Woman Accused of Drugging Casino Acquaintance to Steal Nearly $100K Rolex, Police Say

A 32-year-old Florida woman is accused of drugging a man she had just met at a casino before allegedly stealing his Rolex watch, valued at nearly $100,000, from his home after taking a rideshare there with him.

Lynda Mae Crouse faces one count of second-degree grand theft over the missing Rolex. However, court documents say investigators believe she may have carried out similar thefts on several other occasions.

The alleged victim told authorities he started feeling “funny” and became overwhelmingly tired while Crouse was at his residence. He also heard what sounded like clapping coming from the living room, according to the affidavit. When he went back into the room, investigators said, Crouse appeared to be acting differently and told him she planned to leave for home.

“The victim was becoming increasingly tired and confused and fell asleep within minutes of the defendant leaving his residence,” the affidavit states. He said he woke up several hours later still feeling unusual and suspected he had been drugged. When he checked the Rolex box he had left in the living room, the watch was gone. He gave detectives a signed appraisal placing its value at $98,400.

The man told investigators he believed the clapping noise he heard before Crouse departed may have been the Rolex box lid snapping shut. The missing item was described as a gold 40 mm Rolex Presidential featuring diamonds around the entire bezel.

Although the victim did not seek medical attention or testing to confirm whether he had been drugged, he submitted a sworn statement saying he had not fully recovered from the unexplained sensation more than 24 hours later.

Authorities said the victim later picked Crouse out of a six-person photo lineup. It was not immediately known whether she had been taken into custody.

Detectives also uncovered four active cases in Miami-Dade County that they said followed a strikingly similar pattern. In those incidents, according to the affidavit, men wearing high-value watches allegedly met the woman at bars or nightclubs, went with her to a residence or hotel, and later awoke feeling as though they had been drugged before discovering their watches were missing.

In one of those cases, toxicology testing detected zolpidem in the victim’s system, the affidavit says. Zolpidem is a prescription sleep medication that can cause sedation, confusion and memory problems, especially when mixed with alcohol.

Investigators said those effects were similar to what the Hallandale Beach victim described.

“The defendant appears to have intentionally given the victim a similar substance as the one found in the City of Miami’s investigation, and when the victim woke up, the defendant and his watch were gone,” police wrote. “The defendant knowingly and intentionally obtained the victim’s property and did so with the intent to permanently deprive the victim of his right to his property and to appropriate it for the defendant’s own use.”

The affidavit references prior investigations by Aventura police, Miami Beach police and the city of Miami as part of the alleged pattern.

Justin Bieber contrasted his wife’s look in a blue puffer vest, baggy shorts, white socks, and black Drew House slippers.

Justin completed his outfit with a blue-and-green Angels baseball cap, going shirtless to reveal his heavily tattooed arms.

Hailey accessorized her blazer ensemble with coordinating pointed-toe heels and slim brown-framed sunglasses.

She accessorized with a small, camel-colored, leather purse and round, gold, coin-like earrings.

Bieber’s lustrous brown locks were arranged in a deep, precise center part and slicked back into a chignon.

Her face was aglow in dewey makeup that included a flush of soft pink blush and a moisturizing mauve color on her pout.

Lovebirds Hailey and Justin, who tied the knot in 2018, are awaiting the birth of their first child.

They sent fans and friends alike into a frenzy as they announced their baby news on social media in May.

Sharing footage from their vow renewal in Hawaii, they debuted Hailey’s baby bump.

Matthew Stafford’s Wife Kelly Reacts to Sydney Sweeney Betting Ad

0

Kelly Stafford, who has spent years raising four daughters amid the overlapping worlds of professional sports, fame and social media, used the latest Sydney Sweeney controversy as a parenting lesson. The wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback and reigning NFL MVP Matthew Stafford shared her perspective this week as debate continued over Sweeney’s revealing campaign for sports prediction and trading app Novig, which shows the “Euphoria” actress nude with sports equipment strategically covering her body.

On Monday, Stafford, 37, made her position clear by reposting a video from influencer Daniel Hong to her Instagram Story. Alongside the clip, she wrote an emphatic endorsement: “THIS THIS THIS THIS.”

Hong, who is raising two daughters, used an image from Sweeney’s ad campaign to discuss what he sees as an important message for young girls: being noticed is not the same as having worth.

“Appearance can get you attention: likes, comments, followers, money, opportunities,” Hong said. “All of that is very real. What I want them to understand is that attention and value are not the same thing.”

