Armed only with your smartphone, you can harness the power of Invideo AI to transform simple lines of text into custom videos. But that’s not all; alongside this novel business idea, you’ll also learn the art of creating trending YouTube videos effortlessly. Join me as we explore the gold mine of opportunities in this video.

## Unveiling Tik Tok Automation

Curious about what TikTok automation entails? Let me share my discovery. While casually scrolling through TikTok, I stumbled upon an account that specializes in uploading spiritual videos. At first glance, it may seem ordinary, but trust me, there’s more than meets the eye. This account, in my confident estimation, consistently rakes in hundreds of dollars. How is this possible? The answers will unfold as we progress in this video. First, let’s delve into Invideo AI, the tool that will drive this business and streamline the video creation process.

## Invideo AI: Your Creative Ally

So, what exactly is Invideo AI? Picture this – create a YouTube short narrating the incredible journey of space exploration. Make it epic, using a deep Australian male voiceover. In 1957, our cosmic sojourn began with the Soviet satellite Sputnik breaching our atmosphere. Invideo AI functions similarly, turning your ideas into visually stunning videos with just a simple prompt. But hold on, there’s more to it. Add subtitles, tweak the music volume, or switch the voiceover to a British female voice – all with a few words. The possibilities are astounding, and we’ve only scratched the surface. Stay tuned, as I’ll guide you through starting a TikTok automation business using this powerful tool.

### Getting Started with Invideo AI

To access Invideo AI, follow the link in the description. Create a free account, and you’ll land on a user-friendly dashboard. The central element is a text box where you input prompts. For a basic start, you can type something like “Create a 2-minute video about cats,” and Invideo AI takes care of script planning, voiceover, and video creation.

However, for professional-quality videos, a more detailed prompt is key. As you continue watching, I’ll share my prompt formula for optimal results. In the dropdown menu, select a workflow – YouTube Shorts, YouTube Explainer, recent events video, or script to video. Each requires specific information, essential for understanding the Tik Tok automation business we’ll explore later.

## Crafting Engaging Videos: A Step-by-Step Guide

Let’s consider creating a YouTube explainer, an excellent choice for a faceless YouTube channel. Specify the video duration (e.g., 10 minutes) and provide detailed information about the video. For instance, create a video about “Nine Crazy Facts About Cats.” Be creative in defining the overall look – start with a captivating fact, ensure humor, engagement, and dynamism, and end with a question for audience interaction.

Customization continues with background music and voiceover settings. Select the music type, gender, and accent for the voiceover. Subtitles are optional but add a layer of engagement. After hitting ‘Continue,’ the magic begins as Invideo AI transforms your detailed prompt into a video. Want to customize further? Invideo AI allows you to tweak various elements, from audience selection to the video’s look and feel.

### Editing Made Easy

Not satisfied with a specific part? Invideo AI simplifies edits. Use the text box underneath the video to request changes or click ‘Edit’ for more comprehensive options. You can modify media, script, or even export to the timeline for detailed edits and full customization (currently in the alpha stage).

## Elevate Your Videos: Paid Plans and Advanced Features

While Invideo AI offers a free option, upgrading to a paid plan (starting at $20 a month) unlocks a range of features crucial for serious video creation and the TikTok automation business. Unlimited exports, high-resolution videos, and access to premium footage – these elements enhance the quality of your content.

## Viral Content Creation: Recent Events Video Workflow

Invideo AI’s recent events video workflow adds another layer to your content creation arsenal. Use an article link as a reference, and within minutes, you have a trending video. Explore the world of artificial intelligence or any niche that aligns with trending topics.

## The TikTok Automation Business Model

Now, the big question – how does the TikTok account, seemingly simple yet monetarily successful, operate? The answer lies in affiliate product promotion. By examining the account’s bio, we find links to popular ClickBank products like Soulmate Sketch and Wealth DNA Code. With multiple accounts in the same niche, they consistently promote these products in their videos, some of which have garnered millions of views. The simplicity of the videos is the key, but I’ll show you how to leverage Invideo AI for even better results.

### Getting Started with TikTok Automation

Starting your TikTok automation business is a step-by-step process. Begin by selecting an affiliate product – platforms like ClickBank or Digistore offer diverse options. Create a TikTok account, and the real fun begins – content creation. Brainstorm video ideas, and here are three methods to help you:

1. **Chat GPT Ideation**: Use Chat GPT to generate video ideas for your niche. For example, if it suggests “Dog Health Tips,” copy the idea and head to Invideo AI.

2. **Article Inspiration**: Find articles related to your niche. Copy the link, go to Invideo AI, select the YouTube shorts workflow, and use the article as a reference.

