The pursuit was set in motion at approximately 7:15 a.m. According to police, officers from the Santa Monica Police Department had attempted to detain the driver of a black Range Rover. This individual was allegedly linked to a road rage incident that took place a few weeks prior.
The chase intensified as the driver veered off the freeway and navigated through Koreatown, recklessly speeding through local streets. At several points, the driver crossed into oncoming traffic lanes, putting numerous morning commuters at risk in a heart-pounding journey across Los Angeles.
