Kim Jong Un Inspects Missile Launches Aboard North Korea’s Latest Destroyer

0

North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong Un, recently oversaw the testing of a cruise missile with nuclear potential and additional weaponry aboard the revamped 5,000-ton destroyer named Kang Kon. This ship had previously been damaged during an unsuccessful launch event last year. State media reported on Sunday that this demonstration reflects Kim’s ongoing efforts to build a nuclear-equipped naval force.

According to the Korean Central News Agency, the event held on Friday featured several key trials, including the firing of a strategic cruise missile, tests of the Kang Kon’s main artillery and automatic cannons, and evaluations of electronic warfare systems. Additionally, the ship’s target detection and data processing capabilities were assessed.

Kim, after monitoring the tests from the coast, instructed his team to finalize the destroyer’s trials and ensure it becomes operational within a two-month timeframe, as relayed by the state media.

These recent exercises follow North Korea’s commissioning of the Choe Hyon, its first 5,000-ton destroyer back in late June. During an elaborate ceremony marking this occasion, Kim affirmed that the progress toward equipping his navy with nuclear capabilities is on track.

While Kim initially concentrated efforts on developing ballistic missiles, there has been a marked shift towards enhancing naval power, including embarking on projects such as building a nuclear-powered submarine.

While outlining his five-year military goals at February’s Workers’ Party congress, Kim also called for intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of underwater launches.

North Korea first unveiled the Choe Hyon in April 2025, which Kim portrayed as a major step toward expanding his military’s operational reach and preemptive strike capabilities.

KCNA has said the warship is equipped with a range of systems, including anti-aircraft and anti-ship weapons as well as nuclear-capable ballistic and cruise missiles.

South Korean officials and experts say the vessel was likely built with Russian assistance amid deepening military ties between the countries, but some analysts have questioned how effective the vessel would be in active service.

The Kang Kon was unveiled a month after the Choe Hyon in May 2025, but it was damaged during a botched launch at the northern port of Chongjin, prompting a furious response from Kim. The country later said the ship was relaunched in June after repairs, but outside experts have questioned whether it’s genuinely ready for active duty.

Kim has also called for building two new 5,000-ton warships annually over the next five years, as well as developing a larger 10,000-ton destroyer.

Renewed Kurdish Insurgency Suspected as Attacks Escalate on Iran’s IRGC

0

Iran’s west, dominated by Kurdish communities, is currently witnessing a surge in violence, casting a spotlight on the enduring Kurdish insurgency that seems to be escalating, amid tentative diplomatic talks between Iran and the United States, according to experts.

The implications of this unrest stretch beyond Iran’s immediate borders. Kurdish opposition factions have recently been perceived as a possible strategic leverage against Iran, linked to the U.S.-Israeli conflict with Tehran. However, some Kurdish leaders now express concern that they might be left vulnerable if Washington and Tehran’s fragile negotiations resume.

Recent incidents underscore the growing unrest, with Iranian security forces suffering casualties across the western and northwestern regions of the country. The Jerusalem Post, referencing Iraq’s Shafaq News, reported that in two separate events on a Tuesday, four members of the Iranian security personnel were killed and several others injured.

In a notable incident, two members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps lost their lives, and two were injured during what Tasnim News described as an “armed terrorist attack” in the border city of Paveh, located in Kermanshah Province.

In Baneh, Iran, gunmen attacked a police checkpoint, killing two police officers and injuring three other people, including a 3-year-old girl, The Jerusalem Post reported. Clashes had spread to Iran’s Paveh, Marivan and Mahabad, the outlet reported, citing Rojhelat.Info, a Kurdish-focused media account.

The Paveh, Iran, attack was claimed by a little-known armed group called Xore Heva, or “Sun of Hope,” which said it carried out the attack in retaliation for Iran’s crackdown on protests sparked by the 2022 death of Kurdish woman Mahsa Amini. The 22-year-old died after being detained by Iran’s morality police for allegedly violating the country’s mandatory hijab rules, The National reported.

The Kurds are one of the largest stateless ethnic groups in the Middle East, with communities spread across Iran, Iraq, Syria and Turkey.

In Iran, many Kurds live in the country’s mountainous west and northwest, where Kurdish opposition groups have long accused Iran of political repression, executions, forced assimilation and military crackdowns.

