## Unveiling Tik Tok Automation

Curious about what TikTok automation entails? Let me share my discovery. While casually scrolling through TikTok, I stumbled upon an account that specializes in uploading spiritual videos. At first glance, it may seem ordinary, but trust me, there’s more than meets the eye. This account, in my confident estimation, consistently rakes in hundreds of dollars. How is this possible? The answers will unfold as we progress in this video. First, let’s delve into Invideo AI, the tool that will drive this business and streamline the video creation process.

## Invideo AI: Your Creative Ally

So, what exactly is Invideo AI? Picture this – create a YouTube short narrating the incredible journey of space exploration. Make it epic, using a deep Australian male voiceover. In 1957, our cosmic sojourn began with the Soviet satellite Sputnik breaching our atmosphere. Invideo AI functions similarly, turning your ideas into visually stunning videos with just a simple prompt. But hold on, there’s more to it. Add subtitles, tweak the music volume, or switch the voiceover to a British female voice – all with a few words. The possibilities are astounding, and we’ve only scratched the surface. Stay tuned, as I’ll guide you through starting a TikTok automation business using this powerful tool.

### Getting Started with Invideo AI

To access Invideo AI, follow the link in the description. Create a free account, and you’ll land on a user-friendly dashboard. The central element is a text box where you input prompts. For a basic start, you can type something like “Create a 2-minute video about cats,” and Invideo AI takes care of script planning, voiceover, and video creation.

However, for professional-quality videos, a more detailed prompt is key. As you continue watching, I’ll share my prompt formula for optimal results. In the dropdown menu, select a workflow – YouTube Shorts, YouTube Explainer, recent events video, or script to video. Each requires specific information, essential for understanding the Tik Tok automation business we’ll explore later.

## Crafting Engaging Videos: A Step-by-Step Guide

Let’s consider creating a YouTube explainer, an excellent choice for a faceless YouTube channel. Specify the video duration (e.g., 10 minutes) and provide detailed information about the video. For instance, create a video about “Nine Crazy Facts About Cats.” Be creative in defining the overall look – start with a captivating fact, ensure humor, engagement, and dynamism, and end with a question for audience interaction.

Customization continues with background music and voiceover settings. Select the music type, gender, and accent for the voiceover. Subtitles are optional but add a layer of engagement. After hitting ‘Continue,’ the magic begins as Invideo AI transforms your detailed prompt into a video. Want to customize further? Invideo AI allows you to tweak various elements, from audience selection to the video’s look and feel.

### Editing Made Easy

Not satisfied with a specific part? Invideo AI simplifies edits. Use the text box underneath the video to request changes or click ‘Edit’ for more comprehensive options. You can modify media, script, or even export to the timeline for detailed edits and full customization (currently in the alpha stage).

## Elevate Your Videos: Paid Plans and Advanced Features

While Invideo AI offers a free option, upgrading to a paid plan (starting at $20 a month) unlocks a range of features crucial for serious video creation and the TikTok automation business. Unlimited exports, high-resolution videos, and access to premium footage – these elements enhance the quality of your content.

## Viral Content Creation: Recent Events Video Workflow

Invideo AI’s recent events video workflow adds another layer to your content creation arsenal. Use an article link as a reference, and within minutes, you have a trending video. Explore the world of artificial intelligence or any niche that aligns with trending topics.

## The TikTok Automation Business Model

Now, the big question – how does the TikTok account, seemingly simple yet monetarily successful, operate? The answer lies in affiliate product promotion. By examining the account’s bio, we find links to popular ClickBank products like Soulmate Sketch and Wealth DNA Code. With multiple accounts in the same niche, they consistently promote these products in their videos, some of which have garnered millions of views. The simplicity of the videos is the key, but I’ll show you how to leverage Invideo AI for even better results.