3. **Prompt Formula**: Embrace a detailed prompt formula for optimal results. Specify the duration, platform, topic, voiceover and script style, background music, and any additional information. For instance:

– **Prompt Formula Example:**
“`
Create a 3-minute YouTube video about the history of space exploration. The video should feature a deep male voiceover with an Australian accent, speaking informatively and engagingly. The script should be storytelling, making complex information easy to understand, covering key milestones from early rocketry to recent Mars missions. Choose inspiring and cinematic background music, and encourage viewers to subscribe for more educational content.
“`

## Conclusion: Unleash Your Creative Potential

As we conclude today’s video, the possibilities are limitless. With Invideo AI at your fingertips, you can unlock creative avenues, whether for TikTok automation or building a YouTube presence. The prompt formula shared empowers you to craft engaging content tailored to your audience. To embark on this journey, click the link and sign up for a free Invideo AI account. Blake Lively Pens Compelling Letter Highlighting Her Significant Influence

Before engaging in a prolonged legal disagreement with Justin Baldoni, Blake Lively made an earnest appeal to the Producers Guild of America, seeking recognition for her contributions as a producer.

In an extensive email sent on January 25, 2024, which the Daily Mail obtained, Lively implored the guild to consider her behind-the-scenes efforts on “It Ends With Us.” In her heartfelt message, she emphasized that this work was more significant to her than anything else she had accomplished in her two-decade career in the industry. This email played a crucial role in the decision that many of her claims against Baldoni were not actionable.

“Just recently, I was officially acknowledged as a Producer, following a year and a half of persistent effort to validate my role,” she shared in the detailed five-page correspondence. Lively elaborated on her involvement, stating, “I have been integral to every phase of this film’s journey, from pre-production through post-production, and now into global marketing and release.”

Expressing her gratitude, Lively highlighted that her contract had been updated to accurately reflect the extensive work she had contributed. She humbly requested the guild to bestow upon her the “great honor” of receiving the PGA designation, signifying her dedication and commitment to the project.

Lively noted that she was “grateful” her contract was “revised to reflect the immense work that I put in” and asked the guild for the “great honor” of receiving a PGA tag.

She added that in her household — which includes husband Ryan Reynolds — the PGA tag is “the highest honor in film.”

Lively also confessed that she was aware of the “gravity” of her request, that it had been late in getting to the guild, and that it was “absurd” of her to ask. However, she explained, “Without the official title of Producer, [her] hands” had previously been tied in the matter.

Lively went on to note that she had the support of peers who had gained PGA tags, and proceeded to list 77 bullet points in support of her request.

The admittedly “dense” list included a claim that she “rewrote the script to improve the role of Jennie Bloom after 3 actresses turned in down,” that she “called in favors with fashion contacts” to get clothing “loaned, discounted, or gifted” to lower production costs, and that she “identified and onboarded freelance team members for the cast members.”

Lively seemingly did obtain the PGA tag for the film, some but fans are said to have pushed back and called for it to be rescinded with an online petition.

Reps for Lively and Baldoni did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment on Saturday.

The letter resurfaced amid Lively’s ongoing case against Baldoni, the movie’s director. Judge Lewis Liman quoted from the letter in a judgement throwing out 10 of Lively’s 13 claims against Baldoni on Thursday.

The New York City judge said that “not only did [Lively] reserve substantial contractual control over her participation in the film, but she exercised that control” and cited bullet points from her letter to the DGA.

She could not be considered an employee of Baldoni or Wayfarer Studios, which backed the film, and was instead an “independent contractor,” — a distinction which, according to the judge, disallowed her from continuing with her sexual harassment claims against Baldoni.

The claims of retaliation, aiding and abetting in retaliation and breach of contract, have been allowed to proceed. A trial is set for May 18.

Following the devastating ruling, Lively’s legal team indicated she “looks forward to testifying at trial and continuing to shine a light on this vicious form of online retaliation so that it becomes easier to detect and fight.”

Baldoni’s team, meanwhile, noted in a statement to Page Six, “These were very serious allegations, and we are grateful to the Court for its careful review of the facts, law and voluminous evidence that was provided.”

Lawyers for the “It Ends With Us” co-stars are expected to call in to US Magistrate Judge Sarah Cave on Monday to divulge “their client’s updated settlement position” in separate meetings.

The “Simple Favor” actress, 38, sued the Wayfarer Studios co-founder in December 2024 after initially filing a complaint against him earlier that month.

She claimed the Wayfarer Studios co-founder owed her monetary damages of at least $161 million over what she labelled a smear campaign as the movie was being promoted.

Baldoni vehemently denied the actress’s claims and lashed out with a $400 million countersuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds — though a judge tossed Baldoni’s lawsuit on June 25.

The co-stars met in a Manhattan court on February 11, an effort Baldoni’s lead attorney, Bryan Freedman, called “unsuccessful” in comments to Deadline.

Lively poured out her heart to fans over Thursday’s developments via Facebook Stories on Friday, calling them “unfathomably painful” and saying it’s “a privilege to be able to stand up” that she won’t “waste.”

