Rosie O’Donnell can’t even believe her own transformation.
Rosie O’Donnell, the former co-host of “The View,” recently revealed a photo showcasing her significant weight loss journey with Mounjaro, a type 2 diabetes drug she had been taking for over two years.
“i cant believe this is me now,” the comedian captioned a slimmed-down photo of herself on Instagram Friday.
The snap appeared to show O’Donnell, 63, onstage as she was seen holding a microphone.
In January 2023, the “A League of Their Own” actress shared her first encounter with Mounjaro, which was prescribed to her two months earlier to help manage her diabetes.
“Christmas, I stopped drinking anything except water,” she said at the time, revealing she had already shed 10 pounds.
“I really stopped drinking like five or six Diet Cokes a day,” she added. “All I drink is water now. And I’m not eating sugar as much as I can.”
O’Donnell gave an update on her health journey in March after moving to Ireland with her child Clay following President Trump’s election.
“I’ve lost more weight here,” the former talk show host said in a TikTok video.
While she mostly credited Mounjaro for her physical transformation, she also revealed another major lifestyle change.
“I don’t have a chef now. It’s me cooking for Clay and me,” O’Donnell said.
The “Harriet the Spy” actress admitted she’s “always had a weight issue” as she discussed shopping for new clothes at a boutique in Dublin.
Expressing her astonishment at the transformation, O’Donnell mentioned how she had transitioned from wearing XL or XXL sizes to now comfortably fitting into a size large, highlighting the significant change in her wardrobe from exclusively wearing elastic pants for years.
But she said she feels “healthier” overall and has been “sleeping better.”
The “Rosie O’Donnell Show” alum been open about her weight struggles throughout her career.
After suffering a heart attack in 2012, O’Donnell underwent vertical sleeve gastric surgery the following year.
“That surgery changed my life,” she told People in 2015, revealing she dropped from 240 pounds down to 176.
