Kelly Ripa Absent on ‘Live with Kelly and Mark’; Déjà Vu Steps In as Co-Host with Mark Consuelos

During Wednesday’s episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, viewers were greeted by a familiar face as Mark Consuelos shared the spotlight. With Kelly Ripa temporarily out due to gum graft surgery, one of the show’s own, Déjà Vu, took a seat at the co-host desk.

Regularly known as the voice of the show, Déjà Vu joined Consuelos in steering the show, welcoming guests Chrissy Metz and Cristo Fernández. With Ripa on the mend, Déjà is part of an ensemble cast stepping in as guest co-hosts for the time being.

Although these episodes of Live are fresh on our screens, they were actually filmed prior to airing. According to inside sources, the production team is enjoying their usual summer hiatus. However, fans needn’t worry—the season continues with new episodes until it concludes on August 28. Awaiting announcement is the premiere of Live‘s forthcoming season.

This week’s guest co-host lineup has already featured Sarah Chalke and Jenna Dewan. Déjà, who previously shared her personal journey with Bell’s Palsy on the show, is no stranger to collaborating with both Ripa and Consuelos. As the week progresses, Michelle Buteau will join Consuelos on Thursday, followed by Carrie Coon wrapping up the week on Friday.

French Trans Basketball Star Advocates for WNBA Opportunity

0

Amidst ongoing debates about transgender athletes in women’s sports, French basketball player Julie Tetart expressed her openness to playing in the WNBA if given the opportunity.

Tetart, a 34-year-old who publicly came out as transgender in October 2021, is currently showcasing her skills on the court in Monaco.

Through Instagram messages with OutKick on Monday, Tetart shared, “If they reach out, I won’t turn them down. However, I have to be realistic: I’m older, and many players outshine me in skill!”

She added, “Naturally, like any female basketball player, playing in the WNBA is a childhood dream. But realistically, it’s a challenging dream for me to achieve.”

“I’m enthusiastic about the league, but not the country itself, haha,” she concluded with a touch of humor.

The 6-foot-3 center did not elaborate further.

Tetart gave a one-word response on Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham’s recent remarks on the topic — Cunningham told ESPN she wants to “protect young girls in sport who shouldn’t have to go against biological men.”

“Aucun,” Tetart said in French, which translated to English is, “None.”

In the 2025-26 season, Tetart led France’s second-tier Ligue 2 in both scoring and rebounding — en route to Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Domestic Player of the Year accolades.

Tetart averaged 21.2 points, 20.2 rebounds, and two assists per game during the 2025-26 campaign.

Cunningham’s remarks sparked a wave of debates around the WNBA on the participation of trans athletes in women’s sports.

Some of her fans organized protests at Fever games in support of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model.

Last month, the WTA updated its eligibility policy stating that all players undergo a mandatory one-time gene test — becoming the first professional sports league to go in that direction.

Heartbreaking Final Words: Girl Uncovers Mom and Grandma’s Poisonous Betrayal

0

In an unimaginable tragedy, a courageous 10-year-old girl discerned that her mother and grandmother were secretly poisoning her and her siblings, moments before a devastating murder-suicide ended their lives, officials have reported.

The lifeless bodies of Gracelynn Harmon, her twin brother Gavin, age 10, along with their older siblings Hudson, 11, and Harper, 13, were discovered inside their grandmother’s residence in Mechanicville, New York, on June 23.

Police confirmed that the children’s mother, Sarah Myers, 44, and grandmother, Amy Steadman, 64, had taken their own lives after the horrific incident unfolded.

Mechanicville Police Chief William Rabbitt disclosed in a Tuesday press briefing that Gavin had endured multiple sharp force injuries, while his siblings displayed symptoms of poisoning.

Gracelynn had become conscious of her mother’s and grandmother’s lethal intentions, and uncovered communications paint a chilling picture of her realization just before the tragedy struck, as revealed by police investigations.

‘Why would you do that? You both won’t let me puke,’ Gracelynn, who also went by Gracie, said as she complained of increased pain in her stomach.

Later that night, Amy told her daughter: ‘Gracie is aware,’ and the two of them continued to communicate about their sinister plot.

Investigators recovered electronic files, including text messages between Sarah and Amy that explained how the mother and daughter would get medication and kill the children to ‘protect them,’ Rabbitt said.

He confirmed that Sarah and Amy committed the murders so they could keep the children away from their father, Brady Harmon.

Sarah accused him of domestic violence, but he has denied any wrongdoing and has not been charged with a crime.

