In a shocking turn of events, Puka Nacua, a wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams, faces accusations of biting a woman and making anti-Semitic remarks.

The alleged incident led the woman to seek a temporary restraining order, detailing her experience during a New Year’s Eve outing in Los Angeles’s Century City.

Court documents accessed by the Daily Mail reveal that Nacua is accused of making derogatory comments about Jewish people during dinner, which the woman found deeply offensive.

She described the remark as the initial act in what she claims was a series of increasingly inappropriate and aggressive behaviors by the NFL player.

Following the dinner, the woman alleges that Nacua, along with her and others, entered a Sprinter van, where he allegedly began acting inappropriately towards her.

Then, out of nowhere, Nacua ‘dropped his head into [her] girlfriend’s lap and crotch area and bit her thumb so forcefully that she screamed in acute pain’ before the wide receiver then turned to the alleged victim and bit her left shoulder.

The bite allegedly broke the woman’s skin and left a circular imprint of his teeth. A photo of this was included in the application for a temporary restraining order.

A day after the incident, the alleged victim contacted police and filed an incident report.

Before the woman filed the petition for a temporary restraining order on Tuesday, the two sides met at a mediation conference that was attended by both the woman and Nacua, both their attorneys and a crisis PR team.

In that meeting, Nacua’s attorney – Levi McCathern – allegedly ‘made unprivileged threats to contact TMZ and other press and media outlets and to disseminate false, inaccurate, and/or deliberately exaggerated public statements’ about the events on New Year’s Eve. 

According to court documents, the request for a temporary restraining order was denied until a follow-up hearing on April 14.

The Daily Mail has reached out to McCathern for comment on the matter.

McCathern released a statement, saying ‘A completely sober witness has stated unequivocally that Puka never made the comments [the alleged victim] claims.’

He added that the alleged victim ‘continued to spend time with our client [Nacua] after the alleged incident – conduct that directly contradicts the narrative now being advanced.’

McCathern also claims, ‘In the months that followed, our office was contacted with demands for millions of dollars in exchange for not publicizing these allegations. That is not a legitimate legal claim – it is blackmail.

This alleged incident took place just days after Nacua performed an offensive Jewish stereotype on a live stream at the behest of Adin Ross (L). Nacua later apologized.

‘The timing of the claimant’s recent legal action – nearly three months after the alleged incident and just says [sic] after [Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s] record breaking contract as a wide receiver – further underscores the complete lack of credibility behind these accusations.

He concluded, ‘Puka denies these allegations in the strongest possible terms. We will be filing a defamation lawsuit and pursuing all available legal remedies in response to these false and damaging statements.’ 

The timing of this alleged incident came just days after Nacua was embroiled in another anti-Semitic controversy with streamer Adin Ross – who tried to convince the receiver to celebrate a touchdown with Ross’ so-called ‘Jewish dance.’

The ‘dance’ was little more than the streamer rubbing his hands together – evoking a negative stereotype of Jewish people from a racist cartoon. 

Nacua was publicly criticized by the likes of Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy among others. 

The receiver then apologized, saying he had ‘no idea’ about the reference.

A tragic stabbing incident in a normally serene and upscale area of Northern California is sparking fresh worries about possible targeted violence. This comes after unsettling online posts emerged, seemingly mentioning the victim weeks before his untimely death.

Authorities responded to a call around 11:36 a.m. on Saturday at a residence on Westminster Place in Lafayette, as reported by the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office. Upon entering the home, officers discovered the lifeless body of 34-year-old Christopher Jaber.

According to KTVU, law enforcement sources revealed that the murder involved the use of a hatchet.

Soon after the grim discovery, 35-year-old David Prince from Chico was apprehended nearby. He has been arrested in connection with the homicide and is currently held at the Martinez Detention Facility, facing a murder charge with bail set at $1 million.

As investigators work to determine a motive, attention has turned to a series of cryptic Facebook posts linked to an account bearing the suspect’s name.

According to KTVU, one post from February referenced Jaber by name and included his Lafayette address alongside a message invoking “the chaos of the supernatural.” About a week before the killing, the same account escalated the language, writing: “Can someone please kill this man.”

Authorities have not confirmed whether Prince authored the posts or whether he knew the victim.

Still, neighbors told KTVU the messages, now circulating within the community, have fueled fears that the attack may have been deliberate.

“It seems like he was looking for him,” neighbor Christina Coleridge told the station, adding that she witnessed the suspect being taken into custody. She described him as handcuffed with plastic bags placed over his hands.

