Taylor Swift Shocks Fans with Unexpected Performance at Tight End University

0

Taylor Swift left fans in awe with a surprise appearance at her fiancé Travis Kelce’s Tight End University, adding a touch of star power to the event.

Amidst the excitement building around their upcoming wedding, Swift shared the stage with Lainey Wilson to deliver an unforgettable rendition of her 2008 chart-topper, ‘Love Story.’

Kelce, a celebrated player for the Kansas City Chiefs, has been at the helm of this remarkable event for the last five years alongside co-founders George Kittle and Greg Olsen. This annual summit gathers NFL tight ends for three days filled with camaraderie and expertise.

Adding to the excitement, this iteration of the event—hosted in Nashville—marks the first time in six years that tight end enthusiasts can partake as attendees. Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl champion, kicked off the celebrations with Kittle and Olsen by his side.

Swift, just weeks away from exchanging vows with Kelce, turned heads on the red carpet. She dazzled in a chic pale yellow floral jacquard mini dress from Lola Dre, paired with elegant buttercream Aquazzura heels, making a fashion statement in Music City.

She posed alongside her NFL beau on the red carpet of the opening event, joining her fellow WAG Claire Kittle, who is married to San Francisco 49ers star Kittle, and Olsen’s daughter, Talbot.

Kelce joked that he ‘blacked out’ from excitement as he welcomed the crowd to the opening event on Monday night.

The annual summit has become somewhat of a star-studded event on the NFL calendar with some of the league’s biggest names and their wives or girlfriends attending.

Kittle’s wife, Claire, was also spotted among the glamorous WAGs at the evening’s festivities, posing alongside New Orleans Saints star Foster Moreau’s girlfriend Abigail, Juwan Johnson’s wife Chanen and Cincinnati Bengals player Jack Stoll’s wife Carolyn.

Tight End University includes a jam-packed schedule of film study, on-field work and plenty of social events, including a concert – Tight Ends and Friends.

And, naturally, many fans are questioning if Swift will be performing at the event again.

Last year, the songstress made a surprise appearance onstage with an impromptu performance at the concert.

Singers such as Sophia Scott, Graham Barham and Chase Rice were all listed to perform at the venue, where Swift was first spotted enjoying the night in the VIP section. Jordan Davis also played and welcomed country star Luke Combs onto the stage but Swift’s involvement had been kept a secret – if it was even scheduled at all.

Swift told the crowd ‘we planned that three minutes ago’ shortly before she left the stage to huge cheers. Just when it seemed like Rice was finishing his set, Swift ignited a frenzy when she walked out for one more song and played an acoustic guitar belonging to Rice.

She dedicated it ‘to our favorite players’ before launching into a rendition of one of her biggest hits and sending the crowd – and Kelce – wild.

However, her attendance, let alone a performance, this year remains a mystery as her wedding day fast approaches.

Over the weekend, the Shake It Off hitmaker’s Rhode Island compound was humming with activity.

The singer was said to have hosted a lavish bachelorette-style party for her friends at the oceanfront estate. Swift’s high school pal Abigail Anderson has been spotted at the property along with some other lady friends.

From last Wednesday afternoon, security and women dressed in black and white were spotted on the rooftop balconies of the entertainer’s home.

Swift and Kelce’s wedding is said to be just weeks away with a huge reception being planned at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, which would encompass the reported 1,000 guests they are inviting.

No doubt, famous guests will include Selena Gomez and her new husband Benny Blanco, supermodel Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne, Zoe Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, Suki Waterhouse and, one would assume, her significant other Robert Pattinson, and the Haim sisters – Este, Danielle and Alana.

Kelce arrived at Tight End University following his own weekend of Bachelor debauchery.

Kelce and his pals were partying for days, with multiple events in LA and beyond – and they finished their big weekend down in San Diego to watch NASCAR’s first ever race at Naval Base Coronado.

Lawsuit Alleges Teacher Told Student Her Parents Do Not Want Her

0

Images captured from security cameras allegedly depict a Texas preschool teacher mistreating a 4-year-old child in their supervision (The Button Law Firm).

A lawsuit claims that a preschool teacher in Texas constantly “shouted at, demeaned, and mishandled” a young girl, aged four, in her charge — telling her distressingly that, “Your mommy and daddy don’t want you,” and threatening her with imprisonment.

According to the legal complaint filed by her parents, Patrick and Mellissa Killingsworth, the teacher allegedly intimidated their daughter by warning, “You’re going to be locked in the dungeon.” The incident reportedly occurred while the child was attending Trinity Lutheran School and Early Childhood Center, a private institution situated in San Angelo.