The sentiment clearly struck a chord with Stafford, who shares four daughters with the Rams star. She has often spoken openly about motherhood and family life on social media and on her “The Morning After” podcast, which is currently on hiatus.

Novig’s Sydney Sweeney campaign has also fueled a wider conversation about the sexualization of women in sports, drawing criticism from several well-known female athletes.

Australian Olympic swimming gold medalist Ariarne Titmus described the imagery as “a kick in the face to every woman who has dedicated her life to perfecting her craft,” while questioning why women’s bodies are still so often used as a way to market sports-related content.

Paralympian Beatriz Hatz delivered an even more pointed response, saying women “deserve to compete at the peak of our ability and be seen as athletes.”

Former UCLA gymnast Gracie Kramer also entered the discussion, posting video of herself competing and writing, “Idk what Sydney Sweeney was doing, but this is what a woman in sports looks like.”

Sweeney did not directly respond to the backlash. However, she appeared to address the larger debate by posting photos of athletes who had previously posed nude for ESPN The Magazine’s well-known Body Issue.

The debate is ultimately larger than one advertisement. For Stafford, it appears to have hit especially close to home.

With four daughters growing up in a world where attention can be converted into currency with a swipe of a screen, Hong’s message was the one she chose to amplify: popularity can have a price tag, but it shouldn’t determine a girl’s value.

Mass. Government Calls for Mandatory Postpartum Nurse Home Visits

0

Massachusetts Democratic Governor Maura Healey is pushing to broaden a program that would offer nurse home visits to every new mother in the state, following the closely watched murder trial of Lindsay Clancy.

Clancy, 36, admitted to killing her three children by strangling them with exercise bands. Her defense argued that she had been overmedicated while experiencing postpartum depression and that the combination of prescribed drugs caused her to develop psychosis.

Eleven of the 12 jurors accepted that argument and found the former labor and delivery nurse not guilty of murder or manslaughter by reason of insanity. But one juror declined to acquit her, leading Judge William Sullivan to declare a mistrial.

Healey now wants to make free nurse visits available at home for all parents of newborns while also revising rules for mental-health screenings of new mothers.

‘For new mothers, [parenthood] can be exhausting, isolating and overwhelming. There are physiological and hormonal changes that just leave you a different person after birth,’ Healey said at a Tuesday news conference, according to the Boston Globe.

‘There’s been a lot of talk lately, of course, in our state and around this country about postpartum issues and care. And we need to talk more openly about this.’

The governor said postpartum depression and the difficulties faced by new parents are ‘nothing new,’ but added that the Clancy trial had prompted renewed attention to the issue.

‘That case and that trial has certainly continued the conversation and raised the conversation nationally, internationally, to a new level.’

The move follows the high-profile Lindsay Clancy murder trial

The proposal comes after the high-profile Lindsay Clancy murder trial

Under Healey’s proposal, the state would allocate $2 million to a program aimed at offering home visits to all families welcoming the roughly 68,000 newborns in Massachusetts each year.

No families would be required to participate, but those who do can have a nurse visit and answer questions about feeding, sleep and caring for a new baby. The nurse would also monitor mothers’ postpartum health, as well as screen for depression and other mental health concerns.

This would be the first state investment in a federally funded program that currently provides nurse visits to about 3,000 families each year, Healey said.

Healey also proposed a $250,000 investment in the Massachusetts Child Psychiatry Access Program for Moms to support statewide tracking of postpartum psychosis data, create a clinical education team for mental health providers and expand education for families and clinicians about recognizing early warning signs and when to seek help.

She further directed the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to broaden screening for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, helping providers identify concerns earlier and connect families with necessary care.

Healey’s administration said the initiatives build on previous efforts to improve maternal health, including expanding MassHealth postpartum coverage to 12 months, expanding access to doula services and strengthening postpartum mental health screening requirements.

One in eight women develop postpartum depression, which involves persistent sadness and fatigue, according to a 2024 study by BMC Public Health.

Roughly the same percentage of mothers develop postpartum anxiety, which includes overwhelming feelings of fear, difficulty concentrating or relaxing and compulsive rituals.

Postpartum psychosis is much more rare, affecting just one to two out of every 1,000 birth mothers.

About four percent of women with the most severe type of postpartum psychosis are estimated to kill their children, according to the Cleveland Clinic.

About five percent also take their own lives.