Deontay Wilder’s Epic Triumph Over Derek Chisora: Unveiling the Fight of the Century and What’s Next for These Boxing Titans

0

The bout of the year? No, it transcended even that. It was the fight of the decade? Not quite. This was truly the Fight of the Century.

In the history of boxing, seldom has a match electrified audiences with such relentless intensity. It was a display of sheer power, with each punch echoing the fighters’ incredible fortitude and resilience. The courage both boxers showed under this barrage will be remembered for months to come, as they embark on a long road to recovery—if they ever fully do.

Deontay Wilder found himself in the ring, having accepted the challenge to engage in this brutal dance of near-death. Wilder, known as The Bronze Bomber, wasn’t just stepping into another match; he was marking his 50th fight with a test of endurance and grit that rivaled anything he had faced before.

In this unforgettable showdown, both fighters pushed the limits of what was believed possible, offering a spectacle that will be etched in the annals of boxing history.

The Bronze Bomber accepted, as a pal does, and had to mark his 50th fight by going through almost as much hell himself.

Rarely, if ever, in fact, has boxing roared to a prizefight of such relentless action, so many punches of so much devastating power

How did Del ‘Warboy’ survive countless thunderbolts from the American who reigned for six years as world heavyweight champion, being the heaviest puncher since Mike Tyson? Since both men are devout Christians, let’s call it a miracle.

They kept swinging away when they looked out on their feet. They were both knocked to the floor time after time. In Chisora’s case, twice through the ropes as he took counts.

A split decision against him seems about right, even though Wilder landed more of the blows, which would have levelled a dozen other opponents on this remarkable night. So many were the topplings that the official scorers got in a muddle as to how many.

Given the two judgments in his favour – 115-111, 115-113 against 115-112 for Chisora – Wilder has swerved his own retirement, encouraged not only by the victory but by his own bravery in such a testing fight.

Chisora leaves the stage as a cult figure in prizefighting, forever remembered for this epic night in the company of the best made.

With friends like these, who needs enemies?

Chisora, ever the jolly optimist, had predicted ‘the O2 will be buzzing this Saturday.’

As it turned out, the huge hot-air balloon on the south bank was not that close to being full for his expected swansong.

Anthony Joshua, despite appearing to be in semi-retirement, showed up to the O2

In truth, it was never going to be, with one end of the arena closed off. But there was a lively rustling in the bushes on the shore of the Thames.

If it was to be the end of one of boxing’s rock-and-roll careers, London was not going to let him go without a party.

The mood of celebration was boosted as customers at other attractions encircling the dome were tempted to join the fun by a late drop in ticket prices.

Why not? This was more an occasion than a fight for the marbles. That and a private joust to resolve which of the two amigos is the better man.

Anthony Joshua, despite appearing to be in semi-retirement, showed up. When he and Wilder crossed paths accidentally in a corridor as AJ was finding his way to ringside, the American slugger ignored him. Deliberately, it seemed.

It would be a more complicated route back to another title shot for either of them. Given that Oleksandr Usyk, Tyson Fury, Fabio Wardley and Daniel Dubois are but four of the present or former world champions currently locked into finding who is the true ruler of the heavyweight kingdom.

TOTAL: Chisora 113 Wilder 117

Chisora the brawler versus Wilder the slugger was one for the cognoscenti and the I-was-there brigade to enjoy for its own sake. Chisora made his entry into the ring, as forever with his face masked by a Union Flag, to a boisterous welcome.

However, he was wobbled by puncher Wilder’s first right. Heavier blows followed before the Bomber was cautioned for using his height to almost lean Chisora out of the ring. Wilder met the next charge with a barrage of huge punches which would have finished a less resilient foe. But reeling though he was the only time he went down was from a slip.

Chisora’s best hope was to prolong the fight. To do that he had to survive some more bombs in the third. But he then whaled away with some massive blows to win his first round of the contest in the fourth.

Chisora went down again in the fifth, but this time Wilder was warned for shoving him over. Chisora exacted his own revenge with some more bludgeoning rights, before slipping over in the effort.

This was turning into a crowd pleaser if ever there was one. More clubbing blows came from Wilder in the sixth. And he just about edged the seventh.

One huge right came from Chisora in the eighth. After more brawling, Wilder was deducted a point from what should have been a 10-8 round in his favour.

In the ninth, Chisora found Wilder’s chin with a left hook. But in the tenth, Chisora was hunched in a corner while Wilder lined up a number of blows.

In the 11th, Chisora went through the ropes for another count in this phenomenal battle, but from somewhere dropped Wilder with a bazooka of his own.

The final round was a proper brawl, a fitting climax to an astonishing fight.

Prince Harry Captured in Ski Selfie with Eileen Gu and Justin Trudeau

During a recent getaway to the ski slopes, Prince Harry snapped a memorable selfie featuring Olympic skier Eileen Gu and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

In the vibrant photo shared on Eileen Gu’s Instagram on April 4, the 22-year-old athlete beams alongside the 41-year-old British royal and the 54-year-old political figure, all seated on a ski lift. The image was part of an engaging Instagram carousel.

