Leonard met his ex-girlfriend through her brother. When they were in a relationship, Jamie lived with her parents in New Orleans so her parents could look after her daughter and continue her studies.

In 2020, Fournette signed a one-year contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. According to the deal, they will pay him $2,000,000 annually.
