Explosive Fox Interview: Stephen A. Smith Clashes Over Trump and Knicks in Heated On-Air Confrontation

0

Stephen A. Smith found himself in a heated exchange with Fox News host Sean Hannity as he reiterated his criticism of Donald Trump for attending a New York Knicks game.

The tension between Smith and Trump has been simmering since Smith publicly declared he would hold the former president accountable if the Knicks were to lose Game 3 of the Finals. Unfortunately for Smith, his prediction came to pass when the Knicks suffered a defeat at the hands of the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night, with Trump in attendance.

Smith attributed the Knicks’ loss to Trump’s presence, suggesting that the former president’s attendance disrupted the team’s “mojo.” This sentiment seemed to resonate with some of the audience, as Trump was met with boos when his image appeared on the arena’s big screen.

As the verbal sparring between Smith and Trump continued, Smith sought to address the situation directly by appearing on Hannity’s show on Thursday. The intention was to “clear the air” amidst the ongoing public exchange of criticisms.

He and Trump have since exchanged barbs back and forth but on Thursday, Smith joined Hannity on his show to ‘clear the air.’

Despite their decades-long friendship, the conversation devolved into a shouting match after Smith told Hannity: ‘You tell me to stay in my lane? You don’t know sports!’

‘Excuse me?’ said Hannity.

‘Here’s the deal, Sean. I take no offense with the president coming after me the way that he did,’ Smith said. ‘He has every right to come back and clap back at me. I’m a big boy. I can take it.’

Trump told a reporter at Madison Square Garden that he thought Smith had a low ‘IQ’ after the game.

Smith responded by calling Trump ‘narcissistic and selfish’ on Tuesday’s First Take. He also challenged him to a debate.

Trump responded by claiming the ESPN star ‘would get annihilated’ in a Wednesday post to Truth Social.

But Smith went on to argue that Trump, as a Knicks fan, should see his point.

‘When you are a true sports fan, you know every little thing can disrupt the momentum,’ Smith said.

‘The momentum is there. Incredibly intimidating. And what does this guy do? He shows up.’

‘He disrupted the momentum and the fervor and that is why I blamed him for the loss in game three,’ the commentator continued.

Hannity shot back: ‘That’s nuts. That’s on them.’

'Here's the deal, Sean. I take no offense with the president coming after me the way that he did,' Smith told his old friend Hannity at a point. 'He has every right to come back and clap back at me. I'm a big boy. I can take it'

‘Let me finish,’ Smith said. He reiterated how the Knicks had been on a 13-game winning streak before their loss on Monday.

‘Donald Trump knows he had no business disrupting that mojo. [He’s] not a New York Knicks fan. Not a true New York Knicks fan.’

Hannity interrupted to ask: ‘Why? He’s the president of the United States.’

Several minutes of crosstalk followed, as the two debated who was to blame.

‘Time out!’ Smith said at a point.

The two eventually abandoned the tiff, turning to the violent celebrations seen from Knicks fans following their come-from-behind win over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4.

Both men agreed that lax lawmakers and local politicians were largely to blame.

Smith and Hannity have a lengthy history.

During a January appearance on Hannity’s Fox Nation show, Smith, 58, admitted: ‘We met at a time when I was really, really struggling in business.

‘I was doing an interview with Fox News, and I came out of there, and you saw me in the hallway and let me know that you had seen me a few times, and that you really, really liked what you were seeing and to keep up the great work.’

‘We just hit it off,’ Smith said, recalling his first appearance on Hannity in the mid 2000s.

Both now hold spots at the top of cable television.

Tragic Discovery: Missing 5-Year-Old Found in California Waters

The tragic discovery of a missing child, who was carried away by the ocean’s relentless waves off the coast of California, has brought a somber close to an intense search. The child, swept into the waters on Tuesday, was found on Thursday, as confirmed by officials from the City of Laguna Beach.

In a statement released by the Laguna Beach Police Department, it was detailed that the child was spotted during an early morning aerial reconnaissance of the coastline on June 11, 2026. The sighting provided a crucial lead in the search for the adolescent female, who had been pulled into the ocean near Treasure Island Beach just two days prior, on June 9.