The lawsuit further asserts that the child endured relentless yelling, insults, and physical aggression such as shoving, dragging, and hitting — impacts that have profoundly affected her.

The Killingsworths allege their daughter was “captured on video” being pulled across the classroom by her teacher, who remains unnamed in the complaint. Additionally, footage reportedly shows the educator “isolating her in a dark closet,” according to a statement released by The Button Law Firm, representing the family.

“In addition, the lawsuit states the teacher threatened to call the police on the preschooler and told her that her parents wanted her to go to jail,” the statement says. “Every incident was captured on the school’s surveillance cameras.”

According to the complaint, the teacher was caught on video “screaming” at the girl and “belittling” her in front of other kids.

“You are not going to kindergarten,” the teacher allegedly said. “You are a baby! You need help! You can’t do anything!”

The teacher allegedly added, “She got something wrong in her brain. … You even poop all over my bathroom but doesn’t know how to listen to anything! So embarrassing … You are so embarrassing. You are so embarrassing. Everybody look at [the girl], how embarrassing. Aw, so embarrassing. All of your friends are looking at you. Like you are so embarrassing. Get it together.”

The child was seen “crying, asking for her mommy and daddy,” while the teacher continued to “mock her,” according to the complaint. The teacher got one of the kids in her class to join in “on the taunting,” the document alleges.

“You’re gonna get locked in the dungeon!” the student allegedly yelled.

Describing how she was threatening to call the cops on the child and pretending to dial 911 on her cellphone, the teacher allegedly said, “Guess what? I’m going to call the police. And you’re going to go to jail. Yea! You need to get locked up and go far away from your family and from all of your friends and you need to go to jail. You need to go to jail. … You are so bad.”

According to the complaint, the teacher was also caught on camera saying the following:

Oh! Guess what? Your mommy and daddy are so tired of how you act that they don’t want you at home either. They don’t want you. They want you at… they want you to go to jail, too because you don’t listen!

Your mommy and daddy are not at jail. They are not at jail. You won’t ever see them. You’ll be at the jail. Cry about it.

And guess what? Shhhhhh…. Guess what in jail?

You think there are a bunch of little kids like your age in jail?

NO! Guess who they all are?

They’re big grown-up scary people in jail!

And you’re going to be the only teeny tiny little baby in the whole jail!”

The girl’s parents are suing Trinity Lutheran School and its administrators, claiming they “chose not to intervene or preserve” footage of the alleged torment. Text messages cited in the complaint say Trinity Lutheran School’s director and principal received more than four months of “explicit warnings” from the teacher that she was “approaching a mental health breakdown,” including one in which she called a “meltdown at work” her “worst nightmare.”

The school’s response was “to continue having the teacher come into work and sending her back to her classroom — prioritizing staffing over child safety,” according to the parents’ lawyers. School leaders allegedly “failed to intervene at every step, even after the director watched recorded footage of the abuse the day it happened,” the law firm’s statement says.

“Trinity Lutheran School’s leadership ignored state childcare laws and failed to stop a 4-year-old girl and her preschool classmates from being terrorized by a teacher while under the school’s watch,” says daycare injury attorney Russell Button. “This is what happens when a school prioritizes its staffing schedule over a child’s safety, then tries to bury the truth instead of owning up to their multiple failures that broke the law.”

When reached by Law&Crime on Tuesday about the lawsuit, Trinity Lutheran School said its leaders were unavailable to comment.

Suspect Charged in Attempted Arson at Gate City Church

GATE CITY, Va. (WJHL) — Authorities have apprehended a suspect accused of trying to ignite a blaze at a local church in Gate City.

The Gate City Police Department (GCPD) announced in a press release that officers were dispatched to the First Apostolic Church located on Jackson Street on June 13. Officials reported that there was evident “damage indicative of an attempted arson at the church.”

The police confirmed that the church was empty during the alleged arson attempt, and fortunately, no one sustained injuries.

Following thorough investigations, James Scottie Davis, a resident of Gate City, was arrested on June 19.

Davis was charged with arson of an unoccupied dwelling and vandalism.

As of Tuesday, Davis was being held at the Duffield Regional Jail on a $5,000 bond.

The GCPD stated in the release that the incident remains under investigation and encouraged anyone with information on the matter to contact police.

“The Gate City Police Department is committed to ensuring the safety and security of all places of worship and the community as a whole,” the release states. “We encourage anyone with additional information related to this case or any suspicious activity to contact the department.”

Understanding Your Key Superannuation Figures: $400K, $630K, or $1M?