### Getting Started with TikTok Automation

Drama Unleashed: Kyle Richards Calls Out Amanda’s Book Release, Slams Dorit’s Disregard for Cast

Kyle Richards recently took aim at Amanda Frances and Dorit Kemsley following the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

RHOBH's Kyle Richards Shades Timing of Amanda's New Book as "Opportunistic,” Calls Out Dorit for Lateness and Says She "Doesn't Give a Sh*t" About Cast’s Time as Dorit Defends Herself

Credit: Eric Kowalsky / MEGA, Bravo, Instagram

Richards criticized Dorit, 49, for her habitual tardiness, as fellow cast members rallied around her during her tumultuous separation from Paul “PK” Kemsley, 58. At the same time, Kyle accused Amanda, 41, of leveraging her new book’s release to coincide with the airing of season 15, implying it was a strategic move.

“It felt very opportunistic, and that was off-putting,” Kyle, 57, expressed during the March 12 episode of the RHOBH: After Show.

In response, Amanda shared her perspective, revealing that she initially drafted the book while expecting her children, Canaan and Zion. She delayed its completion to focus on her family responsibilities.

Meanwhile, Amanda explained herself, noting that after first drafting the publication while pregnant with Canaan and Zion, she put off finishing it due to her familial duties.

“Next thing I know, I have four children and two toddlers, and I just kept putting it off. My team would often say to me, ‘The world needs the book,’ or ‘People are ready for the book,’ or ‘Your audience is asking for the book,’ because my audience, my people, have known about this since I outlined it,” she shared.

Amanda then said that the RHOBH cast played a role in her decision to get back to it.

“Had the group not brought it up, it may have taken me longer. Maybe a couple more years,” she noted. “But it’s so good. It starts with me leaving the cult, driving down A1A, Beach Boulevard, running away, betraying everything, abandoning everything besides myself, and then we get to tell my story.”

“It’s a relationship with God book. Like how my first book is a relationship with money book,” she added.

During another segment of the After Show, Kyle blasted Dorit for disregarding the cast’s time.

“I really don’t think that she cares that we’re waiting. When you’re leaving people an hour and a half, two hours, you don’t give a sh*t about someone else’s time,” she stated. “I don’t know what’s worse: Just owning it and saying I’m late, too bad, or coming up with a different excuse every time.”

“This isn’t a California standard L.A. girl that’s 20 minutes late. This is a kind of lateness I’ve never seen … this is like hours every time we’re together,” Amanda agreed.

But according to Dorit, it wasn’t her fault that she was late.

“My luggage rolled in about 10 minutes before I was supposed to be downstairs,” she revealed. “So everybody had four hours to freshen up, unpack, get ready. I wanted to look good. I wanted to feel good.”

Although Kyle was annoyed, Rachel Zoe, 54, pointed out that Dorit was “not hurting anybody,” and Bozoma Saint John, 49, said Kyle should “relax” since they were “in Italy in a villa.”

Kathy Hilton, 67, also said that she didn’t like to nitpick.

“I’m not gonna make a big deal that this person came three hours late. If they could be there, they would. The only time I got annoyed was when I had been home, and I wanted to go shopping, and I missed the car in Sedona, and so the next car, we had to wait for Dorit, and I didn’t really get to shop,” she shared.

Also on the show, Jennifer Tilly, 67, suspected that Dorit’s lateness was the result of her personal turmoil.

“A lot of times when people are very late, it’s indicative of a breakdown in their personal life, what she’s going through, and you have to give people grace,” she advised.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.

U.S. University in Qatar Remains Silent on October 7th Events, Aiming for Alignment

0

A U.S. university with a campus in Qatar opted against releasing a statement that labeled Hamas’s October 7 attack as “abhorrent and horrific.” This decision came after officials connected to the Qatari government advised American educational institutions in Doha to present a unified front and avoid unexpected statements.

This approach significantly limits the scope for independent responses. Universities are not just issuing statements; they are meticulously planning the timing, content, and presentation of these responses. In critical situations, even a brief message can reveal an institution’s stance on the matter.

The report titled “How Campuses Became Hotbeds: The Rise of Radical Antisemitism on College Campuses” highlights Qatar’s financial relationships with U.S. universities that have campuses in Doha. It includes internal communications that shed light on discussions among university officials.

The language in question arose from an October 17 call that included the Qatar Foundation and university leaders, outlining expectations for the universities’ responses.

