Country Music Star Defends Relationship with Kash Patel Against Online Critics

0

The younger country music sensation and girlfriend of FBI Director Kash Patel is fending off accusations regarding how she secured a prominent performance opportunity.

Alexis Wilkins, 27, has countered allegations that she landed her role as a ‘feature performer’ for the grand opening of the Great American State Fair on the National Mall due to her connections with the President and her relationship with Patel, who is nearly two decades older than her.

This week, Wilkins was officially confirmed as a performer. She dismissed allegations that taxpayer dollars were funding her involvement, filling a gap left by the Trump-aligned Freedom 250 after its concert roster fell apart.

“I was invited to perform this anthem of my own merit, just as I have done in numerous places throughout my career,” Wilkins stated on social media, addressing her critics. “I am not receiving payment for this esteemed opportunity.”

Earlier this year, the event stirred significant controversy when nearly all initially booked musical acts withdrew from the lineup organized by Freedom 250.

Within days of the original lineup being announced, including stars like Bret Michaels, The Commodores, Martina McBride and more, nearly all withdrew from the fair.

Many of the performers dropped out because of Freedom 250’s ties to the Trump administration. The group has worked on various initiatives to celebrate the nation’s birthday.

President Donald Trump, seeing the many cancellations, announced that he would step in and deliver remarks at the opening ceremony for the Great American State Fair.

‘I get to sing the national anthem on the opening of our nation’s 250th birthday, and that in and of itself, no matter the administration, should be really a universal honor,’ Wilkins told the Daily Mail. ‘So I’m really looking forward to doing it, of course, very honored that I was asked.’

In a defiant tone, the 27-year-old country music singer said she’s been going after those who sow rumors about her.

‘I am happy to correct the narrative when it gets completely off the rails,’ she said in a phone call.

‘I have been a country music artist for years now. I have had a successful career in both music and commentary/strategy. People don’t get to negate that for clicks or headlines.’

Wilkins and Patel have frequently been in the news during Trump’s second term.

Namely, the two have been reported to use Patel’s government-provided jet to travel around together, which the FBI has defended, noting the director must fly on the jet due to security precautions.

Online critics have also baselessly accused Wilkins of being a ‘honeypot,’ to which she has responded with lawsuits.

Kyle M Seraphin is one of the many online voices who has pushed a ‘honey pot’ Israeli spy narrative about Wilkins. She has since sued Seraphin for $5 million, claiming defamation.

Speaking previously to the Daily Mail, she denied the allegations, noting how, during two of the three years she’s been dating Patel, he was not the FBI boss.

As for the 19-year age gap between her and Patel, it’s not uncommon in Trump’s orbit.

‘There are a lot of people in this administration with age differences. There are a lot of people out there with age differences,’ she said previously.

A flyover is planned for the Wednesday evening kickoff ceremony for the fair.

It is expected to include F-16s, F-35As and America’s iconic long-range stealth bomber used recently against Iran, the B-2 Spirit.

Singer of the Trump rally anthem ‘God Bless the USA, ‘ Lee Greenwood, and opera singer Christopher Macchio are also expected to perform on Wednesday evening.

The fair will last until July 10 and feature a booth from all 50 US states and six territories. These pavilions will offer food and souvenirs ranging from Texas barbecue to Alaskan ice carvings and a Hawaiian hula hooping area.

There is also a 110-foot Ferris Wheel on the National Mall adorned with lights for the two-week spectacle.

6 Effective Daily Exercises to Reduce Belly Fat More Efficiently Than Gym Workouts After 60

Six Daily Movements to Enhance Strength, Balance, and Core Stability After 60

>

The term “hanging belly fat” often refers to the softer skin and fat that accumulates around the lower abdomen. The ultimate aim is to enhance body composition by fortifying and better supporting your midsection. After turning 60, achieving these goals usually requires a combination of strength training, regular movement, core exercises, and a consistent routine rather than relying solely on sporadic, lengthy workout sessions.

Incorporating daily exercises can be highly effective because they provide a steady stimulus. With frequent movement, the body has more opportunities to engage muscles, brace the core, and burn calories throughout the week. While a gym workout can be beneficial, a concise routine that you can practice at home often builds more overall momentum.

The exercises suggested here focus on expansive movement patterns, standing core engagements, and low-impact conditioning. This combination is crucial because your abdominal muscles help control motion, while your legs, hips, shoulders, and back create a more substantial training impact. Engaging more muscle groups means increased effort, which fosters the fat-loss habits essential for reshaping the waistline.

The key emphasis in coaching is straightforward: execute each repetition with precision, maintain robust posture, and exert enough effort to truly feel your workout. You should be aware of engagement not only in your core but also in your legs, glutes, shoulders, and arms. This approach transforms a brief daily session into something genuinely productive.

Dumbbell Squat to Press

The dumbbell squat-to-press trains your legs, glutes, shoulders, triceps, and core in a single full-body movement. Squatting engages the large lower-body muscles, and the overhead press builds upper-body strength, while your abs brace to keep your torso steady. This exercise supports belly-fat goals by engaging multiple muscles at once and increasing the overall effort of the session. Start with light dumbbells and move with control.

Muscles Trained: Quadriceps, glutes, hamstrings, shoulders, triceps, core.

How to Do It:

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold the dumbbells at shoulder height.
  2. Brace your core and keep your chest lifted.
  3. Bend your knees and lower into a squat.
  4. Press through your feet to stand tall.
  5. Press the dumbbells overhead as you reach the top.
  6. Lower the dumbbells back to your shoulders and repeat.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps. Rest for 60 seconds between each set.

Best Variations: Bodyweight squats, goblet squats, dumbbell shoulder presses, lighter squat-to-press reps.

Form Tip: Stand fully before pressing overhead to keep the movement smooth and controlled.