Family Says Missing Woman Was Strangled on Camera by Convicted Sex Offender

0

One of five women reported missing in connection with a notorious pornographer was allegedly strangled on camera for a disturbing homemade video, according to her family.

Nicole Fusaro disappeared in 2018 when she was 27. Her relatives say she was allegedly captured in footage filmed by Ray Horsch, the now-deceased adult filmmaker, after she went missing.

Fusaro’s cousin told NBC10 that investigators said they believe the woman shown in the video is Fusaro. Authorities have not, however, formally identified the victim.

Fusaro is among at least five missing women linked by police to Horsch’s Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, home. Investigators believe at least three of those women are dead.

Authorities said last month that material recovered from a hard drive inside Horsch’s home led them to believe two other missing women — Maribel Fresses and Gabrielle Amarando — also died, along with Fusaro.

Fresses was 27 when she vanished in 2018, while Amarando was 22 when she disappeared in 2012. The bodies of neither woman have been located.

Horsch died last year at the age of 82. He was known for publishing graphic snuff films and writing erotic, sadomasochistic books.

His former wife, Amy McHale, also disappeared in June 2016. But police did not uncover the disturbing evidence allegedly tying the missing women to Horsch’s home until after his death.

Nicole Fusaro vanished in 2018 at age 27 and was allegedly seen in video footage recorded by the deceased adult filmmaker, her family said.

Pennsylvania authorities said the investigation into Horsch began in June 2026, when his son Eugene, 44, was pulled over in his car near Independence Mall in Philadelphia.

Police became suspicious when a woman in the car with Eugene gave identification of Blair Tonzelli, who disappeared in 2023.

Inside the vehicle, cops also found two handguns and over $8,000 of illegal drugs, and Eugene was brought in for questioning.

He allegedly suggested to investigators that Tonzelli would ‘never be seen again’, leading authorities to carry out several search warrants on the Olney home previously owned by his notorious pornographer father.

Eugene has not been charged in connection with any of the women’s disappearances.

In an initial search of the home on June 20, police said they found at least one additional illegal gun, a fake FBI badge, a marijuana growing operation, and five urns containing cremated remains.

In another search on June 25, investigators said they found over 50 hard drives holding over 600,000 images, 70,000 videos and 10,000 writings and drawings.

In one of the hard drives, police said they found images and videos appearing to show Fresses and Amarando alive inside the house, followed by ‘graphic and dark’ depictions of their dead bodies, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Police said they notified the families of Fresses and Amarando in August, and Fresses’ father Ricardo told the Philadelphia Inquirer that he knew in his gut that his daughter had been dead for years.

‘She called me every day. Absolutely every day she called me, and one day she stopped calling me,’ he said. ‘And as the years went by I knew she was gone.’

The women’s families said both girls had struggled with drug addictions, and Horsch reportedly often offered drugs, cash and shelter to women struggling with addictions in exchange for nude photo and video shoots, reports the Inquirer.

Horch had a reputation for creating violent pornography, and he also wrote books featuring serial killers who preyed on women.

Computer parts and a home laboratory with various ‘containers of an unknown oily substance’ were also discovered in the home, reports NBC10.

Investigators reportedly interviewed people who knew Ray Horsch who said that he had often bragged about killing people and melting their bodies with chemicals.

The FBI’s Evidence Recovery Team was then drafted in to process the homemade laboratory, and another search warrant was served on the home on July 22 to excavate the property.

Investigators sent the oily substance to a Chicago laboratory, however it is not determined yet whether the substances contain human remains, reports say.

In August, Philadelphia Police Inspector Raymond Evers said teams were scouring the huge trove of digital evidence from Horsch’s home.

Evers said the cache represented just five percent of the evidence seized from the property.

However, Evers said the investigation has been complicated because police have not recovered any human remains from the home, and forensics tests have failed to find any blood or DNA.

Evers said without bodies, the Philadelphia Office of the Medical Examiner cannot officially declare the women dead.

Eugene Horsch has not been charged with any crimes in connection with the missing women, and Evers declined to say whether he or his father are believed to be the perpetrators.

He told a press conference: ‘Eugene lived there. He lived there for a long time. His dad lived there for a long time.’

Eugene Horsch remains in federal custody on charges related to illegal gun possession.

Anyone with information is asked to call Philadelphia police at 215-686-TIPS (8477).

