Scandal Breaks: Rulla’s Husband’s Alleged Mistress Defends Affair as Intentional

VIDEO: Brian Pontarelli’s rumored mistress Beth denies their 2.5-year affair was a “mistake” after Rulla’s comment amid a heated fight with Jo-Ellen Tiberi in a RHORI reunion sneak peek, plus Rulla claps back at fan shade #RHORI

Brian Pontarelli’s purported romantic partner, Beth Walker, has denied claims that their involvement was a mere “mistake,” countering remarks made by Rulla Pontarelli in an upcoming episode of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island.

In a fiery dispute captured in a sneak peek, Rulla, 46, clashes with Jo-Ellen Tiberi, 38. The exchange turns explosive as Rulla hurls insults, calling Jo-Ellen a “f*cking sl*t” and “wh*re.” Jo-Ellen responds by branding Rulla as “trash.” Amidst the chaos, Beth Walker steps forward, asserting that her relationship with Brian, 49, was not a mistake but a deliberate choice, even as Rulla confronts a fan who highlighted Brian’s infidelity.

“You’re a f*cking slut! That’s all you are, and the whole f*cking state knows it!” Rulla shouts at Jo-Ellen in a scene shared by Bravo on Instagram, teasing the drama in the episode airing on June 28.

“You know what? Guess what? Your husband’s a sl*t!” Jo-Ellen fires back as Rulla accuses her of “sleeping with doctors” and gets up from the couch.

“I don’t know what’s bigger, your mouth or what’s between your legs,” Rulla states.

“You’re f*cking nuts,” Jo-Ellen replies.

Still, Rulla presses on, claiming the entire cast knows that Jo-Ellen is a “f*cking wh*re” and demanding Jo-Ellen leave her husband out of the conversation.

Then, when Jo-Ellen suggests that Rulla “can’t even admit that” Brian cheated, Rulla insists she had.

“It’s already been admitted. We already know he did what he did. He’s not a wh*re. He made a mistake, bad mistake, and a series of choices,” she explains.

Liz McGraw, 55, also gets in on the action, accusing Jo-Ellen of having bad intentions for exposing Brian’s reported relationship with Beth.

“Here’s the thing: I started off with good intentions. I started off being nice,” Jo-Ellen states, prompting Rulla to label her “trash.”

“I don’t talk to trash,” Rulla shares.

“You are trash,” Jo-Ellen replies.

After the clip was shared, Beth surfaced in a comment, defending the time she spent with Brian.

“2.5 years is not ‘a mistake’ let’s be honest.. it’s very intentional,” she wrote.

Also on Instagram, after Rulla and Brian were seen in a photo together, a fan wrote, “Now just replace Rulla with one of the mistresses and it’ll be accurate.”

In response, Rulla called the person out, writing, “You’re not funny nor are you accurate with what you are [alluding] to. We don’t need comments like this here prompting negativity or misleading information.”

Bear Charges at Woman Walking Her Dog, Captured in Thrilling Video

0

While taking her dog for a walk in the woods of Canada, a woman was unexpectedly pursued by a large bear in a heart-stopping incident she captured on her phone.

Despite her attempts to deter the bear by repeatedly shouting “No! Go away” and making loud noises, the determined animal continued to trail her along the path.

Initially approaching at a slow pace, the bear suddenly charged, encircling her as she desperately retreated, pleading for it to leave her and her dog in peace.

In a nerve-wracking two-minute confrontation, the bear alternated between charges and retreats, at times rising on its hind legs, displaying its formidable size.

She was finally able to distract the bear by throwing what appeared to be her water bottle behind a gate. The video ends as she races away after the bear went to investigate what she had thrown.

The woman had just grabbed her morning coffee and was only planning to go for a short walk with her dog near where she was camping with others when the encounter happened, according to Wilderness Escape Adventures in Alberta, which said on TikTok they interviewed the woman.

The woman stayed calm during the encounter and didn’t run from the bear until it had moved away from her.