Iranian authorities, in turn, view armed Kurdish factions as separatist or terrorist threats, especially groups such as PJAK, which has clashed for years with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps along Iran’s western border. The fight is not simply ethnic: It is also political, rooted in Kurdish demands for rights and autonomy, Iran’s fear of separatism and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’s role in suppressing dissent in border regions.

Jino Victoria Doabi, head of international relations at Hiwa, a Kurdish-led human rights organization, told News Media the latest clashes could appear to mark more than isolated exchanges.

“It looks like this could be an escalation,” Doabi said, referring to the spread of reported clashes.

She said the initial attack appeared to be framed by Kurdish forces as retaliation, but argued the geographic spread suggested the confrontation may continue.

Doabi said Kurdish anger is being driven not only by the latest casualties, but by a broader sense that Iran has been able to target Kurdish areas and opposition groups systemically without consequence.

“The Kurdish people in Iran are very dissatisfied that the IRGC can attack Kurdish parties and Kurdish fighters and no one reacts,” Doabi said.

The violence comes as Iran is moving forward with a memorandum of understanding with Washington that has drawn criticism from Iranian opposition circles. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei had approved the U.S.–Iran memorandum after receiving assurances that Iran’s rights would be protected, IranWire reported Tuesday.

Iranian officials have described the deal as having the support of top officials, even as critics inside Iran have attacked negotiators over the arrangement, IranWire also reported.

Doabi said Kurdish parties are deeply skeptical of any memorandum of understanding or negotiated arrangement with Iran, arguing that many Kurds believe such a deal would only strengthen the regime.

“Kurdish parties do not believe that making a deal with this regime can help the people in Iran,” Doabi said. “Their position is that a deal would only strengthen the regime.”

She added that many Kurds in Iran are “very angry” over the idea of any agreement with Iran, citing decades of repression, arrests and killings in Kurdish areas.

“It is going to be very dangerous for people in Iran, and especially in Kurdistan, Azerbaijan and Baluchistan,” Doabi said, “because that is where much of the resistance and activism is.”

The Kurdish groups now under scrutiny include the Party for a Free Life in Kurdistan, known as PJAK, and its armed wing, the East Kurdistan Defense Units, or YRK.

IranWire reported earlier in June that YRK accused Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of launching artillery and mortar attacks against its positions near Marivan, Iran, beginning June 8, prompting what YRK described as a defensive response. Iranian official outlets had not responded to YRK’s casualty claims at the time, according to IranWire.

That regional sensitivity was on display earlier in 2026, when reports emerged that Kurdish opposition groups could open a front against Iran during the U.S.–Israeli war with Iran.

Israel had been backing plans by Iranian Kurdish militias to seize border areas inside Iran, Reuters reported in March, though the outlet said the fighters would likely need U.S. and Israeli backing to make a significant move. Five long-standing Iranian dissident groups, including PJAK, the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Freedom Party, had formed an alliance, Reuters also reported.

During the war, Trump told Reuters that he would be “all for it” if the Kurds wanted to move against Iran and said their objective should be “to win.” But Reuters reported that Kurdish commanders were frustrated by a lack of clear U.S. or Israeli strategy and that Iran’s threats helped keep Kurdish forces from launching an incursion.

Regional reports later claimed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan persuaded Trump to abandon a plan to arm Iranian opposition groups and Iraqi Kurdish groups against Tehran. Israeli media reported June 6 that Erdogan pressed Trump to scrap the proposal after details were allegedly leaked to Turkey by White House officials.

The latest violence does not prove that a coordinated insurgency is underway. But the reported spread of clashes across multiple Kurdish areas, the involvement claimed by Kurdish militant factions and Kurdish opposition to ongoing U.S.–Iran talks suggest that Iran’s western borderlands could become a new pressure point for Tehran at a moment when the regime is trying to preserve both internal control and fragile diplomatic momentum.

News Media has reached out to Iranian officials and Kurdish representatives for comment.

Urgent Alert for Free-Range Chicken Owners: Keep Your Hens Indoors to Prevent Bird Flu Spread

0

Poultry farmers are being urged to temporarily shelter free-range hens as authorities confront a rising bird flu threat.