Toddler, Baby Rescued After Drunk Driver Flees Crash Into Swamp

Inset: Isaac Kinsey. Background: Lakeland, Florida, police arrest a man accused of crashing his vehicle before fleeing into a swamp with two young children (Lakeland Police Department).

A Florida man is accused of overturning his vehicle with a baby and toddler inside, then attempting to evade police by walking through a swamp while carrying both children.

Isaac Kinsey, 27, has been charged with two counts of child neglect causing great bodily harm, along with multiple DUI-related offenses, according to a Lakeland Police Department news release.

The crash happened early Sept. 9 on Highway 33 near North Combee Road, police said. Investigators allege Kinsey drove through a road-closure sign and sandbags before his vehicle flipped inside a construction zone and struck tree roots.

When Lakeland officers reached the crash site, the vehicle was empty — but two child safety seats were visible inside. About 30 minutes later, police used a drone to locate Kinsey in a nearby swamp carrying the children, who were 2 years old and 10 months old. Authorities said video captured him stumbling and falling while holding them, briefly submerging both children in the water.

Officers eventually reached the three and brought them to safety.

“I did not know there was a swamp right here,” Kinsey allegedly told officers as they instructed him to turn the children over.

Kinsey was arrested, and he and the two children were transported to a hospital for treatment. Police did not disclose how Kinsey is related to the children.

Authorities said Kinsey appeared impaired and allegedly admitted he was intoxicated and driving with a suspended license.

Police said the children and Kinsey were fortunate to have survived the Florida crash and swamp ordeal.

“This incident could have ended with the loss of two innocent lives. The rapid deployment of Lakeland PD’s drone technology, along with the persistence and teamwork of responding officers, helped locate the children in an extremely difficult environment and get them the care they needed,” the press release said. “There is no excuse for impaired driving. We are thankful these children survived and proud of the officers whose actions helped prevent an even greater tragedy.”

Kinsey remains in the Polk County Jail without bond. His next court date is set for Oct. 13.

Taylor Swift Fans Defend Singer After 6-Word Chiefs Comment Is Misinterpreted

Taylor Swift has been a polarizing presence while attending Kansas City Chiefs games to support Travis Kelce. Some fans have gone to extremes, even booing Swift being shown at Chiefs games. The team played their first game of the season on September 14 against the Denver Broncos, and “The Life of a Showgirl” artist opted to skip the Emmys to bring some starpower to Arrowhead Stadium. After her husband completed a 59-yard play in the third quarter, cameras immediately cut to Swift celebrating in her suite alongside other members of the Kelce clan. It was only the season opener, but the football fans who love to pop off about Swift had plenty to say. “We just finished week one of the NFL season, and I already have Taylor Swift fatigue!” one viewer wrote on X.

A post circulating on X featured the “Opalite” singer talking in a stadium suite. Using amateur lip-reading that appears to be inaccurate, the creator claimed Swift wanted viewers’ attention directed back to the action on the field rather than the stands. “Even Taylor Swift is SICK of the broadcast cutting to her,” the post said alongside the video, alleging that Swift said, “Don’t show me! Get off of me.”

Members of the Swift Army were quick to pop up in the replies to the viral post that painted the singer as a distraction at the game, and they offered clarification on what she had actually said when the camera was on her. “That’s not what she is saying she said ‘he’s open he’s open get off him,'” one fan wrote, referring to Swift watching replay action of Kelce. “That is *not* what she said. #Lipreading: ‘Oh he’s open, oh he’s open, get off of him,'” another added. Swift also caused a stir by spending time with GQ cover star Tom Cruise at the game.

Taylor Swift has joked about the NFL showing her too often

Tom Cruise also opted to forego the Emmys to take in the Kansas City Chiefs game in the same suite as Taylor Swift. After its cameras captured the two high-profile A-listers having a conversation while seated next to each other, the NFL shared the footage on social media. There was also a clip of Swift and Cruise high-fiving, then sharing a quick hug after the Chiefs scored a touchdown to take a lead in the second quarter. Seeing “The Fate of Ophelia” singer rubbing elbows with the “Mission: Impossible” actor in Kansas City was a surprising sight for many viewers. “Taylor Swift and Tom Cruise at the same NFL game is the kind of celebrity crossover you couldn’t script. Somehow the Broncos vs Chiefs game just became a Hollywood event,” one X user commented.

