Taylor Swift and Kylie Jenner Unite in Excitement After Knicks’ Thrilling Comeback Victory

0

Taylor Swift and Kylie Jenner shared a warm hug following the New York Knicks’ thrilling comeback against the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals.

The music icon, boasting 14 Grammy Awards, reached out to embrace the reality star amid the exhilarating post-game celebrations on the court at Madison Square Garden, as captured in online videos.

“That was insane,” Jenner remarked, clearly taken aback by the game’s intensity. She attended the event with her boyfriend, actor Timothée Chalamet, a New Yorker and a passionate Knicks supporter.

Swift, who holds numerous properties in the city, beamed with enthusiasm as she concurred with Jenner’s sentiments.

The interaction caught some fans off guard, given the history between Swift and the Kardashian-Jenner family. Back in 2016, Swift was embroiled in a highly publicized dispute with Jenner’s sister, Kim Kardashian, concerning a recorded phone call about Kanye West’s controversial track “Famous.”

Swift denied that she had consented to a lyric — “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous” — and she was called a “liar” and a “snake” in the public eye.

Her 2024 song,“thanK you aIMee” is an apparent diss track about the situation.

It was a brief interaction between Swift and Jenner, but a friendly one in the star-studded crowd.

In another on-court video, Chalamet declared “Knicks in 5” after his hometown team pulled off a historic comeback to beat the Spurs 107-106 in a Game 4 nail-biter.

A go-ahead tip-in by Knicks forward OG Anunoby with 2.1 seconds remaining secured the victory after New York rallied back from down by 29 in the second half.

The Knicks could close out the series in Game 5 in San Antonio on Saturday to clinch their first championship in 53 years.

Norwegian Royal Family Drama: Future Queen’s Son Denied Prison Leave Sparks Controversy

0

Just days before the verdict in his trial involving 40 serious charges, including rape, a Norwegian appeal court has denied Marius Borg Hoiby’s plea for temporary release from custody. He sought to be with his mother, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, as she battles a severe illness.

This recent decision overturns a prior ruling by a lower court that had permitted the 29-year-old to leave custody to support his mother, who is grappling with pulmonary fibrosis. This progressive condition causes damage and scarring to lung tissue, and she has recently been added to the lung transplant list.

Hoiby’s legal team argued that his presence was crucial due to the possibility that each visit with his mother, from her previous relationship before marrying Crown Prince Haakon, might be their final farewell.

Earlier this month, the Oslo District Court initially allowed Hoiby’s release, acknowledging the gravity of his mother’s health condition. However, a higher court reversed this decision on Wednesday, citing a ‘strong likelihood’ that he might reoffend, according to NRK . The verdict in Hoiby’s trial is expected on June 15.

This case marks another chapter in the tumultuous saga of Norway’s royal family, with Hoiby being arrested on August 4, 2024, following allegations of assaulting his girlfriend the previous night.

Hoiby has been charged with 40 offences, including rape and assault, making death threats, assaulting a public official and violating the road traffic act. He is said to have ‘strongly denied’ the ‘essentials’ of the allegations against him.

At the same time, Mette-Marit has faced backlash after her bond with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein came to light, with the Epstein files revealing that frequent communication between her and Epstein occurred long after he pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting an underage girl.

Additional drama is simultaneously unfolding for the royal family with the upcoming arrival of a second reality TV show by King Harald and Queen Sonja’s eldest daughter, Princess Martha Louise, and her ‘shaman’ husband, Durek Verrett.

The couple’s first Netflix show, Rebel Royals: An Unlikely Love Story, took an ‘intimate look’ at the love story between Martha Louise and the Hollywood ‘half-reptilian and bisexual’ shaman.

The film followed the couple as they ‘navigated a swirl of controversy’ and prepared for their wedding, which took place in the picturesque small town of Geiranger in 2024.

In a move dubbed ‘Norway’s Megxit’, Martha Louise relinquished her royal role in November 2022.

Eyebrows were raised when the princess first began dating Verrett, who holds some controversial and pseudoscientific views, including that cancer in children can be caused by ‘being unhappy’.

