Chiara Ziccardi Accident Linked To Death: What Happened?

According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, Chiara was traveling south on Cornwallis Road before the accident.

The road was wet due to heavy rain that had fallen earlier that day. Chiara’s car hit the water on the road, lost traction and spun out of control.

She crossed the center line and crashed into a northbound car that was carrying a young woman and two young children.

The impact was so severe that Chiara’s car was almost split in half. Chiara suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.

The other driver and the children were taken to WakeMed in Raleigh for treatment. They were reported to be in stable condition.

The Highway Patrol said there were no charges in the accident, which happened about two miles west of Clayton. They also said that speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash.

However, they advised drivers to be careful when driving on wet roads and to slow down when encountering standing water.

Chiara Ziccardi Obituary: Family Mourns The Loss

Chiara Ziccardi was born in Rome, Italy, on June 15, 2000. She moved to the United States with her family when she was six years old.

She grew up in Clayton, North Carolina, where she attended Clayton High School. Chiara graduated in 2018 with honors and a passion for acting.

The teenager pursued her dream of becoming an actress and landed several roles in movies and TV shows.

She was best known for her role as Chiara, a paraplegic woman who falls in love with a billionaire, in the movie “Billionaire Falls In Love With Disabled Cinderella.”

Ziccardi also played the role of Chiara, a rebellious teenager who gets into trouble with her family, in the TV show “Dirty Linen.”

She was loved by her fans for her beauty, talent and charisma. Her family and friends also loved her for her generosity, compassion and humor.

She is survived by her parents, Marco and Lucia Ziccardi; her brother, Matteo Ziccardi; her grandparents, Giuseppe and Maria Ziccardi; and many other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on October 28, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clayton. A burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

The family requests that donations be made to the Spinal Cord Injury Association of America (SCIAA) in lieu of flowers.