She allegedly wanted everyone to be dead before her 6pm call with Harmon on June 10, but when she noticed the cocktail of over-the-counter and prescription medications weren’t doing the job, the killer mom grew frustrated and told her mother: ‘We need another option.’

Police also examined Sarah’s chilling internet search history, which included ‘searches about medication reactions, the effects of insulin on non-diabetics and the Utah court system,’ Rabbitt said.

Other searches she made were ‘Where is the most fatal place to be stabbed,’ the chief said.

The police chief also revealed that Gavin, who was repeatedly stabbed with a knife, also had a defensive wound, ‘indicating that he attempted to protect himself during the attack.’

Sarah and Amy shared their final text exchange around 8.40pm on June 10. Their conversation took place about an hour before surveillance footage caught Amy visiting a nearby gas station.

The grandmother then returned to her apartment, according to Rabbitt.

The children and two women were found dead in the home after a neighbor requested a third welfare check after the family was last seen 13 days before.

During the two initial visits, officers did not enter the apartment, Rabbitt said.

Their bodies were so decomposed that it was hard to identify the victims at first.

An investigation into the horrific tragedy remains ongoing, as the children’s final toxicology results have yet to come back.

When they do, Rabbitt said they likely won’t be shared with the public because authorities are fearful others might replicate what Sarah and Amy did.

‘Amy Steadman and Sarah Myers consistently portrayed these murders as a way of protecting the children,’ Chief Rabbitt said.

‘Whatever they believed justified their actions, the deliberate murder of four children cannot be described as protection.’

Brady previously revealed that he had received 10 letters from Saratoga County Child Protective Services, notifying him that the agency was investigating the living conditions at his children’s home.

The last letter he received stated that Myers was being investigated for Munchausen- by-proxy, he told the Albany Times-Union.

Munchausen- by-proxy is a serious mental health condition and a form of child abuse that sees caretakers, often mothers, make up fake symptoms or cause real symptoms to make it seem like their kid is sick.

Brady said a therapist concluded at the time that Myers was negligent in her care of the children, but they were not in any danger.

‘Nothing happened after that,’ the now-grieving father said, noting that when he went to collect his children’s belongings from Myers’ apartment earlier this month, he found the unit a mess, with cat urine and feces throughout.

The cat has since been rescued by Mechanicville Housing Authority management and has found a permanent home.

Brady also told the outlet he does not know who contacted Child Protective Services on behalf of his children.

But he believes officials at Mechanicville City School District may have alerted the agency, as the letters stopped coming once Myers pulled the children out of the district in 2024 to be homeschooled.

The Daily Mail contacted Brady for comment.

Noel Gallagher and Sara MacDonald: Details of Divorce Settlement Uncovered

The long-standing chapter between Noel Gallagher, famed Oasis guitarist, and his former wife, Sara MacDonald, has officially closed as the couple finalizes their divorce. Sara is reportedly set to receive a substantial financial settlement.

According to sources, Sara, a 52-year-old music publicist, stands to gain approximately £20 million in addition to their lavish £8 million mansion located in Hampshire.

An insider revealed to The Sun, “Sara remained in the residence following their separation, while Noel relocated. It is anticipated she will continue to live there.”

The couple has reportedly managed the proceedings in a discreet manner, steering clear of public drama, thanks to their ability to resolve matters privately.

“Ultimately, their communication relied heavily on legal representatives,” the source added, highlighting the couple’s preference for handling their split through formal channels.

They added that settling on a deal would have been a ‘huge relief’ to them both and that both sides seemed ‘happy enough’.

Things were thought to have become so tense between the estranged couple that they only communicated through lawyers in the final stages of their divorce.

After the settlement, which was drawn up last month, was agreed, both jetted off abroad to celebrate, with Noel landing in Vegas, and Sara joining friends in Ibiza.

MailOnline has contacted Noel’s reps for comment.

Since the split, Noel has been has been living in the lap of luxury at Claridge’s in Mayfair, London, while he waits for his new flat in Maida Vale to be renovated.

The rocker, who now fronts the band High Flying Birds, told how writing his latest album helped him to ‘come to terms’ with the break-up.

He said: ‘Divorce is a long, drawn-out process, so it affects the mood of the album, for sure.

‘When you’re an artist you write about what you know, and I don’t really have much to say about life in general, as I don’t really give a f*** about most things I see on the news.

‘So when things happen in your life that you can articulate, I tend to jump on them, and it makes for better art.’