Legal experts say the posts, if tied to Prince, could play a key role in court. KTVU legal analyst Michael Cardoza said prosecutors could use them to argue premeditation, while defense attorneys may point to them as evidence of diminished mental capacity.

Jaber had previously been placed under a conservatorship, according to court records cited by KTVU. His family has declined to comment.

The killing has rattled Lafayette, part of the Lamorinda area, including Moraga and Orinda, a region known for its affluent communities. Home prices in the city typically range from about $1.8 million to $2 million, according to data from Zillow.

Homicides in Lafayette are exceedingly rare. Police records show no reported killings from 2013 through 2024, and none in 2025, underscoring the rarity of such violence in a community frequently ranked among the safest in the region.

The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office.

Da Brat, a close friend of Usher, has dismissed reports suggesting that Usher had a “heated exchange” with his former protégé, Justin Bieber, at an afterparty hosted by Jay-Z and Beyoncé following the Oscars.

Last week, sources close to Bieber claimed that Usher had approached the singer with what they described as “energy and anger” during the gathering at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. However, these sources emphasized that the confrontation did not escalate into a physical altercation.

On the other hand, some insiders have suggested that the encounter might have ended in a fistfight, leaving the true nature of the incident shrouded in mystery, according to a report by TMZ.

Usher, along with Scooter Braun, played a pivotal role in launching Bieber’s career when the young talent was just 13 and 14 years old. The duo signed Bieber to their label after successfully outbidding Justin Timberlake.

In the early days of their careers, both Bieber, now 32, and Usher, 47, were also mentored by the controversial rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is now 56.

Last May, Bieber firmly denied years of rumors he was molested by Diddy as a child, with a spokesperson saying he was ‘not among Sean Combs’ victims.’

As stories circulated about the supposed spat between Bieber and Usher at the Oscars afterparty, Da Brat insisted that she ‘spoke to Usher and he said this is an exaggeration of conversation,’ on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show.

The Daily Mail has contacted Usher and Bieber’s representatives for comment.

‘He’s been nothing but supportive of plenty of issues that Justin Bieber has had throughout the years, and y’all can actually check the records for all that. He has been,’ Da Brat shared on Smiley’s show.

‘Justin is on his own journey dealing with his own reality that he’s created. Usher wishes him nothing but the best and they have no hostility towards each other. They definitely love each other,’ she continued.

‘So people just take things out of context when they see something, and they run with it, and I’m just here to say that is not the issue. They are definitely cool with each other and they have love and they support each other.’

When speculation about the Oscars afterparty first exploded last week, a source accused Bieber of having always been impolite to Usher, amid claims the Baby singer wants to freeze out people from his past.

Among the star-studded guest list at Beyonce and Jay-Z’s bash were Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce as well as Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner.

Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan were in attendance, as were Jacob Elordi, Teyana Taylor, Vin Diesel, Sofia Vergara, Austin Butler, Emma Stone, Emma Watson, Jon Batiste, Chloe Bailey and Vanessa and Natalia Bryant.

Bieber’s wife Hailey, nee Baldwin, was also among the invitees, along with her longtime close friend and fellow supermodel Kendall Jenner.

None of the famous names who dropped by Beyonce and Jay-Z’s party has publicly discussed witnessing any spat unfold between Bieber and Usher.

‘I honor and recognize that my brother, you know, he – I think that it might’ve been the fact that he’s just wanting to tell a different story right now, and I understand that,’ Usher said during an interview on The Breakfast Club in 2024.

‘But we did have a brief conversation, and we’re gonna do something else in the future,’ the performer added. ‘No love lost or anything like that.’ 

Usher explained that he had also reached out to other artists, adding that Bieber was ‘gonna play the Super Bowl’ at some stage. ‘I’ll go ahead and give you that – in the future. I profess that over his life.

‘It’s time, because he has a career that deserves it. But it just didn’t happen, but that doesn’t mean it’s not going to.’

That same year, Usher discussed having waged ‘a bit of a bidding war between me and Justin Timberlake’ to sign Bieber. 

‘I was like, “I’m not certain that I could understand each and every producer that this artist could benefit from, but what I can tell you is I’m going to give you my passion, and I’m going to give you every bit of what I have to offer,”‘ Usher told People.

Braun meanwhile emerged as one of the top music managers in the business, with a client list including Bieber as well as Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato.

He announced his retirement from the profession in June 2024, one day after he and Bieber ended their business relationship.