Another image from the series captures Gu with Trudeau and his girlfriend, Katy Perry, posing outside a quaint cabin. Though the exact location remains a mystery, Gu simply captioned her collection of photos with “this week.”

Prince Harry has been enjoying some family time on the slopes recently. On Thursday, April 4, his wife, Meghan Markle, shared a delightful moment of Harry skiing with their 6-year-old son, Prince Archie. The couple also has a daughter, Princess Lilibet, who is 4.

The video clip showed Harry expertly guiding Archie down the snowy slopes, with the young prince impressively keeping pace.

“My boys,” Markle, 44, captioned the video. “Quick learner, Archie! So proud ❤️.”

Harry is a lifelong skier, having frequently gone on trips to icy locales with his late mother, Princess Diana, as a child.

Meanwhile, three-time Olympic gold medalist Gu recently returned from the 2026 Winter Games in Milan and Cortina, Italy, where she took home gold once again in the halfpipe event.

(Gu also won two silver medals for the big air and slopestyle competitions in Milan and Cortina. She was born and raised in the U.S. but chooses to compete for China in international competitions to honor her heritage.)

Eileen Gu Claps Back at Reporter Asking If Silver Medals Are Disappointment

Freestyle skier Eileen Gu is a five-time Olympic medalist, making her the most decorated athlete at her sport in the history of the games. That means she doesn’t have time for reporters to belittle her accomplishments. After earning a silver medal in the women’s freeski slopestyle on Monday, February 16, she met with the media, […]

Following her huge success at the 2026 Winter Games, Gu celebrated becoming the most accomplished freestyle skater in Olympics history.

“I’m the most decorated freeskier of all time, male or female,” she told reporters on February 22. “I have the most gold medals ever, male or female. That’s a testament to competitive strength, it’s mental strength. It’s being able to perform under pressure, it has nothing to [do with] if you’re a boy or a girl.”

This year’s Winter Games came at a tumultuous time for the skier. Gu announced at an Olympics press conference in Milan and Cortina that her grandmother, Feng Guozhen, died shortly after the freestyle event.

“She was a really big part of my life growing up, and someone I looked up to immensely. She was a fighter,” Gu explained. “And I think what’s so interesting is that a lot of people just cruise through life, but she was a steamship. This woman commanded life, and she grabbed it by the reins, and she made it into what she wanted it to be. And she inspired me so much.”

Gu revealed that she’d made her grandmother a special promise the last time they saw each other.

Olympic Skier Eileen Gu Reveals Heartbreaking Family News After Winning 2nd Straight Gold Medal

China’s Eileen Gu is sharing an update on her personal life after winning her second straight freeski halfpipe gold medal at the 2026 Olympics. “The reason I was late is that I just found out that my grandma passed away,” Gu, 22, said during a press conference on Sunday, February 22, while becoming emotional. “She […]

“The last time I saw her before I came to the Olympics, she was very sick, so I knew that this was a possibility,” she said. “I didn’t promise her that I was going to win, but I did promise her that I was going to be brave, like she has been brave, and that’s why I keep referring to this theme of betting on myself and being brave and taking risks. It actually goes back to that promise that I made my grandma.”

Gu added, “I’m really happy that I was able to uphold that and hopefully do her proud, but it’s also a really difficult time for me now.”

The Olympian subsequently shared a carousel of photos of herself with her late grandmother via Instagram, writing, “Because I promised her I would be brave like her. I love you grandma.”

UFC Star Faces Backlash: Controversial Fan Interaction Sparks Outrage

0

UFC fighter Sean Strickland has sparked controversy after seemingly encouraging a young female fan to make an ‘inappropriate’ gesture during a photo opportunity. This incident has added another layer of notoriety to Strickland, who is already known as one of the sport’s more contentious figures.

The encounter took place at a UFC event on April 2, where Strickland was interacting with fans. A young admirer approached him for a photograph, and as they stood side by side, Strickland wrapped his arm around her and raised his middle finger for the camera.

A viral video on social media captures the moment where Strickland suggested that the fan mimic his gesture. Looking puzzled, the fan declined, but Strickland persisted, raising both middle fingers in an apparent attempt to coax her into following suit.

As the pictures were being taken, Strickland put his arm round the fan and put up a middle finger, before looking at her and suggesting she should copy his pose.

The young, female fan appeared confused by Strickland’s request and refused to do it, before the UFC star doubled down and put both of his middle fingers up in an attempt to persuade the fan.

Despite his best efforts, the fan refused to do it and, instead, held up a ‘peace’ sign with her hand, while Strickland put his middle finger down and his hand in his pocket.

It didn’t take long for the video to go viral on social media, with many fans calling out the ‘weird’ and ‘inappropriate’ behavior from the UFC middleweight star.

‘Proud of this young person, way to stand on your principles,’ one user wrote on X.

