‘covers all costs’ related to their daughter

‘I hope you don’t mean you’re doing the financial part alone… that would be insane given the circumstances. You seem like a lovely person and a wonderful mother! We’re all rooting for you,’ one commenter said.

‘I am :),’ Hewitt replied in a comment that appears to now be deleted.

‘Sorry but not staying with your partner when they are pp is insanely loser behavior. This is THE most vulnerable time in a woman’s life,’ another wrote.

‘Amen sis,’ she replied in another comment that is no longer up.

Sources, however, have refuted the claims Hewitt made in the video, telling The Daily Mail that Davidson, 32, ‘covers all costs’ related to their daughter.

A source close to the couple’s finances told The Daily Mail: ‘These posts make no sense, as she is well aware that Pete covers all costs associated with Scottie, including childcare, as well as Elsie’s rent and health insurance, among other expenses.’

Further, another source close to the couple said that Davidson has made spending time with Scottie a priority.  

‘Pete has made himself completely available and has consistently prioritized spending time with their daughter, which he will continue to do,’ the source said. ‘He wants Elsie to be comfortable and successful.’

Daily Mail have reached out to representatives for Davidson and Hewitt for comment.

The Sun reported last week that the couple had called it quits on their whirlwind relationship in part due to Davidson’s busy schedule.

‘Pete has been traveling so much for work, but Elsie was craving more support from him at home after their daughter was born,’ a source told The Sun of the new mother.

‘It was very hard for him because, obviously, he has to work to make money,’ the source added.

Another insider noted the split happened recently and that they are ‘just focusing 100%’ on their daughter. ‘Working out the best co-parenting solution is their top priority.’

Despite the split, both the actor and Hewitt are ‘working on things,’ a source told People in an article published on Friday.

‘They want one another to succeed and be happy. There have been points where they’ve split and have gotten back together.’

However, the insider added that it is not clear if the two stars will reunite or rekindle their romance in the future.

Hewitt and Davidson’s baby girl Scottie Rose was born late last year shortly before the Christmas holiday.