Internal emails provide insight into the events at Northwestern’s Qatar campus. As the U.S. campus prepared to address comments made by Northwestern Qatar’s professor Khaled Al-Hroub, who questioned reports of Hamas atrocities, the Doha branch resisted. Subsequently, Northwestern modified its statement from directly condemning the professor’s remarks to broadly denouncing “any attempt” to downplay the attack.

That language emerged from an October 17 call involving the Qatar Foundation and university leaders. It read like something the universities were expected to follow.

The emails also show what happened at Northwestern’s campus in Qatar. As Northwestern’s U.S. campus moved to respond to comments from professor Khaled Al-Hroub, a Northwestern Qatar faculty member who had cast doubt on reports of Hamas atrocities, the Doha campus pushed back. Northwestern later softened its statement, changing it from a direct condemnation of those comments to a broader condemnation of “any attempt” to minimize the attack.

The emails show something more direct.

“The campus also ‘intentionally chose not to circulate’ a university-wide statement calling the attack ‘abhorrent and horrific.’”

The draft itself was not vague. It directly addressed the attack and would have put the campus on record. For faculty who saw it, the expectation was simple. A statement like that would normally go out without much debate, especially given the scale of what had just happened.

A statement condemning the attack existed. It was ready. Leadership chose not to circulate it.

Qatar was not just offering prestige.

New Reports: Gulf States Draw Line, More Countries Now Ready to Counter Iran With Force

Those partnerships are not small. Qatar has spent years investing in American campuses overseas, helping build programs, facilities, and entire academic hubs. That kind of relationship does not disappear when a crisis hits. It sits in the background when decisions get made..

It was writing very large checks. Qatar has become the largest foreign donor to U.S. higher education, with funding to American universities reaching $396 million in 2024 and $1.2 billion in 2025. Universities operating in Doha do so under contracts that require them to follow Qatari law and respect the country’s customs.

These campuses are supposed to stand for open debate and academic freedom. The structure they operate under makes clear there are limits to both.

This does not stop with a single statement. The report points to broader patterns across campus life, including hiring, programming, and how antisemitism complaints were handled after October 7. One finding stands out.

“Campuses with Faculty & Staff for Justice in Palestine chapters were seven times more likely to experience violence against Jewish students.”

Leadership was told to stay aligned. A statement condemning the attack was written. It was never shared.

Zendaya and Tom Holland Star in Heartfelt New Spider-Man Trailer

Tom Holland and Zendaya are set to take on a fresh adventure together.

The beloved couple makes an appearance in the teaser for their forthcoming film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is scheduled to hit the screens on July 31.

In this chapter of the franchise, Holland and Zendaya, who will share the screen with Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, and Tramell Tillman, find themselves spending much of the time apart. This separation is due to Peter Parker’s (played by Holland) decision to erase his existence and memories from those closest to him, including Zendaya’s character, MJ.

Brand New Day marks the fourth film in the Spider-Man series featuring Holland and Zendaya. The duo, who confirmed their relationship in 2021 and are rumored to have recently tied the knot according to Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, will also be seen in Christopher Nolan’s much-anticipated epic, Odyssey, releasing on July 17.

Despite the potential for awkwardness when working with a significant other, Zendaya, known for her role in Euphoria, insists that acting alongside Holland is anything but uneasy.

“On set, he has this huge calming presence that not only puts me at ease but also everybody he works with,” she told Mirror in January. “I might be a little biased but he is not only my favorite person, he is [also] my favorite person to work with.”

Father Charged After Infant Sustains Over 30 Fractures in Shocking Abuse Case

A man from New Hampshire stands accused of inflicting severe harm on his infant son over several weeks, reportedly resulting in 30 bone fractures, including fractures in both legs.

Last week, Drew Babcock was apprehended and charged with eight counts of first-degree assault involving domestic violence. These charges are classified as Class A felonies, as disclosed by authorities.

As per a statement from the Nashua Police Department, on March 13, they received notification from the Department of Children, Youth, and Families about a 3-month-old child who had sustained significant injuries. The Special Investigations Division initiated an inquiry, concluding that Babcock was responsible for harming his son.

