MEMORISE: And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. – John 14:3 (KJV)

READ: Revelation 21:1-27 (KJV)

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.

10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.

14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.

18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;

20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.

21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Proverbs 21-23

Open Heaven 6 July 2026 MESSAGE

The first time I travelled to the United States of America was in the summer of 1979, and I had an experience that can be described as heavenly. I stayed in Tulsa, and in that city, the sun would still be up late into the evening. The streets were so clean that it felt like one could eat off them. The bathroom of my hotel room had three faucets: one for hot water, another for warm water, and the last for cold water. Also, the electricity never went out, and everything was just fantastic. After two weeks, I returned to Nigeria, and as the plane was about to land, I looked out of the window and noticed a stark difference between where I was coming from and where I was returning to, because in those days Nigeria was far less developed than it is now.

Beloved, my experience in Tulsa, all those years ago, can in no way be compared to heaven. In heaven, there is no night at all because, in today’s Bible reading, we are made to understand that “…the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof” (Revelation 21:23). Heaven is a beautiful place that no one should miss, and I pray that you will not miss it, in Jesus’ name.

Heaven is God’s promise to all believers. Jesus said in today’s memory verse that where He is, we will also be. If you have given your life to Jesus and you are following Him faithfully, you will end up where He is at the end of your earthly sojourn. When children go to school, they know that at the end of the school day, they will return home to their parents. Likewise, if God is truly your Father, you have an assurance that you will reign with Him in eternity after your sojourn here on earth. However, only those who have surrendered their lives to Jesus can be children of God, and only His children can spend eternity with Him in heaven.

Beloved, are you sure of where you will spend eternity? If you want your stay in heaven to be guaranteed, you must not allow sin in your heart. You must be fully committed to Jesus Christ and do His will at all times. I have made up my mind to shun sin and be fully committed to Jesus Christ so I can spend my eternity with Him in heaven. Will I see you there?

Open Heaven 6 July 2026 REFLECTION

Where will you spend eternity, Heaven or Hell?

Open Heaven 6 July 2026 HYMN 20 – I’m Pressing On The Upward Way

1 I’m pressing on the upward way,
New heights I’m gaining ev’ry day;
Still praying as I’m onward bound,
“Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.”

Refrain:
Lord, lift me up, and let me stand
By faith, on heaven’s tableland;
Where love, and joy, and light abound,
Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.

2 My heart has no desire to stay
Where doubts arise and fears dismay;
Though some may dwell where these abound,
My prayer, my aim, is higher ground.

3 Beyond the mist I fain would rise,
To rest beneath unclouded skies,
Above earth’s turmoil peace is found,
By those who dwell on higher ground.

4 I long to scale the utmost height,
Though rough the way, and hard the flight,
My song, while climbing, shall resound,
Lord, lead me on to higher ground

5 Lord, lead me up the mountain side,
I dare not climb without my Guide;
And, heaven gained, I’ll gaze around,
With grateful heart from higher ground.

Tragic July 4th Fireworks Blast: One Dead, Three Injured in Devastating Accident

0

A man faces an involuntary manslaughter charge following a tragic Fourth of July fireworks explosion in Southern California, which claimed the life of a woman in her 20s, injured three others, and set a vehicle ablaze.

The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday along the 5600 block of D Street in Chino. Police responded to reports of a car fire and discovered several individuals with severe injuries.

Authorities believe the explosion was caused by a large quantity of fireworks igniting, which subsequently led to a vehicle catching fire.

Officials have identified the suspect as 28-year-old Derion Tradon James Jr. from Hesperia. He was apprehended at the scene and later booked into the West Valley Detention Center on charges of manslaughter.

According to jail records, James is being held on a $50,000 bail and is due to appear in court on Tuesday morning.

Four people were taken to a hospital following the explosion, including three adults and one juvenile, NBC reported.

Officials announced Sunday morning that a woman in her 20s had died from her injuries at a local hospital.

The two other injured adults suffered serious injuries but are expected to survive, while the juvenile was taken to the hospital for evaluation before being released to family members.

“Based on the preliminary investigation, detectives believe a large quantity of fireworks ignited, causing an explosion,” the Chino Police Department said, confirming the blast also caused a vehicle to catch fire.

The investigation remains ongoing.

