HOLLYWOOD, Florida (AP) — On Monday, rapper Offset of the group Migos was involved in a shooting incident and is now in a stable condition, as confirmed by his spokesperson. However, further details on his health have not been disclosed.

Offset is currently receiving medical care at a hospital where he is under close observation, according to a statement from his representative.

The rapper, known for his previous marriage to fellow artist Cardi B, shares three children with her.

The Seminole Police Department reported that an individual suffered non-life-threatening injuries on Monday evening near the valet area outside the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida. The authorities have not confirmed the identity of the injured party.

Police have detained two individuals as part of their ongoing investigation into the incident, as stated by the department.

“The site is secure and there is no threat to the public,” according to the police department. “Operations continue as normal.”

Offset’s cousin Takeoff, another member of Migos, was shot dead in 2022.

The trio, with its rapid-fire triplet flow, became known as one of the most popular hip-hop groups of all time. It broke out with the 2013 hit “Versace” and later earned Grammy nominations for best rap album with 2018’s “Culture,” while a track off it nabbed a nod for best rap performance.

Offset and Cardi B were secretly wed in September 2017 in Atlanta. In 2024, Cardi B announced that she filed for divorce.