If You Can Ace These 5 Stability Moves at 60, Your Balance Is Top-Notch

Standing Cross-Body Knee Drives

Standing cross-body knee drives train your abs, obliques, hip flexors, and balance. Each rep asks your core to pull the knee across your body while your standing leg keeps you stable. This gives your midsection direct work without needing to get on the floor. Keep the rhythm steady and make the movement come from your core and hips rather than swinging your leg.

Muscles Trained: Abs, obliques, hip flexors, glutes, core.

How to Do It:

  1. Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart.
  2. Place your hands lightly behind your head or in front of your chest.
  3. Brace your core and shift your weight onto one foot.
  4. Drive one knee up and across your body.
  5. Return your foot to the floor with control.
  6. Alternate sides for the full set.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 10 to 12 reps per side. Rest for 30 to 45 seconds between each set.

Best Variations: Slower knee drives, supported knee drives, standing marches, faster knee drives.

Form Tip: Keep your chest tall and rotate through your midsection with control.

Low-Impact Skater Steps

Low-impact skater steps train your glutes, hips, thighs, calves, and core while adding a conditioning element. The side-to-side movement wakes up the outer hips and gets your heart rate moving without jumping. This makes it a strong daily option after 60 because it builds athletic movement, balance, and calorie-burning effort in a joint-friendly way. Step wide, land softly, and keep the pace smooth.

Muscles Trained: Glutes, quadriceps, hamstrings, calves, outer hips, core.

How to Do It:

  1. Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart.
  2. Brace your core and step your right foot out to the side.
  3. Sweep your left foot behind you as you bend your right knee slightly.
  4. Push through your right foot and step to the left.
  5. Sweep your right foot behind you.
  6. Continue moving side to side with control.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 20 to 30 seconds. Rest for 30 to 45 seconds between each set.

Best Variations: Smaller side steps, faster skater steps, skater steps with a reach.

Form Tip: Keep your knees soft and stay light on your feet.

6 No-Equipment Moves That Build Strength Like Weight Training After 60

Band Pallof Press With March

The band Pallof press with march trains your abs, obliques, hips, and deep core. The band tries to pull you into rotation, and your midsection works to stay steady while your knees lift one at a time. This exercise is excellent for building core support because it trains your abs to resist movement while your legs move. That bracing strength carries over to walking, lifting, carrying, and standing tall.

Muscles Trained: Abs, obliques, deep core, hip flexors, glutes.

How to Do It:

  1. Anchor a resistance band at chest height.
  2. Stand sideways to the anchor and hold the band at your chest.
  3. Step away until the band has light tension.
  4. Press your hands straight out in front of your chest.
  5. Brace your core and march one knee up.
  6. Lower your foot, alternate legs, then switch sides.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 8 to 10 marches per side. Rest for 45 seconds between each set.

Best Variations: Standard Pallof press, Pallof press hold, supported Pallof march.

Form Tip: Keep your hands centered and resist the band’s pull that would pull your torso to the side.

Dumbbell Woodchop to Reach

The dumbbell woodchop to reach trains your obliques, abs, shoulders, hips, and legs. The diagonal pattern helps your core rotate and control movement, while your legs help create a strong base. This gives your midsection a more athletic challenge than basic seated twists. Use a light dumbbell, move through a comfortable range, and keep the rep smooth from low to high.

Muscles Trained: Obliques, abs, shoulders, glutes, hips, legs.

How to Do It:

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold one light dumbbell with both hands.
  2. Brace your core and lower the dumbbell toward the outside of one thigh.
  3. Bend your knees slightly as you reach down.
  4. Stand tall and guide the dumbbell diagonally across your body.
  5. Finish with the dumbbell near the opposite shoulder.
  6. Complete all reps, then switch sides.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps per side. Rest for 45 seconds between each set.

Best Variations: Bodyweight woodchops, band woodchops, smaller-range woodchops.

Form Tip: Rotate through your torso and hips while keeping the weight light enough to control.

4 Daily Exercises To Regain Muscle Tone Better Than Gym Workouts After 55

Farmer March in Place

The farmer march trains your grip, shoulders, upper back, core, hips, and legs. Holding weights at your sides engages your postural muscles, and marching adds a steady core-and-balance challenge. This exercise supports belly-fat goals by combining loaded strength work with controlled movement and a higher heart rate. Use dumbbells, kettlebells, or loaded bags you can hold safely.

Muscles Trained: Core, grip, shoulders, upper back, hip flexors, glutes, legs.

How to Do It:

  1. Stand tall with a dumbbell or kettlebell in each hand.
  2. Brace your core and keep your shoulders level.
  3. Lift one knee to hip height or as high as you can control.
  4. Lower your foot with control.
  5. March with the opposite leg.
  6. Continue alternating while maintaining a tall posture.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 20 to 40 seconds. Rest for 45 to 60 seconds between each set.

Best Variations: Bodyweight marches, suitcase marches, lighter farmer marches, slow marching holds.

Form Tip: Walk your knees up without leaning back or letting the weights pull your shoulders down.

How to Shrink Hanging Belly Fat With Daily Exercise

Shrinking hanging belly fat requires a plan that supports overall fat loss while strengthening your midsection. These exercises help because they engage large muscle groups, train your core from multiple angles, and provide daily movement you can repeat without a complicated setup.

  • Train more than your abs: Full-body moves like squat-to-press, skater steps, and farmer marches engage larger muscles. That creates a stronger training effect than small core-only work.
  • Brace during every rep: Your core should stay active during presses, marches, woodchops, and knee drives. Better bracing helps your midsection feel stronger and more supported.
  • Keep the routine daily but manageable: Perform all six exercises in a longer session, or choose three on busier days. Consistency matters more than making every workout long.
  • Use a circuit for more calorie burn: Move from one exercise to the next with 30 to 45 seconds of rest between exercises. Complete 2 to 4 rounds to raise your heart rate while still building strength.
  • Pair exercise with daily steps and protein: Walking, protein-focused meals, hydration, and steady portions help the training show up through better body composition.