The body was located roughly 250 to 300 yards off the coast of Christmas Cove, a point that lies just a quarter mile north of where she initially disappeared into the sea. Laguna Beach Marine Safety teams, with support from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Harbor Patrol, were quick to respond and successfully recovered the body.

In an unrelated but notable move, Laguna Beach has also enforced stricter regulations on beach setups, introducing fines of up to $500 for the use of sun shades and canopies. This policy shift aims to manage the popular vacation spot better and ensure safety for its visitors.

Amidst the unfolding tragedy, a Laguna Beach Park Ranger was seen vigilantly scanning the horizon on Wednesday, June 10, near the area where the child was lost to the ocean. This image, captured by Mindy Schauer and distributed by MediaNews Group/Orange County Register via Getty Images, encapsulates the ongoing efforts and the community’s collective concern during the search.

A GoFundMe campaign with a message attributed to the child’s family states, in part, “It is with unimaginable heartbreak that we share the passing of our beloved Amada Mia Brown. Amada was only five years old, but she filled every room she entered with joy, laughter, and light. She was a happy, cheerful, and loving little girl whose smile could brighten anyone’s day. She was deeply loved by her mother, family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know her.”

“Our family’s lives changed forever following a tragic accident on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, in Laguna Beach. After an extensive search, Amada was found and has now been reunited with her loved ones. While we are grateful to have answers, our hearts are shattered by this devastating loss,” another portion of the message declared.

A Wednesday press release noted that “Based on preliminary information, a mother and her two children were swept into the ocean by powerful water [c]onditions while near the shoreline. Bystanders immediately entered the water and successfully rescued the mother and one child.”

The child’s mother “was doing anything any mother would do, take her children out to have a good time,” the little girl’s father, Aaron Brown, said in a KABC news report. “Unfortunately, the waves were a little bit too much.”

The discovery of the body occurred after search efforts had wound down.

The U.S. Coast Guard noted in a Thursday press release that it had suspended its search on Wednesday evening.

“Our deepest condolences go out to the child’s family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time,” Capt. Stacey Crecy, commander of Coast Guard Sector Los Angeles-Long Beach, said. “Suspending a search is an extremely difficult decision. We launched assets and responded as quickly as possible, continuously searching throughout the night and until sunset on June 10, 2026. We worked hand-in-hand with first responders in Laguna Beach to carry out a coordinated and thorough search of the area.”

A Wednesday City of Laguna Beach release noted that “As of sunset on June 10, 2026, Laguna Beach Marine Safety personnel and assisting agencies have concluded the dedicated search and recovery operation for the adolescent female who went missing in the ocean from Treasure Island Beach on the evening of June 9, 2026.”

Influencer ‘Human Barbie’ to Undergo Pioneering Designer Vagina Surgery

0

In Hollywood, the latest trend in body modifications is making waves far from the usual facial enhancements. The focus now is on a more intimate area, setting a new frontier in cosmetic procedures.

Marcela Iglesias, known as the “human Barbie,” is gearing up for her next bold cosmetic venture: a designer vagina makeover. This procedure will utilize donor-derived tissue, more commonly referred to as cadaver fat, to achieve the desired effect.

The Argentinian reality TV star shared her plans with The California Post, revealing that she will undergo this innovative transformation in Beverly Hills this summer. Her chosen surgeon for this delicate operation is Dr. Ariel Ourian, a notable name in the field of plastic surgery.

Based in Calabasas, Iglesias is no stranger to breaking new ground in the world of cosmetic enhancements. Just last year, she made headlines by undergoing a novel anti-aging procedure that involved a blood transfusion using her son’s blood.

For this upcoming transformation, Iglesias is set to rejuvenate her most private area by combining several procedures: a labiaplasty, a reduction of the clitoral hood, and the distinctive fat transfer technique. This ambitious makeover aims to turn back the clock on her intimate appearance.

“The same way we lose volume on the face with the years, we lose volume down there on the lips,” Iglesias told The Post. “I wanted it to look a little more plump and youthful. This is basically a facelift for the vagina.”

While a traditional labiaplasty reshapes the area, Iglesias’s procedure is uniquely unusual because it involves injecting tissue harvested from deceased donors.

The cosmetic upgrade quickly turned into a functional enhancement during her consultation at Dr. Ourian’s Bedford Drive clinic, when he suggested adding a clitoral hood reduction to the ticket.

