A tragic incident has unfolded in a neighborhood near Walt Disney World, where a Florida man now faces murder charges after three tourists were discovered dead. The scene of the crime, located in the Indian Point subdivision near Kissimmee, is a mere eight miles from the iconic theme park.

According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, the grim discovery was made around midday on Saturday. Deputies responded swiftly to reports of a shooting, only to find three men shot to death in front of a residence.

During a press briefing on Sunday, Sheriff Christopher Blackmon revealed that the victims were tourists lodged at a nearby rental property. He explained that they were part of a group initially comprising four men; however, one of their companions had departed the day before the incident occurred.

The suspect in this case lived next door to the rental property, adding a layer of proximity to the distressing events that have left a community reeling and investigators piecing together the details of what led to this tragic loss of life.

During a news conference on Sunday, Osceola County Sheriff Christopher Blackmon said the three men were tourists who were staying at a rental property. He added that there was originally a group of four men, but one had left the day before.

Blackmon identified the victims as:

  • 70-year-old Robert Lewis Kraft from Holland, Michigan
  • 68-year-old Douglas Joseph Kraft from Columbus, Ohio
  • 69-year-old James John Puchan from Columbus, Ohio

According to the sheriff, Robert and Douglas are brothers, and Douglas’ twin is the man who left the home the day prior.

OCSO later detained and arrested the suspect, 29-year-old Ahmad Jihad Bojeh, at his home nextdoor to the rental property. He was booked into the Osceola County Jail on three counts of murder.

Blackmon said two weapons were found in Bojeh’s home. Detectives are working to find out if either of them was used in the murders.

The sheriff said the murders appear to be random but that the investigation is just in the beginning stages.

“I can tell you he was a threat to the neighborhood all the time. We had a lot of calls for service on this person in that area, so he was a known person, a frequent flier to the sheriff’s office,” Blackmon said of the suspect.