A smaller waistline after 60 comes from repeatable action. Train your body with strength, move your core in multiple directions, and keep the daily effort realistic enough to repeat. Over time, those small sessions can create a visible and useful change.

Critics Slam ‘Supergirl’: Why Milly Alcock’s Heroine Misses the Mark in Lackluster Reviews

0

DC’s fresh endeavor to broaden its cinematic universe with Supergirl has been met with dismal feedback from critics, who have described the movie as both ‘unattractive’ and ‘dull’ in a series of unenthusiastic reviews.

After raising anticipation with her brief appearance in last year’s Superman, Milly Alcock’s portrayal of the iconic heroine received a mixed bag of responses. One critic even labeled the film as a ‘letdown for girl power.’

Since securing the role, Milly has been at the center of ongoing criticism, facing intense scrutiny and negative remarks about her physical appearance.

The storyline follows Kara Zor-El as she allies with an unexpected partner on a cosmic quest for vengeance and justice. Their mission is to find an antidote after her cherished dog, Krypton, falls victim to poisoning.

Despite some harsh critiques, many reviewers found Milly’s portrayal of Kara Zor-El to be a standout element of the film, even as her character was labeled a ‘Gen-Z malcontent,’ creating a stark contrast with her more pristine male counterpart.

Writing a two-star review for The Independent, Clarisse Loughrey said: ‘While Nogueira’s script adapts Tom King and Bilquis Evely’s 2021 comic miniseries Woman of Tomorrow, Gillespie doesn’t carry over any of its striking and beautiful cosmic imagery – instead, we’re stuck in a colourless, utilitarian version of Gunn’s own Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy.

‘It’s cramped and dingy, with only an occasional bit of fun puppet or prosthetic alien work to break up the monotony.’

Kevin Maher in The Times gave the film two stars, and made reference to Milly’s modern take on Supergirl by calling her a ‘Gen-Z malcontent.’

He wrote: ‘The film is perforated with needless and momentum-killing flashbacks that describe Kara’s journey to Earth. We don’t care! She’s on Earth! That’s enough!

‘And Corenswet pops up a handful of times, still interesting as a character, still searching for a better superhero film. Good luck with that.’

Awarded the film three stars, Peter Bradshaw wrote in The Guardian: ‘Supergirl isn’t a perfect movie by any means, but there are moments when you’ll believe this franchise can fly.’

The Irish Times’ Craig Gillespie gave the film two stars, writing: ‘The infuriating thing about this overpriced movie is that the film-makers come close to solving the problem of Supergirl.

‘Subject of a terrible 1984 film and a decent 2015 TV series, the character has had trouble making distinct sense on screen. Alcock’s swaggering layabout – who doesn’t always close the door when going to the loo – reclaims her as an alien with enjoyably human flaws.

‘The bad news is that, as you have almost certainly guessed, she will be required to pull herself together in what used to be the final reel. Not fair. No fun. Give us back the hungover barfly.’

Owen Gleiberman wrote in Variety: ‘It’s all so desperate to be ”punk rock.” But Supergirl is a punk crock.’

Pete Hammond wrote in Deadline: ‘The special effects and relentlessly dark tone often get in the way of making this group rock despite the best efforts of Alcock who is a bit too quirky, playing Zor-El as somewhat reckless, headstrong, and not always put together.’

In The Hollywood Reporter, David Rooney said: ‘Given Australian director Gillespie’s history with films about spirited, rule-breaking women, like I, Tonya and Cruella, the failure to find emotional depth in the sisterhood of Kara and Ruthye is notable.’

David Fear was more complimentary, writing in Rolling Stone: ‘No one thought Superman was a fluke.

‘But if Gunn and Co. can keep maintaining this kind of quality and respect for the DC stable of side characters while digging into deeper, thornier terrain like this, and still adding an element of fun, this whole 2.0 era might actually make you believe a franchise reset can fly.’

In Vulture, Alison Willmore said: ‘Alcock, with her smirk and her anguished eyes, is a very watchable lead, but this aggressively minor movie doesn’t know what to do with her or her character.

‘And where’s the mystery in that? Supergirl, she’s just like us — running away from her problems (albeit all the way to other galaxies) and overinvesting in her beloved dog.’

The Sun’s Dulcie Pearce was full of praise for the film, awarding it four stars.

She wrote: ‘A large section of the film gives Supergirl’s backstory, which makes things a little too chaotic and a tad exhausting.

‘But with a few comedic appearances from Superman (David Corenswet), an excellent soundtrack and enough jeopardy to keep you intrigued, this film is off to a flier.’

Alongside a mixed reaction from critics, Milly has also faced a furore over her looks after she was cast as the lead in the DC Studios remake.

The drama began when Lois and Clark star Dean Cain faced backlash from Superman fans after seemingly mocking Alcock’s appearance on social media.

The conservative actor, 59, came under fire after responding to a meme that likened her to the primitive, ape-like human Cha-ka from the 1974 series Land of the Lost.

A troll responded to Cain on X with an unflattering photo of Cha-ka and asked, ‘And why does she look like this guy?’

Cain then responded, ‘Dang it… I laughed,’ followed by a smiling emoji.

The actor’s reaction to the cruel comparison quickly spread on social media, leaving a number of superhero fans outraged.

‘What a fantastic way to kill your legacy. And what a glorious way to lose the respect of millions of kids that looked up to you three decades ago. What a disgrace,’ wrote one person.

Another commented: ‘Your Superman performance is never going to be looked back upon fondly, your bitter jealousy has tainted any legacy you had left.’

Cain eventually clarified that he ‘never said she was ugly’, but seemed overall unconcerned by the backlash.

The American actor is best known for playing Superman in the ’90s TV series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.

Alcock later issued a defiant response in the face of backlash over her casting in the iconic role.

The Sydney-born actress told Variety Magazine that she was ignoring the criticism.

‘[The criticism] is from a lot of people whose profiles have no photo, who are burner accounts, or someone’s name and then “Dad of four, Christian,” which is hilarious to me,’ she said.