DCLM Daily Manna 6 July 2026 — Blessings for Obedience

DCLM Daily Manna 6 July 2026 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Blessings for Obedience

TOPIC: Blessings for Obedience (DCLM Daily Manna 6 July 2026)

KEY VERSE: And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee – Deuteronomy 28:10

TEXT: Deuteronomy 28:1-14 (KJV)

1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.

3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.

4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.

5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.

6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

7 The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.

8 The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

9 The Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways.

10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord; and they shall be afraid of thee.

11 And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

12 The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.

13 And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

DCLM Daily Manna For Today MESSAGE:

The blessings of God often come with conditions. This is reflected in today’s text. Although God adopted Israel as His chosen people, there were certain standards of behaviour, compliance and worship that would confer the blessings on them. By obeying, they would remain in a right relationship with Him, receive His blessing, and bring glory to His name.

That was the purpose of God for His people. Its fulfilment was conditional upon their obedience. They were to observe strict alignment with the Lord who redeemed them from the tyrannical grip of Egypt: “…if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments…” Having made this general declaration, Moses proceeded to describe the blessings, which would follow obedience. In the light of the subsequent history of these people, we see how literally all these things were fulfilled. How solemn and searching this old-time story is for us!

In Christ, the law as given to Moses is done away with, because He has given us a higher law, which far transcends the former in standard and purity. In reality however, the principles remain. Obedience still results in blessings. It is still when we hearken diligently unto the voice of God, to observe to do His commandments, that we are blessed above all the nations and people of the earth.

With us, also, as with the people of Israel, the divine intention of our exaltation is not that we should act like tyrants over the brethren, people or neighbours around us, and hold them in contempt; but that we should serve them, and lead them into the blessings of redemption and justification.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Unqualified obedience brings unparalleled blessings.

99-Year-Old WWII Veteran Finally Receives Purple Heart After 80-Year Wait

0

Finally, after more than eighty years of waiting, a Kentucky World War II veteran, who was injured while fighting against Nazi Germany, received one of the United States’ most revered military awards.

Glenn Fisher, a 99-year-old Army veteran, spent 81 years anticipating the day he would be honored with the Purple Heart. On Wednesday, his long wait ended as he was formally acknowledged for the sacrifices he endured on the battlefield.

During an emotional ceremony at Louisville’s Frazier History Museum, Fisher expressed his disbelief and joy over finally receiving the recognition. “I’ve been so excited, I haven’t been able to sleep at night thinking about what a wonderful thing is happening,” he shared. “Sometimes I’d wake up and say, ‘now, is this really true?’ And it is, it’s really true.”

The Purple Heart, which honors U.S. service members who were wounded or killed due to enemy actions, arrives for Fisher just months before his milestone 100th birthday. This recognition comes after several unsuccessful attempts over the years to have his wartime injuries formally acknowledged.

WHAS11 first reported Fisher’s story in March as he sought to receive the award before turning 100.

According to previous reporting by WHAS11, Fisher enlisted in the Army in 1943 at just 16 years old after obtaining his parents’ permission. He later landed on Utah Beach in France and was wounded on March 25, 1945, while waiting to cross the Rhine River after German artillery struck his unit.

Fisher previously said his injuries were never properly documented during the war, which he said delayed his receiving the Purple Heart.

“Never did hear back from them,” Fisher previously said of one of his early attempts to obtain the medal.

Years later, he tried again but said the Army informed him it could not find sufficient evidence to approve the award.

Despite those setbacks, Fisher continued pursuing the recognition with help from longtime friend Jeff Thoke, who spent years researching Fisher’s military service and compiling hundreds of pages of historical records for military officials.

“He represents the best of America,” Thoke said Wednesday. “We can’t thank him enough for all that he has done. He loves his country; he’s one of the most patriotic men.”

According to previous reporting, Fisher served with the Army’s 556th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Weapons Battalion. He fought during the Battle of the Bulge before being wounded near the Rhine River in the closing months of World War II.

WHAS11 reported Fisher returned to his unit weeks after being wounded, later met Soviet forces at the Elbe River one day before Victory in Europe Day and eventually served as part of the official escort for President Harry S. Truman during Truman’s arrival in Antwerp, Belgium, before returning home.

Wednesday’s ceremony appeared to mark the end of a journey Fisher had spent decades pursuing.

“It’s really true,” he said.

News Media has reached out to the U.S. Army for additional information about Fisher’s Purple Heart but did not immediately receive a response.

