Shocking Discovery: .30 Caliber Bullet Jacket Unveiled in Charlie Kirk’s Autopsy Report

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) has released a report revealing that a bullet jacket from a .30 caliber round was discovered during the autopsy of Charlie Kirk.

Charlie Kirk was tragically assassinated on September 10, 2025. On the following day, FBI Special Agent Robert Bohls informed Breitbart News that law enforcement had located the rifle suspected to be the murder weapon.

Bohls characterized the firearm as a “high-power, bolt-action rifle.”

According to the New York Post, the rifle was identified as a “30-06-caliber Mauser bolt-action rifle.” This .30-06 caliber has been a favored choice among big-game hunters in the U.S. and falls within the .30 caliber category.

The ATF report detailed that Kirk’s autopsy uncovered a “.30-caliber class deformed/damaged bullet jacket fragment and four lead fragments.”

Legal commentator Andrea Burkhart pointed out, “The jacket fragment shared class characteristics with Tyler Robinson’s Mauser 98 rifle, so the rifle couldn’t be excluded as having fired the bullet. But the fragment lacks individual characteristics permitting identification of one rifle to the exclusion of all others in the class.”

Utah has informed the legal team for alleged Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson that “The FBI lab intends to conduct Virtual Comparison Microscopy (VCM) analysis on the bullet jacket fragment to examine any markings that the rifle imparted to the fragment. This analysis is non-destructive and employs technology to capture multiple scans of the object.”

In a court filing, Utah noted that “The State also intends to conduct metallurgical testing on at least one of the recovered lead fragments. This testing involves taking a small scraping from the fragment. The examiner will document the area from which the scraping is taken. The examiner will not take a scraping from an area that would affect additional ballistics analysis through either VCM or LCM analysis.”

In addition to the bullet jacket fragment and the lead fragments, the ATF or FBI possesses one spent .30.06 shell casing and three unspent .30.06 cartridges, which were found following the assassination.

Reflecting on the significance of the event, Kyla Pratt expressed her emotions and confirmed Penny’s Disneyland debut. “Penny Proud officially made her DISNEYLAND debut April 12, 2026 during Disney Channel Night at DISNEYLAND park!” she shared. “Knowing how much this show means to so many people and seeing a character I have grown up playing be acknowledged in this way is an unreal feeling.”

She also spoke about creator Bruce W. Smith and what it meant to see his work recognized in that setting. “Watching @brucealmighteee witness a character he created being celebrated at this magnitude was heartwarming,” Pratt shared. “I love yall and love being apart of this journey. Thank you.”

The Proud Family premiered in 2001 and ran for two seasons before ending in 2005. The series returned in 2022 with The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, and brought back several original cast members. A fourth season is expected later this year.

Guests visiting Disneyland on April 16 can still see Penny in the park, where she appears alongside other Disney Channel characters for photos.

It’s not known whether Penny will remain at Disneyland Resort or if her appearance was limited to Disney Channel Nite.

The 56-year-old actress will make a guest appearance as Shauni, as reported by Deadline. Eleniak was a key figure during the first two seasons of Baywatch, although she left the show during its third season.

Joining Eleniak in the reboot are fresh faces, including Brooks Nader, a model who has transitioned into reality TV and acting, and Livvy Dunne, a popular influencer and former gymnast.

In her upcoming storyline, Shauni — who’s now a city councilwoman in seaside Santa Monica — will be dropping by the series to help Hobie Buchannon put on the first-annual Beach Games, which will feature the Baywatch lifeguards squaring off with members of the Coast Guard in a series of competitions.

In a strange twist, Hobie, who was the son of David Hasselhoff’s character Mitch Buchannon, is returning as a regular of the new version of the show, but he has been recast, with Arrow’s Stephen Amell taking up the role.

The part was previously played in Baywatch’s first season by Brandon Call, though Jeremy Jackson is most identified with the role after taking it over for the remainder of the series. 

Amell will be taking over the lead role on the new Baywatch in a similar position to Hasselhoff on the original series.

He’s now been bumped up from a regular lifeguard to the captain of the Baywatch team, a role his father previously held.