‘I mean, whose opinion do you really care about? If you’re p***ing the right kind of people off, you’re doing okay!’

Snapchat Faces Lawsuit After Missouri Minor Allegedly Raped by Adult Met Through App

0

In a tragic case, the family of a young girl who fell victim to a sexual assault at age 12 by a stranger she encountered on Snapchat is taking action against its parent company, Snap, as well as the attacker, with a lawsuit in Missouri state court.

The legal complaint, submitted on Wednesday, argues that the social media giant has neglected to deactivate hazardous functions within its application and has failed to adequately inform parents of potential risks associated with its platform.

The document reveals that the girl started using Snapchat in 2021 when she was 11 years old, unbeknownst to her parents.

Gabriel Joel Valentin-Rios was sentenced to 18 years for statutory rape in Missouri.

Although Snapchat mandates users be at least 13, the lawsuit highlights that the girl doesn’t recall the birth date she used and indicates that children were aware they could easily sidestep the age restriction.

Roughly a year into her use of Snapchat, the suit alleges that the app suggested her, along with teenage girls from local high schools, as friend options to defendant Gabriel Joel Valentin-Rios, an adult with whom they had no prior personal connection.

It did not warn the children that connecting to strangers might be dangerous.

After the girl and Valentin-Rios connected, Valentin-Rios began sending her unsolicited nude photographs, the lawsuit says.

The girl “did not want these photographs and, at first, did not reciprocate but Snapchat’s product design made it impossible for (her) to avoid such explicit content,” it says.

As part of its Snap Maps feature, the app also provided Valentin-Rios with the girl’s home address without her knowledge, according to the lawsuit.

Valentin-Rios then groomed the girl, convincing her that he was a 17-year-old local high school boy, not a 25-year-old man.

While the app requires users to be 13 to sign up, the lawsuit says the girl does not remember what birth date she entered and that children knew they could easily bypass the minimum-age requirement.

Eventually he got her to meet him in person and raped her.

Valentin-Rios pleaded guilty to statutory rape and is currently serving an 18-year prison sentence in Missouri.

The lawsuit claims Snapchat knew that Valentin-Rios had multiple accounts — even though it is against the app’s policies — including one he used to lure teen girls.

“We care deeply about the safety and well-being of all Snapchatters, and our teams have worked for years to build safeguards, launch safety tutorials, partner with experts, and work with law enforcement to help prevent the misuse of our platform,” Snap said in a statement.

The girl has been diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety and depression, according to the lawsuit.

The plaintiffs seek unspecified damages and are asking the court to compel Snap to stop practices that harm children.

“This assault did not happen in a vacuum — it happened because Snapchat’s product design made it easy for a predator to reach and manipulate an unsuspecting child,” said Matthew Bergman, founder of the Social Media Victims Law Center, which brought the suit on behalf of the plaintiffs. “Snap executives have long known that their features create a perfect environment for predators to exploit children, yet they have repeatedly failed to make the platform safe.”

This is not the first such lawsuit against Snap. New Mexico sued the company in 2024, saying the platform’s design features foster sextortion, sexual abuse and unwanted contact from adults to minors.

According to the lawsuit, Snap was well aware, but failed to warn parents, young users and the public that “sextortion was a rampant, ‘massive,’ and ‘incredibly concerning issue’ on Snapchat.” A judge denied the company’s motion to dismiss last year.

There are also individual lawsuits pending against the company, including one in Vermont on behalf of two 12-year-old girls who were sexually assaulted by an adult they met on Snapchat.

Drama Unfolds in The Valley: Janet’s Tearful Clash with Nia and Lala Confronts Danny Over Negative Post Likes

The Valley Recap: Janet Cries During Blowout With Nia and Calls Jesse an Idiot, Lala Calls Out Danny for Liking Negative Posts About the Capernas, and Zack and Jasmine Nearly Come to Blows

Aren’t birthdays meant to be joyful occasions? In the latest episode of The Valley, the celebration of Schwartzapalooza takes center stage, yet so does the conflict. When Lala confronts Danny, chaos ensues, unearthing old grievances that were never resolved within the group. A notable flashpoint arises when Janet refuses to apologize for the language she used last summer, prompting Nia to hold her ground.

As friends gather to celebrate Schwartz’s birthday, Luke arrives and suggests that Kristen isn’t any better. Then, Lala makes her entrance, bursting onto the scene with probing questions for Danny that most wouldn’t dare to ask.

She interrogates Danny about why he would endorse or comment on anything related to Janet and Jason online, particularly pointing out his engagement with a post about “cucking,” a hint at cuckolding.

Danny confesses to engaging with content concerning Janet and her relationship, yet Lala presses for more explanation, leaving Danny feeling provoked. According to Jesse, the timing couldn’t be better (note the irony). Janet produces evidence of Danny endorsing a derogatory post about her and Jason. Should the roles be reversed, she argues, others would scrutinize her actions similarly. Meanwhile, Nia insists she is unaffected—she’s embracing her ‘I don’t give a damn’ era.

Danny is getting stressed as Lala goes on and on and Jasmine reminds Danny that he always jumps in hot that way. Zack starts getting messy, and loud.  Jasmine does not understand why Zack is not checking Danny, but he is checking everyone else. This seems a bit hypocritical considering she literally asked him to defend her…so, I guess her problem is when Zack goes off on his own?

According to Zack, people have issues with Danny and instead of wanting to say it, they stay quiet. Zack goes off, screaming FU to everybody and Jasmine tries to get in his face. Zack yells that nothing is ever resolved because no one ever listens to anybody. He then storms off, with Benji and Schwartz trailing behind.

No one knows what just happened, but Jasmine is mad about Zack’s blind loyalty to Danny. Zack feels like he is in the middle of all the drama, but Schwartz seems to be more upset about not getting a birthday cake during his celebration.

