The McRib, a fan-favorite from McDonald’s, is making a much-anticipated comeback at select locations—but only for a limited time.
Starting Tuesday, November 11, this iconic barbecue sandwich will be available at certain restaurants, as confirmed by Axios.
Guillaume Huin, McDonald’s senior marketing director, announced on X, “The legendary McRib returns 11/11 at most McDonald’s in the US.”
He added, “It is our most-mentioned limited-time product online, surpassing even some of our staple menu items, especially on X.”
This year, the McRib can be enjoyed in cities like Miami, Dallas, Cleveland, St. Louis, Atlanta, Chicago, Seattle, and Los Angeles.
People can already order the cult-favorite sandwich on the mobile app in certain parts of the country.
Fans have also been using a fan-run McRib Locator tool to track any sightings that people may have missed.
The website also crowdsources prices nationwide and encourages customers to upload their receipts to confirm purchase and pricing.
The cost of the McRib varies by location. Axios found the sandwich for $5.49 at a McDonald’s in Atlanta, $6.89 at a San Francisco location, and $6.99 at a Seattle location.
Huin noted on X that there’s been a new home for the McRib in the trading and crypto community, “funnily enough and entirely independent of McDonald’s involvement.”
Some allegedly claim that Bitcoin and the S&P500 tend to perform well after a McRib comeback, particularly in 2017, 2020 and 2021.
As Huin noted, when the McRib returned in December 2024, Bitcoin hit a new all-time high.