But even as he deals with the everyday grind of oceanside rescues, Hobie has to contend with a new stressor: the appearance of his daughter, Charlie, with whom he doesn’t have a relationship.

Charlie (played by Jessica Belkin) creates a major headache for Hobie when she decides to join Baywatch as a lifeguard. 

Other stars of the reboot include Noah Beck, Hassie Harrison, Thaddeus LaGrone, Pretty Little Liars actress Shay Mitchell and David Chokachi, who’s back playing Cody Madison.

Fans of the original Baywatch may be in for a surprise when Eleniak makes her guest appearance, as the blond beauty has added massive sleeves of tattoos on her arms in recent years.

It’s unclear if she’ll only be back for a single episode or if Shauni’s role as a city councilwoman means she’ll be back for more episodes in the future.

In 2018, Eleniak spoke with Fox News about her time on Baywatch, which premiered in 1989 and ended its run after 11 seasons in 2001. 

‘It really was just like a big family, honestly,’ she said of her former costars. ‘Brothers and sisters. There was this big camaraderie, and we had a lot of lifeguards and paramedics [on set] that were real because one of the main creators was a real lifeguard…’

She added that ‘there was a real brotherhood among all the lifeguards… The cast and crew were just really amazing.’

However, she decided that her time on the series would have to come to an end after she started to feel that Baywatch was becoming ‘a little risqué.’

But the decision to leave the show also opened her up to take more appealing film roles.

‘But for me, I wasn’t super comfortable, but that wasn’t the main motivation for me [to leave]. It really wasn’t. My heart was in films, and it was calling,’ she said.

At a detention facility known colloquially as “Alligator Alcatraz,” located in the Florida Everglades, guards allegedly inflicted severe physical abuse on migrant detainees, reportedly using pepper spray and causing injuries to their heads, shoulders, and wrists. This information comes from an attorney representing two of the affected individuals.

According to attorney Katherine Blankenship, the incident was triggered when several detainees at this state-operated center voiced grievances about inadequate access to phone services earlier this month. In a formal statement, she outlined that the guards responded to these complaints with hostility.

For those held within the facility, phones serve as the primary link to both family members and legal counsel. However, detainees found themselves unable to use this vital communication tool due to technical issues.

The conflict reportedly escalated when guards began to mock the detainees while they were confined in a cell. Blankenship described a situation where the guards’ hostility intensified, culminating in threats to forcibly enter the cell.

One detainee was punched in the face after walking up to a guard. The guards then began beating other detainees in the cell.

Blankenship said one of her clients was punched in the right eye, thrown to the floor and beaten by several guards. She said guards kicked him in the head and injured his shoulder and arm. A guard also put his knee on the detainee’s neck while restraining him, according to the attorney.

Included in the declaration is a photo taken during a video call nearly a week after the beating showing the detainee with a bruised eye.

“The officers beat several people during this incident and broke another detained individual’s wrist,” Blankenship wrote, noting that the detainee whose wrist was broken is not among her clients.

Phone service was restored the following day, although officials failed to provide any explanation as to why it was cut off.

Blankenship’s declaration was part of a court filing alleging that state and federal officials have not complied with a federal judge’s preliminary injunction last month ordering the detention center to offer detainees access to timely, free, confidential, unmonitored and unrecorded calls with their attorneys.

U.S. District Judge Sheri Polster Chappell directed officials to provide at least one operable telephone for every 25 people held in the facility.

The judge’s order came after a lawsuit that argued that officials at the facility were violating detainees’ First Amendment rights.

State officials have denied claims of restricting detainees’ access to their attorneys, pointing to security and staffing issues for any cutoffs. Federal officials, who are also defendants in the case, denied that detainees’ First Amendment rights were violated.

Last week, state officials filed a notice saying they intend to appeal the judge’s ruling.

The facility has been slapped with several lawsuits since it was built over the summer.

The detention facility was constructed last year by Gov. Ron DeSantis’ administration to support President Donald Trump’s plan to mass detain and deport migrants. Officials in the Sunshine State also built a second immigration detention center in northern Florida.

During a visit last week to the detention center, U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., said she was not given the opportunity to speak with detainees. 

