A woman from New Hampshire is facing charges of child endangerment and witness tampering after her daughter consumed a THC gummy and subsequently tested positive for cannabinoids and cocaine, authorities report.
The situation led to a police inquiry after the state’s Division for Children, Youth, and Families alerted the Nashua Police Department on November 3.
As detailed in a statement from the Nashua Police Department, investigators discovered that the 6-year-old had been admitted to the hospital after consuming the gummy. It was also alleged that her mother instructed a witness to withhold cooperation with the authorities.

The Nashua Police Department apprehended Goulet and officially filed charges against her.
The statement further explained, “While at the hospital, the young victim tested positive for illegal substances, including cannabinoids and cocaine.”
“Detectives learned that Goulet had told a witness not to cooperate with the police investigation, and detectives determined that Goulet had neglected her duty to care for her juvenile daughter.
