The Yankees ensured they wouldn’t share a miserable chapter with the 1912 Yankees, previously known as the Highlanders, who suffered a 2-19 record against the Sox and were outscored 149-76, ending up 55 games behind the 105-57 Sox. This season, the worst they can achieve is a 2-11 record against them.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Trent Grisham each contributed two home runs, accounting for six of their seven runs, which helped them clinch a win over the Red Sox.
