PLYMOUTH, Mass. — Lindsay Clancy’s world crumbled after the arrival of her third child, as her mental health took a dramatic nosedive.
Struggling with sleeplessness, manic episodes, and harmful thoughts, she reached out to specialists in postpartum mood disruptions, and was prescribed various psychiatric drugs. When these measures failed, she admitted herself to a mental health institution.
Less than three weeks after returning home, she tragically ended the lives of her children within their Massachusetts residence.