The couple were introduced by friends in 2019 and have claimed to have known each other in a past life, specifically from ancient Egypt.

Their latest reality TV venture adds to what has been one of the toughest periods for the Norwegian throne in modern times.

Mette-Marit’s eldest son went on trial in Oslo in February for multiple offences, including charges of rape.

He has been under scrutiny since he was repeatedly arrested in 2024 on preliminary charges of bodily harm and criminal damage.

Challenges intensified earlier this year again, when the future Queen’s seemingly intimate bond with her ‘sweetheart’, Jeffrey Epstein, came to light – with one email released in the Epstein Files suggesting she was still in contact with the late paedophile financier just months before his death.

WHAT IS PULMONARY FIBROSIS?

Pulmonary fibrosis is a condition in which the lungs become scarred and breathing becomes increasingly difficult.

It’s not clear what causes it, but it usually affects people around 70-75 years of age and is rare in people under 50.

Several treatments can help reduce the rate at which IPF gets worse, but there’s currently no treatment that can stop or reverse the scarring of the lungs.

The symptoms of IPF tend to develop gradually and get slowly worse over time.

Symptoms can include:

  • Shortness of breath
  • A persistent dry cough
  • Tiredness
  • Loss of appetite and weight loss
  • Rounded and swollen fingertips also called clubbed fingers

There is no cure and it’s very difficult to predict how long someone with IPF will survive at the time of diagnosis.

Regular monitoring over time can indicate whether it’s getting worse quickly or slowly.

While it was known that the Princess had corresponded with Epstein, the intimacy of the emails blows apart any suggestion that the pair were mere associates, with the late paedophile referring to her as ‘twisted’ and ‘not your typical royal’.

The princess was forced to apologise in February after she faced scrutiny over her contact with the dead sex offender.

Last month, she made a rare public appearance for the constitution parade – one of the first times the royal has been spotted wearing an oxygen mask to aid her breathing at a public event.

Together with her husband, 52, and son, Prince Sverre Magnus, 20, the family watched the children’s parade from their residence, Skaugum in Oslo, Norway.

The couple’s daughter, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, meanwhile, has cut her bachelor’s degree short at the University of Sydney as her mother’s health worsens – and her grandmother, Queen Sonja, was diagnosed with heart failure last month.

The 22-year-old moved to Australia to study a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney. Her degree is focused on international relations and political economy.

She was seven months into the three-year degree and had been staying at the prestigious St Andrew’s College, which costs up to $45,000 a year.

The Princess has maintained a low profile since beginning her studies in Australia, with the Royal House of Norway last year requesting that she have a ‘normal’ university experience.

It is unclear when, or if, Princess Ingrid will return to resume her degree.

Major Coverage Gaps Emerge as States Experience Significant Obamacare Enrollment Declines

0

Recent state enrollment figures have unveiled a troubling trend regarding Affordable Care Act (ACA) coverage, highlighting a more severe decline than previously expected. The root of the issue seems to lie in Congress’s decision not to extend the enhanced subsidies that had been supporting many enrollees.

An analysis conducted by Georgetown University reveals that states such as Arkansas, Colorado, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Mexico, and New York have experienced a notable number of individuals either canceling their insurance plans or failing to pay their premiums after initially enrolling for coverage in 2026. This data, collected up until April, paints a concerning picture of the current healthcare landscape.

Until now, federal officials have only provided data on the initial sign-ups recorded during the open enrollment period, including those whose coverage was automatically renewed at the end of 2025. However, this does not offer a complete view of the situation.

The 2026 open enrollment period witnessed a decline in sign-ups, dropping by 1.2 million—a 5 percent decrease from the previous year and the most significant reduction since the ACA marketplaces were established in 2014. This downturn suggests deeper issues within the system.

Researchers Stacey Pogue and Sabrina Corlette emphasize the importance of examining actions taken by individuals after receiving their first premium bill. The full impact of the enrollment decline becomes apparent only when considering these subsequent decisions, revealing a more nuanced understanding of the challenges facing ACA coverage today.

