Nicole Scherzinger has revealed that she suffered a painful burn after boiling water was spilled over her leg shortly before she was due to perform in Germany on Saturday.
The 48-year-old Pussycat Dolls singer shared a photograph showing the burns and blisters on Sunday, one day after the incident.
Despite the injury, Nicole was determined to continue with the tour, insisting that “the show must go on.”
The NHS advises anyone who suffers a burn to cool it immediately under cool running water for 20 minutes. Tight clothing or jewellery near the affected area should also be removed before swelling develops.
“Nothing like boiling water falling on your leg an hour before your set – but the show must go on,” she wrote.
“Thanks Düsseldorf for keeping me going. See you soon Amsterdam.”

Nicole’s band, The Pussycat Dolls, announced their comeback in March alongside their first single in six years, Club Song, which was produced and co-written by Mike Sabath.
However, the group was forced to cancel the entire US leg of its comeback tour last month after disappointing ticket sales.
Ashley Roberts, Nicole and Kimberly Wyatt had initially announced a 53-date reunion tour across the UK, Europe and North America.
The band later scrapped the 33 dates planned for the US and Canada after poor sales reportedly left arenas 80 per cent empty.
Organisers had reduced ticket prices to as little as $30, but still cancelled the shows just one month before the opening concert was scheduled to take place in Palm Desert, California, on June 5.
In a statement shared on Instagram, the band wrote: “When we announced the PCD FOREVER Tour, we hoped to bring the show to fans across the world.
“After taking an honest look at the North American run, we’ve made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to cancel all but one of the North America dates.
“Our UK and European dates are still moving forward as planned, and the response has been incredible, with several shows already sold out,” they continued.
“We are putting everything into making this show a true celebration of the music and the memories, for the fans who have been with us from the beginning and those discovering us for the first time.

The trio began the tour in Copenhagen in September before travelling to perform in Paris, Warsaw and across the UK.
Those who bought tickets from Ticketmaster or AXS were informed they would receive a full refund automatically, while those who bought theirs from third-party resellers have been advised to contact their point of purchase.
The Pussycat Dolls’ comeback has been marred in controversy since it was first announced due to the exclusion of three of the group’s founding members, Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta and Melody Thornton.
Carmit and Jessica have since revealed they were both blindsided by the reunion and were never even asked to take part, with the latter going as far as to call it a ‘cash grab’.
Asked by a fan if she was going to meet up with the rest of the Pussycat Dolls, Jessica replied: ‘No, I’m not. They have been planning it for a year and blatantly didn’t ask Carmit and I.
‘We are finding it all out the same time as you are. I was not contacted regarding the group’s decision to move forward, and I learned of these plans at the same time as the public.’
Carmit went on to call the trio’s move ‘disappointing on a personal level’ but added that she remains ‘proud of the role I played in helping shape what The Pussycat Dolls became’.
‘My intention in sharing this is not to create division, but to honor the truth and the fans who have supported us throughout the years,’ she continued. ‘Transparency and respect are values I hold deeply. At this time, I am choosing to focus on my wellbeing and to move forward with positivity and purpose.’
