Well before earning her spotlight on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Leah Remini had already been contemplating a return to reality television.
“I would do it again,” Remini, 56, shared exclusively with Us in her June 2025 cover story. “But only if I could include my family and they could authentically be themselves on screen.”
Known for her hilarious role on King of Queens, Remini graced the dance floor in season 17 of Dancing With the Stars back in 2013. She later returned to the popular show as a guest cohost and judge. Remini, alongside her former husband Angelo Pagán, also starred in their own reality series, It’s All Relative, on TLC. The show, featuring their daughter Sofia—now 22—alongside other family members, aired from 2014 to 2015, and was both created and produced by Remini herself.
Beyond lighthearted reality TV, Remini took on more serious subject matter by hosting and executive producing the hard-hitting docuseries Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath on A&E from 2016 to 2019. As an outspoken former member of the Church of Scientology, she has emerged as one of the organization’s loudest critics.

Earlier this week, Bravo confirmed that Remini will appear on RHOBH season 16, which is currently filming. (The full cast has not been announced but is set to include Million Dollar Listing’s Tracy Tutor in her own Housewives debut.)
Despite being open-minded about a reality TV return, Remini explained to Us last year that she did have some hesitations.
“I haven’t pursued it [again] only because my family’s so great that I would hate to look like I’m selling my family,” she told Us. “But, you know, I have some projects in the works that I want to produce that I want my family in.”
According to Remini, fans frequently told her that they yearned for more episodes of It’s All Relative.

“There’s not one time I tweet something [about] my family show, like, of my mom, that people are [not] like, ‘Why are we not still on the air?’ My family’s so unique,” Remini said. “They’re like every family, and I think that’s what makes them unique. That’s why people love them because they see themselves. They’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, her mom’s just like my mom’ or ‘I have a crazy aunt like her mom.’ We were being our authentic selves, which you don’t see today at all in reality television.”
It’s not known how much of Remini’s personal life will be featured on RHOBH, though Housewives typically film scenes with their significant others, children, parents and siblings.

For Remini, she is very clear about signing on to projects that she wants.
“My career opportunities are basically my own. I don’t say what I want. I say what I don’t want. I don’t want to work just to work. I want to be on sets that are joyful, that you can make jokes and not have to talk to HR,” she stated in her cover story. “I want to talk to normal people. I want to be around people who are happy to be working on projects that are important but also funny. I want to do it all. When I was younger, I thought I had forever, and now I’m realizing that we’re not promised anything. And so I just kind of want to live my best life in the way that that is for Leah.”

Jelly Roll addressed the curiosity surrounding his political stance following his comedic remarks about President Donald Trump on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” earlier this week.
“Before this week, everyone assumed I was all-in with MAGA, and now they’re pegging me as some sort of liberal snowflake,” the 41-year-old musician remarked on Thursday as he hosted the ABC late-night show.
Recalling his expressed enthusiasm for the president’s UFC Freedom 250 event hosted at the White House last month, the Grammy winner commented, “Watching a fight on TV doesn’t equate to endorsing everything this administration stands for.”
Nevertheless, he clarified, “Being a guest host on Jimmy Kimmel’s program doesn’t align me entirely with Jimmy Kimmel’s political perspectives.”
Jason Bradley DeFord, better known as Jelly Roll, shared, “Sure, I lean left on certain topics, but like many, I strike a balance in the middle. I am a Christian, a country music artist, a farmer, a bow hunter, and I favor getting my food with a stick and a string.”
He continued, “Human dignity isn’t Republican nor Democrat. Compassion isn’t left-wing, and mercy isn’t right-wing. Pain and healing knows no partisanship. Hurting hearts are more important than poll numbers. And there are no boundaries or borders for broken families.”
Jelly Roll went on to share a “hot take” — that he doesn’t regret shaking the politician’s hand in November 2024 and, in fact, is “proud” of the moment.
“Out of respect for [my late friend who served the Marines] and everybody who has ever served and continues to serve this country, I will always shake the hand of the sitting president of the United States when asked,” he shared. “My father would have been disappointed had I done anything other than that.”
The “Save Me” hitmaker added, “I will shake the hand of any president that occupies that office because a handshake is not an endorsement. A conversation is not allegiance. And a joke is not a political point of view.”
“In my business, taking a picture with a political figure, or anybody else for that matter, doesn’t mean you agree or disagree with their policies or politics. More often than not, I f–king don’t.”
Jelly Roll celebrated being able to “make jokes about” Trump, referencing his Monday monologue, in which he dubbed the “Apprentice” alum a “fat pig.”
“Ain’t that what’s great about being an American?” he asked viewers. “The democracy, the freedom of speech.”
Jelly Roll, notably, made headlines in February when he was asked about ICE on the Grammys red carpet and called himself someone “disconnected” from politics.
“People shouldn’t care to hear my opinion,” he said at the awards show. “I’m a dumb redneck. I haven’t watched enough.”
During Wednesday’s monologue, Jelly Roll admitted he “had a microphone and I didn’t use it the right way” at the time.
His most recent comments were an attempt to “try and do the right thing.”