USA’s Balogun Set to Play in Crucial World Cup Match Against Belgium

0

In an exciting turn of events for the US Men’s National Team (USMNT), FIFA has lifted the one-game suspension that had been imposed on striker Folarin Balogun. This adjustment means Balogun will be eligible to play in the crucial World Cup round of 16 match against Belgium scheduled for Monday night.

The reprieve from FIFA came as a surprise on Sunday morning, with the decision to hold off on the automatic one-match penalty arising from Balogun’s red card received on July 1.

This action follows Balogun’s controversial send-off during the USA’s triumphant clash with Bosnia and Herzegovina last Wednesday. His expulsion came after a challenge on defender Tarik Muharemovic, inciting initial concern among fans.

The tackle, initially seen as unremarkable, garnered significant attention as replays depicted Balogun’s cleats making contact along Muharemovic’s leg. This detail triggered considerable debate online, with numerous supporters vocally advocating for the ban’s reversal.

Ultimately, the voices of USA supporters were heard, as FIFA’s decision to suspend Balogun’s one-game ban will now enable him to contribute to Monday’s pivotal game against Belgium.

Among them was US President Donald Trump, who wrote on Truth Social on Sunday: ‘Thank you to FIFA for doing what was right and reversing a great injustice!’

Meanwhile, in their own statement, FIFA said: ‘In line with article 27 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code, the implementation of the match suspension is suspended for a probationary period of one year.

‘If Folarin Balogun commits another infringement of a similar nature and gravity during the probationary period, the suspension shall be revoked and the sanction enforced without prejudice to any additional sanction imposed for the new infringement.’

In response, the USMNT said: ‘We accept the decision of the Disciplinary Committee and are pleased that Folarin Balogun is eligible to compete tomorrow.

‘Our full attention is focused on the Round of 16 match against Belgium in Seattle, and we look forward to the continued support of our amazing fans.’

The Daily Mail understands that the USMNT were informed about the decision on Sunday morning, before Balogun was told at a team meeting shortly afterwards.

Balogun broke his silence on the matter in the days that followed the USA’s 2-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina, insisting that he felt a yellow card would’ve been fair.

‘First and foremost, it was totally unintentional, which I’m sure a lot of people know. But, you know, I think the choice of the referee was, of course, his choice, but I don’t think it was the correct call,’ he told reporters on Friday.

‘I think a yellow card would have been fair due to it not being intentional. There’s not many places I can place my foot in such a scenario. But it’s happened, and it’s something that I have to accept and move forward from.’

Under Article 10.5 of FIFA’s tournament regulations, the dismissal automatically carries a mandatory one-game suspension.

Multiple FIFA officials had previously confirmed that national teams are prohibited from formally appealing red cards or the subsequent disciplinary sanctions.

However, the governing body’s judicial committee utilized a rare stipulation within Article 27 of the disciplinary code to circumvent the immediate ban.

The specific regulation allows the committee to fully or partially suspend the implementation of a disciplinary measure.

The disciplinary body recently applied the exact same probationary regulation to Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of the tournament.

The forward was initially facing a ban following a violent conduct dismissal during a World Cup qualifying match against the Republic of Ireland in November 2025.

Ronaldo was sent off after catching defender Dara O’Shea with a trailing elbow during a 2-0 defeat in Dublin.

However, after the Portugal captain served a one-game suspension during the team’s subsequent 9-1 victory over Armenia, FIFA intervened.

The governing body suspended the final two matches of the ban under a one-year probation period, clearing the five-time Ballon d’Or winner to lead his country from the start of the current tournament.

Alex Murdaugh Enlists Elite DNA Experts from Kohberger Case to Challenge Murder Conviction

0

As Alex Murdaugh braces for a fresh trial in a shocking murder case, his attorneys are turning to a Texas forensic DNA laboratory known for cracking some of the most infamous murders across the nation. They are pushing for the lab to analyze unidentified male DNA discovered underneath Maggie Murdaugh’s fingernails.

Once a prominent personal injury lawyer in South Carolina’s Lowcountry, Murdaugh was convicted in 2023 for the murders of his wife, Maggie, aged 52, and their 22-year-old son, Paul. The brutal slayings took place at their hunting estate in June 2021. However, these convictions have since been overturned, with a retrial scheduled for April 2027.

Murdaugh’s defense team emphasizes the significance of DNA found beneath Maggie’s fingernails, which appears to belong to an unknown man with no familial ties. They have requested a fresh analysis from Othram Inc., a forensic genetic genealogy firm in Houston famed for its breakthroughs in prominent murder cases and long-unsolved cold cases.