0

Australians eager to understand the financial requirements for retirement face a myriad of varying figures and forecasts. Pinning down exactly how much is necessary can be quite the challenge.

According to the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA), homeowners looking towards a comfortable retirement should aim for a superannuation balance of $630,000 for an individual and $730,000 for a couple. This benchmark guide offers a solid target for those planning ahead.

Complementing this, a recent study conducted by the Monash Centre for Financial Studies reveals that retirees possessing more than $400,000 in superannuation are more likely to enjoy a comfortable income throughout their retirement.

On the other hand, Super Consumers Australia (SCA) offers a differing perspective, suggesting that a single homeowner will require $322,000, while a couple will need $432,000 for their retirement. This model provides a contrasting view on the financial necessities for retirees.

Adding to the mix of figures, a recent survey conducted by Colonial First State highlights a disparity between expert recommendations and what Australians anticipate needing for their retirement, showcasing the diversity in expectations about financial security during the golden years.

It found the average amount Australians now believe is needed for a comfortable retirement is more than $1 million.

More than half of respondents said they worry they won’t have enough money to live comfortably.

So which numbers should you pay attention to, and how do you figure out what to actually aim for?

What the different numbers mean

Different models use different methods and assumptions to arrive at their headline figures.

ASFA’s benchmarks, for example, use a budget-based estimate, breaking down what someone might spend on items like private health insurance, car upkeep, leisure, travel and home maintenance, in what they’ve categorised as either a “comfortable” or “modest” lifestyle.

SCA uses data on the spending patterns of retirees from the Australian Bureau of Statistics to generate its targets, which are lower than ASFA’s.

“Both of these approaches have got different sorts of merit,” Susan Thorp, a Monash University professor of banking and finance who specialises in retirement finance, told SBS News.

While the SCA numbers reflect real spending, it’s hard to determine whether people are actually happy with that lifestyle, she told SBS News.

“The ‘what do people really do’ number is somewhat constrained, because we really don’t know whether what people are doing is what they want to do, or whether they’re just managing with what they have, and they’d actually like to have more,” she said.

As for the ASFA standard, the constraint there is whether the budgeted spending patterns fit with your lifestyle, she said.

The $400,000 number from Monash represents something different again.

Rather than estimating how much people need to spend in retirement, researchers looked at how likely different super balances were to sustain a comfortable income over time.

Their modelling found retirees were much less likely to exhaust their savings once balances exceeded about $400,000.

While benchmarks and figures are not a one-size-fits-all approach, they can be a helpful prompt to get people to engage with retirement planning.

“Ultimately, they’re just a starting point, they’re not the end point,” Katrina Ellis, deputy CEO of SCA, told SBS News.

“They’re not the magic number that will suit everybody, and that’s why it’s really important to know your own number.”

The $1 million question

Colonial First State’s survey data suggests Australians believe they need more than $1 million to retire comfortably.

That figure has risen substantially since its last survey, in 2025, amid cost of living pressures and growing concerns about financial security.

But Ellis said this perception of what’s needed is, in many cases, misguided and can cause unnecessary alarm for Australians approaching retirement age.

“The wealth management industry as a whole has sort of contributed to these inflated numbers that are out there,” she said.

“A really key thing that perhaps is not obvious to people about superannuation and retirement is that actually, your super is there to be spent.

“These million dollar numbers sort of come around when people think about just living off the earnings of their super and not touching their balance,” she said.

“If that’s what you want to do, you’re going to need to have a much higher balance to just live off the earnings. But that’s not actually the point of super; that’s not how it’s intended to work.

“You are supposed to, over your retirement, spend the earnings, but also gradually spend down your super as well.”

How to figure out your number

There is a range of tools that Australians can use to estimate what they might need to retire.

The federal government’s financial literacy tool, Moneysmart, has a calculator that allows users to step through how much they currently have and earn, their future lifestyle goals, and ultimately what they’ll need at retirement age and how long those savings will last.

Some superannuation funds also offer tools, and Thorp said people can also generally ask their funds for guidance.

However, she warned against using artificial intelligence bots to run the numbers, noting that many of them draw information from sources outside Australia, such as the United States, which might not have the same social safety nets as Australia.

“The Age Pension is fundamentally important to the way we can think about retirement in Australia, and it protects us from a great deal of hardship when we’re older,” she said.

Ellis suggested people start by mapping out a budget, and assessing their lifestyle, spending, family and health needs.

She said it’s also important for Australians nearing retirement to become familiar with the process and eligibility for the Age Pension.