Tom Cruise’s appearance at an early-season game in Kansas City has seemingly renewed complaints that Swift’s presence has changed the NFL, drawing heightened interest from audiences beyond traditional football fans. Early in her relationship with Travis Kelce, he addressed similar criticism during an October 2023 episode of the “New Heights” podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce. Asked whether the league had gone too far with its coverage of Swift, as some fans argued, Travis replied: “They’re overdoing it a little bit for sure, especially my situation.”

Swift joked about her NFL overexposure when she appeared on the “New Heights” podcast in August 2025. “I think we all know that if there’s one thing that male sports fans want to see in their spaces and on their screens — it’s more of me,” Swift playfully said.

US Attorney General Blanche Announces Federal Charges Against 160 in Pandemic Relief Fraud Sweep

0

The Justice Department has brought charges against dozens of people accused of exploiting COVID-19 pandemic relief programs in schemes that allegedly caused hundreds of millions of dollars in losses, U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche said Tuesday.

During remarks to reporters in the White House Rose Garden, Blanche said federal prosecutors nationwide helped arrest 160 defendants between mid-June and September. About 80 of those people were newly charged in connection with suspected COVID-19 fraud cases in Missouri and surrounding states, he said.

The alleged schemes accounted for more than $245 million in losses, according to Blanche.

Separately, federal prosecutors in Southern California said Tuesday that 12 defendants who operated in-home childcare facilities were charged with allegedly collecting more than $10 million in government childcare payments through fraud. Investigators said the facilities had few children enrolled, if any at all.

The 12 defendants are naturalized U.S. citizens originally from Syria, Afghanistan, Sudan, Iraq and Somalia.

“If you knowingly break the law, you will be held accountable,” Blanche said.

Officials said some defendants allegedly submitted claims for childcare payments while they were not even in the United States.

One defendant, Turkiya Alawad, 63, was found to be outside the U.S. between Jan. 1, 2024, and Jan. 30, 2024. However, they submitted and collected childcare payments for the dates she was not away, prosecutors said, according to The Associated Press.

The alleged daycare fraud case in California is larger than the one involving Feeding Our Future, which submitted roughly $4.6 million in claims to the Child Care Assistance Program in Minnesota, according to The AP.

NHS Accused of Systemic Antisemitism in New Report

0

The NHS is facing allegations of an “anti-Semitic rot” after Jewish staff and patients described experiencing abuse while working in, or seeking treatment from, British hospitals.

Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA), a Jewish advocacy organisation, has released interviews with British Jews detailing alleged anti-Semitic incidents within the health service.

Among those accounts, a nurse said a colleague gave a Nazi salute in her presence. A patient alleged that, during surgery, his surgeon told him: “the Jews shoot children in the head or the legs for fun”.

The charity also published polling which suggested that some British Jews fear their religion could affect whether they receive equal treatment through the NHS.

Almost half of respondents said they had taken measures to conceal their Jewish identity since the October 7 attack in Israel.

Stephen Silverman, the CAA’s director of investigations and enforcement, said: “At the very moment when they need the NHS the most, instead of being able to trust our national healthcare provider, Jewish people are having to hide their identity for fear of unequal treatment or abuse.

“As long as that is the case, the NHS cannot be said to be for everyone.”

In the CAA documentary, Malignant: Anti-Semitism in the NHS, Cambridge hospital nurse Shelly Lipman said a healthcare assistant she worked alongside asked about Hebrew calligraphy on her arm. Lipman said she explained that it reflected her Jewish heritage.

She said that when she returned from lunch, she found the colleague “literally holding a Nazi salute … I just felt like my jaw dropped for what felt like an hour”.

‘I was just absolutely gobsmacked. Right next to a patient’s bed as well,’ she added.

Saul Freeman was undergoing surgery to remove potential skin cancer from his forehead, for which he remained awake, when the conversation with his surgeon moved from the price of oil to the war in the Middle East.

‘He went on to say, “and the wars still going on in Gaza, they are still killing children in Gaza”. And he said “you would think they would know better given what happened to them in Europe”,’ to which he clarified ‘them’ as Jewish people, according to Mr Freeman.

The surgeon allegedly went on to say: ‘The Jews should know better…The Jews do it just for fun…They shoot children in the head or the legs for fun, and they do it differently for their own amusement each day.’

Mr Freeman said he felt ‘vulnerable’ while the surgeon was performing the incisions and slipped his star of David under his T-shirt as he ‘didn’t know if he was going to intentionally cause me harm’.