Lala wants Danny to realize that he needs to stop liking nasty posts. Brittany reminds Danny that he even liked stuff about her. When you like something, you know what you’re doing.  Danny claims he does not know and in the meantime Janet is going off about him being a dumb loser to anyone that would listen.  The situation is getting out of hand.

Brittany can’t believe that Danny would think she was behind some mastermind plan that Jax concocted on their old podcast.  Evidently, Jax claimed he was going to take down Danny and Nia and because Brittany did not stand up and stop Jax, she was guilty by association…2 years ago. Danny finally apologizes to Brittany and Nia calls for a breather after the battle. The couple leaves to head back to their room.

No one can seem to have a conversation with Danny, including Nia. Nia maintains that she was trying to give his perspective in a calm manner, but Danny disagrees.

Lala believes that Danny was sent to bed because he “can’t show true colors” and Zack and co. re-enter after calming down. Lala wonders why Zack has blind loyalty towards Danny and Jasmine calls Zack a good friend who is getting walked all over. Interesting that Brittany and Michelle remain “blindly loyal” to Janet, yet they have problems when Zack evidently does the same. No one calls them out! But Janet thinks we cannot move on because everyone is still mad at her for talking about *the thing*.

The next morning, Zack feels refreshed and justified, a great way to start his birthday. But over at Luke and Kristen’s suite, things are different.  Kristen explains that she is feeling a lot better and Luke expresses how upset he is that she essentially thinks he is a bad dad. Kristen shares that Luke gets messed up and then does not sleep in bed, but Luke thinks her image of him is way worse than what is real.

Vacation Michelle has entered the chat. She jumps ropes bright and early and Brittany promises that she will not be drinking.  Right.  In the meantime, Danny meets Luke for some fishing. Luke points out that he heard Lala say that liking a nasty post about Jason and Janet is endorsing negativity.  When Lala joins them, she reminds Danny that there was no resolution because he left. Lala wonders that maybe the perception of Danny and Nia is wonderful, but the reality may not always be.  Danny admits that they do fight as a couple, just not in front of the group.

Danny reminds Lala that she does not know the whole story.  His name was attached to words that Janet put out in the universe and he has PTSD and trauma from last summer.  The character defamation affected Danny so much that he was working weekly with his therapist to get past what Janet said.  He admits that he should not have liked the comments and is still struggling.

Jasmine is trying to approach the day with some grace, as it’s Zack’s birthday, but she feels very disrespected after last night. Zack admits that emotions got the best of him and when Brittany arrives, she calls him out for being fresh. Zack claims he was mean because he “felt that way,” but admits that he should not have been that over the top.  He points out that the hiding and lying about drinking is his issue with Danny and he states he would tell him his feelings.

Nia does not want to be around Janet’s energy, but of course she gets to shop with her allllll afternoon. On the bus ride, Kristen explains her anxiousness with the baby and admits that she is a HSP- highly sensitive person.  Kristen also can’t believe that the group is fighting over Danny liking mean posts about Danny and Nia, since they all do stuff like that.

When it comes to Janet’s word choices to describe Danny’s actions (sexual assault), she refuses to apologize for saying the truth.  Nia believes that Janet only earlier apologized to Nia to save herself, and it seems like Janet is trying to put a mask on to be a new version of herself…but her true colors keep popping out.

Janet runs off to call Jason and can’t believe that everyone is rallying around and comforting Nia. She is annoyed, but they continue on their shopping trip.  While they do that, Danny and Luke join the poolside crew. Zack shares that the problem the night before was that there were so many conversations, but he focuses on Danny. He calls Danny out for his lying when it comes to drinking and for Zack, trust is everything.

Danny apologizes and claims he only had one drink at the apartment. Danny explains that last summer was hell and wonders who has his back. After a very productive conversation, it seems like they are all good, although Danny refuses to stake claim to the mysterious White Claw found at Brittany’s apartment.

The shopping group is able to sit down at the same table and if Jesse and Michelle can coexist, can Nia and Janet? Nia does not like that her words were twisted into something that wasn’t. Michelle explains that almost everyone in the group feels uncomfortable when Danny drinks. This group wants to make it an issue and Kristen points out that Brittany, Zack, and Jasmine are hot messes and could also stand to cut back on the drinking.

Naturally, Janet texts Brittany right away to narc out Kristen.  “Nia and Kristen are willing to paint Britt, Jasmine, and Zack in a bad light in order to protect Danny.” There does not seem like there can be any resolution and Janet calls Jesse a “dumb prick” when he tries to add in a few jabs.  Janet would rather exit than deal with this.

As she tries to evacuate the dinner table, Janet apologizes for speaking flippantly, but her choices and words say otherwise. According to Janet, this situation wouldn’t have happened if Danny didn’t do “weird sh*t” and he is still doing it. Janet runs away once again to call her husband and wonders why there is not a “shred of accountability” for Danny and his behavior.   She feels triggered because Danny is not perfect, but didn’t Danny at least already apologize for this last season??

Wendy’s Employees Accused of Serving Customer Contaminated Food Taken from Trash

0

In a shocking incident that has raised food safety concerns, three employees at a Wendy’s in South Carolina were taken into custody. The staff members are accused of retrieving discarded food from the trash and contaminating it with spit before serving it to a dissatisfied customer who had voiced complaints about her original order.

The individuals in question, Aaliyah Shuntai Sanders, 23, Trinity Lashell Rice, 19, and Shadela Crystal Holley, now face serious legal repercussions. They have been charged with tampering with a human drug product or food item for their actions at the Union location of Wendy’s.

Fox Carolinas relayed that the arrests were carried out separately over the span of several days between June 16 and June 22, bringing each suspect into custody.

The troubling episode unfolded on May 31 when a patron, after using the drive-thru, discovered a problem with her meal. She subsequently asked for a refund. Although the staff initially collected the complained-about food, they later offered to prepare a fresh order. The customer chose to accept this gesture and left the premises, unaware of what had transpired.

While driving, the customer received a phone call from someone at the restaurant who informed her that an employee had pulled her food from a trash can and spat on it.