At 41, Prince Harry is believed to have taken the initiative to directly contact the Home Secretary. His inquiry seeks to confirm if he, along with Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, who is 45, and their children, Prince Archie, aged seven, and Princess Lilibet, aged five, will be granted police protection once they relocate to Britain. This request was reported by the Daily Telegraph and highlights the family’s concerns over their welfare in their homeland.
The intervention comes after a formal risk assessment was completed by the Royal and VIP Executive Committee’s risk management board at the end of July, but before its findings had been communicated to Harry.
The assessment was completed before Harry confirmed his family intended to move back to Britain, a change expected to require Ravec to reconsider the circumstances surrounding his protection.
When marathon enthusiast Jamie Shinneman prepares for his extensive runs, his routine includes devouring a carb-rich breakfast, lacing up his shoes, and embarking with a companion most runners don’t typically have — his very own teammate.
In the streets of Noblesville, Indiana, the 53-year-old conquers training runs that stretch up to 20 miles by pushing his wife, Amy Shinneman, in a three-wheeled racing chair, lovingly referred to as their “duo bike.”
Jamie embodies the power, while Amy provides direction. As part of their “Duo Team,” this pair of high school sweethearts has proudly crossed the finish lines of four marathons since 2019. This accomplishment is significant for any runner, but it holds a special weight for Amy, who has never had the opportunity to run independently.
“My duo partner helps me to glimpse beyond the limits I sometimes place on myself,” Amy shared. “And I think that’s a valuable lesson.”
Amy’s life has been shaped by a neuromuscular condition, which in 2018 was formally identified as Bethlem myopathy. This rare type of muscular dystrophy brings about increasing muscle weakness and impacts her mobility.
Today, at 52, Amy mostly uses a wheelchair to get around. But on the marathon course, that wheelchair has become a path to freedom.
“She’s seeing parts of the world she’s never seen before on a trail,” Jamie said. “It just filled me, inspired me to keep pushing and just be with her more and more.”
As a duo, Amy and Jamie Shinneman have crossed the finish line of four marathons since 2019.

Amy said she was initially reluctant to Jamie’s suggestion of putting a pause on his solo running career in 2019 to race as a pair instead, an idea inspired by a race wheelchair they saw at the Boston Marathon Expo that year.
Jamie was eight years into his running journey at the time and was fast enough to qualify for the prestigious Boston Marathon not just once, but twice.
“Being honest, in the beginning, I really had no interest. I always felt like everywhere I went, I was on display because of the way that I walk. And so my like, first just gut reaction was, ‘no way, no thank you. I’ll enjoy cheering you on, on the sidelines.’ That was the role that I only ever knew how to do,” Amy said.
For Amy, being a spectator was familiar. Being an athlete — and having people cheer for her — was something she never imagined for herself.
“So I think that was kind of part of it too,” she said. “Just even, wrapping my brain around that I could be someone that other people are cheering on at a sporting event.”
Now, the cheers only get louder for the Shinnemans at each race, as they chase their dream of conquering all eight Abbott World Marathon Majors, the premier series of marathon races.
They’ve already completed Berlin, Boston, Chicago and New York. Next up is the 2026 Sydney Marathon on Aug. 30, leaving three more — London, Tokyo and Cape Town — to meet their goal. The reward, they say, will be much more than the medals.
“I’ve been through a lot of ups and downs and doubt because of my disability. But now I’m kind of transforming that … self-doubt into self-belief,” Amy said. “Each finish line we cross, the more confident I become that I am going to be able to get through this life, living well and still doing exciting things.”
The Shinnemans hope their story can help other people with disabilities see what’s possible for themselves, too. That mission helped inspire the name of their team and nonprofit, Team Humbly Courageous.
“The goal of Humbly Courageous is to help encourage people to live life with humble courage,” Jamie said. “They might see a husband and wife Duo Team working together like this and achieving goals that maybe they didn’t think that they could do together.”
To honor their fifth World Marathon Major in Sydney, the duo has set a goal of raising $26,000 for their nonprofit. Ten percent will be donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, while the remainder will be used to purchase a racing wheelchair for a Duo Team that otherwise couldn’t afford one.
What started as a joint adventure has become something much greater than 26.2 miles — a journey defined not by pace or personal bests, but by purpose.
“I hope, and Amy hopes, to inspire other people to use their God-given gifts, get out there — just help encourage each other,” Jamie said. “Be humbly courageous to do something maybe you didn’t think that you could do.”
In an exciting underwater discovery, divers exploring the depths off a Greek island have stumbled upon a shipwreck dating back approximately 2,400 years. The ancient vessel was laden with hundreds of amphorae, shedding light on maritime history.
The intriguing find was revealed this summer, with Greece’s Ministry of Culture proudly making the announcement.
According to the Ministry’s translated press release, the wreck off the coast of Andros in Greece’s Cyclades archipelago was brought to light by a tip from a private individual.
The submerged relic was discovered at a depth ranging from 128 to 144 feet, where the ship’s cargo, consisting of hundreds of “pointed-bottom commercial amphorae,” lay preserved.
Preliminary counts by officials suggest that the number of these ancient storage jars is impressively between 600 and 650.