The alarm was raised when a suspected case of the deadly H5N1 strain was found in a migratory bird in New South Wales, signaling that the virus may have reached the east coast. Previously, five cases had already been confirmed in Western Australia and South Australia.

Adding to the concerns, another potential case cropped up on Friday in a migratory bird located in Mullaloo, a northern suburb of Perth.

Given these developments, Australia’s technical body responsible for animal health emergencies has recommended that commercial poultry producers consider keeping free-range birds inside temporarily. This precaution is advised for the forthcoming two weeks while the extent of the biosecurity threat is evaluated.

Sam Hamilton, acting chair of the Consultative Committee on Emergency Animal Diseases, emphasized that farmers should ensure that any measures to house hens indoors are practical and do not compromise animal welfare.

Dr Hamilton, Australia’s acting chief veterinary officer, said it would be up to states and territories to endorse the body’s non-mandatory recommendation.

“There have only been detections in migratory seabirds that occasionally visit Australia,” he said after the emergency animal diseases committee met on Friday.

“There remains no evidence of any mass mortality events and there are no detections in poultry or in our agricultural production system.

“The risk to human health remains low.”

Careful surveillance and testing crucial

Burnet Institute scientific director for research translation Heidi Drummer said the suspected case in Hawks Nest, on the NSW Mid-North Coast, was significant, but there was no reason to panic.

“Avian influenza viruses do not easily infect people, and human infections usually occur after close contact with infected birds, infected animals or heavily contaminated environments.”

Drummer said careful surveillance and testing were crucial as authorities tried to determine whether the detections in migratory seabirds were isolated events or part of a broader pattern of virus movement in wild bird populations.

“It is important to be clear that detection in wild birds does not mean the virus is widespread in Australia, or that it has entered commercial poultry,” she said.

“Detecting the virus early gives authorities the best chance to understand where it is, limit spread where possible, and protect poultry, wildlife and people.”

The strain was first detected on the Australian mainland on 14 June in a brown skua found in Esperance, on Western Australia’s south coast.

More substantial testing is expected to confirm the NSW case over the weekend.

Australia’s response ‘very good’, expert says

Emma Grant, from La Trobe University’s Institute for Molecular Science, said the virus could spread very quickly.

“It can also be quite severe in different animals, so what it means for the wildlife in Australia is yet to be seen,” Grant said.

“That’s certainly been the talk from a lot of experts in the field, that we don’t know what is going to happen to our native bird populations.”

The public has been urged to avoid contact with sick or dead wildlife, report any finds to an emergency hotline, record locations and take photos.

The spread among migratory birds was “largely inevitable” but Australia was still doing “a very good job” of containing bird flu, Mater Health Services director of infectious diseases Paul Griffin said.

“While we are talking about three states and still a very small number of cases, it highlights how we have to remain vigilant and make sure that we protect the poultry industry and other bird populations,” Griffin said.

All positive cases had occurred in wild birds, with no signs the virus had spread to local poultry populations.

It was now “only a matter of time” before further cases were detected in other states, and the impact on commercial bird populations could be devastating if large-scale culls were required, Griffin said.

“But we do have good protocols in place … some of the largest producers have implemented more stringent measures to reduce that risk,” he said.

Widespread Parasite Infection Sparks Severe Diarrhea Warnings in Multiple US States, CDC Reports

0

PHILADELPHIA — Michigan health authorities have issued a warning regarding a “large and growing” outbreak of a parasitic infection that is currently spreading across the state.

On Thursday, it was revealed by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) that over 300 cases of cyclosporiasis, an intestinal infection, have been confirmed. This marks a significant increase from the roughly 50 cases the state usually records annually, according to MDHHS data shared with ABC News.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) point out that the spread of the parasite typically occurs through the consumption of food or water contaminated with fecal matter.

“We are working closely with our state and local partners to identify the source of this outbreak that is making so many people ill as quickly as possible,” stated Lynn Sutfin, the public information officer for MDHHS, during an interview with ABC News.

Meanwhile, outside Michigan, the CDC has reported 145 cases across 17 states as of June 15, with at least 20 individuals having been hospitalized.

Islanders’ Draft Pick Malte Gustafsson Poised for Rapid Ascent

0

Malte Gustafsson hasn’t allowed himself the luxury of dreaming about a future on the Islanders’ blue line alongside Matthew Schaefer. Both young talents, drafted in the first round and sharing left-handedness and the age of 18, are poised for significant roles.