Following this, police secured an arrest warrant, leading to Babcock’s capture on Friday. He was detained without the option of bail, awaiting his court appearance in Nashua District Court.

According to court records reviewed by the New Hampshire Union Leader, further details emerged, highlighting the severity of the child’s injuries and Babcock’s conversations with both investigators and family members.

Authorities allege the infant suffered approximately 30 fractures over a two-month period, including breaks to both femurs and his clavicle, as well as other injuries that caused the child’s lungs to fill with fluid.

According to prosecutors, Babcock said the infant was a colicky baby and that the child’s condition would cause Babcock to lose his temper, which is how he allegedly began inflicting injuries on the boy, beginning when he was about 1 month old.

“He admitted that he did this because he lost control and would not stop crying,” Assistant Hillsborough County Attorney Melissa Farr reportedly said during Babcock’s initial hearing, Manchester ABC affiliate WMUR reported.

In a probable cause affidavit, Babcock allegedly told his estranged wife, “I think I did this,” and admitted he squeezed the infant to stop him from crying. Babcock also said he believed he “may have applied too much pressure, but he did not realize that he had broken” the child’s bones.

“He stated that he would use approximately 50% of his strength during this time,” Farr continued. “He admitted that he would conduct these maneuvers on [the victim] about two to three times a week.”

Prosecutors described the allegations as “nothing short of chilling” while arguing for Babcock to be held without bail, citing the severity of the injuries and the vulnerability of the victim.

Defense attorney Joseph Fricano argued for bond, noting Babcock had no prior criminal record and emphasizing his military background, telling the court, “This is a man who is capable of following orders.”

A judge ultimately ordered Babcock held on preventive detention — meaning without bond — after reportedly determining that he posed “a danger to the community.”

High Court Ruling Overturns Monitoring System for Convicted Killer

0
The nation’s top court has struck down curfew and ankle-monitoring restrictions imposed on a murderer in a fresh blow to attempts to place restrictions on ex-immigration detainees.

A citizen of Papua New Guinea has challenged the conditions of his release on a bridging visa, claiming they violated constitutional rights. After his release from detention, he was required to wear a monitoring device continuously and adhere to a nightly curfew, restricting him to a specific location from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The federal government defended these conditions, arguing they were vital for safeguarding the Australian public. This stance was based on the man’s criminal history, which included a murder conviction during his youth and later domestic violence offenses.

However, the High Court, in a majority decision, ruled these conditions invalid. This ruling represents a significant setback for the federal government’s efforts to impose monitoring on individuals released from indefinite immigration detention.

This decision follows a pivotal 2023 High Court ruling that declared indefinite detention unlawful when there is no reasonable chance of deporting the individual from Australia in the near future. In response, the government had instituted this monitoring regime to address the court’s concerns.

The government introduced the monitoring regime after a landmark 2023 ruling by the same court that indefinite detention was illegal if there was no reasonable prospect of the person’s removal from Australia in the foreseeable future.

The decision led to the release of 150 immigration detainees with criminal records, some of whom had convictions for serious offences such as murder and rape.

A number were arrested for allegedly reoffending after their release, sparking fierce public and political backlash.

The government reacted by introducing laws requiring some of the former detainees to wear ankle monitors and abide by a curfew, but those measures were struck down in 2024.

The conditions included a requirement that the man wear a monitoring device. (Supplied)

The High Court ruled the conditions were unconstitutional because they represented a punishment imposed by the government not the judiciary.

The regulations were amended to only apply under circumstances in which a person posed a substantial risk of committing a serious offence and the measures were deemed necessary for community safety.

The PNG man who succeeded in the latest High Court challenge had his visa cancelled in 2024 after being jailed for domestic violence offences.

He was subsequently taken into immigration detention before being released into the community on a bridging visa with curfew and monitoring conditions.

The conditions were still incompatible with Australia’s constitution, the High Court found today.

Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke said people with cancelled visas should leave the country when asked about the decision.

“While obviously the government would have preferred a different outcome, the government’s ambition was never about ankle bracelets,” he said in a statement.