Experts say to never run from a bear because it can trigger their predatory instincts and bears can outrun humans at up to 35 mph.

Socceroos vs Paraguay: Australia Shatters World Cup TV Records with Unprecedented Viewership

0

This past Friday, Australian viewership soared to record levels as millions tuned in to watch the Socceroos in their biggest FIFA World Cup 2026 game so far.

Nearly five million people in Australia watched the match, making it the most-viewed World Cup game ever broadcast on SBS, according to Virtual Australia (VOZ) national ratings.

Excited fans gathered at pubs and viewing sites nationwide at midday, skipping commitments to cheer on the Socceroos as they secured a spot in the tournament’s knockout stage with a draw against Paraguay.

Following a tough defeat to the USA in their second group match last week, Australia needed at least a tie with Paraguay to advance to the Round of 32.

The young Socceroos squad delivered just what was needed.

A total of 4.844 million viewers and a total TV average audience of 3.086 million across linear television and digital streaming watched the Australia v Paraguay match.

It is the second most-watched broadcast in SBS history, behind the Socceroos’ World Cup play-off victory against Uruguay in 2006 (3.416 million, national average audience).

The Paraguay-Australia post-match program attracted 2.872 million viewers, and the pre-match program attracted 2.277 million viewers.

Between live matches and pre- and post-match shows, SBS had the top three programs of the day and five of the top ten.

SBS’ World Cup broadcast dominated Friday’s free-to-air ratings.

Cumulatively, 13.9 million Australians, or about half the population, have watched some of the matches in the FIFA World Cup tournament.

The Socceroos’ next game is at 4am Saturday, 4 July (AEST) in Arlington, Texas, near Dallas, when they will face Egypt.

Madonna Discusses Alleged Tension with Daughter Lourdes Leon

0

Madonna has revealed that collaborating with her daughter Lourdes Leon on their latest song was challenging, describing Lourdes as initially ‘very standoffish’. This admission sheds light on their long-standing rift.

The Queen of Pop, now 67, shared insights during a conversation with Graham Norton on the BBC show, Madonna & Graham. She stated that over the years, Lourdes has harbored ‘a lot of resentment’ towards her.

Madonna, who co-parents Lourdes with her former partner Carlos Leon, teamed up with her daughter to co-write a track for her upcoming album, Confessions II.

Despite the initial discord between them, Madonna believes that the creative process of writing a song together played a crucial role in mending their relationship.

In the episode that aired on Friday night, Madonna elaborated, “She approached me timidly. She’s been quite hesitant to work with me, fearing she’d be seen merely as my daughter and not wanting to benefit from her privilege.”

Graham asked: ‘How does that feel? Was it like working with a professional or a proud mother?’

‘It was kind of neither’, she said. ‘She’s been very standoffish and working at her own pace, and I respect that deeply. She’s a great songwriter and has a much better voice than I do.

‘But then one day she came to me and said “You know what, I realise I’ve been holding onto something” and maybe it’s a kind of I want to say anger, what’s another word, maybe resentment?

‘At the end of the day, she didn’t ask for this. She had been through her adolescence struggling with those feelings for a long time.

‘So she came to me and said “Let’s write a song together, I think it will be a very healing experience. You say exactly what you want to say and I will say exactly what I want to say”.

‘And I was like “Okay, you’re on, let’s do it, I was so happy”. Her lyrics are beautiful.’

While Madonna and Lourdes are now close and often collaborate together, the pair have touched on their issues in past interviews.

In 2021, Lourdes called her mother a ‘control freak’ and admitted that she paid for her own college tuition and first apartment to escape her.

‘We don’t get any handouts in my family. Obviously, I grew up with extreme privilege. There’s no denying that,’ she explained to Interview magazine.

‘But I think my mom saw all these other kids of famous people, and she was like, “My kids are not going to be like this.”