‘I was really aware that he probably had seen that and therefore he knew exactly who he was talking to,’ he added.

Mr Freeman made a complaint of the incident to Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, which said it would be ‘unable to provide details of any employment investigations, decision, or outcomes relating to individual members of staff’.

Jane McNicholas, chief medical officer at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, told Daily Mail: ‘Mr Freeman has raised his concerns with us and we are reviewing these as a matter of urgency.

‘We take any allegations of this nature very seriously and will respond accordingly based on the findings of the review.’

One senior Jewish medical professor said he received antisemitic death threats, while other Jewish doctors told CAA they have stopped wearing their name badges when possible to limit the amount of abuse.

Some said they had been ‘aggressively interrogated’ for wearing their stars of David – a religious necklace often worn by Jewish people – while other Jewish doctors have even quit the NHS to become private doctors, which they claim is safer.

‘Most can’t come forward because of the risk to their careers and their livelihoods, and in some cases, even to their safety,’ Mr Silverman explained.

Adam, a dentist, said many members ‘with Jewish sounding names’ were removed from a professional online chatroom to discuss patients’ problems, following comments from other members to kick ‘Zionists’ out for ‘spying’.

‘We saw discrimination, hate bias, accusations, stereotypes, conspiracy theories all to do with Jews,’ Adam said.

Some members were said to have written, ‘I will never treat a Zionist and I’m glad I don’t treat Jews’.

A spokesperson for the GDC said: ‘Discrimination has no place in dentistry. Everyone should be treated equally and with respect, whether a patient, member of the public or part of the dental team.

‘All forms of discrimination are inherently serious, and any allegations of this type that are reported to us, will be treated as such.

‘We continue to work with colleagues across healthcare to embed the Mann review recommendations to address antisemitism and other forms of discrimination so that everyone can feel safe at work and when accessing care.’

Another NHS staff member said they had planned to bring in donuts to celebrate Hanukkah, a Jewish holiday, in a similar way as to other religious holidays they had celebrated throughout the year.

She said she was told it was ‘inappropriate to do so due to the current climate’, which the interviewee interpreted as meaning ‘we are going to delete our Jews here’.

She was told by a staff member at a separate event that ‘all Jewish people are racist and because we were Jews, didn’t understand what racism was’.

When the interviewee tried to correct the woman making this statement and argued that Jewish people would understand racism, she said she was called ignorant and the woman ‘lunged across the table at me and tried to grab me’.

Mr Silverman said a Jewish patient was threatened with having his dialysis treatment stopped after he complained about a staff member for wearing a free Palestine T-shirt ‘that erased Israel as a Jewish homeland’.

Another patient said he had boycott Israel stickers placed around his room, according to the CAA.

‘I don’t think people want to report because we’re very scared of intimidation, retribution and repercussions. I think if they are reported there is a feeling they won’t go anywhere and it will just be rejected because it is not taken seriously,’ one interviewee said.

Dr Rahmeh Aladwan was arrested several times and charged with four counts of inviting support for Hamas earlier this year

The documentary highlighted suspended NHS doctor Rahmeh Aladwan, who frequently posted about the conflict in Gaza and wrote online ‘the Jews love stealing Palestinian bodies and harvesting their organs as well as tormenting the family’. She was charged with four counts of inviting support for Hamas earlier this year.

Dr Aladwan has also been investigated by the General Medical Council (GMC) after concerns were raised about her fitness to practise, following a series of posts on her now-suspended X account in which she repeatedly talked of ‘Jewish supremacy’, labelled Israelis ‘worst than Nazis’ and described Hamas operatives as ‘oppressed resistance fighters, not terrorists’.

She had been cleared once before after the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service ruled her opinions on social media did not amount to ‘bullying or harassment’.

Those posts included a description of the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead, north London, as ‘a Jewish supremacy cesspit’, Israeli people as ‘worse than Nazis’ and the Holocaust as ‘a concept’.

The doctor who complained about her views told CAA that when Dr Aladwan discovered his identity, she would allegedly post often about him online alongside baseless allegations like ‘he rapes small girls’.

The documentary then shared a clip from a meeting of the British Islamic Medical Association in June 2025 which appeared to show senior GMC member, Dr Tista Chakravarty Gannon, saying the regulator was seeing ‘far more complaints around anti-Semitism than we are Islamophobia, and they were far more likely to close them as compared to the general body, if you will, of complaints’.

She added there were no plans to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition of anti-Semitism. BIMA has been contacted for comment.

