Ben Renick Wikipedia - What Happened To Him? Death Cause Explored

Ben Renick, a well-known snake breeder, ran a world-renowned snake breeding business. He possessed snakes worth more than a million dollars.

He was planning to sell his stock of snakes, ball pythons, and anacondas from Renick’s Reptiles at the time of his death.

His story will air on national television on Friday at 8 p.m. on “Dateline NBC.” Because Renick’s story will be aired soon, here is a complete breakdown of the case and his death.

Venom: What Was Ben Renick’s Missouri Death Cause?

On June 8, 2017, Ben Renick was shot several times to death. Columbia daily tribune reported, three years after the case, authorities arrested his wife Lynlee Jo Renick, and her ex-boyfriend, Michael K. Humphrey for the murder.

They were both charged with first-degree murder as well as armed criminal action. His wife reported finding a dead husband’s body in one of the snake barns in 2017.

According to court documents, the murder plot allegedly took place primarily at Ascencia Spa. Ashley Shaw, a spa employee, allegedly assisted him in planning everything.

The document further states her first attempt to kill Ben Renick allegedly was via a narcotic-laced protein shake. Court denied excluding this allegation from the trial in October.

Ben Renick’s case has yet to be documented on Wikipedia. Michael K. Humphrey allegedly picked up Lynlee from the spa on the day of Renick’s murder.

The evidence discovered at the crime scene suggested that Renick knew his assailant. It was because of where he was discovered and how he was killed.

As a result, the killer did not steal anything from the crime scene, which served as additional evidence. Following his October conviction in Audrain County, he provided prosecutors with the location of the murder weapon.

The report states, as of 2022, the age of Ben Renick is 33-years old. The Missouri native has been sentenced to 16-years in prison for the murder of her husband, Ben Renick.