Tom Jankovic, who coaches the HV71 under-20 team and assists Sweden’s under-18 national team, shared, “He’s remarkably down-to-earth and modest about his path.”

In Buffalo, during the introduction of Gustafsson as the Islanders’ 13th pick in the recent NHL draft, Schaefer’s presence by his side felt symbolic of their intertwined journeys.

It was a moment where one future cornerstone welcomed another, who could swiftly establish his presence.

Enthused about the prospect of skating with Schaefer, Gustafsson has made a name for himself in Sweden as a vital defenseman. He is set to continue with HV71 for the next season.

After that, though, the Islanders might have a decision to make with the 6-foot-4, 230-pounder who “came as advertised” to development camp last week, Islanders head coach Pete DeBoer said.

“I think he will be a top Swedish defenseman in the NHL someday,” Jankovic told The Post. “If it’s when he’s 24 or when he’s 28, I don’t know, but I think he will be there because he has all the tools. He has the right mindset.”

There’s no rush, either. Gustafsson planned to improve his offensive game and add muscle next season in the Swedish Hockey League.

Niklas Eriksson, his HV71 head coach who took over near the end of last season, said that he can use the larger rinks in Sweden to prepare for the smaller ones in North America.

It’ll force Gustafsson to simplify his game and to make first passes quickly, something on which he’ll get to work while likely logging 20-plus minutes a game and filling roles on both the power play and penalty kill.

Jankovic thought Gustafsson, a self-described “annoying” defenseman, would get picked earlier in the draft.

He can skate alongside both defensive and offensive defensemen, seamlessly complementing both and able to pick up either role when needed.

He constructed a two-way game where size, reach and an ability to carry the puck became his defining traits, and his movement near the blue line and passing ability could make him an option to quarterback a power-play unit in the NHL — perhaps the Islanders’ second one behind Schaefer, Jankovic said.

“He has so many tools when it comes to what he can do,” Jankovic said, “so I think that’s his biggest strength, and as a coach, you want that on the ice.”

Even before the draft, Gustafsson appeared in plenty of games with stakes attached.

He collected 12 points in 19 games with the under-20 team last season and added another three points in 27 regular-season games in the SHL.

He helped Sweden earn a gold medal at the U18 World Championship, skating over 28 minutes against Canada in the quarterfinals, over 29 against Czechia in the semifinals and another 26:39 against Slovakia in the gold-medal game.

Gustafsson helped HV71’s men’s team avoid relegation in the SHL, too, by contributing to their sweep in a best-of-seven series between the 13th- and 14th-place teams — with massive financial ramifications at stake if HV71 lost.

He quarterbacked the second power-play unit and impressed general manager Johan Hult with how he handled the pressure of those games.

“How I use my size and length to shut down players, play physical, really being annoying on the ice, showing that I’m there,” Gustafsson told The Post after the Islanders’ development camp scrimmage last week, “I think that’s the biggest part of my game.”

And if Gustafsson adds strength in his legs to become more explosive, Hult said, he’ll “be even more annoying, that’s for sure.”

Hult found it difficult to describe a ceiling for him because, in his eyes, “the ceiling is not set.”

Gustafsson could represent Sweden in the Olympics.

He could live up to Jankovic’s prediction as one of the best Swedish defensemen in the NHL.

He could make the five other teams who took other defensemen ahead of the Islanders in the first round look foolish.

That would all unfold years in the future.

That takes more than an initial introduction at development camp to actually achieve.

This — the draft, the HV71 games, the final SHL season before taking the leap to what’s next — has been just the start for Gustafsson.

“I think the sky’s the limit for this kid,” Jankovic said.

Unprecedented Police Mobilization Across South Africa as Violent Anti-Immigration Unrest Escalates

0

In response to widespread protests against illegal immigration, authorities in South Africa mobilized thousands of police officers on Tuesday. The demonstrations resulted in violent confrontations that rippled through several major cities.

The civil unrest, which involved numerous protestors, occurred just before a deadline set by certain organizers. These groups have called for the expulsion of all undocumented migrants by June 30, as reported by Reuters.