The lawmaker also described conditions at the detention center as “inhumane” and “cruel.”

“The way the detainees are housed is cruel and unnecessary,” she said.

Tragic Incident: Teen’s Gunfire Claims Life of Uber Driver Amidst Passenger Dispute

An Oregon teenager has been taken into custody in relation to the deadly shooting of an Uber driver.

The suspect, now 18, was only 16 when he allegedly fired at a rideshare vehicle on June 4, 2024. This tragic incident led to the death of 42-year-old Uber driver Joshua Kelvin and injured one of his two teenage passengers. Nearly two years following the incident, Multnomah County prosecutors revealed that the suspect’s intended targets were the teenagers inside the vehicle when he attacked the Uber. The uninjured passenger managed to escape on foot, while Kelvin was declared dead at the scene.

As reported by The Oregonian, the suspect appeared in court for the first time on Tuesday, facing a slew of charges related to the tragic event, including second-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder. Given his age at the time of the crime, the case is being handled in juvenile court.

Deputy District Attorney Devin Franklin detailed in court that the suspect, along with another unidentified individual, orchestrated the attack targeting the two teenagers, aged 17 and 18 at that time. Kelvin, the Uber driver, was tragically caught in the crossfire. According to a report by local ABC affiliate KATU, prosecutors stated that the suspect discharged his weapon “17 to 18 times” at the intended victims.

The younger passenger endured seven or eight gunshot wounds, resulting in severe injuries, while the older teenager managed to flee the scene. Franklin noted that the older teen was subsequently shot later that month with the same firearm used in the Uber attack. Although Franklin did not directly implicate the suspect in this later shooting, he informed the court that the suspect allegedly used the same gun to harm another individual in January 2025.

Franklin said the injured teenager continues to deal with the injuries he sustained almost two years after the alleged shooting.

KATU reported that the suspect was not in custody when he arrived at court, but a judge ordered him to be taken into custody following the hearing on Tuesday.

The suspect was charged with second-degree murder, two counts of attempted murder, two counts of conspiracy to commit murder, first- and second-degree assault, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, and attempt to commit a Class A felony. His next court date was not available.

It’s unclear whether Adams himself created the AI-generated image.

There are minor variations between the two images. In Adams’ version, a man in the background sports a hat with “Veteran” clearly written on it.

In Trump’s version of the image, the lettering on the hat is not readable.

In Adams’ picture, it appears to be a group of soldiers hovering above the clouds. In Trump’s, the figures are less clear and one appears to have horns and wings.

Another AI-generated image Adams posted in February also depicts Trump as Jesus Christ, blessing a man with his touch while surrounded by people in what appears to be New Testament-era clothing.

“President Trump is healing this nation and its people on a biblical scale,” wrote Adams.

Since moving to the United States, Adams has become a prominent Trump backer and commentator.

Adams, born Nicholas Adamopoulos, was nominated by Trump to be America’s ambassador to Malaysia.

But that nomination was later withdrawn and he was named Special Presidential Envoy for American Tourism, Exceptionalism, and Values, a role that was created for him.

Adams renounced his Australian citizenship in 2021.

Axios reported today that Trump’s housing finance chief Bill Pulte was the person who brought the Jesus meme to the president’s attention before he posted it.

Trump, who rarely backs down from criticism, made the rare move of deleting the post after copping flak from Christians across the world.

But he rebuffed accusations he was likening himself to Jesus, instead claiming he thought he was being depicted as a doctor.

The post came as Trump lashed out at Pope Leo XIV after the pontiff espoused the importance of seeking peace.

“Pope Leo is WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy,” Trump wrote.

“I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s OK for Iran to have a Nuclear Weapon.”

The president accused the pope of “catering to the radical left”.

The pope had not criticised the president by name.

“”I will not enter into debate. The things that I say are certainly not meant as attacks on anyone,” Pope Leo said.

“The message of the Gospel is very clear: ‘Blessed are the peacemakers’.”

Blake Shelton has stepped away from The Voice after an impressive 23-season run. The country music star explained that his departure had been on his mind for some time, and he is thrilled to now have more opportunities to spend with his family. Although Shelton has expressed no current intention to return, he did hint at one possible exception: the show’s significant 30th season.