‘It was one thing to ask once but he was like insisting on it,’ another said on the platform.

‘Trying to teach a little girl to give the middle finger? Strickland, that’s a bit outrageous… Luckily she didn’t listen to you, the peace sign is perfect!’ one wrote.

Another said: ‘I love how the little girl didn’t oblige. She stood for what she believes in. She has been raised well.’

‘Inappropriate. With that said, he doesn’t understand this because of his upbringing. Just because he was raised by animals doesn’t mean this child was,’ another said.

Back in February, Strickland once again ignited fury with a misogynistic and homophobic rant at a press conference in the build-up to one of his UFC fights.

The 35-year-old went on an unprompted rant about the NFL and Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show at Super Bowl LX, refusing to mention the rapper’s name.

‘Look at the NFL, dude. I don’t even want to say the f****t’s name because it’s just like, what, somebody give me his name,’ he said, calling out to reporters.

‘Come say his name, I don’t want to say it. You know what I’m talking about, the halftime show guy. The Puerto Rican, right? Puerto Rican.’

When someone eventually replied with Bad Bunny’s name, Strickland continued.

‘Yeah, that f***ing f****t. It’s so crazy that this is America now. Like, back in the day dude, the NFL was the f***ing standard of being a f***ing man.

And now every f***ing year, the NFL, I think they all get together around a table and say, ‘You know what, guys? How do we f***ing ruin this sport? How do we gay it up? How do we f***ing ruin it?

‘Well, I’ll tell you what. Why don’t we bring a gay foreigner who doesn’t speak f***ing English and have him perform it?’

He was promptly ripped on social media by former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III. Sharing a clip of Strickland getting punched on the chin, he wrote: ‘Sean Strickland got hit so hard by a foreigner that he forgot Puerto Ricans are US citizens.

‘Not to mention that this misogynistic cry baby would get tossed like salad if he ever stepped foot on a football field in the NFL. Worry about not getting knocked out in your next fight.’

Trump Issues Ultimatum to Iran: Open Strait of Hormuz in 48 Hours Amid Search for Missing US Pilot

Video Above: Trump discusses de-escalation of Middle East conflict

In Tel Aviv, Israel, tensions are flaring as U.S. President Donald Trump issued a stern warning to Iran, urging the nation to reopen the pivotal Strait of Hormuz by his designated deadline on Monday. Tehran, however, has dismissed Trump’s ultimatum as “unbalanced and foolish,” amid ongoing efforts to locate a missing U.S. military pilot in a remote area of Iran.

President Trump has characterized Iran as “beaten and completely decimated” in the ongoing conflict, which has now endured for six weeks. However, the recent downing of two U.S. aircraft on Friday and Iran’s call to capture the “enemy pilot” have heightened tensions once again.

Iran’s Gen. Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi, representing the country’s joint military command, issued a stark warning late Saturday, as reported by state media. “The doors of hell will be opened to you” if Iran’s infrastructure comes under attack, he cautioned, further threatening all U.S. military facilities in the region.

The conflict erupted on February 28 with coordinated strikes by the U.S. and Israel. Since then, it has claimed thousands of lives, disrupted global markets, obstructed critical shipping lanes, and driven up fuel prices. Both parties have targeted civilian sites, prompting warnings of potential war crimes from international observers.

“We will continue to crush them,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, and confirmed that Israel’s military struck a petrochemical complex in Mahshahr that he said helps to fund the war. Five people were killed and 170 injured, Iranian state media reported, citing a provincial security official.

The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said that an airstrike hit near its Bushehr nuclear facility, killing a security guard and damaging a support building. The head of Russia’s state nuclear corporation, Rosatom, said that 198 workers were being evacuated. It was the fourth time the facility was targeted.

Hopes for talks

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Tahir Andrabi, told The Associated Press that his government’s efforts to broker a ceasefire are “right on track” after Islamabad last week said that it would soon host talks between the U.S. and Iran.

Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, said that Iranian officials “have never refused to go to Islamabad.”

Mediators from Pakistan, Turkey and Egypt were working to bring the U.S. and Iran to the negotiating table, according to two regional officials.

The proposed compromise includes a cessation of hostilities to allow a diplomatic settlement, according to a regional official involved in the efforts and a Gulf diplomat briefed on the matter. They spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss closed-door diplomacy.

Trump reminded Iran of his deadline in a social media post: “Remember when I gave Iran ten days to MAKE A DEAL or OPEN UP THE HORMUZ STRAIT. Time is running out — 48 hours before all Hell will reign down on them.”

A missing US pilot

The U.S. warplane, identified by Iran as a F-15E Strike Eagle, was one of two attacked on Friday. Iran’s joint military command on Saturday said that it also struck two U.S. Black Hawk helicopters, but the AP couldn’t independently verify that.

The search for the U.S. pilot focused on a mountainous region in Iran’s southwestern province of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad. An anchor on a channel affiliated with Iranian state television urged residents to hand over any “enemy pilot” to police.