Analysts anticipate overall 2026 marketplace enrollment dropping by about 5 million people this year, with more losses to come in 2027 as policies from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and potential Trump administration regulation changes take effect.

The loss of the enhanced premium subsidies has hit enrollees hard, and health costs will likely play a key role in November’s midterm elections.

Initial data from several state exchanges showed that plan cancellations are up 24 percent compared to March 2025. In states that reported demographics, the people who cancelled were most likely to be middle-income consumers who lost financial help when the enhanced premium tax credits expired.

The lowest-income enrollees were already shielded from rate hikes by state-funded subsidies and were the only group less likely to drop coverage compared to last year.

Maryland, for instance, saw a 13 percent drop between January and April, compared with 3 percent last year. Arkansas saw a 16 percent decrease, double the amount from 2025.

Massachusetts experienced a 14 percent decline, compared with 6.7 percent last year, while New Mexico experienced a more than 8 percent decrease, compared with just 0.5 percent in 2025.

“While a drop-off in this period is not unexpected, the magnitude of the decrease compared to last year is stark,” Pogue and Corlette wrote. “This is a small sample of states, but these early indicators may not bode well for national outcomes.”

Iran Threatens to Close Strait of Hormuz to Maritime Traffic in Response to US Airstrikes

0

In brief

  • The US has launched a fresh wave of strikes on Iran after saying that the Iranians were delaying making a deal.
  • Iran has vowed to retaliate, accusing the US of “war crimes” as they claim civilian infrastructure has been impacted.

The U.S. has initiated a series of fresh assaults on various sites in Iran, with President Donald Trump warning of further actions unless a peace agreement is reached.

The Central Command of the U.S. military confirmed the completion of these operations roughly four hours after they commenced, just past midnight in Tehran on Thursday. In a statement on X, it was revealed that the targets encompassed “military surveillance capabilities, communication systems, and air defense installations throughout Iran.”

Central Command stated, “These strikes are a direct response to Iran’s baseless and persistent acts of aggression.”

This recent offensive marks a significant turn in the escalating series of exchanges that risk sparking a renewed large-scale conflict, following a tentative ceasefire established in early April.

In retaliation, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced they had targeted 18 U.S. military locations at bases in Kuwait and Bahrain. Meanwhile, Bahrain’s interior ministry reported that warning sirens were activated.

Iran’s top joint military command also warned it would fire on any vessel attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, which has been largely closed for months. Iranian media reported that two ships were fired upon.

US Central Command denied that the strait was closed, saying commercial ships were still transiting the strait despite Iran’s threats. Trump said earlier in the day that vessels have been crossing the strait without Iran’s permission as part of a clandestine military mission.

Trump told Fox News reporter Trey Yingst on Thursday that the strikes would stop shortly but that he would “bomb the s— out of” Iran if its leaders did not sign an agreement with the US immediately, Yingst wrote on X.

Iranian news agencies reported explosions in several cities, including Sirik, Kargan, Bandar Abbas, Minab, Varamin and Karaj.

US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth presented the move as an effort to force Iran into a deal to end the conflict, telling reporters during a visit to Central Command in Florida that the strikes would “advance our military interests and also enhance our diplomatic position”.

The violence sparked calls for de-escalation from Iranian allies Russia and China.

A Chinese foreign ministry spokesman called on both sides to “stop intensifying the conflict and escalating the situation”.

Trump ‘loves’ inflation as oil fears mount

The conflict has sent energy prices skyrocketing after Tehran retaliated by virtually closing the vital Strait of Hormuz, through which roughly a fifth of global oil normally passes.

Inflation has risen sharply in the US and across the world, driven largely by a spike in oil prices.

On Thursday, Trump appeared to embrace the latest data showing US consumer inflation had climbed above 4 per cent in May, its fastest pace in three years, while insisting prices would ease once the war ended.

Asked whether rising inflation could hurt Republican prospects ahead of November’s midterm elections, Trump told reporters: “I love the inflation.”

Trump said vessels carrying 100 million barrels of oil have defied Iran to travel through the strait as part of a secret military mission. He said oil prices would be much higher without the effort.

