A tragic incident unfolded Wednesday evening when a security guard was shot and killed outside a Houston restaurant following a dispute, according to local authorities.
The shooting occurred at approximately 6:15 p.m. in the parking lot of Connie’s Seafood Market Restaurant, as reported by the Houston Police Department.
Officials on the scene detailed that the security guard, employed by the restaurant, became involved in an altercation with another individual. This confrontation quickly escalated, leading to the tragic outcome, as covered by FOX26 Houston.
The security guard sustained at least one gunshot wound and was immediately transported to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