In an email from the Pentagon, obtained by the AP, the military said that it received notification of “an aircraft being shot down” in the Middle East. A U.S. crew member was rescued. The Pentagon notified the U.S. House Armed Services Committee that the status of a second service member wasn’t known.

Trump told NBC News that what happened wouldn’t affect negotiations with Iran.

A second U.S. Air Force combat aircraft went down in the Middle East on Friday, according to a U.S. official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive military situation. It wasn’t clear if the aircraft crashed or was shot down, or whether Iran was involved.

Iranian state media said a U.S. A-10 attack aircraft crashed in the Persian Gulf after being struck by Iran’s defense forces.

Oracle’s Dubai headquarters struck

The Dubai offices of tech company Oracle was hit after Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard threatened the firm. Footage verified by the AP outside the UAE showed a large hole in the building’s southwestern corner.

The sheikhdom’s Dubai Media Office, which speaks for its government, noted a “minor incident caused by debris from an aerial interception that fell on the facade,” saying there were no injuries. Oracle Corp., based in Texas, didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

The Bab el-Mandeb Strait

Iran’s parliamentary speaker, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, issued a veiled threat late Friday to disrupt traffic through a second strategic waterway in the region, the Bab el-Mandeb.

The strait, 32 kilometers (20 miles) wide, links the Red Sea with the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean. More than a tenth of seaborne global oil and a quarter of container ships pass through it.

“Which countries and companies account for the highest transit volumes through the strait?” Qalibaf wrote.

More than 1,900 people have been killed in Iran since the war began.

In Gulf Arab states and the occupied West Bank, more than two dozen people have died, while 19 have been reported dead in Israel and 13 U.S. service members have been killed. In Lebanon, more than 1,400 people have been killed and there have been more than 1 million displaced people. Ten Israeli soldiers have died there.

Unveiled: The Surprising Truth Behind Government Spending Habits

0
A shocking report is blowing the lid on where government funding, meant for vulnerable Queensland children, is really being spent.

Queenslanders are seeing a hefty price tag attached to the care of vulnerable children, with the bill climbing to millions annually. The troubling details were unveiled in a report by KPMG, commissioned by the Child Safety Inquiry, which highlighted the lack of proper oversight and regulation among some care providers in the state.

Over the past ten years, expenditure on residential care has surged from $200 million to a staggering $1.1 billion. Without significant reforms, projections indicate this figure could skyrocket to an alarming $7 billion by 2030.

Adding to the concern, it has been discovered that certain CEOs of these care organizations are drawing exorbitant salaries, ranging from $400,000 to $679,000 annually. This revelation underscores the urgent need for regulatory reform to ensure that funds are directed towards improving the welfare of the over 2,300 vulnerable children relying on these services in Queensland.

Without reform that’s expected to balloon even further, to $7 billion by 2030.

Some company CEOs were found to be paying themselves excessive salaries, some between $400,000 to $679,000 a year.

In one instance, a top executive took home 21 per cent of the overall revenue, with all the money coming from the government.

Instead of funding vital care for children, the report found one provider spent $340,000 on luxury items including $242,000 on gold, $100,000 on cryptocurrency and two Mercedes Benz cars.

“It’s just beggars belief how that can happen,” child protection reformist Hetty Johnston told 9News.

“What we want now is action. What we don’t want now is just to wait for another set of inquiry, recommendations to come down and then wait for the government to respond.”

What’s shocking is that 68 per cent of operators are unlicenced and one of those organisations received nearly $34 million in funding last financial year.

These findings will now play a vital role in the final two weeks of the Child Safety Commission of Inquiry , starting on Tuesday.

Recommendations will be handed down on May 22.

Discover Why ‘XO, Kitty’ Star Sang Heon Lee Celebrates Min Ho’s Transformative Journey in Season 3

In the third season of XO, Kitty, the characters stand on the threshold of adulthood. As they approach their senior year at KISS, Kitty (Anna Cathcart), Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee), Yuri (Gia Kim), and their friends grapple with the challenges of charting their future paths.

This season unfolds with Kitty and Min Ho finally clarifying their feelings and embarking on a romantic relationship, much to the delight of fans. Meanwhile, Min Ho navigates the complexities of managing Eunice’s burgeoning music career and seeks to carve out his own niche in the music industry, distinct from his father’s shadow.

**Warning: Major spoilers for XO, Kitty Season 3 ahead!**

However, when Eunice decides to step away from her music career, Min Ho faces a turning point, pondering his next steps. Although Kitty’s decision to enroll at NYU initially presents a challenge, it also ignites a drive within Min Ho to pursue his own ambitions. His journey of self-discovery may surprise viewers.

“I would say he finally found his way of deciding what he really wants,” Lee shared in a recent interview with DECIDER. “He finally trusts his heart and sort of leads with it. … I’m very proud of him.”