‘Also, I feel like if your parents pay for things, then it gives them leverage over you. My mom is such a control freak, and she has controlled me my whole life. I needed to be completely independent from her as soon as I graduated high school.’

In a 2019 interview with Vogue, Madonna praised her ‘insanely talented’ eldest child but said that she lacked the same drive that had made her a household name.

Since branching out on her own, Lourdes has found work as a model, a celebrity socialite, and as an indie musician.

Despite the tension between the mother and daughter duo, Madonna said writing a song together 'healed' their relationship (pictured together in 2022)

She recently appeared in her mother’s Confessions II short film, in addition to co-writing a track from the album.

Madonna also had a tumultuous relationship with her late brother Christopher, who passed away in 2024 at age 63 following a battle with cancer.

‘My brother Christopher is gone. He was the closest human to me for so long,’ she wrote on Instagram following his death.

‘It’s hard to explain our bond. But it grew out of an understanding that we were different and society was going to give us a hard time for not following the status quo.

‘We took each other’s hands and we danced through the madness of our childhood. In fact dance was a kind of superglue that held us together.’

Christopher worked as his sister’s backup dancer, personal dresser and art director until their very public feud erupted in 2000.

He described himself as being the ‘one person’ who could take it when the singer screamed at him backstage and how he was the only one in her circle who knew the truth about her past, which she frequently ‘mythologised’.

Madonna also admitted that her new album, Confessions II, was inspired by 'family trauma', including the death of her brother Christopher. (Pictured 1995)

However, the sibling’s relationship began to fracture in the late 1990s – as Christopher began to grow increasingly resentful over having given up his artistic dreams to support his sister’s career.

In 2000, Christopher famously labelled Madonna an ‘evil queen’ in a leaked email, where he lamented ‘giving up [his] f***ing life’ for his sister’s ‘mediocre talent’.

‘I guess I always thought that one day you’d see my worth and behave accordingly… but you never did… a little f***ing respect was all I ever wanted from you and you couldn’t even manage that,’ he raged.

Eight years later, he reportedly earned ‘seven figures’ to team up with author Wendy Leigh to co-write the tell-all book Life with My Sister Madonna.

In the 352-page book, Christopher made a cruel jibe about his sister’s ‘fat’ midriff during The Virgin Tour back in 1985 and said Madonna would become a ‘basket case’ when being interviewed on TV.

Nick Jonas Divorce Rumors Debunked: Here’s Why the Speculation Is Completely Unfounded

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra have enjoyed wedded bliss since 2018, yet they’ve been dogged by divorce rumors almost from the outset. Speculation about potential marital discord has followed them persistently, even in the wake of their surprising baby announcement in January 2022. Despite the relentless rumors, Jonas and Chopra continue to present a strong and seemingly joyful union. While their social media largely highlights their professional endeavors and public personas, glimpses into their shared world suggest a fulfilling and happy marriage.

In May 2026, Jonas marked Mother’s Day with a heartfelt message brimming with gratitude for Chopra and the family they’ve created. “You are the wind beneath our wings. Happy Mother’s Day, my Jaan. We love you so much,” he wrote in an Instagram post, utilizing the affectionate Hindi term “Jaan” to honor her cultural roots. Chopra responded warmly with a simple red heart and heart-eye emoji, conveying her thankfulness with elegance.

Earlier in the month, Jonas showcased the couple’s playful dynamics by sharing a video where he quoted a memorable line from “The Princess Diaries” while Chopra humorously enacted the scene beside a window. This whimsical interaction didn’t go unnoticed by fans, who pointed out the genuine sweetness between them. One follower commented, “Goals right there to be loved the same,” while another requested more glimpses of their endearing bond, saying, “Awww. Also petition for more cute couple stuff from you both.” Even with such visible signs of a strong relationship, skeptics might persist in their speculations.