“Fortunately, we now have the agreement with Nauru, because the best thing for people who have had their visa cancelled is to not be in this country.”

Some 43 people who have been on electronic monitoring in the community are expected to be immediately transferred to mandatory reporting conditions, requiring them to check in with authorities at a set time and place.

The cost of the High Court challenge will be paid by the federal government.

Tragic Industrial Accident Claims Employee’s Life as Press Machine Malfunctions

0

Tragedy struck at a Ford facility in Ohio this week when an employee lost his life after being trapped by a faulty industrial machine.

The incident occurred around 9:45 a.m. on Monday at Ford’s Sharonville plant, located on E. Sharon Road. Emergency services were alerted to the scene following reports of an industrial mishap, as detailed by FOX 19.

When authorities arrived, they discovered that a press machine, which was supposed to be undergoing routine maintenance, had malfunctioned. This unexpected activation led to the worker being pinned.

First responders swiftly initiated life-saving efforts after freeing the worker from the machine, eventually transporting him to Bethesda North Hospital.

The worker was later pronounced dead at the hospital, according to FOX 19.

The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office reportedly identified the victim as 61-year-old Gregory Knopf.

“There were multiple witnesses to this incident and it is considered an industrial accident at this time,” Sharonville police said, according to FOX 19.

The incident reportedly remains under investigation by the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Ford Motor Company’s administrative staff.

“A tragic incident today resulted in the death of an employee at Sharonville Transmission Plant,” a Ford spokesperson said in a statement to WCPO.

“We are in contact with the family of the individual and we’re working to support them through this difficult time. Our deepest condolences are with the friends and family of our team member. Counseling services are available for our employees at the plant. Safety is our highest priority and we are investigating the incident. We would also like to thank our community first responders.”

Ford Motor Company and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

Mamdani’s Focus on Islamophobia Sparks Controversy and Debate

0

We can all spare a moment of sympathy for Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Despite the perks of leading one of America’s most iconic cities, residing in a taxpayer-funded mansion, and enjoying widespread media adoration, Mamdani grapples with feelings of “loneliness” and “isolation” due to pervasive Islamophobia.

Last week, he candidly shared the emotional toll this prejudice takes on him, coinciding with a Hezbollah-linked terrorist’s attempt to bomb a synagogue in Michigan and a separate Islamist attack at Old Dominion University. “It’s challenging,” he admitted.

The source of his distress was a tweet from Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.), who shared an image of Mamdani at a City Hall iftar alongside a photo of the 9/11 attacks, ominously captioned, “the enemy is inside the gates.”

Meanwhile, Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Texas) expressed his distaste by describing the City Hall iftar photo as “stomach churning.”

City Councilwoman Vickie Paladino has also voiced similarly harsh sentiments.

Also, some ISIS-inspired terrorists days earlier had thrown bombs near Gracie Mansion, giving the “Islamophobes” yet another pretext to pounce and so feeding the mayor’s aggrieved sense of a world of hatred arrayed against him.

Except that none of Tuberville, Gill or Paladino indicated that having a Muslim as mayor is the problem; the problem is having this mayor.

The “enemy is inside the gates” because Mamdani is a radical socialist whose policies will destroy the city, for starters.

And an apologist for Islamist violence who consistently and offensively uses 9/11 and the Holocaust as metaphors for the trauma that Muslims go through.

And a politician who plays footsy with advocates for violent terror and other hardcore antisemites.

Mamdani invited Mahmoud Khalil, an organizer of the Columbia University protests who lied on his visa application to enter the United States, to dine at Gracie Mansion with their wives, and published an intimate photo of the two couples at table.

Khalil has stated that he will not condemn Hamas as a matter of principle: “It’s very racist to ask a Palestinian this question,” he whined at an event Sunday.

Racist how?

More, he complained: “Claims of antisemitism are being weaponized to silence” brave critics of Israel such as himself.

No wonder Mamdani is so tight with Khalil: They share so much suffering.

Reality check, Mr. Mayor: Nobody has a problem with the million Muslims in New York City who go about their business, meaning and doing no harm.