It’s a delight to see Kitty and Min Ho finally be together after two long seasons. Though they hit some bumps on the way, they come out on the other side even stronger when Min Ho offers to join Kitty on her adventure, this time – back home to Portland.

Lee said this move was “needed” in their relationship. “You have to consider that Kitty flew from another country and is just mostly trying to adapt and survive in Korea where she’s surrounded by different cultures,” he pointed out, adding that she is “very welcoming” of the culture shock. “Eventually, hopefully, if there’s another season, Min Ho gets to see what Kitty’s life was and sort of have a deeper understanding without actually hearing it from Kitty herself. And hopefully that sort of deeper connection sort of connects them both in a romantic way.”

Decider chatted with Lee about Min Ho’s future with Kitty, working with Lana Condor, and playing a heartthrob in Jenny Han’s universe.

DECIDER: I would love to start off by hearing about what you thought of Min Ho’s arc this season, both in terms of his relationship with Kitty and also in this career that he’s built for himself.

SANG HEON LEE: Well, I would say he finally found his way of deciding what he really wants instead of dwelling on things or trying to figure out what’s right and what’s wrong. He finally trusts his heart and sort of leads with it. I could see the passion and hopefully others characters saw that as well and sort of understand that he has this as well, that he is this sort of person. Well, at least I see him that way. So I’m very proud of him.

We didn’t see as much of his father this season, but we saw quite a bit of their relationship and how much it’s changed. What did you think of his relationship with his father?

I don’t necessarily think that he feels like he needs to keep this good relationship with his father. It seemed like he now sort of realizes, ‘My dad, he could be quite harsh sometimes.’ But there are some points where he realized, ‘I need to put my foot down. You know what? At this point, my friends come first. My lovers come first. My people actually, who care about me, and I care about them, they come first.’ It’s not like he doesn’t give a shit. It’s more like he just has priorities with people now. And so I wouldn’t necessarily say that the relationship got better or worse. It’s just the way how it is. But I would say he has a better threshold. […] I could sense that he got stronger from Season 1.

I loved seeing the scenes that you shared with Lana [Condor] as well. Could you talk a little bit about what it was like getting to work with her? Did you expect to work with her or have a shared scene with her at all?

No, I did. I think she was really cool, to be honest. That’s how I felt on the day. I mean, she’s talented, she’s professional. She brought the energy on set. I was happy to see Ana and Lana be like real sisters on set. It was a touching moment, really. It was just a nice thing to see.

What did you think of the season finale? We get to see Min Ho’s on his way to go see Kitty’s world for a change. What did you think of that?

I think it’s sort of needed. You have to consider that Kitty flew from another country and is just mostly trying to adapt and survive in Korea where she’s surrounded by different cultures. She’s very welcoming. However, there are some challenges or there are things that she does not understand. Min Ho, obviously, is very confident and he just feels more settled. […] He hasn’t been in someone else’s life, in someone else’s shoes or someone else’s hometown. Eventually, hopefully, if there’s another season, Min Ho gets to see what Kitty’s life was and sort of have a deeper understanding without actually hearing it from Kitty herself. And hopefully that sort of deeper connection sort of connects them both in a romantic way.

Do you have any hopes for the next season? Maybe any hopes for Kitty and Min Ho’s relationship, or what Min Ho might do?

I’ll be honest. I sort of do. I just want my character to graduate. You know, it just feels more like a bow on a box, you know, like, Min Ho’s finally graduated. Yay. It just feels more right. I do wonder how, from the Season 3 finale, I want to see what Season 4 can start like. I’m very much curious on how it will become. […] It would be nice if everyone just graduates. We could see Kitty graduate. We could see the whole like, an era of her spending time in Korea sort of ending.

We saw you work with Noah Centineo in previous seasons, and you kind of had big shoes to fill as like the next love interest in the Jenny Han universe. I’d love to hear about your perspective of playing like a male love interest, especially on this show and especially for such a big series, if you have any thoughts on that.

Not particularly. Well, okay, I can’t say that I didn’t see any of that. I will see people saying the whole like MoonCovey thing. Personally for me, I get very defensive when […] it comes to anything good. Like there’s good news coming in or someone complimenting my work. I’ll be like, okay, thanks. I guess it’s nothing. […] It’s very endearing and I just very, you know, I really appreciate how people see it that way. But again, as a cast, though, there is a lot of us, every if you see closely, everyone’s having that sort of love drama relationship going through. So I wouldn’t say I’m, or Min Ho is the only spotlight there. There’s plenty of other people out there. But again, it’s very touching.

At least 13 individuals were injured when a vehicle plowed into a crowd at the Louisiana Lao New Year Festival on Saturday, according to local authorities.

In a statement, the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed they are investigating the incident where a vehicle hit several pedestrians during the festival’s parade.

“A number of people have sustained injuries, and some of these injuries are believed to be serious,” the sheriff’s office reported.