Speculation about their marriage bothers Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas

Despite public perception, hurtful accusations have been thrown at Chopra and Jonas, including suggestions that their marriage was orchestrated for publicity. They’ve mostly chosen to dismiss these claims, although occasionally they and their families feel compelled to address them. This was the case when an op-ed published by The Cut—later removed—painted Chopra as a “modern-day scam artist” who allegedly manipulated the younger Jonas into a marriage “against his will” (as reported by The Wrap). In response, Jonas’s brother Joe didn’t hold back his defense.

“This is disgusting. @TheCut should be ashamed to have someone write such evil words. What Nick & Pri have is Beautiful Love. Thank u, Next,” he tweeted. For her part, Chopra used humor to address the accusations that her marriage was a publicity stunt in the “Jonas Brothers Family Roast” in 2021. “How could it be? I didn’t even know how famous Nick was. All I knew was that he was Kevin Jonas’ baby brother,” she said (via People).

On a more serious note, Chopra has openly discussed the impact that conjecture about their marriage has had on both her and Jonas. In a candid interview with Variety in February 2026, she revealed that the relentless scrutiny was particularly challenging in the early stages of their relationship. “I don’t know what was it about us that rubbed people the wrong way … It was very hurtful,” she admitted. However, over time, they’ve learned to block out the negativity. “If people want to keep waiting for it to implode, that’s their choice. I stopped thinking about it,” she shared resolutely.

Limited-Edition US Passports Feature Surprising Trump Image Reveal

0

On Friday, President Trump revealed the latest design of the United States passport, featuring his own likeness on a page set against the backdrop of the Declaration of Independence. Alongside the unveiling, he issued a cautionary note to those entering the country, emphasizing the importance of appropriate conduct.

“America’s New Passport welcomes visitors with a note that says, ‘Welcome, but be good!’” Trump shared in a Truth Social post, highlighting the passport’s imagery.

One highlighted page of this special edition passport showcases a serious-looking Trump complete with his signature, while another page depicts a symbolic illustration of the Founding Fathers endorsing the Declaration of Independence, beneath which the phrase “United States of America 250” is inscribed.

Fox News Digital had earlier reported on the State Department’s plan to issue these special-edition passports as part of the celebration of the nation’s 250th anniversary. President Trump features prominently in this commemorative release.

Scheduled for release this summer, these passports form a key component of the broader “America 250” celebratory initiative launched by the Trump administration. The campaign also includes grand spectacles such as a Grand Prix race staged on the National Mall in August and a UFC event on the White House South Lawn, which took place earlier this month.

A State Department official previously told Fox News Digital that the new designs will be available to “any American citizen” who applies for a passport during the rollout and will continue for as long as there is availability.

Trump’s social media post comes as the US has enacted stricter vetting policies for foreign visitors, explicitly demanding that tourists and non-immigrants respect and follow US laws and institutions.

The tighter rules coincide with the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where hundreds of thousands of foreigners have come to the US to watch the games, which end in July.

Marco Rubio Unveils Key Israel-Lebanon Agreement Amidst Iran Tensions

0

Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have shown their support for the U.S.-facilitated framework agreement between Jerusalem and Lebanon. Announced on Friday, this agreement is seen as a positive initial step towards peace and a clear stance against Iranian influence in the region.

This pivotal development has the potential to pave the way for diplomatic relations between Lebanon and Israel, two nations technically still at war. Experts suggest the agreement could weaken Hezbollah, the Iran-backed militant group, which has considerable influence in the Lebanese state.

Since Hezbollah joined forces with Hamas in the invasion of Israel on October 7, 2023, and after subsequent U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran in February, Hezbollah and Israel have engaged in two major conflicts.

Rubio stated, “Today marks a significant stride as we are pleased to announce a framework agreement between the sovereign government of Lebanon and the government of Israel, mediated and supported by the United States. This lays the foundation for enduring peace and security.”

He added, “And that’s what these two nations deserve.”