Hegseth said ships have been transiting the strait “in the middle of the night, protected by the United States in a way that Iran can’t stop, they can’t see it”.

Oil prices rose nearly US$3 ($4.26) following Trump’s threat of escalation, to $94 ($134.34) per barrel.

Trump has previously described the war as a detour, framing it as a national security issue rather than an economic one, despite concerns the closure of the shipping route could continue to drive up the cost of fuel, fertiliser and other goods.

“When it’s over, you will see oil drop to where it was before,” Trump said.

“It’s coming down. It’s going to come down like a rock.”

But analysts and industry executives warned supply disruptions could persist even if the strait reopens, with broader effects on global markets and consumer prices expected to continue into next year.

Higher energy prices could also complicate efforts by the US federal reserve to lower interest rates and reduce borrowing costs, ahead of the November midterm elections.

Fighting continues in Lebanon

Fighting in a parallel war between Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah militants in Lebanon has continued.

Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon killed at least 13 people on Wednesday, Lebanese security sources said, while Hezbollah claimed fresh attacks against Israeli forces.

Iran’s demands include an end to Israel’s attacks in Lebanon, the lifting of sanctions on Iran, the release of billions of dollars in frozen assets, and recognition of its control of the strait.

Trump says Iran must end its restrictions on shipping through Hormuz. He also says any peace deal must ensure Iran cannot develop a nuclear weapon.

Iran denies any such ambition.

The UN nuclear watchdog’s 35-nation Board of Governors passed a US-backed resolution on Wednesday telling Iran to declare its remaining enriched uranium stocks and let inspectors verify them. Iran branded the resolution as “political”.

‘We’ve packed our things’

Iran has insisted any deal to end the war must include a truce in Lebanon, which was drawn into the conflict when Iran-backed Hezbollah militants within its borders fired rockets at Israel on 2 March.

Israel responded with airstrikes and a ground invasion that have killed more than 3,600 people, while exchanges of fire with Hezbollah have continued despite a nominal truce.

On Wednesday, a medical source told the Agence France-Presse (AFP) that Israeli strikes on south Lebanon had killed 12 people.

A strike hit the centre of Sidon, with an AFP correspondent seeing a car burning and emergency personnel heading to the scene after hearing a blast.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, meanwhile, called on the Lebanese people to join Israel’s fight against Hezbollah, saying their country had been taken “hostage” by the group.

On Tuesday, the Israeli military had told the entire southern city of Tyre to evacuate.

“We’ve packed our things, and we’re leaving,” Tyre resident Elias Barbour told AFP.

“What have we done wrong? What are we supposed to do?”

Austin Metcalf’s Backers Clash with Karmelo Anthony’s Defenders Following Verdict (Watch Now)

0

In a courtroom drama that has captured public attention, Karmelo Anthony was found guilty of the murder of Austin Metcalf. The verdict was delivered on June 9, marking the end of a trial that has sparked intense emotions on both sides. Anthony had claimed that the incident, which occurred in April of the previous year, was a tragic act of self-defense. However, the jury did not accept this defense.

Following the verdict, tensions reached a boiling point outside the courthouse. Supporters of Austin Metcalf clashed with those backing Karmelo Anthony, leading to a heated exchange that underscored the deep divide in public opinion over the case. The confrontation was emblematic of the broader societal debates surrounding issues of self-defense and justice.

The case has been closely followed, with many people taking to social media to express their views. The image of Karmelo Anthony leaving the courtroom, juxtaposed with the sorrow of Metcalf’s supporters, has become a powerful symbol in the ongoing dialogue about crime and punishment in America.

As the dust settles from the verdict, questions linger about the implications of this case for future self-defense claims. Legal analysts are divided, with some suggesting that this could set a precedent that might influence how similar cases are judged. For now, both families are left to grapple with the outcome, each trying to find closure in a situation marked by tragedy and loss.

Farage Condemns Presence of ‘Beheader,’ Highlights Legitimate Protesters’ Calls for Change

0

Reform UK’s leader, Nigel Farage, criticized disruptive individuals while affirming that most demonstrators in Belfast have legitimate grievances, which the government is failing to address sensibly.