But no other religion has the same extremism problem, a twisted philosophy used to justify terrorism, including terror attacks against innocents who have nothing to do with grievances about some faraway land.

Mean words, even actual outright bigoted ones, are still just words: Speech is not violence, and violence is not speech.

Please, Mr. Mayor: Stop acting like 9/11 was something bad that happened to Muslims, and quit being cozy with terrorist sympathizers.

It’ll do wonders for your mood.

TSA Employees Endure Unpaid Work Amid Government Shutdown, Passengers Encounter Lengthy Delays

0

At Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, more than a third of the security screeners decided not to show up for work on Tuesday, leading to significant delays for travelers. As reported by the airport’s general manager, some passengers faced wait times of up to two hours.

This week has seen long lines stretching across various airports, as officers from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) continue to work without pay. This situation is impacting the busy spring break travel period, adding stress to an already hectic time.

The issue is not isolated to Atlanta. Last Friday, over half of the TSA employees at William P. Hobby International Airport in Houston called out of work. These workers are part of the 61,000 government employees within the Department of Homeland Security who find themselves caught in a funding deadlock, as Congress remains in a stalemate over the agency’s budget.

Aaron Barker, president of the local chapter of the American Federation of Government Employees union in Atlanta, commented on the situation. “The traveling public has been really nice,” he noted. However, Barker expressed surprise at how many people are unaware that the country is experiencing a government shutdown, impacting services like airport security.

“The traveling public has been really nice,” said Aaron Barker, the local American Federation of Government Employees union president for Atlanta. “What is shocking, though, is a lot of people are unaware that we are in a government shutdown.”

Employees are dealing with “eviction notices, vehicle repossessions, empty refrigerators and overdrawn bank accounts,” he said, while the travelers they serve may not even realize the hardship.

At least 366 transportation security officers have quit since the start of the most recent shutdown, according to DHS.

What workers are dealing with

These workers have been through three lapses in funding resulting in missed pay over the past six months, DHS noted in a news release Tuesday.

Late last year, the longest government shutdown in US history ended after federal workers, including TSA officers and Federal Aviation Administration air traffic controllers, went without pay for 43 days. Some stopped showing up to their jobs to make ends meet elsewhere, disrupting travel.

The workers received their back pay days after the shutdown ended, but for some it took until February to pay off debts, AFGE told CNN.

A brief shutdown happened again in late January and lasted only a few days before Congress funded the department for two weeks. That money ran out in mid-February and DHS employees started missing paychecks again.

“I’ve heard from officers who cannot afford copayments for cancer treatments or office visits for their sick children,” Barker said.

Some airports have started asking travelers to assist the TSA officers. Denver International Airport, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas have requested donations of items, including grocery and gas gift cards, non-perishable food, hygiene products and infant supplies.

The city of Atlanta is providing TSA officers with two meal vouchers per shift and free parking, according to a statement from Mayor Andre Dickens on Monday.

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport had a burger truck deliver food to TSA employees on Tuesday.

At Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, the Anne Arundel County Food Bank delivered boxes of food for the airport’s 600 TSA employees, the food bank said in a statement.

While the support is appreciated, it’s not enough for workers losing thousands of dollars they need to survive right now, said Johnny Jones, the secretary-treasurer of the AFGE council, which represents TSA officers.

“I consider all these things giving Band-Aids to a patient who lost his leg,” he said. “The diagnosis and a treatment is not proper.”

Erik Hansen, the senior vice president and head of government relations for the US Travel Association, has said previous focus groups show travelers aren’t really aware of who pays officers and whether it’s the federal government, airport or airline.

“They see it all as one process, and so when it doesn’t work, they blame everyone,” Hansen said.

TSA employees are among the lowest-paid federal workers

Missing paychecks would hurt any worker, but TSA employees are not among the highest paid government employees.

The agency’s hiring website lists several job openings for officers to provide “security and protection of travelers across all transportation sectors in a courteous and professional manner.”