According to the Press Service of Israel (TPS-IL), Netanyahu termed the deal “a severe blow to Iran.” He added that the Islamic Republic seeks to force an Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon, and “essentially Israel, Lebanon and the United States are telling them: This is none of your business. You have no role in southern Lebanon — neither you, nor Hezbollah nor any other terrorist organization.”

U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, wrote on X:” Was there all week but had to fly back to Israel Thursday night. Historic opportunity but key is disarming Hezbollah, evil terrorists who have killed Americans. Israel, Lebanon sign framework peace agreement following US-backed negotiations.”

Lebanon’s President Joseph Aoun, in an Arabic-language X Post, thanked the U.S. administration, led by President Donald Trump, “for its efforts in hosting and facilitating the negotiations and for supporting Lebanon’s position.”

Rubio’s optimistic announcement encouraged some veteran Lebanon experts about a historic opportunity for peace, while others warned about the necessity to proceed with caution.

Guila Fakhoury, whose father, Amer, was kidnapped by Hezbollah in 2019, told Fox News Digital that “Today marks a historic achievement. For the first time since 1983, Lebanon and Israel have reached an agreement through direct negotiations. It also represents a fundamental shift in regional dynamics, demonstrating that Lebanon’s future need not be contingent upon broader regional negotiations or arrangements negotiated through proxy influence. In that sense, this agreement supersedes previous efforts to tie Lebanon’s stability and sovereignty to external agendas.”

Fakhoury, added, “If these commitments are fulfilled, this agreement could become the foundation for long-term cooperation, security, economic opportunity and shared stability that benefits both the Lebanese and Israeli people.”

She continued, “However, whether this agreement brings lasting peace and stability will depend entirely on its implementation. The Lebanese state and its legitimate institutions must be the ones to create stability, not external actors or armed organizations operating outside government authority.”

Walid Phares, a leading U.S. expert on Lebanon and the Mideast, told News Media, “This agreement is just a ceasefire not a conduit to a larger peace deal. Hezbollah take orders from Iran. It’s clear Tehran will complain about such a deal and pressure the negotiators to get some statement from Washington asserting the Islamic Republic’s say over Lebanon. Hezbollah will attack the deal but will pray Israel won’t strike. The Trump administration will have to calibrate between the Rubio-sponsored agreement on Lebanon and the fragility of the situation in the Gulf.”

Netanyahu on phone with Trump

He added, “The regime is telling Hezbollah ‘keep the narrative up and radical but let us get the money first.’ Israel is giving its public something and mindful of Trump’s concerns about the deal with Iran. The Lebanese government is hoping their army does not have to engage. The only unknown is the ability of the Lebanese opposition to rise and resist Hezbollah. We are still inside the Lebanese status quo.”

Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., posted on X following the news that, “Hezbollah savages have American blood on their hands. I applaud President Trump and @SecRubio for forging this important agreement that will restrain Iran’s terrorist proxy. Let me be clear: Tehran has no future in Lebanon.”

Hanin Ghaddar, a senior fellow at The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, wrote on X: “Absolutely a breakthrough,” This is the first agreement between Israel and Lebanon since 1983. A clear and loud ‘NO’ to Iran as it challenges its efforts to control Lebanon ‘s file.”

She added, “But as the 1983 agreement was toppled by the bad guys then (Assad regime), Iran will try everything to make sure this one fails as well. Lebanon and Israel have a responsibility in making sure this agreement is protected, and its implementation is successful. We will probably not have another chance.”

Woman Coerced by 58-Year-Old Scammer Suffers ₦1m Financial Setback in Family Reunion

A woman has recounted how her aunt suffered a loss of ₦1 million after rekindling a friendship with a former classmate at a school reunion. This incident occurred despite her aunt receiving a prior caution against lending money to anyone she met at the event.

It was the aunt’s first time attending the reunion after many years away. The gathering brought a flood of excitement and nostalgia, as her old classmates warmly welcomed her back into the fold.

During this emotional reunion, a close friend discreetly advised her aunt to be wary. This friend specifically warned against lending money to anyone at the event, noting that some attendees were known for borrowing without returning what they owed.

