The bycyclist Russell Windsor has been declared deceased as a result of the collision. His other information is still pending publication.

According to police, the cyclist, Russell Windsor, “entered the traffic from the eastbound shoulder of the road, causing the incident to occur.”

Soon after 11 a.m., Mr. Windsor was hit by Mohammad Rahman who was driving a 2011 Toyota Sienna east. He “remained at the site and is fully helping with the inquiry,” according to a statement from the police.

There is currently no suspicion of criminal activity. The Amagansett Fire Department sent an ambulance to take Mr. Windsor to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, where he was later declared dead.

The report that a bicyclist had been murdered that morning after being hit by a car on the Napeague Stretch had been spreading since lunchtime, according to a police statement on Sunday evening.

On Montauk Highway in Amagansett, the collision occurred about 11:11 a.m., according to the police.

The Napeague segment of Montauk Highway was shut down for a while during the investigation but has now reopened, according to authorities.

Bystanders informed The Star on Sunday around 2 p.m. that they had been stuck in Montauk for “a few hours” as a result of the accident.

The town’s emergency response dispatchers had been taking calls from drivers worried about not being able to traverse the stretch between Amagansett and Montauk.

The road was still closed, according to a witness at the Lobster Roll restaurant who spoke to The Star just before 3 p.m.

The girl was overspeeding at about 160 km per hour when she tried to clip a Honda Civic and the Porsche went uncontrolled towards the toll booth. The Porsche crossed the road’s border and hit the concrete toll booth.

Nikki was found dead on the spot with her body torn into pieces. The photographs of the scenes were taken as a part of the investigation but the officers violated the CHP policy and the next day onwards the photos were everywhere on the Internet.

The Catsouras family was harassed mentally after people started to email their daughter’s disturbing photos to them and so they sued the CHP.

Nikki was the eldest daughter who was only 18 years old before being killed in the tragic accident.

She was a talented teenager who was in her freshman year in college. She was reported to have been subjected to drug addiction which took her life in a gruesome car accident.

Nikki’s father Christos Catsouras was a working man and her mother Lesli Catsouras remained at home in order to look after her daughters. She grew up with her two younger sisters.
