Neomi Neidorff was born in Budapest, Hungary, and grew up listening to classical and opera music. The Hungarian State Opera House was just around the corner from her family’s home.

The Hungarian Revolution of 1956 forced Neomi’s family to flee Hungary. As a result, her family relocated to New Jersey. She moved on to the Manhattan School of Music for her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and she currently serves on the executive committee.