It comes after Noel recently opened up about his split from Sara in January after 12 years of marriage.

He revealed that the couple ‘grew tired of each other’ which he said was not unusual for couples in their 50s.

Sara is Noel’s second wife, who he met at an Ibiza nightclub Space in 2000, a year before his divorce from his first wife Meg Matthews, 57 – the mother of his eldest child, Anaïs, 23.

The former couple were notorious for a party-hard lifestyle at the height of Brit Pop in the mid ’90s as they lived it up during rowdy nights with north London’s notorious Primrose Hill set, among them supermodel Kate Moss and actress Sadie Frost.

But following their split, it was reported that Noel had an affair with Sara – an allegation they both denied.

Noel and Sara married in 2011 at the Lime Wood Hotel in the New Forest in a £60,000 ceremony with guests including Russell Brand in attendance – but younger brother and former bandmate Liam said he wasn’t invited.

They share sons Donovan, 15, and Sonny, 12.

Trump Hints at Jeanine Pirro’s Future After Fox News Departure

0

President Donald Trump is weighing a critical decision concerning Jeanine Pirro, a steadfast ally and the U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C. Despite her longtime support, Pirro’s position may be at risk. This all stems from a decision by her office to drop charges against Olympian David Hearn, who had been accused of defacing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. Speaking before departing Los Angeles aboard Air Force One, Trump stated he hadn’t yet decided on Pirro’s future. ‘I told her I was not happy,’ he shared, expressing dissatisfaction. Trump emphasized that the pool was indeed vandalized and defended the renovation contractors. ‘I believe she made a huge mistake,’ he noted. ‘Clear evidence of vandalism exists.’ He mentioned that witnesses confirmed seeing the damage, calling it significant.

Trump slams Pirro for dropped charges

The tensions between Trump and Pirro surfaced after attorneys in her jurisdiction dropped the case against Hearn. Trump’s response, overtly frustrated, was heard in the Oval Office where he expressed his discontent. ‘Jeanine Pirro let me down, greatly, by backing out,’ he declared. According to Trump, this was a failure on Pirro’s part to act decisively. Pirro, who has a background as a judge and district attorney, transitioned to Fox News in 2006 and later accepted Trump’s appointment as U.S. Attorney for D.C. in 2025. ‘She seemed to falter,’ Trump added, reflecting an uncertainty about what went wrong.

Pirro defends aide after pool mishap

On Monday night, Pirro was seen heading into the West Wing, likely for a private discussion with Trump. This comes after the president took a personal interest in the $16 million restoration of the reflecting pool, part of his larger Washington, D.C. beautification efforts for the nation’s 250th anniversary. The renovation, despite its acclaim, saw part of its liner unexpectedly detach and float earlier this year, leading to public ridicule. Pirro’s office decided to forgo the federal vandalism case against Hearn after he was caught examining the displaced pool liner back in June.

Case dismissed after new evidence emerges

Authorities from the U.S. Park Police initially detained Hearn, resulting in an indictment for property damage. However, Hearn maintained his innocence. A comprehensive court filing released last Friday introduced new evidence that questioned the foundation of the indictment. The documents illustrated that the pool’s damage was due to faulty installation rather than malice, contradicting the initial claims made by the Interior Department.

Defense calls for case dismissal

‘In light of these revelations, it is challenging to blame the Reflecting Pool’s distress on vandalism, or to prove such claims beyond doubt,’ the court filing concluded. Hearn’s defense argued that the Justice Department should have recognized the case’s weaknesses sooner, as their evidence absolved Hearn of fault. His lawyers have since pressed a judge to dismiss the case indefinitely, preventing any future attempts by Trump’s administration to reinstate it.

Lawyers say pool flaws long documented

They took issue with Pirro's assertion that prosecutors only recently learned about the pre-existing defects at the pool, saying the government had 'disregarded readily available evidence' that the liner was already failing because of installation flaws. 'From the outset, the evidence showed that the pool liner was already failing and that Mr. Hearn did not cause the damage alleged in the indictment,’ Hearn's legal team argued in a 28-page motion filed Tuesday in D.C. Superior Court. The poor condition of the pool was 'plainly visible' for weeks and was publicly documented through photographs, video and news reports, the lawyers wrote. 'Defying both decency and common sense, the government proceeded to indict Mr. Hearn before it had obtained or evaluated the information necessary to establish a good-faith basis for the charge,' the defense attorneys wrote. In addition, they say, the government's key eyewitness was never presented to the grand jury, and a key prosecution witness on the question of damages 'stated that the repairs at issue would have been necessary regardless of Mr. Hearn's alleged conduct and could not identify any additional cost caused by Mr. Hearn.' The contractor, Virginia-based Atlantic Industrial Coatings, 'publicly acknowledged, before Mr. Hearn was indicted, that portions of the project required repair,' the lawyers said.