Upon checking the meal, the woman realized the “new” order was actually the same food from her initial order.

She immediately contacted the police to report the incident. The victim also called the store to speak with the restaurant manager, who confirmed he had spoken with the staff and verified the allegations. The manager noted that all three employees involved had been written up.

Unveiling the Reality: Taylor Swift and Matty Healy’s Alleged Romance Explored

0

All eyes are turning toward pop sensation Taylor Swift as the countdown to her much-discussed wedding with Travis Kelce intensifies.

Speculation swirls around a potential ceremony at New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden on July 3. Meanwhile, discussions about whether former close friend Blake Lively will be in attendance are keeping fans and critics buzzing.

The spotlight recently shifted to whispers of a bachelorette party that reportedly occurred at her beachfront mansion in Rhode Island over the weekend.

This celebration coincided—perhaps by chance—with another glamorous bachelorette gathering.

This time, it was for Gabbriette Bechtel, the Instagram model engaged to Swift’s notorious ex-boyfriend, musician Matty Healy.

Unsurprisingly, it didn’t take long for social media to speculate that the dueling bachelorettes were yet another dig at Swift from the 28-year-old Bechtel, who started dating The 1975 front man just months after his controversial fling with Swift came to an end.

After all, Swift’s devoted legion of fans have often cited Bechtel’s cryptic social media postings as evidence of an alleged one-sided feud with the singer.

Gabbriette Bechtel, who is engaged to Swift’s ex-boyfriend Matty Healy, also celebrated her bachelorette party the same weekend as Swift

But according to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail, Swifties shouldn’t sharpen their pitchforks just yet.

‘It’s a total coincidence the parties were the same weekend,’ an insider told the Daily Mail. ‘Matty and Taylor were more of a hookup, so I don’t think anyone is thinking much of the other.’

Bechtel, herself the former lead singer of punk rock band Nasty Cherry, celebrated her engagement to Healy, 37, with a private flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas on Friday.

The model, wearing a vintage white Chanel skirt suit, kicked off festivities by being playfully handcuffed and carried onto the private jet by a tattooed policeman impersonator.

She and pals were then treated to a performance by an Elvis Presley impersonator, before attending Dita Von Teese’s residency at the Voltaire at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.

As for Swift, 36, her rumored bachelorette party reportedly took place at her $18 million mansion in Watch Hill, Rhode Island.

According to TMZ, guests were seen gathering at Swift’s 11,000-square-foot home early last week, with a massive security detail reportedly on hand.

By Saturday, talk was that an entourage of several SUVs had been spotted leaving Swift’s mansion. That evening, a massive fireworks display fired off from nearby Ocean House, a famous Rhode Island wedding venue.

Still, our source maintains that the timing of the two bachelorette parties was purely a coincidence and has nothing to do with rumors of a feud.

‘The two ladies celebrating their bachelorette parties would have nothing to do with one another and a complete coincidence,’ the insider said.

‘Taylor and Matty were never even that serious,’ they added.

Indeed, Swift’s whirlwind ‘casual’ romance with the British rocker fizzled out just as quickly as it began.

In May 2023, Swift sparked dating rumors with Healy just one month after it was revealed that her long-term relationship with British actor, Joe Alwyn, had ended.

While her split from Alwyn after more than six years caught many fans by surprise, her rumored fling with Healy was much less of a bombshell.

Perhaps that is because Swift and Healy have continually sparked romance rumors over the last decade, ever since she attended a 1975 concert in November 2014.

The pair publicly brushed off the dating speculation over the years, though they did collaborate on Swift’s 2022 album Midnights and performed onstage together in January 2023.

Fans also believe that Swift has long hinted at her years-long crush on Healy in her music, despite dating other men at the time.

But it seemed the pair had taken their platonic relationship to the next level, as they were photographed holding hands and spending date nights out in New York City throughout much of May that year. Healy also attended a string of Swift’s concerts early on in her record-breaking Eras Tour.

However, the couple soon found themselves swept up in controversy after a number of resurfaced comments made by Healy ignited fury among Swift’s protective fanbase.

In February 2023, Healy made a racially insensitive comment about the rapper Ice Spice, who just so happened to be featured on the remix of Swift’s 2022 single Karma around the same time. On stage, he also performed what looked like a Nazi salute while giving a shoutout to none other than Swift’s sworn enemy, Kanye West.

Following the backlash, it was reported in June 2023 that their ‘casual’ romance had simply ‘ran its course’ and there was ‘no drama’ between Swift and Healy.

But Swift wasn’t single for long, as she reportedly began dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, 36, by September that year – and the rest is history.

While the singer has happily moved on with her NFL star fiancé, who popped the question in August 2025 after two years of dating, it would appear that much of her ill-fated romance with Healy still weighs heavily on her mind.

It is believed that Swift’s 2024 album The Tortured Poets Department is heavily inspired by her relationship with Healy, including the tracks ‘But Daddy I Love Him,’ ‘Down Bad,’ ‘The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,’ and ‘Fresh Out The Slammer.’

Throughout the album, Swift describes an intense, ‘cosmic’ relationship and having strong romantic feelings with someone from her past while dating someone else. She appears to address criticisms from fans on songs like ‘I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)’ and ‘But Daddy I Love Him,’ in which she convinces herself that she can change the ways of a ‘wild boy.’

She also rips into a romantic partner for leading her on in ‘The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,’ and seemingly made a reference to Bechtel later on in the album when she sings about a man ‘having kids with some internet starlet’ in the future.

When asked about his reaction to The Tortured Poets Department at the time, Healy told paparazzi he hadn’t ‘really listened to that much of it’ but he was ‘sure it’s good.’

However, it would appear that Swift isn’t the only one to throw subtle shade, whether that be in her lyrics or online.

Back in October 2024, fans were convinced Bechtel took a swipe at Swift when a video showed the model talking through her makeup looks and preferences, including her particular distaste for a red lip.

