Was Miya Marcano Found? The person of interest in her disappearance was found dead on Monday. Here is what we know about Miya’s disappearance so far.

Marcano is a student at Valencia College, Orlando, Florida, who went missing last Friday. The authorities are still searching for her as a person of interest in the case was found dead on September 27. 

Miya lived and worked at an apartment complex Arden Villas about a mile from the University of Central Florida. She was working at the apartment complex and got off around 5 pm on September 24. Around 30 minutes prior, a maintenance worker used a master key to access Miya’s apartment. 

Was Miya Marcano Found?

Marcano is not yet found. The search for the college student is still continued as her family members passed out fliers in the Orlando area. On Tuesday, the search was focused on the wooded area behind her apartment complex and the University of Central Florida, reports The Sun.

Miya is not on Wikipedia, however, one can read about her case on a couple of Wiki-bio pages. She was 19 years of age during the time of her disappearance. 

Talking about her height and weight, Marcano is five feet tall and weighs around 130 pounds. She has green eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, red shirt, and jeans.

Miya Marcano’s father, Marlon Marcano, and her mother, Suling Marcano, traveled from Fort Lauderdale to Orlando after her missing person report was filed. 

She was supposed to fly out to Fort Lauderdale to see her parents on Friday but never showed up. Marlon even spoke to the media about her disappearance on Saturday. He last spoke to his daughter on Friday afternoon. 

 

 

Marlon is originally from Trinidad and currently lives with his family in Fort Lauderdale.

Who Was The Suspect?

The suspect was Armando Caballero, who worked as a maintenance worker at the apartment complex. He was getting investigated by the Sheriff’s office and was considered a person of interest in the case. Armando showed a romantic interest in Marcano and got repeatedly rejected by her. 

During the questioning, he told the deputies he had last seen Miya at work around 3 pm. The deputies issued an arrest warrant for him after finding out he used a master key to get into her apartment, reports USA Today.

The authorities found him dead at another apartment complex, and it appears that he had killed himself.