Amphorae, or ceramic storage jars, were widely used in the ancient world to transport goods ranging from wine and olive oil to grain and other foodstuffs.

Tropical Storm Karina has garnered significant attention as it is now anticipated to escalate into a major hurricane. Recent forecasting models indicate that this powerful system could be on a potentially destructive trajectory towards California.
According to the latest updates from the National Hurricane Center (NHC), Karina currently exhibits sustained winds surpassing 50 mph. Expectations are set for this storm to progress into hurricane status by as early as Friday evening.
Forecasters predict that by Sunday morning, Karina will intensify into a formidable Category 3 hurricane, characterized by winds exceeding 111 mph, which could pose significant dangers.
Utilizing new spaghetti models that map out potential paths of tropical systems, analysts suggest several scenarios that might lead Karina to make landfall along the California Coast, potentially affecting millions.
Early data from the American forecasting model, known as GFS, has outlined scenarios for an unprecedented landfall in major cities such as San Diego or Los Angeles, raising concerns for residents in these areas.
The so-called European model, also known as the EPS Ensemble, was more skeptical of a US landfall on Thursday, predicting that Karina would stay away from the California Coast and move out to sea.
However, both prediction models were updated on Friday, with both now showing potential paths to Southern California and points further north.
A hurricane has never made landfall in California in recorded history, according to the National Weather Service, and the last time a tropical storm directly impacted the state was in 1997.

Forecasts predict Karina will reach hurricane status by Friday night
A tropical storm has not taken such a path, from the Pacific Ocean straight into the California Coast, in nearly a century, when the Long Beach Tropical Storm landed in 1939.
It is important to note that forecast models can shift dramatically once storms form and get closer to making landfall. The farther into the future a forecast model tries to predict, the weaker the certainty of it being correct gets.
Spaghetti models, which show a large sampling of weather predictions, also reveal a great amount of uncertainty about a hurricane when they show paths going in several different directions – which is the current case with Karina.
The more tightly clustered the spaghetti models are, the more confident meteorologists are in the route of a storm.
Tropical Storm Karina is currently less than 1,400 miles south from San Diego and is moving northwest at 13 mph far offshore from the coast of Mexico.
Three years ago, Hurricane Hilary impacted Southern California, but weather officials later determined that the storm was no longer a named cyclone when it made landfall.
The last time the state was struck by an actual tropical storm was in 1997 when a weakening Hurricane Nora crossed from Mexico into the US still at tropical storm strength.
In 2026, AccuWeather’s lead long range forecaster Paul Pastelok has warned that the stage is set for a historic storm to reach California, thanks to the emergence of the weather phenomenon El Niño.

The European forecasting model, which predicted on Thursday that Karina would avoid the US, was updated to reveal a possible path towards the US West Coast
El Niño is a natural weather phenomenon that simply means that the Pacific Ocean has become noticeably warmer than its historical average.
However, this warming flips global weather patterns, causing storms to become more potent and capable of lasting longer in the Pacific, while weakening in the Atlantic.
AccuWeather meteorologists have predicted that this year’s El Niño will likely be the strongest in recorded history, with sea-surface temperatures in the Pacific rising by 4.8°F (2.66°C).
This would count as a ‘Super’ El Niño, meaning Pacific temperatures have risen by more than 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit (2.0 degrees Celsius).
Pastelok told the Daily Mail in June: ‘There could be some insane flooding that could take place, not only just in the summer, but it could even be out of season as well into the wintertime.’
‘You gotta watch the combination of the monsoon and marine heatwave. A marine heatwave that’s near the Baja, with El Niño combined, you’ve got three things working to possibly produce some unusual type of wet weather in Southern California, Phoenix, Tucson, in that area there.’

