Woman clinging to teddy bear rescued from drainage hole in Los Angeles

In the early hours of Wednesday, a woman was found clutching a teddy bear after becoming trapped eight feet down a drainage hole in Los Angeles’ Harbor Gateway neighborhood. Rescue teams were called to the scene to ensure her safe extraction.

The Los Angeles Fire Department reported that they received the alert shortly before 3 a.m. regarding the incident on the 1300 block of West 190th Street.

Upon arrival, firefighters and an Urban Search and Rescue team discovered the woman, believed to be around 40 years old, stuck at the bottom of the hole.