In the video, Bechtel spoke disparagingly about the makeup trends she used to wear, which included ‘winged eyeliner’ and a ‘red lip’ – two bold looks the Eras Tour hitmaker is known for.

In August that year, fans also believed that Bechtel appeared to mock the singer’s songwriting skills.

Ahead of the release of Swift’s 2025 album, The Life of a Showgirl, she commented on a video from Saturday Night Life comedian Veronika Slowikowska, in which she imagined what some of the song titles on Swift’s upcoming album might sound like, including the song ‘Actually Romantic’.

In the comments section, Bechtel appeared to praise the comedian’s skit and wrote below the video, ‘Babe record actually romantic please.’

Bechtel’s comment seemed innocent enough, but rumors of their alleged feud were ignited even further as fans theorized that ‘Actually Romantic’ was about Bechtel’s friend, Charli XCX – who reportedly introduced Bechtel to Healy, seeing as she’s married to The 1975 drummer George Daniel.

For those who don’t know, the song ‘Everything Is Romantic’ off of Charli’s 2024 album, Brat, is widely believed to be about how insecure Charli felt around Swift when she was dating Healy.

In ‘Actually Romantic,’ Swift appeared to respond to the British pop star, 33, by calling all the attention ‘actually sweet’ and referenced Charli’s reaction to their breakup.

Even Healy’s famous mother Denise Welch chimed in during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, in which she shockingly told the audience that ‘being [Swift’s] mother-in-law is a role that I am glad that I lost.’

Welch, 68, also defended her son’s ‘gorgeous’ and ‘amazing’ fiancée Bechtel, as she declared her son has ‘moved on’ from his brief tryst with Swift.

However, Healy’s mother simply brushed off speculation about a dueling bachelorette weekend to our insider.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Swift and Healy for comment.

In June 2024, Bechtel confirmed her engagement to the 1975 singer after nine months of dating.

On Instagram, she shared a photo of her gothic engagement ring, which featured a black gem surrounded by pave diamonds around the stone and band. She captioned the post, ‘MARRYING THE 1975 IS VERY BRAT.’

Meanwhile, Kelce proposed to Swift in August 2025 at his home in Kansas City, Missouri, after two years of dating.

The singer announced their engagement on Instagram, sharing a picture of their rose garden proposal and captioning the post, ‘Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.’

Earlier this month, reports surfaced that Swift and Kelce were planning on having their wedding at the massive Madison Square Garden arena, located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.

At the time, a separate source told Daily Mail the couple are expected to tie the knot on Friday, July 3, as they’ve decided to ’embrace the spectacle’ of a giant wedding.

The iconic -venue is best known for concerts and professional sports, and can hold up to 22,000 people. However, it is unclear just how many people will be invited to witness Swift and Kelce tie the knot.

Insiders previously suggested that guests won’t know the location of the wedding until the morning of July 3.

The star-studded guests believed to be on the guest list include Swift’s pal Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid and her boyfriend Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Lena Dunham and Zoe Kravitz.

Kelce’s football coach, Andy Reid, 68, has already confirmed he will be attending. Also expected to be there are Kelce’s brother Jason Kelce, his teammate Patrick Mahomes and Mahomes’ wife Brittany.

A Look Back at Ryan Reynolds’ Alleged Past Romance with Rachael Leigh Cook Before Blake Lively

Ryan Reynolds has navigated through a series of high-profile relationships before finding lasting happiness with Blake Lively. His romantic history includes a marriage to Scarlett Johansson, an engagement to Alanis Morissette, and rumors of a fling with Sandra Bullock. However, one often overlooked chapter in Reynolds’ dating life was his brief romance with Hallmark star Rachael Leigh Cook. Their relationship began in 2001, around the time Cook was set to depart to England for her role in the film “Blow Dry.” In an effort to win her over, Reynolds paused his own work commitments to make a surprise visit to London. Despite this grand gesture, their relationship quickly fizzled, and by 2002, Reynolds had moved on to his next relationship with Morissette.

Both Reynolds and Cook have kept tight-lipped about their short-lived romance. Known for her roles in ’90s classics like “She’s All That” and “The Baby-Sitters Club,” Cook provided a rare glimpse into her relationship history during a 2005 interview with InStyle, after marrying Daniel Gillies from “The Vampire Diaries.” Reflecting on her past after tying the knot, Cook admitted, “I did my share of dating,” as reported by People. She humorously noted the gravity of marriage with, “I remember looking in the mirror one day after we got married and seeing my ring and thinking, ‘Wow, the party is over.’ But I’m so glad because I was never good at that.”

Inside Rachael Leigh Cook’s love life

While Reynolds enjoys a seemingly blissful marriage with Lively since 2012, Rachael Leigh Cook’s romantic journey has faced more turbulence. The actress and her husband Daniel Gillies shocked fans in 2019 with the announcement of their separation after 15 years of marriage, releasing a joint statement that emphasized their amicable split. The couple agreed to share custody of their children, Charlotte and Theodore, maintaining a close bond. In a conversation with ET, Cook reflected on their split, stating, “We got married when I was 24. I think we were just a little bit ahead of the curve, so it feels like we’re first, and that’s hard.” She fondly added, “I still love him to death,” and praised Gillies as “an amazing person” who remains her best friend.

Cook has since ventured back into the world of dating, optimistic about finding love anew. In 2021, following her divorce’s completion, she publicly began dating producer Kevin Mann, though that relationship eventually ended. She later sparked romance rumors with actor Brandon Routh when photos of them on a movie date surfaced. The duo confirmed their relationship by making a joint appearance on the red carpet at the 2026 premiere of “Slanted” in Los Angeles, cementing their status as a couple.

Despite her split from Gillies, Cook said she hasn’t ruled out marriage and would still consider walking down the aisle again should the right person come along. Although, as the mom-of-two told People in 2022, “[I] will be slightly more cautious in making that decision because I have kids involved and such in my life now.” But then, she added, “I wouldn’t say no.”