“I asked, ‘Why do I need that?’ and he told me, ‘Well, more sensation,’” Iglesias recalled with a laugh. “I’m like, ‘Really? Wow, let’s go!’ It’s not a need, it’s a want. A lot of women don’t even put a mirror down there to see how their parts look. Why not build the best version of yourself?”

The procedure is expected to take place in early July and could cost between $25,000 and $30,000, according to Iglesias.

She hopes to avoid general anesthesia and instead undergo the procedure with local anesthesia. Recovery is expected to take roughly two weeks.

Iglesias moved to Los Angeles from Buenos Aires 26 years ago because she thought “everyone looked like the Baywatch people.” She waited until her son turned 21 before undergoing her first major surgery in 2022 with Dr. Ourian, which was a Baywatch-inspired breast augmentation to achieve a classic “Pamela Anderson look.”

Over the years, she has made headlines for a string of unconventional treatments, including a so-called “spider butt lift” using PDO threads, leech therapy, stem cell infusions and even drinking live insects as part of an alternative wellness regimen.

Despite her reputation, Iglesias does not embrace extreme cosmetic procedures.

“For me, extreme is removing ribs or changing your bone structure,” she said. “That’s not something I would do. I’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly.”

“We have the chance to look good, feel better about ourselves, and maintain our appearance,” Iglesias said. “So, why not?”

Court Rejects Kennedy Center’s Bid to Delay Removal of Trump’s Name from Building

0

WASHINGTON (AP) — On Friday, a judge rejected the Kennedy Center’s bid to delay a ruling that mandates the removal of President Donald Trump’s name from the building.

Should the Kennedy Center opt not to appeal the decision made by U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper, it could soon lead to Trump’s name being taken down. In his ruling last month, Judge Cooper emphasized that only Congress has the authority to alter the Kennedy Center’s name, instructing that any references to Trump be removed by Friday.

The Kennedy Center has yet to provide a comment regarding the verdict. Meanwhile, workers have been observed erecting scaffolding around a part of the building that currently bears Trump’s name.

Judge Cooper’s previous ruling declared the addition of Trump’s name to the renowned Washington arts venue as unlawful. On Thursday evening, despite a last-ditch effort by Trump’s appointees on the center’s board to retain his name on the building’s front, Cooper declined to halt his order.

According to a June 4 memorandum from the Kennedy Center’s Office of General Counsel, all email signatures, letterhead, and related documents must now refer to the establishment as “The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts” or simply the “Kennedy Center.”

The Kennedy Center’s website has dropped Trump’s name. And an earlier email sent to members offering ticket packages for the June 28 Mark Twain Award for American Humor ceremony came from the Kennedy Center without including Trump’s name.

After ignoring the Kennedy Center for much of his first term, Trump has wielded tremendous influence over the venue during his return to office. Just a month into his second term, he ousted the center’s previous leadership and replaced it with a board of trustees that named him chairman.

In his earlier ruling, Cooper also blocked the administration from closing the cultural and arts venue for major renovations that had been planned to start in July and last for two years.

Tragic Midland Shooting: One Fatality and Multiple Injuries in Texas Incident

0

Tragedy struck Midland, Texas, on Friday as a shooting left one person dead and several others injured.

The suspect, who had barricaded himself inside a downtown building, is now deceased, according to an announcement by the city on social media.

Midland Mayor Lori Blong reported that 11 individuals were affected by the incident. Authorities quickly set up a secured perimeter, urging locals to steer clear of the area. The exact location of the shooting remains unclear.

During a press briefing, Mayor Blong mentioned that details about the shooter were still unconfirmed. Law enforcement utilized drones and robots to verify the suspect’s death.

The FBI is aware of the shooting and has Special Agents and Victim Services personnel from its Midland satellite office on scene, a bureau source told News Media.

The situation began in southeast Midland and progressed across south Midland, Blong said, before police were first dispatched at 8:03 a.m. local time.

Midland Memorial Hospital said it had received nine victims from the shooting, with four sent to the operating room and five considered stable. Three victims have been discharged, one is out of surgery and three are still in surgery, the hospital said in an update.

The hospital’s main campus went on lockdown for nearly two hours due to the shooting.