A dramatic video has emerged showcasing the aftermath of flash flooding along the border between Nepal and China, where mudslides engulfed several buildings as residents hurried to safety in Gyirong, Tibet, a town close to China’s border with Nepal.
The destructive mudslides followed closely on the heels of a 4.4-magnitude earthquake. Just seven minutes after this seismic event, videos captured the frantic escape of people from the disaster’s path, as reported by the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ).
Nepal’s foreign minister, Shishir Khanal, addressed the nation’s parliament and highlighted the significant role earthquakes could play in such natural disasters, according to a Reuters report.
Authorities suspect that the earthquake triggered an ice-rock avalanche, which subsequently surged into the Lhende Khola River in Nepal, contributing to the destructive floods, as noted by Reuters.

At least 95 people have been confirmed dead after rescue authorities in Nepal recovered at least that many bodies.
Nepal’s tourism authority said at least 484 tourists have also been reported missing, at least three of whom are U.S. citizens.
Reports claim as many as several dozen more Americans are missing. No official count of Americans was immediately released by the U.S. government.
The U.S. State Department said it was monitoring the situation closely and communicating with authorities in Nepal.
“The Trump administration has no higher priority than the safety and security of Americans,” a State Department spokesperson told News Media in a statement.
“The State Department is aware of Americans impacted by the floods in Nepal and is closely tracking the situation. The embassy is working closely with local tour agencies and local authorities to assist Americans in the affected areas. We extend our deepest condolences for the victims and to the families of all those affected.
“We strongly encourage U.S. citizens in the affected areas to monitor local news, follow the emergency instructions provided by local authorities, and enroll in STEP.state.gov to receive important emergency information,” the spokesperson added.

The State Department’s office of Consular Affairs also relayed travel advisories for specific areas within Nepal.
“The flood destroyed buildings and damaged roads, bridges, electricity infrastructure, and communications. Nepali authorities ordered people living along riverbanks and in low-lying areas to move to safer locations,” the department posted on X.
“Avoid travel on the Prithvi Highway, the Galchhi–Nuwakot–Rasuwa–Syafrubesi road, and the Mugling–Narayangadh road until authorities lift restrictions. If you are in Rasuwagadhi, Timure, Syafrubesi, Langtang, or another affected area, contact the U.S. Embassy when safe to do so and provide your name, location, and status,” the advisory said.

China deployed 574 rescuers to Tibet’s Gyirong land crossing, though one rescuer told CCTV it would take hours to reach the deluged site, Reuters reported.
India’s government and the European Union (EU) have publicly offered support to Nepal and China.
“Spoke to Prime Minister Balendra Shah and conveyed condolences on the loss of lives due to the floods in Nepal. The people of India stand in solidarity with their sisters and brothers in Nepal at this difficult time. India is ready to provide all possible humanitarian assistance to Nepal. Our teams are coordinating closely on rescue and relief efforts,” Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote in a post on X.
Shah responded on X, calling Modi’s gesture “a reflection of the enduring bonds of friendship between our two countries, which we profoundly value.”

JACK INNANEN: It was hard to pretend that I didn’t know them all. That was really tricky on camera. It made me sad. But it was cool to see, in doing it in reverse, how we met, and then to contextualize everything else.
MALIK ELASSAL: I was being rude to you because I didn’t know Paul Baker. I went method.
INNANEN: He was being mean. He was being a monster off-set for the whole season.

After Billie’s elaborate journey to get her problematic Facebook post removed, the premiere features some real-life footage of all of your internet pasts. What was it like selecting those and seeing how far you’ve come?
AMITA RAO: You know, there was a short-lived attempt of only private YouTube videos where I tried to be a vlogger and just seeing how far I’ve come, and kind of what I was into at the time — tribal print, biking — like that was a journey.
LUCY FREYER: Your raw, unedited YouTube videos — she has them. The full things. Like 35 minutes. And she’s like, “Hi guys!” And then she’ll like reset, and she’ll be like, “Hi guys.” And it’s like that for like 30 seconds.
RAO: It was like me trying to nail that classic 2010s YouTube intro.
FREYER: Wait, what was it? “Sorry to disturb you!” She wanted that to be a catchphrase. [Laughs]
RAO: “Sorry to disturb you!” Yeah, so I cut out the dis. And it was just, “Sorry to sturb you!” [Laughs]
Owen, it was shocking to see Anton’s more immature alter ego around his family. What was it like playing that hilarious change opposite your pal Raven-Symoné?
OWEN THIELE: Well, she’s become my pal, but she’s a role model to me. She’s my icon, and I’m obsessed with her. So to work with her was a dream come true. I remember when Jack and I were at the diner, and we were opposite Raven-Symoné; there was a moment where I was like, “Wait, cut! I’m with Raven-Symoné here, this is crazy!” It was really fun. Also, the flip where Anton is so nice to everyone except his family is so relatable to me, not that I’m mean to my family; I love my family. But I can get a little snippy. So it’s fun to pull from.

