A young special education teacher, aged 22, may face a lengthy prison sentence after being accused of having sexual relationships with her students and supplying alcohol to them at her residence.

Nadia Horn, who worked as a co-teacher for World Studies at Eau Claire North High School, appeared in Eau Claire County Court on Monday. She is being charged with felony child sexual assault.

As detailed in a criminal complaint accessed by WEAU-TV, the investigation was initiated on March 25 when the Eau Claire Area School District reported a “possible inappropriate relationship” to a School Resource Officer. The ensuing investigation uncovered a disturbing pattern of grooming and exploitation involving several 16-year-old students.

Investigators disclosed that Horn allegedly preyed on at least two students whom she claimed needed guidance. One of the victims informed law enforcement that Horn had purchased a cell phone for him to enable communication via Snapchat, where she purportedly shared “very revealing” images.

During police interviews, Horn allegedly admitted to having sexual intercourse with one victim three times at her Eau Claire apartment, stating, “I made a mistake.”

The victim reportedly told police that he and Horn did “everything sexual you can do with a person.”

She allegedly admitted to sexual encounters with a second 16-year-old student as well, telling investigators that the encounters “felt mutual” and she did not feel she was taking advantage of the minor.

Horn also allegedly admitted to bringing three teenage boys to her apartment in March because they “needed a ride.” Once there, she allegedly provided the minors with wine because “they asked,” according to the complaint.

Horn was charged with second degree sexual assault of a child under 16 and two counts each of child enticement and sexual assault of a child by school staff/volunteer.

If convicted on all counts, Horn faces a maximum of 40 years in prison and a $100,000 fine.

Following her Monday court appearance, a judge set a $15,000 cash bond, which Horn posted shortly after. She is scheduled to return to court for a hearing on May 20.

The hosts of The View found themselves the target of ridicule by the Fox & Friends team on Tuesday morning. This came in response to how they reacted to comments made by a young conservative influencer, who emphasized the significance of starting a family.

During the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) held in Grapevine, Texas, Isabel Brown, a 28-year-old influencer, addressed the crowd, urging them to encourage their children to embrace marriage and parenthood.

Brown suggested that young people should have “more kids than they can afford before they think they’re ready,” a statement that caught the attention of Whoopi Goldberg. She shared the clip with her co-hosts on the subsequent episode of the show.

Goldberg, known for her role in Ghost, responded with repeated exclamations of “What!” during Monday’s broadcast. Her colleagues, including Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, and guest Whitney Cummings, also voiced their disagreement.

Sunny Hostin expressed concern over Brown’s remarks, questioning whether this approach leads to children being born into poverty and lacking essential resources like food, education, and housing.

Haines proclaimed the mindset ‘wraps a woman’s worth up in her ovaries.’ 

The following day, Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade, Lawrence Jones, and Rachel Campos-Duffy offered their own takes – before welcoming Brown to the broadcast herself. 

‘You heard it from “The View” – only rich people can have kids!’ Campos-Duffy said sarcastically. ‘That is the most elitist thing I have ever heard.’

Navarro, the day before, told Brown: ‘Bottom line, if you’re not paying my bills, you don’t get to tell me what I do with my uterus.’

Brown, a Daily Wire host, joined Fox & Friends the following hour. She gave birth to her first child, a girl, last year.

“[That clip] was a very short two seconds of the greater conversation that we were having, clearly taken wildly out of context and with the intention to continue pushing the anti-family propaganda on the women of our generation that we saw spewed all over ‘The View’ yesterday,” she told Campos-Duffy, joining the broadcast remotely.

‘”Elitism” is the perfect word to describe just how out of touch these women are,’ Brown went on. ‘Most of them are married with children and worth millions upon millions of dollars, and they have the audacity to scream at you [while] wearing an $800 jacket.’

‘It’s always about choice for these people until that choice is the beauty and joy and the purpose of marriage and motherhood which, of course, we should be encouraging people to strive for,’ the pro-life activist added.

She equated having children to ‘the American dream.’

The hiring range for this position in Chicago, IL is $95,500 to $128,000 per year. Last week, an individual on Canada’s most-wanted list was apprehended in Mississippi, as confirmed by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Tuesday.

Adrian Vincent Walker, 28, ranked among the top 25 most-wanted international fugitives in Canada, stands accused of first-degree murder.

“Thanks to the courageous efforts of ICE agents, a major criminal from Canada is now in custody,” stated Acting DHS Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. “This person was sought for a murder in Canada and is currently facing charges for unauthorized entry into the U.S. and illegal firearm possession.”

Federal agents took Walker into custody on March 23 at a home in Tupelo.

Walker, once a fugitive from Canada after allegedly committing murder, was captured in Mississippi last week. The arrest comes as a significant development in international criminal law enforcement.

Walker was wanted by the Toronto Police Service (TPS) for a May 7, 2024, shooting in the city’s York District. 

The shooting claimed the life of 31-year-old Trevor Dalton John, according to Canadian authorities; a woman was also wounded but survived.

Another suspect, 20-year-old Kemyan Franklyn, was arrested days after the shooting and charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder. 

Following the incident, Walker was named a “most wanted person” by Toronto police. Walker had been hiding in Mississippi under an alias, federal prosecutors said.

Walker, who previously served over three years in a Canadian prison for aggravated assault, will face federal charges in the U.S. for illegal entry and illegal possession of a firearm before facing extradition for the murder and attempted murder charges in Canada.