2026 NBA Draft First Round: Team-by-Team Performance Grades

0

Analysis by The Post’s Zach Braziller on the first round picks of the 2026 NBA Draft.

1. Washington Wizards — AJ Dybantsa, F, BYU

Standing at 6-foot-9, this wing has been a standout since eighth grade, showing incredible scoring abilities. It wouldn’t be surprising if he eventually tops the league’s scoring charts. More importantly for the frequently struggling Wizards, Dybantsa brings a fierce competitive edge. He is unlikely to be content with continued losses.

Grade: A

2. Utah Jazz — Darryn Peterson, G, Kansas

Although Peterson’s talent is undeniable, it doesn’t come without some concerns. During his single season at Kansas, he missed 11 games and was absent for large segments of several second halves due to a variety of unexplained injuries. While his potential is the highest in this draft class, reliability remains a question mark.

Grade: A-

3. Memphis Grizzlies — Cameron Boozer, F, Duke

Boozer will enter the league with a chip on his shoulder. Ahead of the draft, the do-it-all forward said, “down the line, people are gonna look back and say that I should’ve been” in conversations to go No. 1. He has a point, as the fifth freshman ever to be the consensus National Player of the Year. Three of the other four — Anthony Davis, Zion Williamson, Cooper Flagg — all went No. 1. Only Kevin Durant went No. 2. Pretty good company for Boozer to keep.

Grade: A

4. Chicago Bulls — Caleb Wilson, F, North Carolina

In a regular year, Wilson is a No. 1 pick contender. That’s how loaded this class is. There isn’t a better athlete in this draft than this 6-foot-9 jumping jack of a prospect who averaged 19.8 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists as a freshman for the Tar Heels.

Grade: A

5. Los Angeles Clippers — Keaton Wagler, G, Illinois

Give me Mikel Brown Jr., Darius Acuff Jr. or Kingston Flemings over Wagler. This pick will age poorly. The Clippers passed on three better players — now and in the future.

Grade: D

6. Brooklyn Nets — Mikel Brown Jr., G, Louisville

At least the Nets didn’t reach for Wagler, thanks to the Clippers. I would’ve gone with Acuff from Arkansas, but as long as Brown’s back isn’t an issue — and the Nets met with him several times, so one would think they aren’t concerned about it — the shot-making guard out of Louisville has the potential to be a difference-maker in the backcourt.

Grade: B

7. Sacramenton Kings — Darius Acuff Jr., G, Arkansas

The Kings get a steal at No. 7, the second-best guard in this draft after Peterson. Acuff makes difficult shots and can run a team. The Clippers and Nets are going to regret passing on the 6-foot-2 playmaker.

Grade: A

8. Atlanta Hawks — Kingston Flemings, G, Houston

The young Hawks core adds a potential two-way dynamo in the Houston guard. If his 3-point shot comes along — while he made 38.7 percent as a freshman, he attempted only 2.9 per game — Flemings has All-Star capabilities. A tandem of Flemings and Dyson Daniels is a flat-out scary defensive duo on the perimeter.

Grade: A-

9. Dallas Mavericks — Morez Johnson Jr., F, Michigan

The Michigan Mavericks. New coach Dusty May is bringing one of his Wolverines with him to Dallas. Somewhat of a surprise considering where he was projected, but the 6-foot-9 Johnson profiles as an impact defender, a dogged rebounder, and there is offensive potential beyond what he has shown in two years of college.

Grade: B+

10. Milwaukee Bucks — Brayden Burries, G, Arizona

He is ready to contribute immediately and will get plenty of minutes for the rebuilding Bucks. Surprised Milwaukee didn’t take a bigger swing here, but it’s hard to argue against a well-coached, two-way player who shot better than expected — 39.1 percent from deep on 4.9 attempts — in his lone year of college.

Grade: B

11. Golden State Warriors – Yaxel Lendeborg, F, Michigan

The Warriors believe they can contend, and the 24-year-old Lendeborg will provide immediate help as a versatile defender, shotmaker and slasher. What a journey for the Pennsauken, N.J., native, who was working at a warehouse, thinking he was done with the sport. Now, he’s teammates with Stephen Curry.

Grade: B+

12. Oklahoma City Thunder – Aday Mara, C, Michigan

Welcome to the NBA, Aday. Now, go defend Victor Wembanyama, the Thunder’s nemesis. The 7-foot-3 center was one of the biggest risers over the past two months and winds up in the back end of the lottery after helping Michigan win its first national championship in 37 years.

