A tragic incident unfolded at a New Jersey healthcare facility where a nurse was fatally shot in what authorities are calling a murder-suicide. The suspect, identified as her estranged husband, allegedly ambushed her at her workplace.
According to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, Brandon Alexander, aged 35, targeted his wife, Victoria Alexander, who was 38 and worked as a nurse at the Excelcare Rehabilitation Facility in Egg Harbor Township. The attack occurred around 6 a.m. on a Monday morning.
Investigators reported that Brandon Alexander trapped his wife’s car in the parking lot as she arrived for her shift. He entered her vehicle and left two suicide notes on the dashboard.
Authorities revealed that when a food delivery driver asked Brandon to move his car, Victoria took the opportunity to flee, dashing into the facility in an attempt to escape.

The fatal encounter took place at the Excelcare Rehabilitation Facility in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, at approximately 6 a.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026, as reported by FOX29 Philadelphia WTXF.
Her husband, however, followed her inside and shot her multiple times before turning the gun on himself, according to authorities.

Victoria Alexander was pronounced dead at the scene. Brandon Alexander was rushed to a hospital but later died from his injuries, officials said.