Bieber and Braun’s bond disintegrated into an explosive financial feud that ended with a settlement last year, in which the pop act allegedly agreed to pay a $26 million in costs related to the cancellation of his Justice tour in 2022, sources told TMZ.

Under the terms of the deal, Bieber was also reportedly meant to pay half of the $11 million in unpaid commission Braun claimed to be owed.

Usher and Bieber’s history with Diddy fell under renewed scrutiny when the rap mogul faced a raft of sex crime allegations he strenuously denied.

After a highly publicized trial, Diddy was acquitted last July of the most serious charges against him, sex trafficking and racketeering, though he was found guilty on two lesser charges of transportation to engage in prostitution.

As the scandal swirled around him, an old video resurfaced of him and a 15-year-old Bieber in which they discussed spending ’48 hours’ together.

‘He’s having 48 hours with Diddy, where we hanging out and what we’re doing we can’t really disclose. But it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream,’ said Diddy.

Another unearthed video showed Diddy asking a then 16-year-old Bieber why he had not ‘been calling me and hanging out the way we used to hang out.’

An apparently anxious Bieber replied that Diddy had ‘tried to get in contact with me’ but ‘never got my number. I’m going to tell you my number.’ 

Fan concerns mounted for Bieber’s wellbeing in the wake of Diddy’s downfall, especially given the young singer’s hollow-eyed and disheveled appearance.

Meanwhile, when Usher was 15, his manager LA Reid sent him to Los Angeles to spend a year living with Diddy in what has been described as ‘Puffy Flavor Camp.’

‘It was pretty wild. It was crazy. There were very curious things taking place and I didn’t necessarily understand it,’ Usher said on The Howard Stern Show in 2016.

When he was then asked whether he would ever send his own children to ‘Puffy Flavor Camp,’ Usher categorically responded: ‘Hell no!’ 

EXCLUSIVE: In a revealing investigation, Fox News accompanied federal safety officials on a mission through North Florida, where they encountered alarming situations involving truck drivers unable to read road signs or converse in English.

Disturbing footage captured during the ride-along showed multiple truckers being removed from service due to safety violations. Some drivers struggled with basic English, hindering their ability to read road signs or communicate effectively.

In one notable interaction, a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) trooper questioned a truck driver about his proficiency in English, only to receive a response in Spanish.

When further prompted about his ability to speak English, the driver simply answered, “No.”

Troopers said that up to half of truckers at some Florida weigh stations cannot meet English proficiency requirements.

“I try to concentrate on the [signs] they have to read,” said FHP master trooper Craig Lents. “If you are going down the road at 70 miles per hour, and you see that sign, you only see it for a split second.”

In another encounter caught on video, a trooper asked a trucker what a road sign meant.

The trucker replied, “No.”

The trooper then asked what drivers should do if they saw the sign, to which the trucker replied, “No,” again.

Under the Trump administration, Department of Transportation (DOT) officials are ramping up enforcement of federal English requirements that have been on the books for years.

“It’s been the law for a long period of time,” said Derek Barrs, Federal Motor Carrier Safety administrator. “It’s a safety issue. … If there was a crash or something like that, I would want to make sure that driver would know how to respond — slow down for upcoming traffic or a crash that has happened up ahead.”

Authorities explained that being unable to speak or read English is extremely dangerous, as truckers are driving by important road signs at high speeds while carrying hundreds of tons.

The enforcement push comes after a string of deadly crashes nationwide involving drivers the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) claims were in the U.S. illegally or operating with commercial drivers’ licenses (CDLs) they should never have had.

In a Florida case, Harjinder Singh, an illegal immigrant from India, was charged in a tractor-trailer crash that left three people dead.

The tractor-trailer, driven by Singh, allegedly made an illegal U-turn on the Florida Turnpike through an “Official Use Only” access point in St. Lucie County, blocking all lanes of the highway and leading to the crash.

His brother, Harneet Singh, 25, also an illegal immigrant from India, was riding as a passenger at the time of the crash.

Harjinder Singh, who allegedly entered the U.S. illegally and obtained a CDL in California, is facing three counts of vehicular homicide, according to officials.

In an Oregon case, another illegal immigrant from India, Rajinder Kumar, allegedly jackknifed his tractor-trailer, blocking both lanes of U.S. Highway 20.

A Subaru Outback crashed into the truck, killing both the driver, William Micah Carter, and passenger, Jennifer Lynn Lower, according to DHS.

Kumar, who allegedly entered the U.S. illegally near Lukeville, Arizona, was issued a CDL in California, officials said. 

He is charged with criminally negligent homicide and reckless endangering.
