No arrests have been made.

It was at the Caroline Village Apartments where DeVoe was killed last November. His family now going day-by-day without answers. And someone out there is going on with their life not being held accountable for this crime. It’s something DeVoe’s mother, Rose, said she won’t stand for. She said someone at the complex knows something.

“Those of you who reside or resided in this complex. My son was shot multiple times near your front door and was left on the curb to die and they didn’t think twice about it. If you were there visiting and witnessed something or know something, anyone with information, my son’s blood is calling for justice from the pavement,” Rose DeVoe said.

DeVoe meant the world to his family, which includes Morning Show Anchor and his cousin Amanda DeVoe. He was taken and they don’t know why.

In front of the Justice Coalition on Wednesday, Gabriel DeVoe’s tribe, held signs and chanted as the reward for information in the case increased.

Their lives will never be the same.

His mother Rose spoke emotionally, but firmly.

“The senseless murders must stop,” she said. “Whose son or daughter is next? I submit to you. I am here with Gabriel’s tribe. My son kissed my right cheek told me he’d be back and I never saw him again. We’ve got to stop sitting back spectating by praying that our sons and daughters will come home safely. We got to put action behind that prayer and speak up, get involved and fight for the lives of our children. They deserve it. They have a right to walk out of the door without us worrying if they’ll walk back in. That person took everything from Gabriel, and he took our Gabriel, our everything from us. But we know this. This is not the end of Gabriel’s story, because you won’t let it be, you will speak up, that justice is served.”