Most positions start at about $40,000, based in locations like Ithaca, New York; Alexandria, Louisiana; or Dothan, Alabama. In Chicago, the jobs start at $45,000. Positions listed for officers in more remote places like Nome, Alaska, can start around $75,000.

The salaries were increased in 2024 to make the compensation match other workers in the federal government, which the department says increased retention.

Qualifications to be an officer include being at least 18, being a US citizen or national, having a high school diploma or equivalent, and passing a drug screening.

The jobs are not law enforcement positions, but do require at least four to six months of training, including two to three weeks at a TSA Academy.

Any end in sight?

Much like passengers feel at the end of a massive security line, it doesn’t seem an end to the current shutdown is in sight.

Two sources familiar with negotiations told CNN congressional Democrats returned a counteroffer to the White House Monday – nearly 20 days after the administration’s last offer.

The latest proposal did not move the debate in any significant way and negotiators are still relatively locked into their initial positions and demands, one source familiar with the talks warned.

Meanwhile, tensions remain high for airlines and passengers.

In a letter Sunday, the CEOs of major airlines, including American, Delta, Southwest and JetBlue, urged Congress to restore DHS funding and embrace a bipartisan solution to ensure federal aviation workers are paid during shutdowns.

British Influencer Faces Dilemma with Unmarketable Dubai Purchase

0

Expats in Dubai are facing significant property losses as the escalating conflict in the Middle East disrupts the city’s real estate market.

Among those affected is a British influencer who finds himself with a villa he can’t sell, despite investing hundreds of thousands of pounds into its luxurious renovation prior to the outbreak of hostilities.

Sam Gowland, a 30-year-old former star of “Love Island” and “Geordie Shore,” had transitioned from reality TV to establishing a property empire. He quickly reported a multi-million pound turnover and offered to share his strategies for success with his followers.

His most ambitious venture to date involved purchasing a villa for £1.5 million, which he extensively remodeled. He announced its availability on the market just before tensions between the U.S. and Israel against Iran resulted in retaliatory drone strikes on Dubai.

Since then, property transactions in Dubai have plummeted, with local media noting a 51 percent decrease in sales and predicting a 20 percent drop in property values virtually overnight.

Since the war began, the DFM Real Estate Index – which tracks property developers listed on the Dubai Financial Market –  has plunged by 30 per percent, signifying a dramatic reduction in investor confidence in the sector.

Gowland himself has fled the city to escape to the safety of Thailand, one of tens of thousands of Britons to leave in recent weeks.

The saga began in happier times for both Gowland and Dubai when he told followers that he had bought the villa ‘for $2 million’ – or £1.54m.

The four month project to take the existing building and make it more spectacular was, he said, the culmination of ‘years of goal-setting and dreams coming to life, one by one’.

In regular update posts he teased followers with delectable details of the project and told how he was tempted to make it his own permanent home – before finally announcing on February 13 that he was going to sell it and would listen to offers that were over £2 million.

This would mean he had paid off his investment costs and profited by at least £500,000 less however much he spent on the renovation work.

But then the US and Israel’s attack on Iran put Dubai in the firing line of retaliatory strikes – and the wealthy Westerners that Gowland’s extended pitch on social media had been aimed at suddenly stopped coming.

Gowland, from Teeside, described on Instagram how rockets had been flying over his house and he lashed out at trolls who told him they hoped his house would be hit by a missile.

He has now quit the UAE for the safety of Thailand, but it’s unclear whether the proposed sale of his new villa has drawn any interest from prospective buyers in the middle of a war.

A source from the ex-pat community in Dubai said: ‘The timing could not have been worse for Sam. He’s going to struggle to sell the place any time soon – simply no one is buying and they won’t be until this whole war has resolved itself, which could take months or even years.

‘Meanwhile all his money will be tied up in the villa so he won’t be able to realise any liquidity to finance his next development project.

‘I suspect he was hoping to get £2.25 million for it. Now he will struggle to get a lot of what he’s already spent back. It’s devastating.’

At his family home in Thornaby, Teesside, Gowland’s step-mum Joanne told the Daily Mail: ‘I am just glad that he’s now out of there, he’s safe now, he’s in Bangkok.