Farage highlighted the escalating issues in the United Kingdom, where incidents of migrant-related crimes, including brutal murders and alleged attempted beheadings, are becoming alarmingly regular. This surge in crime has understandably left the public anxious and clamoring for significant governmental action. He emphasized that individuals like Hadi Alodid, the 30-year-old Sudanese suspect involved in a recent attack, should not have been in the UK.

His comments were in reaction to a reported “attempted beheading” in Belfast, Northern Ireland, which has sparked protests against such violence. These protests have quickly transformed into riots opposing mass migration.

Farage differentiated between genuine protesters and those he termed as disruptive “bad actors,” expressing this distinction during a speech on Wednesday:

He criticized Westminster and the mainstream media for being “incredibly disconnected” from the public’s concerns, which he described as the “common sense centre of gravity” in the nation. According to Farage, this disconnect fuels unrest and will persist until the British government can restore hope and confidence among its citizens.

…there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that this man should not have been in this country. It is just as simple as that. He entered the country illegally and is it any surprise that people in Belfast and elsewhere are scared.

None of that justifies what was perpetrated by some bad actors last night. There’s no doubt about that, there were some very bad actors doing bad things. But the vast majority of those people who were out on the streets in Belfast last night were not far right, were not extremists, just really scared about what’s going on in their communities and about the lack of government action. There’s none.

Have you heard a single proposal for how any of this is going to change? In fact if we go back to the Novak case this week the Prime Minister is still in denial about two-tier policing in this country but yet you can see it written down on paper in the instructions that are given to police officers.

Westminster and the legacy media are “incredibly disconnected” from public sentiment on these matters, he said, which he characterised as the “common sense centre of gravity” of the country. The protests and riots happened because of this disconnect and the feeling that nothing is getting better, he said, and would likely continue to happen until a British government is capable of inspiring hope and confidence.

He continued:

…things will continue to kick off, and I’m very open about the fact some very bad actors get involved in this stuff, but not the vast majority. The vast majority are fearful. The vast majority want action, they actually want something done to make their streets safer, and nothing is being proposed. It wasn’t by the last government, it isn’t by this government.

I think the worry is over the course of the summer — and it seems that not even a week that goes by now where we don’t read of some horrific mass sexual assault, or something like that has been committed by someone who just shouldn’t be in Britain — the fear is this stuff gets worse. Unless you give people hope, this stuff will get worse.

As reported, Belfast experienced a second night of rioting on Wednesday night. Police deployed mobile water canon and hundreds of extra officers to clash with the public and said they would be on patrol again in “significant” numbers on Thursday evening.

Father of Austin Metcalf Refutes Racial Motive in Son’s Tragic Death

0

In a heartfelt response, the father of slain teenager Austin Metcalf has criticized those who suggested his son’s death was racially motivated, while also extending compassion towards his son’s assailant.

During an interview with CBS News, Jeff Metcalf reflected on the recent sentencing of Karmelo Anthony, 19, who received a 35-year prison term for the April 2025 murder of Metcalf, who was just 17 at the time.

This marks the first occasion the bereaved father has spoken publicly since the trial concluded. Metcalf expressed sympathy for Anthony and clarified that his son’s tragic death was unrelated to race.

In his discussion with the news outlet, he emphasized, “Consider the impact—not only between the Metcalf and Anthony families but also the broader implications.”

“Firstly, the children affected have to cope with this reality. Secondly, it’s escalated into a national debate, with some erroneously calling for a racial conflict,” he added.

‘This case was never about race. There’s going to be those people now, just, you know, try to throw shade on the whole trial with the jury makeup and the speed of it and that sort of thing.

‘I mean, those are the same people that said he was jumped by four people. He had, his phone was broken. You’re going to spin whatever story to try to keep yourself afloat.’

He added: ‘I’ll even say this: I had a little bit of sorrow because I’m human. And that poor boy is fixing to experience a life that I would not wish upon anyone.’

