As At Today Rebecca O Donnell 48, Is In Prison. She pleaded guilty and was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of former Senator Linda Collins.
Linda’s body was discovered with stab wounds outside her Pocahontas home on June 4, 2019.
Rebecca was arrested on suspicion of murder and later pled guilty to first-degree murder and mistreatment of a body.

According to ABC News, O’Donnell pled guilty to first-degree murder and abuse of a body before subsequently pleading “no contest” to two charges of solicitation to conduct capital murder in another county in connection with a different murder-for-hire conspiracy.
She was subsequently sentenced to 40 years in prison for murder, 14 years in jail for solicitation, and three years in prison for misuse of a body.
While no reason was ever revealed, Collins’ son believes O’Donnell was taking money from his mother and stabbed her to death when she questioned her about it.

According to ABC, the first judge supervising the case sealed the case’s documents, leaving many people baffled as to why this happened.
According to the North West Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Collins’ family later sued the State Police and the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office for access to the files, revealing that O’Donnell had sold gold and silver worth $15,110 on three separate occasions that had been stored in Collins’ home.
According to the media site, the family was close to agreeing on what materials from the probe will be made public as of March 2022.

Prosecutors for the state claim to have video footage showing Rebecca giving a letter to a prisoner inside the Jackson County jail. The message contains directions on what the suicide note should read. It was O’Donnell’s handwriting, according to the FBI.
She also alleged that many commissary goods were stolen from her cell, including a package of ramen noodles, coffee, and candy bars, in a statement submitted on Aug. 27, 2019.
Rebecca is expected to serve 50 years in jail before becoming eligible for release. Tim Loggains, Rebecca’s fiance, supported her, stating she and Collins were like sisters.

However, during the hearing, Rebecca stated, “I purposefully killed her and then hid the body.”
Collins was an American entrepreneur and politician who served in the Arkansas Senate as a Republican.
According to Ballotpedia, she was also the owner and operator of Days Inn and Suites of Pocahontas and the creator of Randolph County Tourism.
