Forbes Sics San Francisco Building Inspectors on Elon Musk's Twitter for Letting Employees Sleep at the Office

According to an explosive expose in Forbes, San Francisco building inspectors are launching an investigation of Twitter’s headquarters amid allegations that Elon Musk has had some rooms fitted out as sleeping quarters for employees.

Elon Musk’s “extremely hardcore” vision for Twitter seems to have manifested itself in sad little conference-room sleeping quarters at the company’s recently depopulated headquarters.
On Monday, employees returning to work at the company’s San Francisco location were greeted by modest bedrooms featuring unmade mattresses, drab curtains and giant conference-room telepresence monitors — a significant upgrade over the Therm-a-Rest+sleeping bag situation showcased by one Twitter employee in November. One room even has a plant.
A photo of one converted bedroom shared with Forbes showed bright orange carpeting, a wooden bedside table and what appears to be a queen bed, replete with a table lamp and two office armchairs just begging for convivial workplace collaboration.
One source said that no announcement or context was provided to employees, and presumed that the beds are for remaining “hardcore” staffers to be able to stay overnight at the office. “It’s not a good look,” they said. “It’s yet another unspoken sign of disrespect. There is no discussion. Just like, beds showed up.”
Last month, CEO Elon Musk gave the thousands of employees that remained with the company the opportunity to leave or remain on the condition that they work intensely under the so-called “Twitter 2.0.” Since he took over as owner and CEO, Musk has fired at least half of Twitter’s employees, and more have left of their own volition.
It is not clear how many such bedroom pods exist, but the source, whose identity Forbes is withholding over fear of reprisal, speculated that there were maybe “four to eight per floor,” adding “they look comfortable

This garbage reporting apparently tingled the Spidey-senses of the bureaucrats in a city that can’t be bothered with open-air drug markets and slum housing.

What’s missing from this article is any discussion of how letting employees crash in office space would violate building codes; the “reporters” relied exclusively on terminated and otherwise disgruntled Twitter employees for the information. Be that as it may, this is a vision of Musk’s future if he remains in California. He has become worse than a conservative; he’s an apostate. For a very long time, he is someone the left considered one of their own.

As we’ve seen from the fate of the Trump Organization and the National Rifle Association, which stupidly chose to retain their business links to New York, the next step for Musk’s Twitter will be investigations for tax fraud, unfair labor practices, and all manner of imagined wrongdoing. Anything the left can generate to cause Musk inconvenience or embarrassment, like having the janitors at Twitter go on strike, will be done.

He needs to move Twitter out of the Third World sh**hole that is San Francisco. Not only would Twitter’s overhead go down, but the only employees who would relocate would also be true believers in Musk and Twitter. The leftwing, magenta-haired trash hanging on to talk smack about their employer to similarly situated “business” reporters would not move. Twitter would be a stronger and more cohesive company, and Musk would deprive San Francisco of revenue, making the nation much safer. That is what is known as a “twofer.”