The protests attracted large crowds, predominantly made up of South Africans facing economic hardship. They argue that foreign migrants are accepting lower wages, securing jobs they need, and are contributing to the rising crime levels.

As chaos spread across the nation, at least four fatalities were reported amidst the ongoing violence and looting, according to Reuters.

The clashes mark the largest migration-related protests since anti-migrant violence erupted in South Africa in 2008.

While thousands of foreign nationals from other African countries had already fled ahead of Tuesday’s so-called deadline, tensions have remained high, Reuters said.

Multiple businesses and properties were vandalized in several areas, according to reports.

In anticipation of further attacks, many shops reportedly closed, with foreign workers staying home.

Landlords in Durban and Johannesburg also evicted foreign tenants illegally to avoid further trouble, witnesses alleged.

Reuters added that 100 Congolese nationals were reported sleeping on the streets of Durban.

While many marches were considered peaceful, police reported that they arrested several looters and fired rubber bullets to disperse crowds.

National broadcaster SABC added that protesters looted shacks belonging to foreign nationals in the Soweto township.

In Thembisa, a suburb of Johannesburg, rioters reportedly threw stones at police and suspected migrants, with witnesses saying sporadic gunfire was heard.

Police deployed tactical vehicles and fired shots in Benoni, east of Johannesburg, after being confronted by a group of roughly 500 protesters, Daily Maverick reported.

Thousands of police officers have been deployed nationwide, while the military was placed on standby, a defense spokesperson said in a statement.

“To those who intend to break the law tomorrow, our message is simple: do not test the resolve of the State,” Lt. Gen. Tebello Mosikili said.

The “March and March” group, one of the more prominent organizations behind the unrest, addressed the violence, saying it cannot be held responsible for spontaneous incidents breaking out during the demonstrations.

“Unfortunately, we can’t be in every single community telling them … how to behave,” Jacinta Ngobese, leader of the March and March group, told Reuters two weeks ago.

Ngobese said the group plans to hold weekly marches until its demands are met, despite the government rejecting the deadline and saying only authorities can enforce immigration laws.

“For the next six months, we are asking for our national resources to be used to take the illegal immigrants out of this country. From building to building — they must go,” Ngobese said, according to ZimLive.

Despite South Africa’s high unemployment rate, the country remains Africa’s largest economy and continues to draw migrants.

The immigrant population stands at about 3 million, or roughly 4% of the total, according to StatsSA.

NFL Star Dismisses Diva Wedding Guest Rumors Surrounding Taylor and Travis at MSG

0

Critics have taken aim at the guest list for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s star-studded wedding, but one guest, fortunate enough to score an invitation, has vigorously defended the couple’s choices.

The American power couple curated an impressive guest list, inviting around 1,000 people to commemorate their union at Madison Square Garden, a venue that stands as an iconic centerpiece in New York City. Exclusive images from the Daily Mail showcased the arena’s transformation into a magical setting for the event.

However, some fans observing from a distance expressed surprise over certain names that appeared on Kelce and Swift’s prestigious shortlist, sparking discussions online.

Among the notable attendees was popular NFL analyst Rich Eisen, accompanied by his wife, Suzy Shuster, herself a renowned sportscaster. Eisen shared a cherished memory from the event on Instagram, allowing fans a glimpse into the glittering affair.

“Quite the NYC night,” Eisen captioned the photo. “Storybook doesn’t do the expression of love we witnessed justice,” he added, encapsulating the enchantment felt by many present at the ceremony.

Amid the array of comments on the post complimenting the couple on how they looked for the big day, however, the NFL personality took exception to a critic accusing Kelce of inviting famous names instead of some of his friends.

‘Am I the only one that thinks it’s super weird that outside of Mahomes and Reid, they invited tangential “sports” people like Rich Eisen but less than a handful of Chiefs,’ one comment on Eisen’s post read.

The man himself replied in order to set the record straight, writing: ‘Beyond false. Most Chiefs were there.

‘Both sides of the ball and coaching staff and front office and FORMER teammates of @killatrav (Kelce’s Instagram handle).’

Eisen stating that ‘most’ Chiefs players made it to the big day was intriguing after the Daily Mail reported on Friday that kicker Harrison Butker was not in the Big Apple for teammate Kelce’s wedding.