‘The Voice’ reportedly wants Blake Shelton back for its 30th season

As the much-anticipated 30th season of The Voice draws near, NBC is reportedly eager to entice Shelton back into his coaching chair. Having been an integral part of the show since its inception, Shelton’s involvement is highly valued, especially with Adam Levine making a comeback to the coaching panel.

“For season 30, they want to make a grand statement since it’s a milestone year,” a source disclosed to the U.S. Sun. “The lineup is still being finalized, with production for the 30th season not kicking off until late spring or early summer 2026. There’s ample time for adjustments, and season 29 is still ahead. However, producers are determined to secure a deal to reunite Blake and Adam, a pairing they’ve long desired, and they believe season 30 is the perfect opportunity.”

In addition to Shelton and Levine, there are talks of bringing Kelly Clarkson and Gwen Stefani back into the fold as well. However, this ensemble cast won’t come together easily.

“The biggest hurdle is getting Blake and Gwen on board again, which will likely be costly for the show,” the source revealed. “Plus, scheduling Kelly for consecutive seasons poses a challenge given her hectic timetable and recent tough year. There are many factors to juggle, but the producers are keen on making it all happen.”

“The biggest challenge is getting Blake and Gwen back at all, it’s most likely going to cost the show a fortune to make that happen,” the source said. “And also booking Kelly on back-to-back seasons with her busy schedule and tough year. A lot of moving parts but they want to make it work.”

At this point, nothing is official, though.

Blake Shelton shared the only way he’d return to ‘The Voice’

Shelton has already shared the only scenario that would get him to return to the show. After exiting, he said he felt good about the decision. Still, he would come back if the original judges all did too.

“If they were ever able to put together the original four coaches again, maybe [I’d return] for one season, a one-off,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “That would be fun for me… That would be something I would be interested in doing.”

Shelton, Levine, Christina Aguilera, and CeeLo Green were the show’s original judges. Of the original four, only Levine is on the show right now.

He once said he stayed on the show for too long

Shelton is The Voice’s longest-running judge. He said he never intended to stay for as long as he did.

“To be totally honest about it, I wasn’t even planning on being there that long,” Shelton said on The Jennifer Hudson Show (per Rolling Stone). “I was planning on wrapping it up around 20 or 21 seasons, and then obviously COVID hit, and then I didn’t want to walk out on the show in the middle of COVID, and them trying to scramble and figure out [what to do].”

He said that while he liked his time on the show, he didn’t exactly miss it when he left.

“So, I stayed,” he said. “I didn’t have anything to do anyway, so I stayed a little bit longer. But I stayed too long for me to now miss it, I can promise you that.”

LAS VEGAS — On Wednesday, AMC Theatres revealed a $2 increase in the monthly cost of its Stubs A-List subscription, marking the second price hike in just over a year.

Starting July 15, the membership fee will rise to $29.99 per month in New York and California, while other states will see the cost reach $27.99.

This subscription offers members the opportunity to watch up to four movies weekly, including access to premium experiences like Dolby Cinema and IMAX. Additional benefits include waived ticketing fees, priority concession lanes, and complimentary upgrades for fountain drinks and popcorn.

The announcement, made by AMC CEO Adam Aron via email to subscribers, was strategically timed alongside CinemaCon, the prominent industry event in Las Vegas.

In his message, Aron noted, “We haven’t notified you of a price increase in A-List for over a year, despite rising operational costs at our theatres.” He emphasized that even with the new pricing, the membership remains “an excellent value” for frequent moviegoers who enjoy premium-format films.

The increase is the latest in a series of price adjustments since the program launched. When AMC introduced Stubs A-List in 2018, customers paid $19.95 per month for up to three movies per week. The subscription was conceived as a rival to MoviePass, which offered an unsustainable model of one movie per day for $9.95 per month before filing for bankruptcy.

In May 2025, AMC raised A-List to $27.99 per month in New York and California and $25.99 elsewhere, while adding a fourth weekly movie reservation to the plan. This latest increase carries no new benefits.