Socceroos Face Crucial Showdown Against Paraguay: What’s at Stake for Australia?

0

The Socceroos are eager to recover from their devastating defeat to the USA as they aim to secure progression to the knockout stages by triumphing over Paraguay in their concluding group stage match of the FIFA World Cup.

Australia stands in second place within Group D, and they can guarantee their advance to the Round of 32 with either a victory or a draw in the upcoming match in Santa Clara, which is located near San Francisco. This important game is set for 12 PM on Friday (AEST) and will be broadcast live and free via SBS or SBS On Demand.

Paraguay, initially seen as one of Australia’s more manageable opponents with a FIFA ranking of 37, has raised the stakes by defeating Türkiye in their recent encounter.

A significant topic of interest is whether Nestory Irankunda and Connor Metcalfe will return to the starting lineup. Both players contributed to Australia’s earlier win against Türkiye, where both found the net, but they were absent from the starting eleven in the match against the USA, which resulted in a 2-0 loss.

Against the USA, the Socceroos appeared subdued in the first half, allowing two goals before the break.

They improved dramatically after the break, with substitutes Irankunda, Metcalfe and Cristian Volpato injecting fresh energy into the game and helping swing momentum Australia’s way.

Coach Tony Popovic’s team selection came under scrutiny after the defeat, and it will be interesting to see whether he returns to the starting 11 that defeated Türkiye.

Paraguay star to miss the match

The Socceroos have been handed a boost with the absence of Paraguay star Miguel Almirón, who was sent off in his team’s 1-0 win over Türkiye on Saturday (AEST).

The midfielder became the first player to receive a red card under FIFA’s new rule banning players from covering their mouths during confrontations with opponents, a measure introduced to stamp out abusive comments.

Paraguay are a defence-first side, relying on quick transitions rather than patient build-up play. Their backline stood firm against Türkiye, despite the side being reduced to 10 men for the second half.

Fernando Romero is the only Paraguayan to play in the A-League. He worked under Popovic and alongside Socceroos Jason Geria, Paul Izzo and Nishan Velupillay at Melbourne Victory.

Romero provided some insight into the mood in Paraguay’s camp heading into the match.

“Right now, the spirits have risen again,” he told the Australian Associated Press in an interview translated from Spanish.

“We were very sad and we were very afraid to lose again in that second game and go out of the World Cup very quickly.

“So this game [against Türkiye] returned the hope of the people again. They saw the team we saw during the qualifying rounds for the World Cup again. So now people are hopeful again.

“This game against Australia, for sure it’s going to be a game of life or death.

“The one who wins goes on and the one who loses goes back to their country.”

It’s worth pointing out that the Socceroos could progress even if they lose, but it depends how the rest of the groups perform.

What’s at stake?

Australia and Paraguay are level on three points after one win each, with the Socceroos sitting second in Group D on overall goal difference.

A draw would be enough for Australia to remain second and qualify for the Round of 32, where they would face the runner-up from Group G — Belgium, New Zealand, Iran or Egypt.

A defeat would likely still see the Socceroos progress as one of the tournament’s eight best third-placed teams, but it would almost certainly mean a far tougher Round of 32 opponent — the winner of either Group E, Group I, or Group K.

As the standings currently sit, that means they would face Germany, France or Portugal.

Socceroos defender Jason Geria said Australia would be playing for the win against Paraguay.

“I think you’re cheating the game in a way if you’re looking to just call a truce with 10 minutes to go. That doesn’t seem right in my opinion,” Geria said.

“Yeah, we could both progress with a point, that’s evident, but I don’t think it’s in us to just concede or just take the foot off the gas.

“We want to win every game, regardless of who the opponent is or what the situation is.”

Australia v Paraguay head-to-head record

Australia and Paraguay have met five times, all in friendlies. The Socceroos hold the head-to-head record, with two wins and three draws. Their last match-up was a 1-0 home win for the Socceroos in Sydney in 2010.

When is kick-off?

The match kicks off at 12pm Friday AEST at San Francisco Bay Area Stadium.

Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester Sidesteps Socialism Inquiry Following NYC Primary

0

When asked about socialism’s advantage during recent New York primaries, Delaware Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester chose not to directly address its perceived benefits.

During a Wednesday morning segment on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” Blunt Rochester was queried about the primary election outcomes, in which three socialist contenders not only clinched victories but also unseated two current lawmakers.

Blunt Rochester opted not to discuss its potential implications on the Democratic Party’s direction; instead, she highlighted the overall success of the elections.

“First and foremost, seeing such unprecedented engagement from the populace is a positive development, especially as we mark this nation’s 250th anniversary,” Blunt Rochester remarked. “We aim to encourage participation. Regarding Democrats, and my efforts towards securing a majority, it’s clear that political strategies are inherently local.”

She elaborated on the diverse strategies employed by Democratic candidates based on their locales, noting that Alaska Senate candidate Mary Peltola is running on a platform centered around “fish, family, and freedom.”

“Fish might not work in New York, or it might not work in North Carolina, but that works there. And so for us, the most important thing is that we hear the people. We want to be known that we’re listening to them and that we’re fighting for them. And again, it might look different in different places across the country, but we do believe that people are concerned about this economy and the cost of things. And so we’re going to continue to fight for them. So to me, it’s a win-win,” Blunt Rochester said.

“Where has socialism ever worked, senator?” CNBC host Joe Kernen asked.

“Is that another question or is that for the next interview?” Blunt Rochester responded.

Kernen repeated his question, to which Blunt Rochester replied, “Well, when you have me come back on we can talk about all the races across the country.”

Kernen then acknowledged that the remark was a “rhetorical question that I was answering myself” and thanked her for her time.

Fox News Digital reached out to Blunt Rochester’s office for comment.

New York candidates Brad Lander, Claire Valdez and Darializa Avila Chevalier each campaigned on a socialist economic agenda, anti-Israel posture and opposition to Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Before the election, they were endorsed by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

Fox News’ Andrew Mark Miller contributed to this report.