Andrea Mendias said she heard what sounded like a small explosion at the closed veterinary clinic next to the body shop where she works and saw a number of heavily armed police officers rush into the parking lot. Some appeared to go inside the building.

Mendias said she earlier heard what sounded like at least 40 gunshots.

Video from Mendias showed officers pouring out of the back of an armored police vehicle and police deploying robots into the area.

“Cecilia and I are deeply saddened by the senseless act of violence in Midland,” Texas Gov. Greg Abbott wrote on social media. “We are praying for the victims, their families, and the entire community.”

Aussie Family’s Last-Minute Call Sparks Urgent Quest for Truth: Unraveling the Mystery

0

On the evening of his birthday, Melbourne local Manan Sheth received a call from his father, Dr. Himanshu Sheth. Neither of them could have imagined it would be their last conversation.

Just hours later, Dr. Sheth, an anaesthetist en route to London for work, tragically lost his life along with 240 others when Air India Flight 171 met disaster shortly after taking off from Ahmedabad, a major city in western India.

The crash dealt an especially poignant blow as the Boeing 787 Dreamliner went down on the very campus where Dr. Sheth had once trained as a medical student.

As the anniversary of this devastating event draws near, Manan and his wife, Hetal Sheth, are reflecting on the profound loss of a father, doctor, and mentor. They honor his enduring legacy while grappling with the unanswered questions stemming from what is considered the deadliest aviation accident in a decade.

As the anniversary of the tragedy approaches, Manan and his wife Hetal Sheth are remembering the father, doctor and mentor they lost, the legacy he left behind and the questions that remain unanswered following the world’s deadliest aviation accident in a decade.

One year on: What investigators know so far

On 12 June 2025, Air India flight 171 departed Ahmedabad for London’s Gatwick Airport carrying 230 passengers, 10 cabin crew and two pilots.

Less than a minute after take-off, the aircraft crashed into the hostel and canteen building of BJ Medical College, around 1.5km from the runway.

The disaster claimed the lives of 241 people on board. Only one passenger survived — British national Vishwashkumar Ramesh, whose escape from the wreckage stunned investigators and observers alike. Nineteen people on the ground were also killed, bringing the total number of lives lost to 260.

The official cause of the crash has not yet been determined.

A preliminary report released by India’s Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) last year found that fuel to the aircraft’s engines was cut off shortly before the crash. The report did not assign blame or reach a conclusion on whether the disaster was caused by technical failure, human error, maintenance issues or broader systemic factors.

Indian authorities were expected to release a more detailed report on the first anniversary as investigators continue to examine the circumstances that led to the crash. However, the report is likely to be delayed, according to a report by the Reuters news agency.

According to media reports, India’s civil aviation minister, Ram Mohan Naidu, said earlier this year that the investigation was in its final stage and could even be completed within a month.

“However, the investigation is being done by the AAIB, and we don’t interfere in it. We are giving them all the resources they need,” he said in May.

Emphasising the need for transparency, Naidu said the final report would be subject to international scrutiny because the flight was also carrying 61 foreign nationals.

For families like the Sheths, the findings cannot change what happened. But one year on, many are still hoping they will help explain why.

The last phone call

For Manan, who lives with his wife and two daughters in Melbourne’s western suburb of Rockbank, the memories of 12 June 2025 begin not with news alerts or television coverage, but with a phone call from his father.

It was Manan’s birthday and Himanshu had called to wish him well before beginning his journey to London.

Like countless conversations they had shared over the years, it was routine and familiar.

“My father called me to wish me for my birthday. He said, ‘I just called you to wish you before I board the plane. Enjoy your day. I will call you tomorrow once I reach London,’” the 45-year-old tells SBS Gujarati.

Neither could have imagined it would be the last time they would speak.

Hours later, as the family was preparing to go out for a birthday dinner, reports emerged that an Air India flight bound for London had crashed shortly after taking off from Ahmedabad.

Initially, the family struggled to believe what they were hearing.

But as details slowly became clearer, Manan and his family were confronted with a reality they struggled to comprehend: Himanshu had been on board.

“We had just spoken to him, we thought it might be a minor incident and that he would simply take another flight,” he says.

When we saw the news on television and images of a massive fireball, and people were taken to the hospital, we realised that it was a huge disaster.