However, prosecutors argue against the necessity of additional DNA testing. They maintain that the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) has already thoroughly examined the evidence, which presented only a blend of Maggie’s DNA along with what was described as a “very partial and incomplete” profile from another person. They contend that this unknown profile lacks sufficient detail to be entered into CODIS, the national DNA database.

Othram, located in The Woodlands, Texas, is renowned for its expertise in sophisticated DNA testing and forensic genetic genealogy. This cutting-edge method assists law enforcement in identifying suspects or victims when conventional criminal databases fall short.

Here are some of the high-profile cases Othram has helped crack.

1. The University of Idaho murders

Othram’s work came under national scrutiny in the investigation into the 2022 murders of four University of Idaho students: Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin.

Investigators recovered DNA from a knife sheath found near one of the victims inside the off-campus Moscow, Idaho, home where the students were killed. Othram has said Idaho State Police Forensic Services, Moscow police and the FBI teamed with the company to help identify Bryan Kohberger as the suspect.

Kohberger later pleaded guilty to four counts of murder and was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

2. Rachel Morin murder

Othram also played a role in the investigation into the killing of Rachel Morin, a Maryland mother of five whose body was found near the Ma & Pa Trail in Bel Air in August 2023. Harford County authorities and the FBI worked with Othram after DNA evidence did not immediately identify the unknown male suspect through traditional methods.

Victor Antonio Martinez-Hernandez, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador, was later arrested and charged in Morin’s rape and murder. He was convicted in 2025.

3. Carla Walker cold case

The 1974 murder of 17-year-old Carla Walker in Fort Worth, Texas, went unsolved for more than four decades before advanced DNA testing helped investigators identify her killer. Walker was abducted, raped, tortured and murdered after attending a Valentine’s Day dance with her boyfriend.

A break came in 2020 after crime scene DNA was uploaded to a public genealogy website, leading to the identification of then 77-year-old Glen Samuel McCurley. Authorities confirmed the match after obtaining his DNA from trash.

Othram worked with Fort Worth police to identify McCurley as the man responsible. McCurley later pleaded guilty to murder, giving Walker’s family answers after 46 years.

4. The Lady of the Dunes

One of New England’s most infamous unidentified victim cases was solved with help from Othram nearly 50 years after a woman’s body was found in the dunes of Provincetown, a summer vacation hot spot at the tip of Massachusetts in 1974. The 49-year-old cold case was eventually solved in August 2023.

The woman, long known only as the “Lady of the Dunes,” was found dead in 1974. For decades, authorities could not determine her name. The FBI, Massachusetts State Police, Provincetown police and prosecutors partnered with Othram to identify her as Ruth Marie Terry. Her husband at the time, Guy Rockwell Muldavin, was identified as her killer, Cape and Islands District Attorney Robert Galibois said.

Terry was a 37-year-old Tennessee native newlywed when her nearly decapitated body was found in the sand dunes. Muldavin and Terry were married only a few months before she vanished. For decades, she was only known as “Lady of the Dunes” until her jaw was tested using genetic genealogy at Othram.

5. A Gilgo Beach victim

Othram’s technology was also used to help identify Karen Vergata, previously known as “Fire Island Jane Doe,” in a case tied to the broader Gilgo Beach investigation on Long Island.

Vergata’s remains were found in 1996, but she was not publicly identified until decades later. In 2022, the Suffolk County Police Department in collaboration with the FBI teamed with Othram to determine if advanced DNA testing could help to identify “Fire Island Jane Doe.”

Vergata was 34 years old at the time of her death and she went missing on Valentine’s Day in 1996.

In April 2026, Rex Heuermann admitted that he intentionally killed Vergata, along with seven other women, as part of a plea agreement.

What Othram testing could mean in Murdaugh’s case

The request for Othram testing does not mean the unknown DNA will change the outcome of Murdaugh’s case. Still, Murdaugh’s attorneys are expected to argue the testing could support an alternate-suspect theory as they prepare for a second trial.

“They decided that night he was the guy and everything they did after that excluded any other thought,” Murdaugh’s lead defense attorney, Dick Harpootlian, previously told Fox News Digital. “And that’s why they have no evidence connecting him with the murder scene.”

The state, however, characterized the request as unsupported and aimed more at “public consumption” than viable forensic evidence.

During Murdaugh’s first status hearing on Monday, June 29, Judge Debra McCaslin did not rule on the DNA evidence, telling defense attorneys to clarify if the sample was viable.

