Joe Rogan rips Bill Clinton saying someone is being 'protected' after Epstein drop

Podcast powerhouse Joe Rogan recently ridiculed former President Bill Clinton’s appeal for transparency regarding the Jeffrey Epstein files. This reaction came after images emerged showing Clinton in friendly interactions with Epstein, the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender.

During a Tuesday episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Rogan and fellow comedian Tom Segura delved into the topic of the Epstein files’ release. They were quick to highlight and mock the irony in Clinton’s call for disclosure, given his previously documented connections to Epstein.

Clinton, now 79, relayed a statement through his representative, Angel Ureña, in which he criticized the Department of Justice’s handling of the files. “The manner and content of the release suggest that some person or entity is being shielded,” Clinton noted.

“We remain in the dark about who or what is being protected, but it’s clear that such protection is unnecessary,” he added.

Upon hearing Clinton’s comments, Rogan seized the opportunity to humorously critique the notion of “no such protection” in Clinton’s statement.

“This is like the killer pretending to be the detective,” the UFC commentator quipped. “‘We have got to solve this crime. We do not know who!’”

“This is the killer joining the search party,” Segura replied.

Rogan pointed out the newly released photo of Clinton in the hot tub with a mystery woman from the files.

“We got photos of you in a hot tub, buddy,” the podcaster joked.

He then speculated that Clinton’s statement hinted that “a deal was made” with the government and former president to shield him from the Epstein files’ release.

“If you release a press release like that, it means the call went well,” Rogan claimed. “You got a deal in. ‘Whew, we’re good! All we have to do is let him run for a third term.’”

Rogan went on to suggest that the lengthy delay in releasing the highly anticipated files — which he said were “promised multiple times” — could indicate they were altered or generated using artificial intelligence.

“Doesn’t it seem like you could throw all of that into AI at this stage in the game and just redact the names of the victims and let’s go?” he questioned. “It seems like that would take five minutes.”

The DOJ released the trove of files on Friday under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which President Trump signed into law on Nov. 19.

Included in the records were photos showing Clinton half-naked in a hot tub with an unidentified woman and swimming alongside her, and convicted Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

He was also snapped wrapping his arm around an unidentified woman on a plane — and pictured hanging out with Epstein during trips to the UK, Brunei and Thailand.

Another photo shows Clinton and Epstein among their inner circle at a dinner attended by Rolling Stones frontman, Sir Mick Jagger.

The 42nd commander in chief has long denied any wrongdoing linked to Epstein.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) has issued subpoenas to Bill and Hillary Clinton for depositions on Jan. 13 and 14, respectively, to testify about their relationships with Epstein.
