Travis Kelce’s old home is really into his love story with Taylor Swift.
On the day of the Chiefs star tight end’s engagement to the pop icon, the University of Cincinnati—Kelce’s alma mater—celebrated the couple’s big announcement by launching a ticket promotion for upcoming Bearcats football games.
“Write a love story of your own this season at Nippert Stadium,” the school’s athletics account posted on X. They’re offering a limited number of tickets to Northwestern St. and UCF for only $13 each, along with a few season tickets priced at $87.
The number 87 is what Kelce wears on his jersey since he joined the Chiefs as a third-round pick in 2013, while 13 is regarded as Swift’s “lucky number.”
Fittingly, the engagement announcement occurred 13 days after Swift appeared on Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast that he hosts with his brother Jason, a former center of 13 years for the Eagles.
“I love numerology,” she said on the show. “I love math stuff, I love dates. That stuff I find really fun. … Thirteen plus 87 equals 100. That’s numerology.”
On cut day around the NFL, Kelce’s own roster news of sorts dominated the headlines and talking points around the sports world.

Chiefs defensive end Mike Danna was speaking to the media on Tuesday when the news broke and became the first on the team to publicly talk about it.
“When I tell you that was not on my mind, being the first one to talk to you guys about it, that’s shocking to me,” Danna said.

“Great for them and that’s a blessing,” Danna said. “Anytime you find that type of joy, happiness and love, I think that’s a beautiful thing.”
Kelce and Swift went public with the relationship in the fall of 2023 after the 10-time Pro Bowler attempted to court the “You Belong with Me” singer in the summer of that year after attending an Eras Tour concert, after which he complained he did not get to meet her and deliver a friendship bracelet.

“Travis decided to use it as his personal dating app two years ago,” Swift said on “New Heights.”
“Glad it worked.”
