Ketura Wilson was the victim of the Oak Forest shooting earlier this week; she died in a hospital after suffering injuries as a result of the shooting.
During their usual Sunday grocery run, shoppers at Food 4 Less in Oak Forest witnessed an unforgettable moment: a deadly shootout between the police and Ketura Wilson.
According to ABC 7, Wilson was t-boned by another motorist who pulled out of a parking lot, she was then seen getting off her car with her gun drawn by another motorist Josh Graham who was quick to alert the police. Graham said Wilson looked right into his face.

Oak Forest shooting victim Ketura Wilson was a native of Calumet City.
She was t-boned by another motorist pulling out of a subway parking lot. The t-bone accident escalated quickly.
According to NCB Chicago, a witness saw Ketura walking out of her car with her weapon drawn. He quickly informed the local police department about the situation.
Wilson’s first encounter with police was at a strip mall on the 6000-block of 159th Street just before 11 a.m. Sunday.
Authorities quickly responded to the scene with their taser drawn, they were trying to apprehend Ketura for a mental evaluation but Wilson fled the scene.
She ended up in a Food 4 Less parking lot and multiple shots were fired, she was injured along with an unnamed police officer. Both were taken to the hospital but Ketura could not survive. The police officer is still serious but stable as of writing this article.

Ketura Wilson’s actual age was just 21 years old when she died recently.
She lost her life very young after being engaged in a shootout with police at Food 4 Less parking lot.

Has The Oak Forest Shooting Suspected Been Arrested?
Oak Forest shooting is being investigated by Illinois State Police Public Integrity Task Force according to NCB Chicago.
They have not made any arrests yet and the case is being investigated by the Oak Forest police department as well.