In the chaotic hours that followed, information was scarce and often conflicting. Families across India, the United Kingdom and around the world searched for updates, clinging to hope as authorities worked to establish who had survived.

“Even then, we searched desperately for signs of survivors, hoping to find our father’s name among those taken to the hospital,” Hetal tells SBS Gujarati.

She says that hope faded as the scale of the disaster became clear.

A doctor, mentor and guiding force

To many people, Himanshu was a highly respected medical professional.

To his family, he was much more.

A framed photo of an elderly man, adorned with a string of pearls, is placed on a kitchen island.

Manan describes his father as both a parent and a trusted friend. Whenever he faced an important decision, whether personal, professional, or financial, he says his father was often the first person he called.

“He was always there to help,” he says.

Friends, relatives and colleagues regularly sought Himanshu’s advice.

“No matter the time of day or the nature of the problem, he was willing to listen and guide people in the right direction,” Manan says.

Hetal also remembers him as a warm and caring person who she says brought people together.

Where it all began, it ended

Manan says, for his father, the BJ Medical College was more than a place of study. It was where he laid the foundation for his medical career, built lifelong friendships, and began imagining the future.

Rescue workers stand under a burnt and partially constructed building.

It was also where he met his future wife.

“My father’s professional journey had begun at that campus. Many of his lifelong friendships were formed there. His future family had its roots there,” he says.

The family did not immediately realise the significance of the location when the news of the crash first emerged. It was only later, as they reflected on old memories and family stories, that the connection became fully apparent.

For Manan, the coincidence remains difficult to process.

It is an unimaginable twist of fate. Where he studied, his life came to an end.

The long wait for confirmation

Soon after learning of the crash, the family travelled to India.

What followed was an agonising wait as authorities worked to identify victims through DNA testing, but days passed without confirmation.

Manan recalls the uncertainty of those first days.

“As soon as we reached India, we followed all the procedures to search for our father’s body,” he says.

“My uncle gave his DNA samples, but it couldn’t match.

“Every morning brought fresh hope and fresh disappointment. After nearly ten days, a second DNA sample was requested. We finally received confirmation, and that moment brought mixed emotions.”

There was relief in having certainty, but it came alongside the devastating confirmation of what they had feared.

Despite the circumstances, the family says government agencies, hospital staff and emergency officials supported them throughout the process, assisting with documentation, transport and funeral arrangements.

Still seeking answers

One year on, the Sheths continue to follow developments in the investigation.

Like many families affected by the disaster, they say they are still waiting for clarity about what led to the tragedy.

“For us, accountability is not about blame. It is about understanding what happened and ensuring future tragedies can be prevented,” Hetal says.

The family has remained in contact with relatives of other victims as they continue to monitor updates on the investigation.

“We have a right to know what happened,” Manan says.

A life remembered, a loss lived daily

In the months since the crash, life has settled into a different rhythm for the family in Melbourne, though Himanshu’s absence is still felt in everyday moments.

Conversations that once came easily now feel unfinished, and decisions that were once shared now sit in silence.

Across generations, Manan says his father’s memory lives on in different ways — in fragments remembered by grandchildren, in guidance recalled by relatives and in the presence friends say they still miss.

For Manan, the absence is most present in the ordinary moments of daily life.

“Whenever I used to ask him to come to Australia, he used to crack a joke and say, ‘I don’t have money to buy flight tickets, please buy for me so I can visit.’”

Beyond the investigation and the headlines, Manan says his father would be remembered not for how his life ended, but for how he lived it.

David Beckham Celebrates New Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

0

On a star-studded evening in Hollywood, Sir David Beckham was joined by legendary actor Tom Cruise as he celebrated the unveiling of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The event, which took place on Friday night, showcased a warm camaraderie between Beckham and Cruise, with the two exchanging fist bumps while seated in the front row next to Victoria Beckham.

David Beckham, a father of four, was accompanied by three of his children—Romeo, Cruz, and Harper. Noticeably absent was his eldest son, Brooklyn, even though the ceremony occurred just a short drive from Brooklyn’s lavish home in the Trousdale Estate. Despite the absence, the family appeared in high spirits as they marked this significant milestone.

Expressing his gratitude, Beckham shared how fortunate he felt to be honored with a star on the iconic Walk of Fame.