Grade: B

13. Milwaukee Bucks – Nate Ament, F, Tennessee

This is the swing I was talking about. The 6-foot-10 Ament needs to get stronger and be more efficient, but he has the length and shotmaking prowess teams covet on the wing. He is also used to tough coaching, after spending his freshman year with Rick Barnes at Tennessee.

Grade: A

14. Charlotte Hornets – Hannes Steinbach, F, Washington

Charlotte fills a major need with the nation’s leading rebounder (11.8). The Hornets could lose Miles Bridges, Grant Williams and Josh Green in free agency, but land this German native who notched 22 double-doubles a year ago, tied for the most in the country with Boozer.

Grade: B

15. Chicago Bulls – Dailyn Swain, F, Texas

Loved the Bulls’ first pick of Wilson. Not nearly as high on this selection. Swain is a wing who doesn’t shoot well. He’s a slasher who will have to defend at a very high level to be a major contributor on a quality team.

Grade: C+

16. Oklahoma City Thunder — Bennett Stirz, G, Iowa

The Thunder moved up a spot, sending the Grizzlies two second-round picks and No. 17 overall, to get the Iowa combo guard. The sharpshooting Stirtz can play on and off the ball and gives Oklahoma City another court-spacer.

Grade: B

17. Detroit Pistons – Ebuka Okorie, G, Stanford

The Pistons are after offensive firepower to lighten the load on Cade Cunningham. Okorie, while undersized at 6-foot-1, makes sense with that in mind. But he’s going to have to improve as a 3-point shooter after shooting only 35.5 percent as a freshman to be productive at the next level.

Grade: C+

18. Charlotte Hornets – Christian Anderson, G, Texas Tech

This should’ve been the Pistons’ pick. Anderson is a lights-out shooter who improved considerably as a playmaker this past season. Prediction: Years from now, we’re going to wonder how he wasn’t a lottery pick.

Grade: A

19. Toronto Raptors – Allen Graves, F, Santa Clara

Stretch four with an advanced feel for the game. Has offensive hub and glue guy potential. His ability to space the floor makes him a frontcourt fit next to Scottie Barnes.

Grade: B+

20. San Antonio Spurs – Jayden Quaintance, C, Kentucky

Gutsy risk by the Spurs. If the surgically repaired knee is right, this is a steal. Quaintance is a lottery talent, but health concerns dropped him to No. 20. The rim-protecting, rebounding athlete can play alongside Victor Wembanyama or back him up. The Spurs were too thin behind Wembanyama and this starts to address that weakness.

Grade: B+

21. Memphis Grizzlies — Karim Lopez, F, New Zealand Breakers

Memphis now has an intriguing forward tandem with Boozer and López. The hard-playing, physical López has elite athleticism that can make him into an upper-echelon defender. The jump shot, though, needs major work.

Grade: B

22. Philadelphia 76ers — Labaron Philon Jr., G, Alabama

Fantastic pick. Home run. One of the premier guards in the country joins one of the best young backcourts in the NBA. Philon with VJ Edgecombe and Tyrese Maxey is an explosive trio.

Grade: A

23. Atlanta Hawks — Zuby Ejiofor, F, St. John’s

The Hawks have just gained a lot of fans in Queens. The gritty Ejiofor, arguably the best Johnnie this century, becomes the school’s first first-round pick in 14 years, since Moe Harkless went 15th overall in 2012.

Grade: B+

24. Los Angeles Lakers — Cameron Carr, G, Baylor

Springy wing with in-the-arena range. Needs to get stronger and improve defensively but has the ability to be a microwave scorer. The Lakers were smart to move up for him. A lottery-level talent.

Grade: A-

25. New York Knicks — Sergio De Larrea, G, Valencia Basket

Big point guard at 6-foot-6 who is likely a draft-and-stash. Highly regarded European prospect who is only 20 years old. A solid pick for the future that won’t impact the Knicks’ cap situation for next season

Grade: B

26. San Antonio Spurs — Tarris Reed Jr., C, UConn

The Spurs aren’t messing around with their big-man depth. First was Quaintance and now Reed, centers with vastly different styles. Reed is an old-school big, a back-to-the-basket player who has made strides as a defender and rebounder.

Grade: B

27. Boston Celtics — Chris Cenac Jr., C, Houston

The 6-foot-10 big didn’t have the freshman year many expected, and fell in the draft, nearly out of the first round. Still has the measurables, namely in his 7-foot-5 wingspan, that teams desire.

Grade: C

28. Brooklyn Nets — Joshua Jefferson, F, Iowa State

One of my favorites players in this draft. Does everything well as a versatile 6-foot-8 forward. Most of all, he is used to winning, and will impact the Nets in a positive manner. He’s a culture builder.