Other medical professionals mentioned in the documentary include north London GP Dr Abdul Wahid, who was revealed as the long-time chairman of the UK branch of Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir.

In January 2024, the UK Government formally proscribed Hizb ut-Tahrir as a terrorist organisation, making membership or leadership within the group illegal under UK law. Dr Wahid was suspended by NHS England, but was reinstated on appeal and still practices as a GP.

Meanwhile Dr Abed Alfarra, an emergency medicine specialist with Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, was filmed at a Health Workers 4 Palestine rally telling protesters: ‘Zionists control the media, Zionists control the world.’

The film also included a clip of consultant plastic surgeon Dr Ghassan Abu-Sittah telling a rally: ‘After eleven months, it’s clear the Israeli government and the Israeli population have now embraced the final solution…’

In January his views brought him to the attention of the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service, where a hearing cleared him of claims of antisemitism and support for terrorism. The GMC has formally lodged an appeal, with a High Court judicial review expected in January 2027.

The film also showed Dr Ranjeet Brar, consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon, appearing on Communist Party channel Prol TV, where he said: ‘Who are the other group apart from the Zionists who wanted to say Jewishness was a special genetic makeup? The Nazis.’

In another clip, Dr Rehiana Ali, a consultant neurologist, openly said: ‘I don’t accept Hamas as a terrorist organisation.’

Midwife Fatima Mohammed meanwhile appeared in an online conversation saying: ‘Zionism is just illogical, irrational, it’s psychotic’.

The CAA called the current situation an ‘institutional crisis’.

Mr Silverman said: ‘Our documentary exposes the anti-Semitic rot at the heart of our NHS. The anecdotal evidence presented in our film, together with the empirical data provided by our polling, demonstrate the magnitude and severity of this institutional crisis.

‘The NHS touches us all at times in our life when we are the most vulnerable. This crisis requires a wide-ranging response that addresses the growing extremist culture within healthcare, the abysmal failure of regulation, the shocking lack of transparency and the total absence of accountability.

‘We cannot accept politicians pointing to past reviews and recommendations: we need real and robust action now. That is why we are also presenting a detailed plan to address this national scandal. Practitioners, trusts, regulators and others must all act.

‘At the very moment when they need the NHS the most, instead of being able to trust our national healthcare provider, Jewish people are having to hide their identity for fear of unequal treatment or abuse. As long as that is the case, the NHS cannot be said to be for everyone.’

An NHS spokesperson said: ‘The stories highlighted in this documentary show there is unacceptable antisemitism and racism in the NHS, faced by both our staff and our patients and we must root this out.

‘Any form of abuse against NHS staff is totally unacceptable and all local organisations must take a zero-tolerance approach to harassment, discrimination, racism and acts of violence – including police involvement and criminal prosecution where appropriate.

‘The NHS is taking targeted action to support our staff, providing protection and comprehensive psychological support for people reporting concerns, and implementing the recommendations from Lord Mann’s review to tackle antisemitism and other forms of racism in the NHS.’

Sir Jim Mackey, the chief executive of NHS England, previously said: ‘The NHS at its best is a place of compassion, care and unity – not conflict – and there is unacceptable anti-Semitism and racism in the NHS, faced by both our staff and our patients and we must root this out.’

In June, the Department of Health and Social Care said a review into anti-Semitism found some staff experience routine ostracism and had even considered leaving the NHS.

Lord Mann, who led the review, called on the NHS to be ‘a responsible and inclusive employer’. The Government’s independent adviser on anti-Semitism also made a series of recommendations.

In a separate review published in July 2025, Lord Mann and former Conservative minister Dame Penny Mordaunt warned of rising anti-Semitism across British society, including a ‘specific issue’ within the NHS.

Mandatory anti-racism training, specifically including anti-Semitism, will be put in place for NHS bosses and trust chairmen within six months.

Meanwhile mandatory training on equality, diversity and human rights, which is already in place for NHS staff, will be updated to include ‘quality assured content’ on anti-Semitism and anti-Muslim hostility, the department added.

Lord Mann said: ‘Jewish people have to be confident that they will receive the same treatment as everyone else, at all times, in all situations.

‘If people feel, as they do, that some have to hide their identity as patients or suffer in silence as staff, then the universality of the NHS is fundamentally breached.

‘The solutions are simple but require a consistency of approach across the whole of the NHS and clear leadership at the top.’