Butker sparked uproar two years ago when he suggested women should prioritize being stay-at-home mothers over their careers during a commencement speech at Kansas City’s Benedictine College.

Amid the controversy, led by plenty of Swifties, Kelce stood up for his teammate against the cancel culture backlash, describing him as a ‘great person’ – despite admitting he disagreed with almost every opinion he shared in the speech.

‘When it comes down to his views and what he said at the Saint Benedict’s commencement speech, those are his. I can’t say I agree with the majority of it or just about any of it outside of just him loving his family and his kids,’ he said about Butker on his New Heights podcast in May 2024.

‘And I don’t think that I should judge him by his views, especially his religious views, of how to go about life, that’s just not who I am.

‘I grew up in a beautiful upbringing of different social classes, different religions, different races and ethnicities in Cleveland Heights and that’s why I love Cleveland Heights for what it was.’

The three-time Super Bowl champion Butker also appeared to condemn then-President Joe Biden’s pro-abortion stance and the LGBTQ+ community, igniting outrage at the time.

A petition for Butker to be cut by the Chiefs was signed by more than 260,000 people.

As well as the majority of Chiefs stars making Kelce’s big day, he invited plenty of other notable names from across the world of football.

Tom Brady, Matthew Stafford and Mike Vrabel were there, as well as former teammates such as Trent McDuffie and Juju Smith-Schuster.

Kelce and Swift are expected to attend Smith-Schuster’s wedding in Orange County, California next weekend.

AMC CEO’s Swift-Deleted Play-by-Play of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding Sparks Online Frenzy

AMC Theatres CEO, Adam Aron, enthusiastically shared details about the extravagant wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden, only to remove the post shortly after.

In a post on X, Aron expressed his excitement about attending the event, saying, “It was such a privilege to be THERE,” according to screenshots taken before the post was deleted.

Aron, who has been closely associated with Taylor Swift since AMC premiered her Eras Tour movie worldwide in 2023, mentioned the historical connection, noting, “With AMC’s headquarters ironically based in Kansas City, home of the Chiefs, I recognized early signs of a genuine romance,” and announced that a significant chapter in their love story began on Friday.

Aron shared that Madison Square Garden had undergone a complete transformation, with every surface—”floors, walls, ceilings”—decorated in peach and white, a theme corroborated by leaked footage of the occasion.

He also revealed that there were large photo displays of Taylor and Travis, capturing each year of their lives, from age one through their late teenage years.

Aron noted that no trace of the famed sports arena existed during the celebration for the “Opalite” songstress and NFL star, as it had “magically” turned into “an outdoor garden at a lush countryside retreat.”

“Real flowers and I think artificial trees welcomed fifteen rows of maybe 75 or so chairs,” Aron wrote. “They say there were around one thousand attendees, but surprisingly, it all felt intimate and small. Everything was close.”

Aron continued the play-by-play with details of the ceremony, which began with “a few violins and cello” ushering in the wedding party, which was “headlined by handsome Travis in a white tux, and a jaw-dropping Taylor in a stunning white wedding dress with a long veiled train.”

The movie chain exec did not identify the “officiant” who “talked and sang and talked” during the ceremony, but a press release following the celebration revealed that Adam Sandler officiated and Swift and Kelce’s fits were Christian Dior Haut Couture.

The vows, Aron wrote, were “long, entertaining, personal, charming, emotional, irreverent and endearing explorations by each as to how they met, why they want to be with each other for all eternity, the promises they made in joining their much-beloved two whole families as one, and committing to their new mutual life together.”

at MSG:

The moment was followed by a “sweep you off your feet kiss,” he added. During the “exquisite” reception, Aron shared that there was “superb food and drink” and “music, music, music.”

“I wish you were all could have been there with me, to witness real, pure, true joy,” he wrote.

Aron was among 1,000 high-profile guests at the couple’s massive celebration at New York City’s landmark arena, following a much more intimate rehearsal dinner including 100 members of the couple’s inner circle Thursday evening.

The long-awaited wedding was announced on Friday evening on lit signs outside Madison Square Garden reading, “JUST&T MARRIED.”

Meanwhile, at the iconic Empire State Building spires, a spectacular blue light show commenced as the Grammy winning bride’s “something blue.”