Acadian Ambulance announced on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, that they had transported 11 patients via ground ambulance and two patients by air.

Authorities stated that the driver involved is now in custody. This unfortunate event took place during celebrations marking the Buddhist New Year at the Louisiana Lao New Year Festival.

Officials said the incident does not appear to be an intentional act based on a preliminary investigation.

“Sharon and I are praying for all those affected, and are grateful for the first responders who have responded to the scene,” Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry said in a post on X.

Dodgers’ Roki Sasaki Unveils Mysterious Third Pitch Without a Name

0

WASHINGTON –– There’s a new pitch on the horizon that has yet to be christened with a name.

This innovative technique is still seeking its identity.

Since the onset of this year’s spring training, Roki Sasaki has been honing a new third pitch to enhance his fastball and splitter combination. This addition is pivotal for the Dodgers’ rising star, even though its characteristics are still being perfected.

The pitch exhibits qualities of a breaking ball, showcasing right-to-left movement paired with a sharp vertical drop.

Simultaneously, it’s an off-speed pitch, reaching speeds in the upper 80s mph, creating a stark contrast to his blazing fastball that often touches the upper 90s.

When Sasaki debuted it in regular-season play for the first time last week, MLB’s Statcast system originally tagged it as a cutter.

But upon a check Saturday afternoon –– ahead of Sasaki’s next outing Sunday against the Nationals –– it’d been reclassified as a slider on the league’s official stats page.

“I think the name will change depending on how much it breaks,” Sasaki said in Japanese this spring. “Personally, I just want to be able to throw it comfortably without it affecting my current pitching motion.”

To that end, the Dodgers have given Sasaki mental cues, instructing him to think like he’s throwing a cutter even if the pitch has more slider-esque movement.

That doesn’t mean, however, people around the team have settled on exactly what to call it.

Sometimes it’s a slider. Sometimes it’s a cutter. And sometimes, it’s an unintentionally-NSFW mash-up of both. (Not a slurve, but…)

“I’m not sure,” manager Dave Roberts laughed when asked what the team’s official term for it is.

“We haven’t seen it enough to know how we’re gonna treat it,” echoed catcher Dalton Rushing.

“Honestly,” pitching coach Mark Prior added, “it depends on the day.”

Alas, Sasaki’s new pitch doesn’t need a specific name –– just as long as it serves a specific purpose.

The right-hander could’ve benefited from a more consistent third alternative last year, when his fastball velocity was down, his splitter command was wild, and he stumbled to a 4.72 ERA in eight rookie-season starts.

Some of that, of course, was due to a shoulder injury that eventually landed the 24-year-old on the injured list. When he returned for the playoffs in the bullpen, his primary two weapons were enough to navigate a relief role.

But now, Sasaki is back in the rotation despite a disastrous spring training, and again battling command issues in his continued transition to the majors.

Enter the new third pitch, which proved surprisingly effective in his first start of the campaign.

“It was a big step forward,” said Rushing, who was behind the plate for the four-plus-inning, one-run performance against the Cleveland Guardians last Monday.

In that outing, Sasaki still lacked much control. His fastball was over the plate on less than half of 38 throws. Only one of his 18 splitters wouldn’t have been a called ball. And if not for an overly-aggressive Cleveland offense, he almost certainly would’ve finished with more than two walks.

However, the cutter/slider/whatever helped give him balance. It clipped the zone 13 of the 22 times Sasaki used it. It also got four whiffs on 12 swings, only really getting squared up once when Steven Kwan hit a center-cut mistake for a double.

“He’s still gonna be meat-and-potatoes with four-seam and split,” Prior said. “But (the third pitch) has honestly been a pretty decent pitch for him, even in spring training  … He seems to have a good idea of where it’s going. He can throw it to get back into counts.”

That latter point is the most crucial one.

Whereas last year, Sasaki toyed around with a big-breaking sweeper that averaged almost a foot of horizontal break, his new pitch is more of a “gyro” or “bullet” slider, spiraling out of his hand almost like a quarterback throws a football.

It has less break, moving only a couple inches to his glove side. It has little spin, similar to his fork-ball splitter that practically knuckles to the plate. Yet, it appears to be easier to locate, giving him a more deceptive option with which to challenge hitters.

“The more he throws it in the zone,” Rushing said, “it makes his fastball much better.”

Last year, Sasaki and the Dodgers learned what happened when opposing hitters could sit on his fastball. Thanks in part to its flat shape, opponents slugged .500 against it.

The return of Sasaki’s velocity should help with that. Better command will also make his heater a more potent pitch.

But for now, the new third offering at least gives him something different –– even if it still lacks a designated name.

“We’ll see what the game ultimately tells us as we get more sample size, if there needs to be an adjustment in how we use it,” Prior said. “But right now, whether it’s (because it’s) limited on the opposing team’s radar, or actually comes out of the hand where it effectively gives him some separation and goes the other direction, it’s serving its purpose.”