Grade: A

29. Sacramento Kings — Alex Karaban, F, UConn

Karaban can make shots and space the floor, but defending wings at the next level will be a very tall task for him. He’s a limited athlete.

Grade: D

30. Phoenix Suns — Koa Peat, F, Arizona

So, the Suns traded into the first round for a shooting-challenged forward who doesn’t profile as much of a defender, and should’ve stayed in school? Yikes.

Grade: F

Latest Analysis Reveals Current E. Coli Levels in Savannah River Water Samples

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. () – Recent testing has provided insight into the E. coli levels present in the Savannah River. While there’s a portion of the community that is anxious about water safety, officials are reassuring the public that the issue isn’t as widespread as it might appear.

The detection of elevated E. coli levels in the Savannah River has stirred apprehension among CSRA residents.

“Thinking about taking my family kayaking, which we plan to do this summer, makes me uneasy because of the high E. coli levels in the river,” Amanda Dobson, a local resident, shared. “The idea is honestly unsettling.”

Another local, Mike Perry, expressed a similar sentiment, stating, “I would avoid the river until these levels drop.”

Despite the rising concerns surrounding the heightened E. coli levels in the Savannah River, officials from the Riverkeeper organization emphasize that the issue is confined to a specific location rather than being pervasive.

At the Riverview Boast Dock, officials say levels are normal, but a couple miles downstream is where they say the issue lies.

Truck Carlson, program coordinator for Veterans for Clean Water, says test samples taken last week showed E. coli levels above 2,400 at the Savannah River Sandbar. New testing conducted this week showed much different results.

“In our world, dilution is the solution to pollution, so you got this much water, it dilutes really quickly, really quickly,” he said.

This week’s testing at the Sandbar have dropped to six, while levels at the creek measured 290, an increase from last week. Carlson says all testing locations along the Savannah River are now within safe levels, but riverkeepers still encourage residents to use caution.

“If you have a compromised immune system or you’re very young or you’re very old, it can really be a problem health wise,” Carlson said. “It can make you really sick, not necessarily going to kill you, but it could make you really sick and it’s something to be advised about.”

Riverkeeper officials say they will continue monitoring water quality over the coming days.

They are also encouraging residents to check the latest testing results before diving in.

Trump Urges Swift Resolution for Missing Nancy Guthrie in Family’s Desperate Time

0

President Donald Trump conveyed his optimism on Tuesday about the ongoing search efforts for Nancy Guthrie, the missing mother of “Today” show co-host Savannah Guthrie. The case has captivated the nation’s attention as it nears the five-month mark since her mysterious disappearance.

During an impromptu session with the press at Reading Regional Airport in Pennsylvania, Trump addressed questions regarding the possibility of the FBI and other investigative bodies uncovering Nancy Guthrie’s whereabouts.

Expressing his wish for the mystery to be resolved, Trump stated, “I hope they find her. That family has gone through hell.”

Trump’s succinct comments mirror the desperation and urgency of the ongoing search efforts. Marking its 20th week, the investigation into the 84-year-old Arizona woman’s disappearance continues amid heartfelt appeals from Savannah Guthrie, urging anyone with information to come forward.

A federal law enforcement source familiar with the investigation told Fox News that the note suggested Guthrie was “buried with nature.” The communication reportedly did not seek payment and included language expressing remorse, a detail experts say is unusual in genuine ransom demands.

Authorities have not confirmed the authenticity of the notes, and investigators have not identified who sent them.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told News Media that investigators and the FBI have examined numerous ransom communications throughout the case, with some determined to be fraudulent and others considered potentially credible.

Nancy Guthrie was reported missing after disappearing from her Tucson-area home in early February. The FBI, Pima County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies continue to investigate the case.

Savannah Guthrie has repeatedly vowed that her family will continue searching for answers.

“We love our mom,” she said. “We’ll never stop looking for her, never.”

Ageless Beauty: Grease Star Didi Conn Shines at 74 in New Campaign

0

Iconic actress Didi Conn, best known for her role in “Grease,” has made a remarkable return in a captivating beauty campaign.

Nearly half a century has passed since the 74-year-old dazzled audiences in the 1978 hit film alongside stars like John Travolta and the beloved Olivia Newton-John.

Conn channels her memorable “Grease” persona in a fresh advertisement for Laura Geller Beauty, where she revisits her character Frenchy—forever remembered as the ‘beauty school dropout’—through a nostalgic nod to her storyline’s iconic theme song.