Defense challenges evidence and timing

The firm was awarded a $14.7 million no-bid contract to repaint and waterproof the pool's concrete floor. Hearn pleaded not guilty last month to one felony count of property destruction and had a trial scheduled to start September 28 in DC Superior Court before the case was dismissed. He was facing a maximum prison sentence of 10 years if convicted, as he was accused of causing at least $1,000 in damage to the pool. Trump appointed the former Fox host to her role in his administration last year after his initial pick, Ed Martin, could not be confirmed because of Republican senator holdouts. Pirro's tenure has been plagued with failures to prosecute the president's political opponents, despite his adamant attempts to do so. She was unable to indict former Federal Reserve Board Chair Jerome Powell for alleged wasteful spending. The former Fox host was also unable to secure indictments against six Democratic lawmakers who had posted a video reminding US military personnel of their obligation to refuse illegal orders. And prosecutors under her watch likewise failed to indict vocal Trump critic New York Attorney General Letitia James for alleged bank fraud and alleged false statements regarding a property purchase.

Courageous Lifeguard Teen Saves 10-Year-Old from Drowning

0

In a gripping tale from Santa Cruz, California, a 10-year-old boy who faced the terrifying force of nature’s waves is recounting the astonishing events that led to his rescue. This near-tragedy has since fostered a remarkable bond between his family and the teenage lifesaver who heroically intervened.

Nathaniel Rai, the young survivor, recently shared with News Media his firsthand experience of the incident. He recounted losing consciousness and ceasing to breathe, just as 16-year-old state lifeguard Ryder Williams managed a daring save amidst the tumultuous waters. Their dramatic and life-affirming rescue was captured in a video that quickly went viral. Once ashore, Nathaniel began to cough up sand, signaling his terrifying experience was finally over.

“Just another couple of seconds in those treacherous waters and Nathaniel would have been swept another 15 to 20 feet away,” explained Nathaniel’s father, Sumit Rai. He vividly described how his son had been on the brink of disaster, where retrieval would have been almost impossible, underscoring the peril of the situation.

Now an ardent admirer of the young lifeguard, Sumit expressed deep gratitude towards Ryder, who is seen as a hero by both families. The White House has reached out to honor this bravery, an accolade Sumit wholly endorses, considering Ryder an indispensable part of their extended family.

According to the Rai family, the terrifying ordeal unfolded during what was supposed to be a relaxing beach vacation from Dallas with Nathaniel, his mother, Annam, and his 8-year-old sister.

Nathaniel said he was at the shallow end and had no intention of going deeper when a massive wave suddenly crashed over him.

“I started screaming for help,” Nathaniel said. “I think I saw the lifeguard and then passed out.”

Sumit said Ryder then swooped in with extreme determination, maintaining a firm grip on Nathaniel throughout the rescue, knowing that even a momentary loss of control could have sent the boy farther out into the dangerous surf.

“He was limp and unconscious in the water at that time when Ryder was holding him, which is really difficult to do, because he’s carrying about 100 pounds of essentially dead weight through that current and those water forces,” Sumit added.

By the time Nathaniel was brought back to the beach, he had regained consciousness and was breathing again, but he was coughing up sand that had entered his lungs. Emergency personnel evaluated him and warned the family about “secondary drowning,” potentially life-threatening complications that can develop hours after a drowning event.

Sumit said he was in Dallas when he learned what happened, but the viral video of the rescue added another layer of shock to the frightening ordeal.

“It was terrifying,” he said. “When you look at that, you look at him submerged under the water, you look at the water conditions, the rip tides, the rip currents, the under toes, the 10-foot waves. I mean those are deadly water conditions.”

The father said he remains deeply grateful for Ryder’s courage and determination, adding that he has become the teenager’s biggest supporter, especially after President Donald Trump publicly suggested honoring him for his heroic efforts.

“I’m a fan of every single medal, award, honor, or recognition that he can get,” Sumit said. “I’m 1 billion percent behind it. I am by far his biggest fan and so I’d love to be there and advocate for him and support him.”

