A Montreal airport worker sustained severe injuries after an unfortunate accident involving a plane during its pushback phase, as reported by various sources.
The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, reportedly tripped and was hit by an Airbus A350 operated by French Bee, slated for a Paris departure on Monday night, according to Radio Canada.
An eyewitness recounted that the individual ended up beneath the aircraft while it was moving.
“Many travelers were screaming,” she revealed to Radio Canada.
After the incident, the injured signaller was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, according to police in Montreal, who have chosen not to disclose additional details at this time.

Emergency service vehicles surrounded the plane in the aftermath of the accident.
The flight, operated by the French low-cost carrier, was supposed to leave Montreal-Trudeau airport at 6 p.m. local time but it did not take off until after midnight Tuesday.
It’s set to land at Paris’ Orly airport just after 1 p.m. French time.
“The precise circumstances of the incident have not yet been established,” a French Bee spokesperson said Monday, confirming the accident happened.
“French Bee is cooperating fully with Canadian authorities and the various parties involved to help establish the facts.
“The airline’s immediate priority is caring for those affected by the incident and supporting its passengers and crew.”