In a social media clip released Tuesday, she humorously reflects, ‘Hello there. Remember when I dropped out of beauty school? I once thought it spelled doom for my hair and I would be trapped in a cycle of costly salon visits forever.’

Her witty dialogue serves to promote the brand’s innovative Full Root-ine Hair & Brow Concealing Cream and Powder.

In a nod to Frenchy’s status in the high school girl group Pink Ladies, the clip showed her clad in a pale pink dress with a pleated skirt and name tag.

In a new Laura Geller Beauty ad, Conn riffs off her Grease storyline – in which her character Frenchy was a ‘beauty school dropout,’ complete with a plot-defining song

Conn, whose hair was mistakenly dyed a gingery red hue in the beloved movie-musical, looked chic with a brunette bob.

In the decades since the career-defining film, she has brushed off claims that Grease is sexist.

Grease followed the naive, teenage Sandy (Olivia Newton-John), who was reunited with her summer sweetheart Danny (John Travolta) after transferring to his high school.

While Danny has a reputation as a ‘bad boy’ who hangs with his ‘greaser’ crew, Sandy is demure and inexperienced.

But by the end of the movie, viewers see her transform into a sassy, cigarette-smoking version of herself to keep up with Danny.

Conn insisted in 2020 that Sandy was ’emancipated’ rather than exploited by her metamorphosis.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain, the actress explained that Sandy opted for a sexier appearance to escape her restricted upbringing, after critics said the character shouldn’t have to change herself to be with the charming Danny Zuko.

Bringing her role into the conversation, she said: ‘Frenchy always wanted to be a beautician. She wanted to make people beautiful and bring every great quality in them.’

In a nod to Frenchy’s status in the high school girl group Pink Ladies, the clip showed her clad in a pale pink dress with a pleated skirt and name tag

'Hi there. You might remember when I famously dropped out of beauty school. I thought my life and my hair was ruined and I'd have to spend eternity making expensive salon appointments,' she said in a clip shared on social media Tuesday

Does Sandy’s transformation in Grease empower women or reinforce harmful stereotypes about beauty?

Conn continued: ‘She failed, she had a few problems in the tinting class over there. She still cared, especially for her friends.

‘So when Sandy is all alone by herself after the car race and she decides she wants to be part of the gang, she wants to have fun and allow herself to be emancipated a little bit. She says to Frenchy, “Can you help me Frenchy?” you know.

‘So, it’s like the first makeover show, she is becoming more of herself. She is allowing herself to come through.

‘It’s not so much to get her man but it’s to be who she is 100%. He ran away from the dance because he was dancing with Cha-Cha and she couldn’t confront him because there was this part of herself that wanted to come out.’

She noted that despite Sandy’s innocent appearance, she was secretly hoping to bring out her sexuality, which sets the stage for her makeover by the film’s end.

Miraculous Tornado Survival: Man Emerges Unscathed as Storm Levels His Home

EFFINGHAM, Ill. (WCIA) — An Effingham resident considers himself fortunate to still be alive after a tornado devastated his residence last week, reducing it to rubble.

The footage you have just viewed has garnered nearly 18,000 likes and has been shared over 8,000 times across social media platforms.

Captured almost a week ago on Wednesday, this dramatic video shows what happened. Trevor Kreke, who had been renting the house for about a year, recalls that despite the blaring sirens and the alerts on his phone, he didn’t anticipate the tornado would head directly toward him.

“I’m still in shock,” Kreke expressed.

Kreke recounts that on Wednesday, while he was at home, his grandfather called to ask if he had noticed any storms approaching yet.

“He said, how is it there? I said it’s not raining. It’s not windy. It looks it honestly looks pretty outside.” said Kreke.

That’s when he says he learned the true meaning of calm before the storm.

“Glass started breaking and then I couldn’t feel my movement. I couldn’t control any movement, and it was pretty much a blur from that point. It was complete darkness. Then about 15 seconds later, I saw light and realized somehow I was alive.” said Kreke.

Kreke isn’t the only one who lost nearly everything. He was renting the home from Todd Koester who lives only a few hundred yards away.

Koester says he lost around 2500 bushels of corn from his grain bin. But he says the things that are personal, what can’t be replaced hurts the most. Like personal trinkets that belonged to his late father.

“My dad had all kinds of little stuff that meant a lot to him. And we had it for the farm and it was just little stuff. I call it junk, but it wasn’t junk to him.” said Koester.

Todd and his wife are staying in a trailer–their home also sustained damage. Bit by bit they’re beginning to clean up — with some unexpected help.

