Jessica Blair Herman, a member of the “Euphoria” cast, has addressed and dismissed the persistent rumors of a feud between co-stars Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney.
During a recent appearance on “Good Day New York,” Herman, who plays a neighbor to the characters of Sydney and Jacob Elordi in the upcoming third season, assured audiences that there is harmony on set.
“Truly, everyone got along well,” she stated. “And I’m not just saying that to be diplomatic.”
Herman stressed the absence of any on-set conflict, noting, “There’s genuinely no drama. The team has cultivated a wonderful working relationship where everyone is eager to come in and do their job effectively.”
She also defended Zendaya, who plays Rue, and Sweeney, known for her role as Cassie, pointing out that they seldom share scenes together, which might contribute to the unfounded speculation.
“To be fair, when I was there, they’re not sharing scenes,” she continued. “Their storylines are very separate, you’re shooting on different days and stuff.”
Herman clarified Zendaya, 29, and Sweeney’s current standing after the Sun published a scathing report alleging that the co-stars didn’t get along.
“There will be a sigh of relief when ‘Euphoria’ is over and they can go their separate ways,” an insider told the outlet. “But they both have decades left in Hollywood and this rivalry will inevitably run and run.”
At the time, the duo also sparked feud rumors after Sweeney, 28, was missing from a “Euphoria” cast snap for the current season.
However, a source told Page Six that Sweeney was filming a scene when the shoot occurred.
Additionally, a separate source insisted there was no bad blood between the actresses, telling us, “They’re both in high demand and working continuously.”
Zendaya, who recently promoted her A24 film “The Drama,” has three other movies coming out this year, including “The Odyssey, “Dune: Part Three” and “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”
As for Sweeney, she spent the last few months of 2025 promoting her thriller “The Housemaid.”
The “White Lotus” alum also recently launched her own lingerie brand, SYRN.
Season 3 of “Euphoria” airs on HBO Max Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.
