Someone was discovered dead in Central Park on Wednesday night. The police might have to use his tattoos to figure out who he is, according to police and sources.

The man, whose identity is unknown but is thought to be around 40 years old, was found unconscious just before 6 p.m. at East Drive and East 109th Street in the famous park, as reported by officials and sources in law enforcement.

Responding EMS workers rushed him to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

There were no visible signs of trauma on his body, according to police.

He didn’t have an ID on him and will most likely be identified through his tattoos, according to the sources.

Authorities stated that they are looking into the events that led to his death, and the official cause will be determined by the city’s medical examiner’s office, the police mentioned.