“There was like 60 cars in our driveway parked up in the yard. And how many people that actually came out to help this stuff up was unreal.” said Koester.

Both say they are thankful to see another day and have a message before the next storm hits.

“A lesson we can all learn is take the warning seriously, and it can happen. Even if you think It can’t.” said Kreke.

“We’re going to build a house with a basement.” said Koester.

Koester says it will be at least a year–until he rebuilds. Kreke says he has a GoFundMe online—which has raised more than 41-thousand dollars. He plans to use those donations to recover — and then give the REST to others who lost property in the community. You can find a link to that here.

Karoline Leavitt Returns to the Campaign Trail with Trump in Pennsylvania, Bringing Along Newborn Daughter Vivi

Departing from discussions on Middle Eastern conflicts and Iran, former President Trump delivered remarks against the backdrop of Mack Trucks’ humming factory in Lower Macungie Township. The plant, a part of the Volvo Group, provided a powerful setting for his message.

Among those accompanying Trump was Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who rejoined the political stage in this significant battleground area. Her appearance marked a return to the campaign trail just under two months after welcoming her daughter, Vivi.

Leavitt, gradually stepping back into her professional role, made her presence known with her initial media report on Fox News yesterday after her maternity leave, as she gears up for the upcoming midterm elections.

During his address in Pennsylvania, Trump pitched a re-industrialization plan aimed at revitalizing the Rust Belt’s economy. He appealed directly to the working-class voters who have been significantly impacted by inflation, driven in part by the ongoing Middle East conflict, and who were instrumental in the rise of his MAGA movement.

Trump also highlighted what he claims as achieved progress in dealings with Iran, underscoring his administration’s diplomatic efforts.

‘We are trying to work out a deal that is fair,’ he said, while adding that the stock market has hit a new high today.

He also bragged that oil and gas prices have shot down.

Trump aggressively leaned into his foreign policy achievements, telling the crowd that his administration’s high–stakes pressure campaign had brought Iran to its knees.

‘We just achieved a historic peace agreement with Iran to end the conflict in the Strait of Hormuz,’ Trump announced, noting that 19 million barrels of oil flowed through the strait just yesterday.

He credited the shift to a devastating military strike targeting Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, which he nicknamed ‘Operation Hammer’

‘Iran will never have a nuclear weapon, and they’ve agreed to that,’ Trump said. ‘We’re leaving Iran with no navy, no air force, no anti–aircraft, no missile capability, no nuclear program. We’re leaving them without any nuclear capacity, and they’ve agreed to that, and we’re getting along quite well.’

He added that the Iranian economy has been ‘crushed’ and its defense industrial base severely damaged, causing oil prices to slide back down to $70 a barrel.

Turning his focus back to the Rust Belt – which he declared had been transformed into the ‘Money Belt’ – Trump championed his aggressive tariff policies as the catalyst for a massive American manufacturing resurgence.

‘Within a single year of taking office, I slashed trade deficit with China by the largest amount in the history of trade… I cut it by 67%,’ he shouted to roaring applause.

He added that the US is currently building three times more factories, including automotive and AI facilities, than at any other point in American history.

Trump took time to list massive, multi–billion–dollar investments directly impacting the crucial battleground state, asserting that ‘more Americans are working today than at any time in the history of our country.’

He mentioned medicine company Eli Lilly, a massive $3.5 billion investment in a brand–new, state–of–the–art manufacturing facility ‘right down the road’ in the Lehigh Valley, creating over 1,000 jobs. He also touted US Steel’s expansion and telecommunications company Nokia’s $30 million to expand semiconductor testing.

The rally featured several high–profile guests who took the stage alongside the President.

Marine Corps veteran Patrick McHugh Jr., a 28–year employee of the Mack Trucks plant, stood on stage with his father and son – representing a combined 78 years of building trucks at the facility.

‘At Mack Trucks, we work hard to build the trucks that help build America,’ McHugh said, thanking Trump for stopping the previous administration’s fuel emission standards and electric vehicle mandates that he claimed would have ‘crushed’ the factory.

In a nod to sports fans, Trump brought out Penn State wrestling icons and UFC stars Bo Nickal and Anthony Cassar, fresh off their appearance at UFC Freedom 250, which was held on the White House lawn.

Before concluding, Trump doubled down on his signature ‘drill, baby, drill’ policy, noting that the US is now the number one producer of oil and gas on Earth – larger than Russia and Saudi Arabia combined.

He also praised the rescue of local coal facilities, mandating that the energy source always be referred to as ‘clean, beautiful coal.’