When you host your In Your Dreams podcast, you have this incredible wall of pop culture icons behind you, including Raven-Symoné. Who from that wall are we manifesting on Adults next?
THIELE: Raven-Symoné smack in the middle! Oh my god, any of them are welcome to come. Whoever wants to come can come. I would love a Sabrina Carpenter cameo; I’d love a Hilary Duff cameo. That would be amazing. Honestly, I think what I’m really manifesting is that we go again and that Raven comes back.
FREYER: She’s established in the world now. She’s a staple.
RAO: If Hilary Duff came, we could all have our own little cartoons with her.
INNANEN: Oh, I would like that.
THIELE: That is cute.
Issa can do some singing with Hilary. Maybe she can be Billie’s cousin, or another one of Paul Baker’s friends who he doesn’t know is that famous.
THIELE: Yeah. Why not? Why not, FX?! Take a crazy chance!
FREYER: Why not do a crazy dance?
You also have a hardcore fan in Taylor Swift, no big deal. Does she have an open invite, too?
RAO: No, no, not her. She has to audition.
THIELE: Yeah, she has to go through the whole process. I want callbacks.And I want chemistry reads. No, obviously Taylor Swift can do whatever she wants! I’m obsessed with her. She’s such a special human being.
ELASSAL: She could play Samir.
RAO: She can play my mom.
THIELE: She can genuinely be Anton. She can play whatever she wants.

Aside from Raven-Symoné, Season 2 has such a stacked guest star lineup. Who were your favorites to act opposite?
INNANEN: The bros [Liam Cullagh, Will Sennett, and Joey Dardano] were really fun. And that was the first thing we shot. And it was weird, especially playing Paul Baker in full bro. I had to remember who he was for a second. But that was really fun.
RAO: I really had fun improvising opposite Zosia Mamet. She’s such an incredible improviser, and because we pay so much homage to Girls, it just felt really [special].
FREYER: I was going to say Zosia, too. Ben Marshall was fun. He was really funny. He had some great improvs, too.
ELASSAL: Gaten Matarazzo. He was just so awesome to be around. Just a little professional.
Oh my god, amazing. Between Issa and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, I feel like there’s never been a more iconic time to freeze your eggs.
RAO: Thank you. I know, isn’t that just awesome timing?
Do you think that Issa would have been inspired by AOC’s viral journey? And we finally got some quality Samir and Issa scenes. How fun was it for you two to play that incredible physical comedy?
RAO: Well first of all, I think Issa would have known in her heart of hearts that AOC did it because of her. [Laughs] And then playing off Malik, I mean, we just had so much fun.
ELASSAL: It was awesome. It was a lot of you screaming at me and attacking me
RAO: Which was kind of our callback audition, too. I got to insult Malik a lot.
ELASSAL: We got to do a full chase scene, which is great.
RAO: And he had to make me fall and flip me over and stuff. We had so much fun. We love physical shit.
ELASSAL: We were like stressing the stunt people out, because we were like, “No. Don’t even put the pads down. We want to feel it.” We were rallying to get a no-mat fall backwards, and they were like, “No.”
INNANEN: They had a stunt guy, and they didn’t use him, right?
ELASSAL: Yeah, there was one day where there was just a guy walking around in my outfit, and I was like, “Why do I think I know this guy?”

In the finale, Paul Baker campaigns for Homeowners Association President. Jack, I’m curious, was that just practice for another White Boy of the Month campaign? Are you running again? Is there anything you would like to say to the people, the early voters?
INNANEN: Thank you so much for asking. Of course, I think this is an opportune time to say I’m running for White Boy of the Year. Not just the month. I’m trying to go for the whole year. Because we’re close to September, I’m going to go September to September. I’m really excited for the school year, for all the kids out there who want to vote — like university kids. Not children. Cut this. [Laughs] Yeah, White Boy of the Year. Super confident.
RAO: I’m also running for White Boy of the Year. I’m gonna release a couple videos soon. September to September. I’m actually gonna do four years to go for presidency. White Boy Of The Nation.
ELASSAL: I’m gonna throw my hat in the ring also. People are debating if I’m white on Twitter now.