After Nathaniel returned to Texas, the two families have reportedly developed a close bond, with Sumit saying Ryder and his family now feel like an extension of his own.

Sumit reportedly connected with Ryder’s father, Shane, for a lengthy phone call, and the two have remained in daily contact.

Both parents have also discussed attending a UFC fight together after discovering their shared passion for UFC and MMA. Nathaniel has trained in MMA since he was 4 years old and is a Jiu-Jitsu champion at the US Open Jiu-Jitsu World League.

“He liked UFC fights, like me and my dad and his dad,” Nathaniel said.

“One of the things we’re planning to do is all go to a fight together and meet up for that. So the four of us will go,” his dad added.

According to Sumit, Ryder’s father, Shane, is a retired firefighter, while Ryder hopes to follow in his father’s footsteps and become one.

Coincidentally, Sumit runs Cancer Check Labs, a charity and business that screens firefighters for cancer risks associated with their profession.

Nathaniel has also been involved with the organization for several years, participating in lab work, exhibitions and even conferences, his father said.

“There were just multiple areas that we were connecting,” Summit said. “I think that’s a bond that we’re going to have for the rest of our lives. I think of them like an extended family at this point. Even I haven’t even met them, which is kind of surreal. I’m looking forward to meeting them soon.”

Nathaniel, who is preparing to enter sixth grade, said he is happy to be back in Dallas spending the rest of the summer with his father. In his downtime, he enjoys playing chess, watching movies and playing board games like Monopoly with his dad.

Australia’s Counter-Terror Police Initiate Historic Probe Following Devastating Arson Attack

0

A Melbourne defense firm has become the focus of a terrorism investigation after an arson attack believed to be motivated by pro-Palestinian sentiments. Counter-terror police are delving into the perpetrators’ motives.

In the early hours of July 5, Lovitt Technologies, a machining manufacturer, was targeted by arsonists who set three vehicles ablaze and defaced a building with graffiti.

The Victorian Joint Counter Terrorism team (JCTT), which includes Australian Federal Police (AFP), Victoria Police, and ASIO, has shared images of the alleged criminals. They are investigating whether the attack was carried out by “far-left activists with anarchist and revolutionary ideologies.”

The group reportedly targeted the company due to its connections with the defense force supply chain. They claimed responsibility in an online video where they also provided guidance for executing similar attacks.

The JCTT explained that the suspects “outlined a number of grievances in support of Palestine,” alleging that they aimed at Lovitt Technologies because of its perceived role in the broader Australian Defence Force supply network.

Images released by the AFP show a suspect wearing all black clothing, standing in front of a Palestinian flag. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags are also displayed in the foreground.

In 2023, Lovitt secured a $1.5 million grant to continue work on the global Joint Strike Fighter program — a US-led F35 fighter jet construction program of which Israel is a key recipient.

The JCCT has confirmed to SBS News that the terror investigation, known as Operation Braehead, is the first to specifically target pro-Palestinian activism in Australia since the October 7 attacks. The charges carry a life sentence as a maximum penalty.

“We cannot overstate the seriousness of this criminality and the AFP, together with our partners, will not tolerate acts of terror motivated by extremist ideologies aiming to cause fear and anguish in our community,” AFP detective superintendent Anthony Hall said in a statement.

“At any time, we could be knocking on the door of the accused group. We know this is making some in the group anxious — and it should, because we are determined to bring them before the courts.”

Victoria Police detective acting superintendent Anthony Wheatfill said companies and employees “have the right to go about their daily business safely and securely.”

“That anyone would use such violent and dangerous methods to express a political or social viewpoint is unacceptable.”

Authorities have urged drivers in the area with potential dashcam footage and others with knowledge of the offenders to come forward.

In June, ASIO director-general Mike Burgess singled out arson and vandalism attacks on firms believed to be linked to Israel.

An aerial view of a warehouse. A car and two people clad in black clothing are on the ground.

“I recognise that criticism of the government of Israel is not of itself antisemitic, but some of the threatening statements made by the perpetrators go well beyond political protest or commentary,” he said at the organisation’s annual threat assessment.

Defence Minister Richard Marles has repeatedly denied claims Australia is exporting weapons to Israel, describing the supply of F35 components as a “separate issue” comprising supply chains organised by US weapons manufacturer Lockheed Martin, the Joint Strike Fighter’s prime contractor.

The Victorian JCTT is also probing the 2024 antisemitic attack on the Adass Synagogue, with a third man charged in June.