‘He left Dubai and went to Mauritius and he’s now safe in Bangkok.’

Asked about his property deal, she added: ‘I am not sure whether he’s managed to sell the house in Dubai, he has so much going on that I’m never sure what is on the market and what is not.’

On October 5 last year, Gowland first announced he’d bought his new home but had a major renovation project ahead.

He told his Instagram followers: ‘Proud moment today, just bought and moved into my new $2m home in Dubai. Years of goal setting and dreams coming to life, one by one. One more villa overseas with many more to come.

‘Full villa renovation started today, give it three months and watch how this will look. Grateful for ecom and the freedom to earn from my phone anywhere in the world.’

But by the time February 15 rolled around he was looking to sell up.

He posted: ‘After 4 months stress and deep pockets I’m proud to announce my latest home/villa in Dubai is complete.

‘This time I’ve went for a minimalistic yet timeless design with every room complementing the main focal point of my villa which is the outdoor area.

‘[I’m] humming and arring [sic] over what to do with this one as I’ve become attached to how it looks, haha.

‘10 million AED (£2M GBP) and I’ll open up a conversation with you.’

In a now-deleted video post on March 1, Gowland later lambasted trolls who said they hoped his house would be hit after airstrikes began on neighbouring Iran on February 28.

Speaking in the video, Gowland said: ‘I cannot comprehend at all the tweets and comments about what is going on in Dubai. People are celebrating, saying “Glad I have seen this happen to Dubai in my lifetime” or “I hope your house gets hit”.

‘I have a thick skin, but even from a humanitarian perspective, I cannot believe some of the things I have seen. There are many different reasons why people come here, but to see other human beings wishing ill… read the comments on my Instagram about the post of my house, I am lost for words.’

The video continued, with Gowland urging people online to ‘think’ about those affected.

Gowland said: ‘Why would you wish this on anyone? Being here in Dubai was b***** scary. Please think before you speak. Words fail me sometimes after reading stuff like that.’

Gowland first came to prominence in 2017 as a contestant on Love Island.

In December 2017, five months after the show aired, it was announced he would be joining Geordie Shore for the MTV show’s 16th series.

He remained in Geordie Shore for a further 12 months, starting a feud with fellow cast member Alex MacPherson over advances towards Gowland’s then girlfriend Chloe Ferry.

Since quitting Geordie Shore he has thrown himself into property development overseas, claiming to have built a fortune from nothing.

In a post to mark his 30th birthday last August, he said: ‘Wow, I can’t quite believe how quickly the years have flown by.

‘As I step into the new chapter I’m reflecting on an incredible journey – from starting in my 20s working on building sites, to now standing proudly as a millionaire.

‘Along the way I have had the privilege of appearing on two of the biggest TV shows in the UK, travelling around the world and building houses while creating unforgettable memories and lifelong friendships.’

RBA Raises Interest Rates Amid Governor’s Warning on Inflation’s Recession Risk – Live Updates

During her routine press conference following the Reserve Bank of Australia’s (RBA) latest cash rate decision, Governor Michele Bullock addressed the current state of the economy.

“In the latter half of last year, the economy expanded at a rate surpassing our potential growth expectations. We’ve also observed a slight tightening in the labor market, contrary to our previous predictions of stability. Meanwhile, core inflation remains elevated,” Bullock commented.

She added, “This collection of data indicates that there is marginally more excess demand in the economy than we anticipated in February, leading to somewhat intensified inflationary pressures.”

The economy experienced a 2.6% growth in the December quarter compared to the previous year, significantly exceeding the RBA’s potential growth estimate of 2%.

Core inflation climbed to 3.4% for the year ending in January, up from 3.3% at the close of December 2025. Additionally, the unemployment rate has remained at a historic low of 4.1%.

Bullock said that, while higher energy prices triggered by the war in the Middle East would contribute to inflation, they weren’t the reason behind today’s decision.

“Inflation was already too high, reflecting the fact that demand is outstripping supply. Higher fuel costs will not slow demand enough on their own to address this. If we do not act, these price pressures will spread and the eventual adjustment would be harder.”