Fox News Digital reached out to Othram.

Navy Halts Search for Missing Sailor After Helicopter Incident in Arabian Sea

0

The United States Navy has called off the active search for a sailor who disappeared last Wednesday.

The sailor went missing after an MH-60S helicopter crashed in the Arabian Sea. The search efforts, which were extensive, were officially concluded early Sunday morning.

“Following a thorough search by both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force in the U.S. Central Command region, the search has concluded,” the U.S. Naval Forces Central Command announced via social media. “In line with Navy policy, the sailor’s name will remain undisclosed until 24 hours after their next-of-kin have been informed.”

In a file photo, a U.S. Navy MH-60S Seahawk helicopter is pictured on the flight deck of a Navy ship. Navy officials confirmed Sunday that the search for a missing sailor, following the crash of an MH-60S in the Arabian Sea, has been suspended.

The missing sailor was part of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 5 and was stationed on the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush, according to the U.S. 5th Fleet. The Navy announced that the search was suspended at 8 a.m. Eastern Time (3 p.m. Arabian Standard Time) on Sunday.

“For more than 102 hours, an extensive and coordinated search and rescue effort spanning over 14,000 square miles was conducted,” the U.S. 5th Fleet wrote in a statement.

Navy and Air Force assets involved in the search included aircraft from Carrier Air Wings 7 and 9, helicopter squadrons from the USS George H.W. Bush and USS Abraham Lincoln, two P-8 Poseidon squadrons, and multiple U.S. Air Force aircraft.

Several Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers also joined the operation, including the USS Ross, USS Donald Cook, USS Higgins, USS Mason and USS John Finn.

MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the USS George H.W. Bush aircraft carrier made an emergency water landing in the Arabian Sea early at about 3:30 a.m. ET on Wednesday. Three of the helicopter’s four crew members were successfully recovered and were in stable condition aboard the Bush, according to officials.

Military officials said there is no indication the emergency landing was the result of “hostile action.”

Minions & Monsters Triumph in Fourth of July Box Office Face-Off Against Toy Story 5

LOS ANGELES – As the July Fourth weekend unfolded, the box office saw the Minions narrowly edge past “Toy Story 5.”

“Minions & Monsters,” the latest installment in the “Despicable Me” series and its seventh film, made a notable impact by collecting $36.4 million in North America over the holiday. Meanwhile, “Toy Story 5,” a box office powerhouse that recently surpassed “Supergirl,” drew an estimated $31 million in ticket sales.

Debuting to an enthusiastic reception on Wednesday, the Minions’ adventure in the world of Hollywood’s Golden Age amassed an estimated $61.4 million in its initial five days, as per studio estimates. Globally, “Minions & Monsters” garnered a substantial $160 million during its first week of release, underscoring the franchise’s wide-reaching popularity.

Amid the celebrations of the United States’ 250th birthday, audiences seeking a touch of patriotism turned to “Young Washington.” The film, featuring George Washington’s early military endeavors in the French and Indian War, secured a third-place standing, raking in nearly $21 million.

This left “Supergirl” trailing at fourth place, with box office earnings dipping to just under $10 million, a sharp 74% decline from its rather lackluster opening weekend.

The weekend box office was down year-over-year about 24%, according to figures compiled by Rentrak, though this summer is up from 2025 by nearly 12%. That’s due in part thanks to the low-budget Gen-Z sensations “Obsession” and “Backrooms,” which took the sixth and seventh spots, behind Steven Spielberg’s “Disclosure Day.”

Donna Kelce Speaks Out on Taylor Swift’s Wedding to Her Son: Exclusive Insights

Hints of what was hailed as the wedding of the year have come to light, thanks to an unexpected source: Taylor Swift’s new mother-in-law.

The wedding, tightly wrapped in secrecy, involved non-disclosure agreements for guests to preserve its privacy. As a result, scant details about the lavish event have emerged.

Breaking the veil of silence, Donna Kelce, mother of the groom, has finally spoken out about her son’s grand celebration with Swift.

“I really can’t say a heck of a lot except it was magical, man! Magical,” 73-year-old Donna revealed during Macy’s 50th Fourth of July Celebration held in New York City.

Despite months filled with teasers, rumors, and conflicting reports, the couple eventually exchanged vows in an extravagant ceremony attended by 1,000 of their closest friends and some of the most prominent figures in the entertainment world at Madison Square Garden on Friday.