Some subscribers reacting to the news on Reddit noted that the membership is still a great value, especially for moviegoers who frequently see IMAX movies. Others took issue with the tone of Aron’s email, which included several paragraphs about AMC’s business before disclosing the price change, prompting criticism that the company was attempting to bury the announcement.

The price hike comes at a critical time for the film industry, with theater attendance stagnating and annual domestic box-office grosses still down about 20% from pre-pandemic levels, intense competition from streaming and inflation increasing overhead costs.

“When I was 20, I visited Wallops Island, Virginia, and witnessed a cargo launch. I saw a colleague moderating a press conference, and it clicked—I belonged there. NASA needed communications experts. From that moment, my focus was unwavering. I was determined to work at NASA,” she shared.

A communications degree from a Georgia college led the way to the Mission Control Console at NASA, giving Leah a front row seat to history.

“Yeah, I think that I’m still living in this bubble of having worked so closely on it that it’s now it’s starting to hit me how global it was. It was incredible. It’s still incredible. I’m working with the crew tomorrow and I can’t wait to see them. I saw them on Saturday and I’m excited to see just how their perspectives have, like, shifted since then.”

Leah says a big goal in covering an event as significant as the lunar flyby is ensuring that people stop and remember where they were, pass that story down to their grandkids, and inspire the next generation.

“I feel like we live in a world that it’s so easy to swipe up on your phone to the next story. We’re used to getting views of everything in the world– now. But getting to see something like this is a generational moment, and I think it’s inspirational and really uplifting. It’s something that we should all be really proud of, um, for our nation’s space program, for these astronauts that have joined and really done this huge mission.”

She’s inspiring herself, getting praise from viewers around the world, who see Leah as the face of a group of women, who played a big role in making the Artemis mission a success.

“A lot of people loved that! All the women involved.”

“Yeah, I, that really was serendipitous, too. We didn’t just think, let’s put all these women’s voices on camera, you know, it’s, these are the roles that we’ve been working in and training for, and that’s just how it happened. It’s very, very sweet, though, to hear that it’s inspiring. This feels like our generation’s Apollo 8 in a way. You know, looking back on Earth and everything that we think is so important and that we think matters so much, and then you see how far away and how small it really is. It definitely makes you think twice about what really matters, you know, how can we be a better neighbor? And how can I just cherish everything that I have even more?”

Leah is from Georgia. She graduated 10 years ago from Young Harris College in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains.

Fun fact: in 2018, she was doing a story about interns at NASA who went on to work there… one of them was the Chief Engineer of the Aviation Safety Office. She and Nick Mustachio were married 4 years later, and now have a precious little boy… who may well wind up exploring the moon one day!!

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) – Illinois basketball enthusiasts received exciting news regarding the return of three pivotal players, contributing to the anticipation of the 2026 Final Four journey.

The team announced through social media that Jake Davis, along with brothers Zvonimir and Tomislav Ivisic, will be returning to bolster the Illinois lineup for the 2026-27 season.

Tomislav Ivisic, who completed his second season with the team in 2025-26, posted impressive averages of 10.4 points and 5.6 rebounds. Initially starting his collegiate career as a sophomore, the Croatian center benefited from the NCAA’s decision due to his prior international playing experience.

Zvonimir Ivisic, having transferred from Kentucky and Arkansas under the guidance of John Calipari, marked his third collegiate season in Champaign. During the 2025-26 season, he contributed 6.4 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, with a shooting percentage of 28% from beyond the arc.

Jake Davis also wrapped up his second season in Champaign in 2025-26 after transferring from Mercer, where he spent his freshman year honing his skills and setting the stage for his role with the Illini.

The McCordsville, Indiana native moved into the starting lineup mid-year for the Illini as a junior, and averaged 5.4 points per game. He shot 40.6% from three-point land in 2025-26, up from 34.4% in his first year with the Illini.

Earlier on Wednesday, David Mirkovic announced his return to Illinois.

Illinois graduated AJ Redd, Kylan Boswell and Ben Humrichous.

Underwood’s staff has four commits coming in from the high school class of 2026: Lucas Morillo, Ethan Brown, Landon Davis and Quentin Coleman.

Stefan Vaaks has committed to Illinois out of the transfer portal after one season at Providence.