Metcalf added that he believes Anthony should have been handed a life sentence, and said that when he is up for parole in 17 years he will attend the hearing to argue against it.

‘If I’m still alive, yes, I will be there in person. If not, I am going to make a video. If I’m passed on, that can be played.’

Describing the feeling of his son’s killer being behind bars, he said: ‘When I woke up this morning, it was a very different feeling.

‘When I woke up, I felt like one million pounds had been lifted off my shoulders and this morning was the first day I woke up with a feeling of peace, comfort. Tranquility that I haven’t experienced in 14 months. And I felt. Awesome.’

He spoke with the outlet after a gag order imposed on him by a judge was formally lifted following the sentencing.

Anthony sobbed in court on Tuesday and his family burst into tears as the judge handed down the verdict, his mother begged the jury to show him mercy.

There was an audible gasp in the Texas courtroom when his 35-year sentence was handed down shortly after.

Following Anthony’s sentencing, victim impact statements were read aloud by members of Metcalf’s devastated family including his mother and father.

Metcalf’s mom, Meghan Metcalf said: ‘Seeing my loving son, his identical twin, lose the most important person in his life, it crushes you as a mother.

‘Austin was a hugger, and a good one at that. Austin always had a way of bringing people together. He was the peacemaker, the protector,’ she recalled.

‘There is a part of him you can never take away from me or anyone who loves Austin. What it meant to be loved by him. It’s the love that I can continue to have in my heart.

‘He was taken from us just as he was starting to really live,’ the slain teen’s mom said as she addressed Anthony directly.

‘You may have just been given a sentence of 35 years behind bars but you can consider yourself lucky because I’ve been sentenced to a lifetime without my son,’ she added.

Jeff, also delivered an impact statement on Tuesday evening.

He told the court how his family was ‘robbed’ of seeing Austin grow up, and expressed his grief that he couldn’t defend his son.

He went on to express the ‘unfiltered rage’ he has experienced since his son was murdered, saying Austin’s death ‘didn’t just break my heart’ but also destroyed his ‘sense of safety’ and ‘faith in people.’

The murder case shocked America, and the discussion surrounding the killing of a white teenager by a black peer quickly became racially fraught.

Metcalf was stabbed once in the chest. The knife pierced through his bone in the center of his chest and punctured the right side of his heart, a medical examiner testified.

Rebecca had her first miscarriage at 12 weeks back in 2022, and was told that she had a molar pregnancy – so this resulted in her having emergency surgery.

Rebecca said: 'We want to share that we are expecting a child. It has been an emotional and physical roller coaster navigating these past 19 months of trying, but this pregnancy has been a small miracle'

A molar pregnancy occurs when a lump of abnormal cells grows in the womb instead of a healthy foetus.

The following year she was told about her second miscarriage at her 20-week scan, and she had to give birth to her child – and she really struggled to look at herself afterwards because it looked like she was still expecting.

Speaking about her heartbreaking ordeal, Rebecca bravely told ITV viewers: ‘I was angry at my body, my body let me down, it didn’t give me that: “This is going wrong! Go get help!”

‘It didn’t tell me anything. I had no symptoms. That was really hard to get over, and afterwards as well, you still look pregnant.

‘That is very hard to deal with, the fact that you give birth, the baby isn’t alive, and then you go home, you have to look in the mirror as a woman and still look 20 weeks pregnant.

‘It’s incredibly hard. I hated my body, I fell out of love with my body, even though my human body delivered two healthy children, four Olympic gold medals and yet I just couldn’t understand why it had let me down now.

‘And the second time as well. It’s hard the second time around.’

During the interview, Andy gave the partner’s perspective, and he said: ‘well straight away my role was the supportive role, I was supporting Becky from the off, when it happened.

‘From there, all energy and thoughts are with Becky, its her body, her trauma, it’s her issue essentially with what’s happened.

‘So when I realised that my main focus, I took a step back at times, went to work, realised that I couldn’t process it properly myself, I was struggling a lot myself..

‘We had petals, who were really fundamental in being able to talk about it going forward. Petals is a baby loss charity, so we ended up having couple’s counselling, which really helped

‘One hour a week on focusing on talking about the loss of Harper, so that was key.