They kept fans guessing until the very end, refusing to confirm when exactly they would say ‘I Do’, or indeed, if they already had.

But at exactly 7.30pm, the couple shared the news in blockbuster style, lighting up the iconic music venue with video ads which read ‘JUST&T MARRIED!’, in a romantic nod to their shared initials.

Both the bride and groom were dressed in Christian Dior, her publicist later announced.

There were no bridesmaids, instead, Taylor’s brother Austin acted as her ‘man of honor’, and Travis’s brother Jason was the best man.

The couple’s Love Story began three years ago this week, when Kelce first laid eyes on the songstress at her Kansas City Eras Tour concert on July 8, 2023.

The Chiefs tight end tried to meet Swift that evening, bringing along a friendship bracelet that contained his phone number. However, his attempt at handing her the jewelry was unsuccessful.

At the same time, Swift was at her own professional peak, traveling the world for her sold-out stadium shows, with Kelce flying in to support her.

Despite their hectic schedules and intense public interest in their romance, Kelce claimed that he felt calmed by both his girlfriend’s presence and down-to-earth nature.

‘Whenever I’m with her, it feels like we’re just regular people.… When there is not a camera on us, we’re just two people that are in love,’ he told GQ.

When the couple announced their engagement in August of last year, social media exploded in celebration, with fans immediately speculating about their wedding.

Details of the nuptials were shrouded in secrecy since that day, with scant details leaking to the press.

In a statement confirming the marriage, Swift’s publicist said in a statement obtained by People: ‘The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture.

‘They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom. This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry

‘Taylor & Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler.’

Boy Miraculously Revives After Near-Death Drowning as Parents Celebrate Nearby

Law enforcement officials in Arizona have urged the filing of child abuse charges against a couple accused of neglecting their toddler, who drowned in a pool while they allegedly attended a party. Astonishingly, the child was pronounced deceased at the hospital yet discovered alive in the morgue several hours later, according to authorities.

The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office is deliberating on whether to proceed with formal child abuse charges against the parents of 18-month-old Vincent Fiordilino. Reports state that during a Super Bowl gathering in February, Vincent was found unresponsive in the family’s backyard pool, as reported by AZ Family.

A police document details that both parents, who reside in Gilbert, confessed to having smoked marijuana and not supervising their son adequately during the event. The report suggests their impaired state, potentially from marijuana or other substances, might have prevented them from noticing their son’s fall into the pool.

Emergency responders transported Vincent to a nearby hospital, where a doctor declared him dead that night. However, an eye-opening discovery was made at around 11:52 p.m. by a medical examiner’s team, who found Vincent alive and breathing, several hours after he was moved to the morgue at about 7:23 p.m., according to police reports.

A GoFundMe launched for the family describes Vincent as a “miracle baby” and says his mom and dad experienced “every parent’s worst nightmare.” The campaign’s creator reports that Vincent was underwater for five minutes before he was found.

“Vincent was declared deceased,” the GoFundMe says. “His devastated parents were sent home in unimaginable grief. But God had other plans. A little after 11:30 p.m., the family received a call no one expected: the medical examiner had detected a faint heartbeat. Vincent was immediately airlifted to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, fighting for his life.”

The police report explains that when the doctor who declared Vincent dead went to notify the parents of their son’s death, a nurse said, “I have a pulse,” according to AZ Family. When an officer alerted the doctor, he “arrogantly” insisted that “he was the doctor, he has the medical degree, he went to medical school for a reason, and to let him do his thing,” the report states.

Officers who were at the hospital allegedly saw the doctor tell hospital staff to stop performing lifesaving measures on Vincent due to the child’s condition. His parents and the officers both expressed concerns that the child appeared to still be breathing, and reported seeing and hearing him taking gasps of air. Hospital staff told them it was “agonal breathing.”

Police have said the doctor will not face criminal charges.

After being transported to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, the family’s GoFundMe says Vincent’s organs began shutting down.

“His kidneys, lungs, and liver were all struggling,” the fundraiser explains. “An MRI was ordered later that day to determine brain activity and potential damage. The results came back showing only two tiny ‘pencil‑dot’ areas of potential brain damage, and doctors expressed grave concern.”

Vincent “continued to fight” and additional tests later showed no brain damage, according to the GoFundMe. “He will need extensive therapy, ongoing medical monitoring, and support for his healing organs,” the fundraiser says.