Despite the warning, the aunt continued to keep in touch with one of the women she reconnected with at the reunion, maintaining regular conversations by phone.

About a month later, this woman requested a loan of ₦2 million, claiming it was needed to restock her shop. She pledged to repay the amount within a week, contingent on securing another financial loan. The aunt eventually decided to transfer ₦1 million, hoping for the best.

Friend disappeared after collecting the money

Recounting the incident, the lady said, “A very old friend approached her and told her that in case any of them asked her of money, she shouldn’t give them that it is a common habit amongst them and that they won’t pay back.”

She further stated, “My aunt borrowed her 1m. All of a sudden, the woman stopped calling and stopped answering my aunt’s calls. Weeks went by, and she did not refund the money… It was then my aunt’s realised a 58-year-old woman duped her.”

Discovery raises more questions

The narrator said her aunt later contacted another male classmate to seek advice. According to him, he had experienced a similar situation with the same woman after lending her money on two occasions, with communication ending after the second loan.

The account has since generated reactions online, with many social media users urging people to exercise caution when lending money, even to longtime acquaintances or friends reunited after many years.

Resolving Family Tensions: Struggling to Forgive Mom for Reconciling with Abusive Father

0

DEAR ABBY: I’ve been estranged from my father since I was just 12 years old, and now at 26, I’m still grappling with the aftermath of his emotional, psychological, and physical abuse. Cutting him out of my life has been a crucial step toward my healing journey.

Recently, however, my mother dropped a bombshell on me—she’s rekindled her relationship with him and they’re dating. Naturally, I find this incredibly upsetting and have voiced my objections about her decision. She insists that I’m overreacting and claims their relationship shouldn’t impact me, assuring me I won’t have to interact with him.

While I understand I can’t dictate her choices, she also can’t dictate my feelings. During a phone call today, I couldn’t hide my resentment any longer. Unfortunately, my honesty caused her distress—she started to cry, abruptly ended the call, and turned off her phone. Though hurting her feelings was not my intention, I had to express my truth.

I fear losing my connection with my mom over this, yet the pain and invisibility I feel linger, making it challenging to overlook. Every time I speak with her, the thought of her being involved with someone who deliberately caused me harm clouds even the simplest of conversations.

What I seek is a miracle solution to this turmoil, though I realize that’s unrealistic. I find myself at a low point, yearning for guidance. How can I possibly navigate this storm? — EMOTIONAL IN NEBRASKA

DEAR EMOTIONAL: Did your father abuse your mother as he did you? I’m sorry you didn’t reveal that in your letter. It’s a mother’s duty to protect her child, and she and your father did eventually separate.

At this point, you are no longer a child. You are now an adult with the ability to protect yourself from anyone who tries to abuse you. You cannot prevent your mother from trying to find happiness, regardless of whether you (or I) think she’s making a mistake. By the way, there is no guarantee that her reunion will be a lasting one.

There’s a price we pay for any decision we make. The price your mother may pay is that she’ll see much less of her offspring. As for you, it may take some sessions with a licensed psychotherapist to emotionally separate from both of your parents and heal. (You should have had therapy after the abuse you suffered when you were younger.)

** ** **

DEAR ABBY: My husband met a couple with whom he wanted to socialize. He’s an extrovert. I’m an introvert. We started spending time with them, but I have never liked them. They are loud, argue constantly and talk over everyone else. I get seriously triggered by their behavior. They drink too much, and the man either passes out on our couch or makes a fool of himself in public.

The problem is my husband still likes socializing with them. I’m fine with him seeing them by himself, but he’s unhappy I won’t go. This couple know how I feel and they keep inviting me. What do I do to meet both my husband’s and my own needs? — DOWNER IN THE EAST

DEAR DOWNER: You do not have to be available whenever they snap their fingers. What you do to meet your needs (as well as your husband’s) is see this obnoxious couple less often than he does.