‘There’s not enough support for the men in this situation, with regards to, they’ve also lost a child as well, but the focus rightly so is on the lady, there needs to be a focus on the man as well.’

Emma asked what the initial signs were that he knew he wasn’t coping.

‘I just started a new job before we had the miscarriage, two days before Becky had to give birth to Harper, I felt compelled to go into the new job, show my face, show I was being professional. I was good at my role, and quickly realised that I was dreading the conversation of someone asking me how I was because I knew I would break down.

‘I think I lasted five minutes on my first day and then went home, got sent straight home by my boss at the time. He was really supportive.’

WHAT IS A MOLAR PREGNANCY?

A molar pregnancy occurs when a lump of abnormal cells grows in the womb instead of a healthy foetus.

A ‘complete mole’ is when there is no foetus, while a ‘partial’ occurs when a foetus starts to form but cannot develop into a baby.

Around one in 590 pregnancies in the UK, and one in 1,000 in the US, are molar.

Many women have no symptoms and are unaware they are having molar pregnancies until routine ultrasound scans.

Some may experience:

  • Vaginal bleeding or dark discharge
  • Severe morning sickness
  • An unusually swollen abdomen

Treatment often involves removing the abnormal cells via suction.

Medication may also be necessary.

Treatment may also be required to remove any leftover abnormal cells, which can turn cancerous.

Molar pregnancies do not affect women’s chances of conceiving in the future.

Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun Ignite Romance Rumors with PDA-Filled Knicks Date

Love and basketball took center stage as Sydney Sweeney and her boyfriend, Scooter Braun, were spotted sharing affectionate moments while cheering on the New York Knicks during their triumphant Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

In the early hours of Thursday, the “Euphoria” star delighted fans with a personal snapshot showing the music mogul planting a kiss on her cheek. The couple appeared blissfully wrapped in each other’s embrace.

“Best game ever :),” Sweeney captioned the heartfelt image, capturing the excitement of the evening.

The 28-year-old actress also posted a selfie alongside Braun, 44, capturing their vibrant energy as they witnessed the Knicks’ remarkable comeback from a 29-point deficit to clinch victory against the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night.

Sweeney, 28, also shared a selfie of herself with Braun, 44, as they watched the Knicks come back from down 29 points to defeat the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night.

“This was an emotional rollercoaster,” she wrote, referring to the Knicks’ historic win.

The investor also took to Instagram to share heart-racing moments from the home team win.

In Braun’s carousel roundup, he showed him celebrating with Sweeney and other fans in The Garden after the Knicks’ win.

“No words. Thank you. I love these Knicks!!!! Real ones knows [sic] what this means to us. One more!” he captioned the post.

The couple — who began dating in 2025 — sat a few rows behind Braun’s nemesis Taylor Swift.

The “Bad Blood” singer, 36, attended the game alongside her close friends Este and Alana Haim, rocking a blue shirt reading “Stevie Knicks.”

In an Instagram video posted by Page Six, Swift could be seen sitting courtside at the game while Braun and Sweeney were seated a few rows behind the singer. A barricade also separated the couple’s seats.

Braun and the pop star’s feud ignited in 2019 when the music mogul bought the rights to Swift’s first six albums — “Taylor Swift,” “Fearless,” “Speak Now,” “Red,” “1989” and “Reputation” — from her former record label, Big Machine Records, without her approval.

In a scathing Tumblr post at the time, the 14-time Grammy winner blasted Braun, saying her “musical legacy” would belong to “someone who tried to dismantle it.”

She also claimed she had suffered “incessant, manipulative bullying at his hands” for years through his former clients Justin Bieber and Kanye West.

Last month, Braun revisited their feud, claiming he didn’t know Swift.

“I don’t know Taylor Swift. I think I’ve met her in my life three times,” he said on the “Second Thought” podcast.

“I have never had a substantial conversation with her in my life … I will never truly understand that situation to this day. I wish her nothing but the best,” the businessman added.

In May 2025, Swift announced she bought back her masters from Shamrock Capital.
